How’s it going everybody it’s your boy welcome back to minecraft survival in this episode of the series we’re going to build a big automatic help farm inside of a huge awesome looking tower if that sounds cool to you smash like and subscribe i hope you enjoy the Episode legally i can’t lie i’m nervous right now i’m like really really nervous you see we’ve only built one tower in this entire world and haha that’s funny if you know what i’m saying we’ve never built a single tower in this entire world but cows your day has come the Glory is the moment look at you you’re so excited you don’t know where to look you look both directions at once a home a glorious home for you to call no no it’s not for you i’m gonna build a tower and you get to look at it though That’s pretty cool today at along last we will be building officially tower number one of this entire world now not only is this tower the first tower of the world this is also a very important tower it’s sitting square front and center in front of the elder this tower Needs to be good in order to make sure this tower actually ends up looking good i’ve done a little bit of pre-game analysis here i’m thinking nine by nine we build a nine by nine tower right here i put what i’m gonna put inside of it inside of it of course And it should look good and the scale of it like in relation to this big building that we’re gonna attach it to uh i think it’ll make sense ah but yes welcome back to the survival series everybody i hope you’re doing well today’s episode has a lot in store a Little bit of everything we’ll be working on building in this episode we’ll be working on farming in today’s episode and farming something kind of relatively new today’s episode might be the very first time i’ve ever made a kelp farm in survival or if i’m forgetting about something Awkwardly which to be fair i probably am you know how it can be sometimes then at least this will be my most productive kelp farm that i’ve ever built in survival minecraft we’ll also be doing a bit of redstone here today too it’ll be good but before i can do any of that Stuff we need to get the base of the tower in the base needs to be strong i’m excited to announce that it’s coming out of retirement as you can see obviously grimstone sweet grimstone it’s out of retirement going into retirement soon will actually be this building we’ll be Using the farms inside of it of course for other things but we will probably not be expanding it very much after this point the tower is kind of like the final piece of the building at least for now base of the tower needs to be sturdy And strong at the same time and we’re looking for sturdy and strong we’re talking about cobblestone and we’re talking about deep sleep two of the absolute finest prime is stone delicacies to ever exist in the entire universe uh yeah that was like a really fancy way To say that we’re going to start the tower with stone we started strong with stone mossy cobblestone i wish i could put you in there but the vine farm the old swede vine farm i don’t even want to think about it ah we’ll have to get around to building a New one of those soon so anyways the inside of the build i like steps i think stepping up in this part of the build is gonna look really really good i feel like if you have a build that is a little bit more intricate like this one Where we have you know like different pieces we have this hallway with the center everything like that and we can like step up maybe step down things like that it instantly takes the build from like an okay spot to like like we’re talking about average at the lace for sure so Definitely 100 step up now there’s gonna be a lower part of this tower down there in the lower part of it well in the lower part we’ll say there will be something top secret i can’t talk about it staircase right there floor right here is birch floor so That’s the thing we’ll already be using a lot of wood on this build which brings me to the preparations that i did before this episode so to prepare for this wonderful gigantic tower that will be using a lot of oak wood probably the most oak wood that i’ve ever used aside From building those things i chopped down no trees i took my shovel it took my tree axe took anything that you would use to chop down wood you know and i did nothing i did not prepare for this episode and i probably should have prepared for this episode because that Would make this next part a whole lot easier so what i want to do for this next part of the build is uh keep it tower like so we have to keep it in line here but i also need to pop things out i’m no expert tower builder quite yet But i do know that if we leave everything flat and like don’t pop a single thing out the tower will look horrendous it won’t even look like a tower it’ll look despicable embarrassing really really bad and uh quite frankly i don’t feel like getting made fun of down Below so we need to pop things off of the tower to pop things off of the tower i’m thinking what thinking a little bit like logistically here what isn’t like that heavy or at least we’re going to say what is not like that heavy but it gets even Better on these fancy wood pop out things trap doors spruce trap doors so you know what i was just talking about like preparing for this episode doing nothing well yeah when i said nothing i literally meant nothing i didn’t even chop down