Hello Gamers and welcome back to the igniter server this is the start of season 3 we’re back in a brand new world starting over from scratch and we’ll see where our journey takes us we’re ready to dive straight on in so let’s go ladies and gentlemen welcome to igniter SMP season 3 this

Is we have 18 people joining us at the start of the season this is we’ve ever had before I’m pretty excited about this I want to give a special shout out to a couple people who joined us right at the end of season two and made one or two

Episodes uh specifically GJ where are you you here somewhere there he is right there uh zero I know you joined a little bit before that but you were kind of one of those late comers as well um also dark dark John are you over there welcome welcome to the and also some of

You uh audience members I’m talking to you right now might have noticed Fedora master in the background of some of our videos he didn’t make any season 2 videos but he did show up a couple times so you might have seen him there also we have some brand new members joining us

For season 3 including uh but not limited to minion minion gaming over here welcome uh we also have who else do we have black black shadow hrd welcome welcome and of course dippy B welcome and count Monty count Monty how are you sir and of course our brand newest

Member who only joined us like two days ago painting thing welcome I hope I didn’t miss anyone everybody have a great season and Go Yes so we got run into punching some trees grab some food food and a bed from a village we set about finding ourselves a good plot near spawn for our starter house found this hill with some interesting caves underneath that had a great view over the starter area I

Planted a flag in the ground put down a chest and a bed to seal the deal and went off exploring in the world picking out what surface resources I found along the way I also found a jungle and a parrot and then I bumped into a group of

Folks on the water who said they were going to take on a mansion they just found no armor stone tools why not let’s go for it unsurprisingly this was not a well thought through idea oh I bread oh my God I also have bread by the

Way oh jeez no I had so much on me oh no watch out did there’s one there however we did find a whole bunch of books and collectively decided we’ put this towards a community in hter setup I went on to make a few unsuccessful caving runs on my own and

Lost everything a few times over devastated uhoh uhoh uh run run run run run run run run run run run run run run run run no so I decided it was better to team up with someone and neat freeze was up for the challenge NE and I went caving for more

Resources and she was kind enough to KI me out with some iron gear as she had already been successful in the hunt for diamonds and upgraded all of her gear already before I even had a a single piece o she works fast come here Shield up Shield

Up this trip was way more successful and we came back with a good amount of St to Iron Coal diamonds and other goodies o those are a lot of diamonds I even ended up finding an abandoned M shaft and a zombie spawner not too far underneath my starter base

Area now I had a diamond pick I grabbed a water bucket and found the nearest lava pool to make some obsidian mined that up crafted an enchanting table bookshelves and plac the community enchanter at spawn for everyone else to use after using it myself of course to

Enchant my first gear then Jay and I decided it was a good idea to go to the nether the mission was to get some glowstone quartz and see if we could raid a fortress we were unsuccessful in finding a fortress but we did take the opportunity to do some early piglin bar

In so we got some extra goodies from that before heading home with our lives firmly and surprisingly intact all right so that’s got you caught up to where we are today and our little starter base Hill is uh still very rudimentary as you can see a lot of

Lot going on here we have some very basic Farms we have a wheat farm over there that gives us about a stack and a half uh per Harvest we have sugar cane here we’ve been uh growing and cutting down some trees a zombie just came to

Say hi and we have some pretty morally dubious Animal Farms just got a whole bunch of cow stuffed in a small space here giving us beef and leather and a horrible bashery Farm over here for the chickens that uh give us all of that stuff too and uh yeah we’re just getting

Set up ready to start building in this space really I’m going to do a bit of terraforming in here and our main house is going to be here there’s a couple of key things things that we need to get sorted first one of those is iron so we have some

Iron uh just over a stack and a half there of iron uh but we are burning through it fast we are doing a lot of tree cutting here with unenchanted iron axes and yeah it is burning through the iron super fast getting all these resources so we need to do something

About that yep our fellow server mates have done an awful lot of caving and all of the easily obtainable iron in a reasonable distance is pretty much gone you have to go deep mining or caving way way further out now to get it so we need

To do something about that we need to set ourselves up with an iron farm and I’d really like to put it in spawn chunks because obviously then it will just keep producing and eventually we can just make it free for everyone but uh for the time being this is for my

Personal use and not sure if I’ll sell it but we’re going to go hunting for somewhere to put this thing for an iron farm we’re going to need Villages and there is a communal villager breeder near spawn so we’re going to make use of that but we also need beds quite a few

Of them for all the villages we’re going to put in there so we need sheep haven’t got any and uh looks like all the ones in the area have been killed or captured already so we’re going on a little bit of an Excursion first see if we can pick us up some

Barar what is going on here oh this is the Villager breeder oh there’s sheep in here fantastic we can Shear these guys for a start so that gave us some wool but we still need more I believe neat freze had started a wool shop already I think it was one of the

