Hey welcome back everybody simon here again with episode nine of my ultimate alchemy exam and uh i’m gonna get a little automation started this time i think uh so give me a couple of these detectors and then i mean like two exporters would you there’s that and there’s that perfect all right

So we’re gonna go down actually over to here and this is going to kind of i was thinking about filling up this with wall or the blocks make a solid wall i don’t think we can do that though because conduit facades are uh disabled so let’s see i’m going to need my

Refined conduits i’m going to need some more than that aren’t i um yeah it should be okay nah i don’t see that key of the condo connector back there so there we go now we don’t have that black square behind behind there all right you my friend actually and the next stage done

And then detectors right you are going to detect silver right and can i grab any of this by any chance i don’t look like it right whatever i’ve got some right here perfect need some quartz merged iron so you though you’re gonna detect silver uh you’re gonna keep

Say 2048 in the system at all times emit signal when above 2048 you are going to only work without redstone signal and we’re going to look at putting iron oh wait a second though yeah oh there shouldn’t be a problem as long as i fill this thing up first honestly

Famous last words right let’s get you over to uh id and we’re up to 29 000 iron how much glass are we up to uh we are up to sixteen hundred yeah that one’s a little on the slow side actually should definitely speed this stuff up

Really i’m like just out of range of the transmitter well these guys that should speed up my uh sand production a decent amount and you’re hardened right yeah okay it’s definitely not keeping up with iron but i don’t think anything really could keep up with the iron production at this point

All right so you are going to be exporting glass and iron i need to actually keep on these irons right here and wow look at that you actually balanced it that’s kind of amazing all right and then this one is going to be doing enriched iron okay this one probably just 10 24

Honestly i don’t think i’m gonna be doing that many like massive refined storage crafts all at the same time uh you will uh emit one above amount only work without and you can have silver and iron let’s get that put in there as well just to balance things out a bit

All right cool i mean there’s that’s done right there can’t beat that right and then this is my furnace so far and i’ve got like four things in there all right let’s go ahead and hop on down here and i’ve got another crafter in here but the downside is i have one

Recipe space left i’m gonna have to make more crafters but the problem was i was running low on quartz and rich iron which uh probably should go like right there honestly all right let’s see if we can fairly quick this good luck at that all right

Why don’t you want to go home i have no idea goodbye oh okay because it was there it was just the server and my client were disagreeing on what was there oh we’re low on glass or a gold all right so um there’s still some rafters right

Uh can i make like 10 yeah cool then i need some of these guys as well uh conduit uh yeah dang it i don’t have the crafting recipes right now to do all this that was my last pulsating iron as well that’s uh that is not ideal hmm acting monitor please

Okay yeah i kind of figured i used up everything any two patterns not a problem glass i need one of these the monitor make like two of these patterns and everything is extremely slow right now because i have not sped upgrade anything yet can i get like 20 of these there we go

These are going to get ramped up all the way uh these ones i’m not too certain about they’re just feeling you know never observed honestly so not all that important here give me some of that and you can go into there there we go the crafting job should hopefully be done by now

Yep look at that what did you just do and then crafting monitor so i can keep an eye on what crafting jobs are actually happening not a bad thing now now that i have you know these guys i can make a ton more recipes that’s another 90 plus the one i had

Room for so i mean it’s not there’s a reason to prefer buying re-uh reborn storage so here now you come with me all right so all times nine recipes right now 108 not bad that’s my cactus doing uh 75 000. is iron doing 29 000. wow 1100 stacks i think we’re doing okay

All right so a few different things i did teach the system how to make like iron pickaxes uh levers torches uh pistons but what i want to do now is actually teach it a few different upgrades right like a crafting upgrade would be a good idea

And something else i did was i hooked up my energetics oh good god the sawmill things are happening oh no not a snack just one please missing sugar all right well so stack upgrade one speed upgrade three under here there we go now it’s gonna back

All right get rid of that back stopping and because we have four string wow that you can paint with items you don’t even have that’s something new uh because of all the different planks and stuff sometimes refined storage kind of works out whenever you try to just auto complete something like this

So the crafting table went on best just to play it safe and use just oak planks and then if it’s two pieces of the same crap try to put them in different crafters so they can work simultaneously it just makes a bit of a difference all right so uh let’s see

