It’s functional and i did improve on your design a little bit awesome it’s a great farm it is a great farm yeah it’s got an extremely large amount of potential so yeah um now you know you you remember my valley trap and how i how i love to use water streams everyone

Oh yeah yep well um i definitely use them for something i i haven’t decided if it’s the most effective way to do it yet but it’s definitely something with a lot of room for improvement improvement also the thing is with the waterfall i was more about showing the basics the principle

You know i’m never that the guy who basically does the super efficient designs yeah i like to do the basic research and then like if people even improve designs it’s amazing i love it it’s yeah people pick up the idea i’m happy that you did it it’s really cool

Basically just flow out two spots and then they hit then they hit that wall go straight down and there’s a going to be a collection stream underneath this up we can actually you know what it’s not going to hurt us no let’s jump in yeah it sucks them out it makes them fall

Down quicker ah and you bring into the middle here yep very nice design yeah nice little quick tunnel to get to the end yeah oh very nice once you get to the end i do have the setup so that you can um have the have the items go through an extra spot where

They go down here to to the nether portal yes that is ice that is ice blocks down there so they’re going to fly into that portal that’s so sweet and of course a creeper get out here that nice makes you nervous um oh now what was i i just left torches

In there too i definitely heard it i like it a lot and what where was i gonna why are you having these glass towels here to to check out the area to like what i’m actually gonna do is i’m actually gonna um instead of just lighting the place up i’m actually gonna um

Put grooves throughout the ground yeah every 16 blocks so that even if if i don’t light up everything perfectly and i just fell in again uh 50 of the time it’ll be 100 effective whenever it’s daylight out yeah that’s plan at least yeah so um perimeter you know we started with the

Platforms in the nether and yeah yeah in the nether but it’s always like we should get together as a group and kind of prepare the perimeter in the in the nether if we have a uh with the skeleton slash blaze slash everything farm in there we’re set

You can even use that as an xp farm the nether grinder it’s also oh of course yeah and if that thing runs on full potential the witch farm you also said man yeah and of course i have the way i have it set up right now you can use a looting

Sword on it so it’s it is it is pretty effective now we did start lighting it up today for the um for the for the caves but um as you can see i i got the uh x-ray machine right here oh yeah let’s have a look

Oh actually let me let you take the look because obviously you’re recording and i’ve seen it so um we have barely touched the actual cage oh yeah over there i see there is a lot to go yeah and now the grooves now if you if you actually look at the trap itself the

Glass that’s surrounding it um yeah it could yeah i’m sorry you’re still looking there um the grooves that are surrounding it these are actually grooves that go straight to bedrock uh this is what i was planning on doing for the all the glass is going to be doing basically

With like platforms and mobs walking off and water streams and stuff yeah those things yeah but if you used high efficiency piston traps like we do like for example in the end it would still be like really good yeah but that’s like at the end where basically everything

Spawns at the exact same height and spawns like absolutely crazy yeah perhaps are awesome yeah and also the piston traps yeah i know the piston traps do work pretty good i just they still do yeah like them i’ve never really liked them so i’m just

Avoiding them no like i also say if you have a nicely working witch farm you don’t need a regular mop farm exactly because the main thing that you want to use a bob farm is to get gunpowder yeah and okay you know here you can get redstone that is something glowstone yeah

I mean glowstone i can live with that because it’s just annoying to get it for the red stone i always like to mine it and yeah but it was no problem to mine it because you always got so much redstone that is the thing if you went down with

A fortune pick x by now redstone was not rare anymore so right i think it’s also fine to farm it yeah yeah because some people were discussing about the that you know about how much it breaks breaks things yeah i mean it’s it doesn’t really break all that much to

Know you farm these things no no but yeah that’s basically what i got set up right now awesome man i wish we should did you see some spawns already if you step back a bit oh yeah yeah yeah they’re definitely spawning cool uh if

You uh that’s why i got this set up back here on the actual area back here around where the portal is and all that stuff that’s actually just a good distance away i mean the stream ends at 16 away from the from the farthest point so so here we

Have to stand around here it’s it’s either around here a little bit yeah it’s around here okay because um i think this is around the exact same point where they stop so yeah this is about 16 blocks away right here let’s stare at it with f3 oh i can see

Two entities but that can be anything yeah that can really be you can actually see them showing up inside it because their their hats stick right out of it it just kind of funny i was gonna remove this anyways we can actually just watch them if they show up okey dokey just realized

My recording failed hard drive was full at the moment i say okay let’s see if we can get some witches and we didn’t realize and kept on talking for 25 minutes nothing happened no so yeah we actually got some witches spawn in the meantime and we’re super excited about it