First Farms she made so we’re going to head over to her base ah here we go this is exactly what we need I think we’ll choose light blue and I guess we’ll leave payment in the chest for now I couldn’t I couldn’t find the shop sorry any

Freeze all right this chunk looks good I think it’s inside the boundary so it’s going to be loaded it’s where the shopping district is going to be this area here eventually will be the shopping district so we could uh make a shop if we wanted and it ain’t encroaching on anybody’s

Land Jay’s right next door but um yeah we won’t need to get too close to him we’re going to put it underground as we said so this looks like a good spot we’ve got everything I think we need so we’re going to head back to our base get all the materials come back

Here and uh make a start on this Guy All right so the the basics are done the digging is done and right where I’m sing here is where the iron will pop out when we’re when we’re all done we need to do some tidying up but the next step is villagers so let me just go into free

Camp here and show you what we’ve done so the Golems will spawn here I still need to put the water in I’ll do that last and the they fall down here there will be Lava here which will also do last and they’ll die and the drops will

Get picked up put into this self- powerered dropper which I still need to cover come along here and whoop up the water stream to here the villagers all sit in these little bed stations and we need to get zombies in each of these boats and there’s four of those here

Here here and here but that’s the next step we got to get villagers in and we’re going to drop them down these shoots and land them on the beds there and then they should be in place so we’re going to need 12 12 Villages luckily the village breeder isn’t very

Far it’s just over here we’re going to go grab some as is off in the way with villagers they like to do their own thing and getting them to do what you want is pretty difficult but uh after a little bit of wrangling we managed to get some

In the boat we would drive them around the coast pop them out of the boat and try to attract them over to where we need them after a couple of failed attempts it was much easier to just get them back into boats by attracting them towards a workstation and getting them

Into a boat on Route then using some Pistons to get them up the landscape to the level I needed drive them to where we needed and uh build a little box around the hole we wanted to drop them in to with some trap doors that they thought they could walk over to escape

Down they fell the beds break most of their fall and they’re in repeat 12 times finally we just had to wait for some nighttime made sure no one else slept and get some zomberg to fall into our trap so we would attract them across the land over to a funneled area where

There are once again some trap doors that lead down to the stairs that we put in before the zombies fall in we see seal them in and eventually they’ll start noticing the villagers at the bottom of the stairs there and get trapped in the boats repeat this four

Times and there were just some caves to fill in and uh yeah the iron started flowing of course it turned into a bit of an iron Fountain to start with we don’t have any gun of storage system hooked up to this so that was next a simple water stream with an item filter

To take out the poppies and compost those and going into a stack of chests that we neatly hide at the end okay I think we’re mostly done here we have a working iron farm uh working a bit too well as you can see there are a few Golems just sort of roaming around

On top here I put this thing underground to try and make it invisible but in doing so I don’t think I put it quite far enough underground but how far underground is this is it like 12 13 blocks something like that it’s a fair way down and yet these Villages all the

Way down here seem to be capable of spawning golems all the way up here who would have thought that is a lot of uh distance for them to travel but it’s not too much of a hassle it’s not going to affect the farm rates and we’re going to

Put a building here anyway eventually so that plus some spawn proofing should hopefully Stop Those Golems spawning in the future and how do we get there so we’ve just got a little entrance here and zip on straight down so there’s our iron flowing in and our bone Mill appear in

There very happy with that that gives us everything we need for early game and um out of sight out of mind can’t even hear it apart from these unwanted visitors but um you know they’re friendly enough and they also help defend the area at night so win-win I’m not going to make

This into a shop right now because uh vid also has an iron farm over there crimes against humanity clearly with this gigantic box he has promised to decorate it make it something nice but this is currently an iron farm and shop over there as well so no need to make competition what

We’ll probably do is just um once the value of iron has gone down to it’s nothing we can just make this public and have anyone come over here and collect all the iron they need because it’s inside spawn chunks and it should just keep producing throughout the game once

We have them we’ll probably get autoc crafters and make them into blocks and then sh loaders and fill those up in the future but for now this will do next zero inites convinced me that it was a good idea to go and raid an ancient city here he is let’s go let

Within like 10 blocks of that guy that was pretty close okay fair Swift sneak one yeah I just got Swift sneak I think I’m safe so yep just dude I’m going to put Swift sneak on around the rest of this chest there we go nice dude he’s right behind you dude

Back just be to get the armor yeah you didn’t specify exactly when when I might die so I’m going to die at some point in the future s yeah yeah you really didn’t speci oh dude that was scary oh I’m I’m out I realize I was that close to the

Surface and what oh my inventory is absolutely full I mean if there’s anything you oh my goodness dude you shouldn’t have done this hey dude you you come with us I mean your instant answer was like hell no so I was like you know what you came along you played along with it