That should be our crafting upgrade done there any others i wanted in here um Speed range no i do want to make another range upgrade though you have some blank upgrade basis left so let’s go ahead and do that and we’ll get our wireless up to its max range i think there we go 64 blocks away from this point this is going to move

It’s going to become more essentially located hopefully so yeah it’s it’s the hope for the future that’s what it is let’s go ahead and i guess get me like a couple detectors here i really need to get some speed upgrades into all these there’s one and an exporter tends to your why not

That’s going to take a bit though i’m going to have to smelt up some processors i know that make iron processors for the crafter so there’s one and two all right now let’s see interface interface would be a good thing to have right interface is an excellent thing to teach your system

So can i have i have an interface please thank you i am missing cable okay well then if you’re gonna learn how to make cable next but with having all the items and you know already stocked up and you know the barrels or whatever it uh it really cuts down on the

Crafting time which it does help because the machines in this pack aren’t sped up like some of the other packs been playing and what i’m going to do is like say over here we’re going to have an interface like here right ankle crafters on either side

You are going to get a few things like crafting upgrade oh yeah this is going to take a bit isn’t it here goes you can have one of those and let’s see i do have some conduiting here on me so let’s go ahead and get that wired up first

Uh that’ll work for now because i’m gonna put more crafters probably in this area as well whatever crafter i put in i can remove a conduit from so i like how it comes down here over and then yeah i’ll fix it eventually all right so iron pick please add one of these

You go oh need two of you and then i’m going to need a probably 16 of that and like oh no wait a second nope nope nope that’s the end result i thought we’d get like 16 levers and 16 torches to keep in stock in here

So keep one of those in stock oh there it goes it auto crafted that one for us torches levers right actually i need to keep at least one of you on hand so and uh one of you on hand gave me this would you thank you

So you my friend you are going to be pickaxe hole which that pole will never go anywhere so and then lever and you’re gonna start making redstone for me not too terribly fast everything should be able to keep up with it right torch pull and okay you didn’t you didn’t register

There we go and pick and then i can just drop like you know these guys here off and that off and that’ll get shunted back into the system and then we are going to need a couple of filters which i don’t think i’ve taught yet yeah for the first little bit anyway

It’s gonna be a lot of running back and forth over here like all right now i need to know how to make a basic filter right all right and then because it’s a basic filter it needs a hopper like so i’ve already taught system how to make

Paper anyway so that’s that’s a plus and there we go so now we should see redstone and glowstone well momentarily actually it’s being made right now the reason for the filter is so that those conduits know that they can pull items out of those blocks and dump them into the refined storage system

Now these conduits aren’t exactly like the best feature or the best way of doing this actually i’m gonna change my mind on these already they do have a problem keeping up with things at times so it’s like they don’t kick as fast as regular item conduits do

You extract in green you will extract on green you will insert on green there we go now it’s dumping all that stuff in here can i get myself some speed upgrades maybe um let’s go with three speed upgrades i was trying to decide if i wanted to do three

Speed upgrades or two speeds and stack there we go three the three speed upgrades is actually going to be overkill but it’ll keep up for now and i might do something similar like this for let’s say pistons but the cool thing is is these guys are actually looking at this is the

Inventory they can pull their items out of you see these numbers here just keep popping you know put them back and forth and then you’re doing good and once the pickaxe breaks it’ll grab one out of here the system will automatically recraft it torches are being made you know constantly at this point

I might actually want to speed up my charcoal machine at one point in time also how’s our coke doing when it’s upstairs and i can’t easily check from here now what i also could do is actually go ahead and get the piston one set up hmm

I have my detector or something i still had to okay good all right so yeah we’re going to do the piston you’re going to be extract active with signal though you will come up to here and you will be looking at the shards right under shards oh these things and whenever you’re

Under say 128 emit a signal so this thing can extract that away and i need a piston yep okay i know i got some around here so you are going to just keep one piston in stock is all that’s all i really care about at this point

Me you muzzle toss you in there and you i’m going there as well and i need another bowl and you can have your bowl and it’ll go to those two stacks well 128 which is actually for these things equivalent to like eight stacks because they only stack to eight

Inner shards in the system and then it’s gonna stop i’ve got a different system set up for doing ender pearls right now it’s not the fastest but you know it is doing the job you can watch hey you need to somehow wow i had four and these ones were empty so