Yeah it should work yeah we actually had about three or four different spawns of them which i know doesn’t sound like much right now but that just it’s basically just a proof of concept at the moment the cool thing is as there are completely normal mobs all the rules

Apply so pack spawning actually takes place and that is really nice so if you get a spawn there’s the chances are high you get maybe three two three right right you know right at the same time exactly yeah just like whenever you get a creeper you you don’t get one

Creeper you get its whole family thank you yeah um now what what we’re gonna review a few things that we said before but one of the things that um oh and there’s some witches right there oh yeah this does show their height difference um you can actually see their

Hats sticking out like you like a doc said last time they got a 2.5 height differently so you can see them coming down the line see how many it is it’s one two looks like two okay i’m gonna load them yep go for it that’s what they’re doing

Oh they dropped the potion red drop rate drop that’s i’ve only got the healing potion so far it’s a potion of instant health yeah portion of healing yeah if that’s the only ones i’ve gotten so far right here by the way this is the one that for collecting their drops

Just so i can see what’s been showing up the only thing that i have four and i think i got um four pieces of redstone as well from that other one so that’s what we got pretty cool man yeah and the looting now really works nicely yeah if you have looting you can

Definitely improve the drop rates of the rare drops i mean i’ve i’ve killed a bunch of witches and never got um like a potion from him so oh that’s cool it’s really an eso yesterday we needed to see how two days ago when he was farming for

With the skellies he was getting them like crazy with the with the looting oh yeah because you can get like what like three two three or four at the same time right oh there’s another one oh another one you didn’t even see him come down the

Line i think it was the one from before whoa it dropped two two potions wow i did it no it was empty bottles but it looked like potions but no it was empty bottles i think well that’s all right that’s still useful too now one thing i was telling telling doc

Last time is uh you the the way that i found this place was actually kind of interesting um the reason that i was if you if you in the f3 this actually shows up is only about it doesn’t show up in the 10 000 range this is in a 4300 range

And the only reason i was able to find this because i used the minecraft map that everyone can use yeah and i found some dead areas in the forks on the road where people just started sailing off into the blue yeah and um i used those areas in a single player

World to fight to fight to see which ones actually had swamps in them and found this spot came and came into the minecraft world and lo and behold we got a witch farm it’s really cool yeah so basically and the only reason that we i never mentioned

That before is because i didn’t want people um using that really filling everything in yep i see them it whatever already it already works okay-ish i mean if you would stand around here afking for hours yeah you could already get some stuff from here unfortunately right now you would start

To get a lot of slimes on the surface though yeah um right now the surface is basically there’s nothing to prevent any any spawns at all um in fact it’s actually kind of ideal for spawns at the moment so synthetics i hate that i mean you could use looting three to get sticks

That’s great the most pointless thing that a witch can drop he drops glowstone redstone gunpowder and sticks come on unlimited torches torches i love it so yeah that’s working so dude i know it’s late for you now so i should get going it must be in the middle of the night

Like uh 319 yeah if you if you go caving around here or if you need any help just call me up i’m there yeah i’m really excited did a little bit earlier yeah i would be um cool we have that thing fully up and running here on the server

Yep the sooner the better yeah especially with the glowstone you know i just hate glowstone mining i can’t help it i don’t like it the risk of sitting over the top of that lava to to to get that one glowy block yep yeah and these things are basically lantern maker

Uh producers too because they will give you the glow stone and they’ll give you the redstone dust to make a lantern yeah which is just kind of cool so yeah i like it it’s really cool we started it i have to have a last look bye bye witch farm i’ll be back

I need to work on the iron golem farm it’s also such a huge project yeah why does everything have to be huge projects because it’s minecraft i know if it wasn’t huge it wouldn’t be worth it that’s true all right thanks man thanks a lot for showing me it’s awesome

Know as anders and i are here in europe and team nancy drew for example based in canada usa they often kind of arrange their playing times again and it’s hard for us to get into the chivalry matches with them together just time issues good is very

Busy at the moment so at least i think i can arrange some recording with andre zell this afternoon and i’m really looking forward to do that because yeah you know he’s pro with the fps games that he’s competitive and i like to play chivalry as well battle there a bit so yeah

I have my free weekend my girlfriend granted me that so i can there’s one down here so i can play a little bit and yeah i’m trying to get some videos done trying to play a bit and on monday hopefully the internet service provider will finally be able to

Switch my connection to the new place so i can finally move my computer and everything over there at the moment that’s the only hold up like we’re set and done we’re ready to go um three quarters of our stuff is already moved and i’m sitting back here at the old

Apartment with rudimentary equipment you know survival style sleeping bag and all and waiting for the internet service provider to switch the connection because i messed it up as i told you in the last episode so when that is done everything should be back to normal and i can relax more and that’s it