And you deserve it oh my goodness look at me and I got the advancement as well cover me with diamonds thanks man very kind no worries awesome dude all right guys thanks for the adventure yeah yeah no worries thank you for coming along with us all right so there’s one last

Thing I want to sort before closing things off for this episode and that is storage and my smelter you see right behind me here here now uh I don’t like mining a lot I don’t like going on big grindy mining sessions and that is partly where we made the iron farm cuz

Yeah there’s not much easy to obtain iron left so the other thing I need is coal again same for coal a lot of the easy to get coal has been taken already so we’re going to do something about that and we’re going to put a smelter down stairs underneath us here which is

Eventually going to form the basement of my base so this is going to be a super quick one but I shall timelapse it and we can see what this looks like when it’s in Place All right basement is dug and uh yeah we’ve got the beginnings of a smelter in place let’s go take a look so that’s very modest little smelter but I got here nine nine furnaces and just a little rail car at the back here so we’re going to have fuel going into this

Chest and it’s going to go across the back and whatever going to be smelted it’s going to go in here and run across and the output into this chest right here very straightforward and when we have the mine cuts on there flicking this lever will activate the whole thing

Here this is what I need to do next this is going to be my fuel for the smelter now I mentioned I’m not going to want to use coal anymore I want to stop doing that so we need a little special something in here that’s going to make

Infinite fuel for us to smel whatever we want in this little guy but to do so I need some slime I don’t think anybody has slime on the server yet so we’re going to need to find a swamp I think and just go slime hunting so going to get my gear

On and we’re going to go on a little bit of a journey so I found a swamp but it’s it’s it’s not great it’s not great it’s uh it’s pretty small I think it only extends you can see the grass changing color over here and the trees changing

It does go over this way a little bit okay it’s not as bad as I thought but it’s not huge and it’s uh how far am I traveled I am 3 and a half thousand blocks out from Spawn and this is the first swamp I’ve seen so um I’m not

Holding out hopes of there being anything else going to set the No Sleep status so we get some slime spawning which is why we’ve come over here we need some slime and uh we’re going to see if we can get some of these guys down here I’m going to light up the area

A bit first cuz slimes are the only mobs we want I don’t believe my luck come all the way out here to a swap I am to get some slime and it’s the new moon is that what that one’s called a new moon the one where it’s uh there’s no moon that’s

Really really annoying uh so just have to wait I guess what I’ll probably do is go log off and come back in this place another day and hopefully we’ll get some slime spawning not today though oh you’re joking oh the swamp I’ve been in is just just

Through there like 100 blocks I was just exploring in the daytime and um yeah it looks like there’s a second swamp right next to it or it’s sort of connected somehow this is a much better looking swamp I think we can do a lot with this come here my friends I’ve been

Looking for you for a long time give me a slime yes yes yes yes so as Dan would say slay I’ve got all the slimes I need for now plus a few more now this place is lowkey dangerous so I’m heading home there’s one other ingredient I needed dead coral fan

Something else I realized I didn’t have so I had to go find a warm ocean and came out and realized I started mining this stuff without silk touch I need silk touch and I don’t have it so I had to go all the way back home Enchanted

Myself a pil touch pickaxe traveled all the way back and got what I needed while I was there I just filled up my inventory cuz this stuff comes in handy so that last ingredient of the the coral has enabled us to finish what we were doing let’s go downstairs and have a

Look shall we this is my little mini smelter all finished so the bit we were really working towards here was the Slime and underneath here you can just see it through the Slime there there Coral fan what does this do it’s a super simple carpet tuer check this out just flick the guy

On pumps out the carpet that all then gets captured and sent into the water stream which goes up there into a hopper well I need to check what’s going on there oh the Hopper’s overwhelmed okay put in a second Hopper now so that should at least double the

Intake capacity so things we want to smel are going to go in here should get pulled out pretty fast and away we go boom boom boom boom boom it’s all lit up and uh we should be able to continue here and processing this at nine times the speed we were before with

A single one not too shabby and inflows the copper nice and fast it’s not a super smelter by any means but um I’ll be building one of those when we get through round to building the mega base for now this is just a starter base furnace array and it’s perfectly

Adequate takes care of my needs and has removed my Reliance on coal just like that right all the copper smelt it nice and speedily and apparently that’s the first time I’ve done that we had one more thing to do this week before we sign off and then

Busy first week on the server we’ve actually accomplished quite a lot we don’t have a starter base yet but we have a starter camp we have a basement we have a smelter with no fuel required we have an iron farm and we’ve been helping out some friends plus some

Adventuring I mean that’s what Minecraft’s all about right so next episode I want to try and stock up on a few materials we’re going to need for our starter base I’ve got some pretty Grand plans for what I want to achieve and I’m going to need a lot of different