Yeah that tick accelerator is really uh really doing the work this thing is out of saplings for now which is quite fine honestly uh you can go into there though for now uh actually in the battani area honestly all right so we now have automated quartz and rich iron which we’re up to

Just over four stacks we’ve automated silver production uh gold would be the next best step which is why i went to automatic glowstone first because gold is glowstone in 10. so invar and far i think i’m going to have on auto craft actually so here let’s go here

Um induction smelters need invar gears though that can be a recipe now processing of this stuff is induction smelter two iron and a nickel uh just go ahead and order that so it doesn’t get confused on the fact that the nickel is not exactly what it’s expecting

It can happen sometimes here you guys can go away you you get the gear and the processing pattern will go into a crafter over the top of one of my induction smelters here uh you are currently set up to have nothing else going on okay face you down

One two three yeah i figured i was gonna be short 324 quarts from iron though i mean it is adding up quick which is the other reason why i wanted to put a limit on it i didn’t want it running forever currently though our glass production should be

Doing better i should probably get some overclockers in those though i’m pretty sure i got glass set to hold infinite capacity which is up to a billion items if i’m playing back long enough that i reach a billion glass i’m too busy cooping off to actually complete it

All right and then this one i’m not sure i’m gonna do the metallurgic flux slot here is for things like sand and then i wonder if sultan would work there that’s an idea that’s solarium about like sand cinnabar slag all that stuff hey i got some dirt how we doing over here you’re

You stopped running for now right i put some limited item filters in these machines though only keeping a single lapis in stock now that way i don’t have two stacks sitting here doing nothing and not a problem there so i just need more polish diorite which unfortunately uh this is the

Crafting recipe i’ve been using i can turn andesite to die right okay i can igneous extrude it by getting water to the extruder i have water right here don’t i yes i do i got power right here i’ve got an igneous extruder do you have any lava

No okay uh magnus extruder actually is upstairs still okay now you were oh yeah remain her recipe here you go in there before i forget about you again but now i should be able to autocraft induction smelters without an issue i want to have one per a thing i’m going

To be mass producing which honestly eventually might be uh might be empire that’s how much i’m going to need by endgame when you’re still doing your sulfur thing so i don’t have any furnaces out here yeah i need to move some stuff around i think

Let me just maybe set that up as an actual recipe heated to a blue transposer transposer pulls the lava out of the bucket and you know everybody wins all right so you hey you’re currently set to input from no sides input or output for no sides okay i can live with that here

You go there and you want polish diorite i can work with that input on the left there’s our water cobblestone stone obsidian granite diorite sweet easy enough and i guess give me one of my crafters again uh one of these am i lava now too i like this one

Here you’re gonna start making me right you are going to one two three four diary can you not pull from that inventory that is odd eight polished iris so far not bad and then uh you are inserting on brown right here you can also extract on brown

Have it coming from this uh there’s a drawer right here that’s supposed to be holding polished diorite so yeah that might be producing faster so we’re going to instead do this here you you don’t do anything vector green insert on green start shunting all your stuff down the conveyor belt it’ll go

Into the drawer and then automatically go into here once it hits system so all right only five seconds and this thing will kick on here it goes a little quicker than i thought actually so because yeah that is actually still kind of slow which i’m not gonna bother

Speeding this machine up either because it’s just gonna sit here and run the background there’s no point making it run blazingly fast and you know in this case burning through all my damn gold because that’s what’s happening speaking of which can i get my induction smelter go

Where are you oh no not you where did my did it glitch to the conveyor and like go like get picked up and moved in there is that what happened uh yeah exactly what happened all right cool uh input up top output out the bottom unlock this slot now gold is 10 and

Glowstone let’s grab this detector here give ourselves a glow gold almost like lod uh yes let’s see and ten you are going to be set here for gold let’s say 1 000 that’s a good number right i need an exporter one of these start go there we go

You i had two on me still uh you’re going to export gold and close no not gold dang it 10 glowstone that out here and okay now we have gold production automated as well which i mean it doesn’t look terrible right there but i don’t know i mean i guess there are

Like refined forged refined storage facades i could throw up there honestly most of what i’m doing with conduits i could just do with refined storage importers exporters interfaces the whole nine yards we just get a little bit cramped in a few spots because unlike applied energistics you

Can’t put two of these in the same block space it’s not the end of the world but uh yeah all right so what’s our power use up to now anyway 1200 okay we’re still short of the 1400 max we have going on right now so not terrible it’ll spike higher when i’m

Actually doing crafting but it shouldn’t be too much of an issue i’ll get around to that eventually let’s think about dark corners like i don’t feel like doing that right now that’ll be like an episode in and of itself uh one thing i want to check into though

Is mineral wow i got caps lock on a mineral resin in a smell tree is water and redstone slurry redstone slurry is only made by smelting redstone yeah and a front and a smell tree right so can i have like a 10 redstone for now

I’m not sure how much of this i’m going to be doing honestly but i do know i want a mechanical squeezer from integrated dynamics so all right we got two blocks of mineral resins that means i need this i need that you can go here for now you can go here

Pour that off and so a 30 redstone for this one i just want to get a bit of a stockpile blocks going up actually there we go that works is greater than 41 in gets a mineral resin in there i don’t think i can make i mean get out of this stuff

All right so squeezer this thing right here what do i have here i have obsidian okay i don’t have a block iron okay make a bunch of sticks now and i’m going to cook up another diamond too aren’t i all right i’ll get around to that in a second

We’re going to need actually 12 of these so i’m going to need one more block of crystallized mineral there we go and Block redstone times two please okay all right can i get a stack of coal uh let’s see each point and a single brick now that’s actually probably dead center probably that machine blocking the middle behind the fences almost so you have to take this already

Where is it no no it’s that spot there cool well that was easy we can take accelerate the crusher awesome oh you’ve got the rod mold on you don’t you press call plus brick now let’s try not throwing it at my feet this time there’s that i just need some lapis

I’ve already have three stacks on so so this thing then i think would be here to take accelerate honestly it on that one at least it’s the block that you click to uh to form the multi block all right mechanical squeezer go done now because i’m doing this because i want sugar

I want it to be as efficient as possible you get more sugar and 50 chance of getting one more out of this thing so here let’s uh it’s processing okay cool click it over to here that we’re just going to click that one out of there

And can i get like 30 more patterns started let’s go ahead and just look you down like right here wow uh yeah i really missed didn’t i hey there we go and you get your recipe there now the only downside of this one is it does not

A have power hooked up and b doesn’t automatically export to the underside like thermal machines do so then you can do the insert there i conduit please something else i need to get taught and there’s just a lot of things i need to get taught okay now can i have some

Say sugar right available 32 sugar cane give me basically two stacks of sugar and things have happened i think mechanical squeezers are cited unfortunately all right uh let’s check this out yeah okay i’m putting the top and the sides i think you have to extract extract out the bottom

Because it wasn’t touching the sugar that was there so on that note i want to get some flat transfer notes all right one of you guys animal please say three of you i need one of you there you go what we’re going to do okay come here

Now as i say on this hold left control while placing to reverse push pull there we go there it goes now uh just give me some cane like half stack here this needs to just go away adam conduit it pulled everything out before i had a chance to just squeeze didn’t it

But the plant transfer node is working it’s not the past just find you but how many other transfer methods can like squish between that tiny little space between blocks i mean i mean we do have actually additions in the back i could have done like a phantom pace but that’s just getting overly

Complicated at this point in time and this thing can hold up to four stacks of sugar so it’s gonna slowly release it into the system what other like what the recipes can i get going here bone into bone meal if i had a bone farm anyway

That’s a great way to get dyes remember that turn wool into string glass into sand polarized coal okay honey into propolis which you’re on propolis through oh actually it’s not in this pack and a custom recipe that i was thinking of whoops uh seed oil which moves faster than the uh oyster

Squeezer does a better cactus green but also produces water out of it turns blaze powder into lava uh let’s see anything else uh prismarine into prismarine crystals that’s actually probably a decent one i want to use sea lanterns that’ll that’ll be the way i get the uh the

Prismarine i think right oh that there’s several ways okay now can i take accelerate this one no it doesn’t so as long as since i attached to this block if i accelerated it if it would uh pick up the pace of the flight transfer node it doesn’t look like it does

I’m looking on polish die right now and four stacks okay i have one block left in here okay and mineral blocks actually don’t look all that bad either so i think i’m going ahead and call this an episode um i’d filter saw me too whenever i made another one oops

But i’ve got a few things to do like i need to teach a bunch of recipes probably by the time next episode rolls around this is going to be completely full and i’ll have made more crafters actually that’s not a bad idea let’s go ahead and get some of those kicked off