spruce trees i don’t think i even have spruce Saplings over here i had one small sapling yikes so anyways this tower this tower is gonna have double kelp farms i’m thinking one unit like a tall unit on that side going really high up maybe we have like 16 tiles of kelp farms and then same thing on the other side this Is kind of like the front or the back of the tower kind of like the outside of the build so i’m thinking big grand glass window the big grand glass window will look over at that build that build the prisoner over there oh yeah and of course because we’re adding on to this Build the inside of this part of the build is gonna have to change i’m gonna have to pull stuff out maybe do something like that uh definitely pull the windows out and maybe just pull like a solid wall or something i’m not too sure and there is this whole question that i Had like a million years ago about what i put up there it’s going to be a war mural i think it’s finally time that we get that in in today’s episode so i’m nervous about today’s project for a couple different reasons reason number one it’s a tower reason number two Um redstone kind of takes up room that’s the problem with redstone like it takes up space and sometimes it’s hard to make it like you know look good and not be too cramped on the inside i don’t know if this is gonna work i’m choosing blocks for the redstone that Will hopefully look good so will hopefully work i think we’re gonna leave the redstone exposed i think what i’m gonna do is put the machines in and then from the outside we’ll be able to see the redstone it’s a little weird sounding it’s a little weird and i i don’t know if it’s Gonna work and if it doesn’t work don’t judge me but i think we’re gonna try it all right so far i mean it’s not much but i mean so far so good i would say the tower kind of makes sense definitely needs mossy cobblestone down there missing a staircase too But it’s so far so good it’s redstone time nether quartz you’re coming with me i’ve got to try this out before i get too far into the build i want to make sure the build is you know actually going to kind of like at least look halfway decent Cab sweet cab i know you’re lonely over here i know i know i know i know terrible i’ll get your friend soon and back up over to the ship because i forgot something i mean come on we’re not peasants here we can’t plant the kelp on literal dirt we’re gonna need Coarse dirt to plant the cup all right so let’s see if we can pull this off this is the back of the farm then we take out the floor right here those two blocks and we plant kelp there and calc right there then we do a piston piston that’s gonna harvest the whole Farm then we jump up over here and we do an observer looking forward automatic automatic right there then redstone dust redstone dust and then the top of the farm the top of the unit goes right there then what i’m thinking over here is basically we drop everything down Into a barrel with a hopper on top of it that’ll pick everything up uh-huh uh-huh that should work only problem is water spills everywhere problem solved defense gate fence gate right there open them up they’re like invisible but they stop the water then all we need to do is keep the Water inside of the thing to keep the water inside of it i’m thinking trap doors you see once we get higher up on this build and we’re not really like walking in the room uh we could use like a solid block right there might be a little bit more efficient to be honest Kelp might end up getting thrown through the trap door well like down low on this like first layer at least aesthetics are important i want to be able to walk into this thing and not feel like cramped you know because if we were to do a solid Block we’d have solid block there and there and then it’s a one wide hallway ah this is disgusting no way no way so we can’t do that then on the inside right here i guess we could just use first logs like we could do spruce logs going Straight up maybe strip them maybe leave them alone that should hold everything in uh i’m no scientist but i think that’ll work i think that’s it i’m pretty sure that’s it one of the most satisfying things about this game is when you get something like done even even if it is something like Really really simple but like you figure out a farm and it seems like it’ll all work it’s one of the best feelings ever that’s one of the reasons why i love farming you figure it out and it just it just feels great all right then uh It is the tricky part so this is the outside wall obviously this is the wall that i was talking about like leaving exposed and everything we need to figure out how we can like blend this upwards so uh what we’re gonna do is this will be the top of the Farm which means i think essentially the next tile would start like right here uh because we have like flowing water to move the kelp over to there yeah i think that’s where the next tile starts so basically i think what we do is fill that in and essentially start it Again so that would be blocks right there then we do pistons and you know like loop it all over again the big question here is what do we do in the outside wall to make this look good um It’s a good question me it’s a good question we could maybe do something like that you know kind of like box it in i don’t know if that’s gonna look good or work but ah let’s go for it let’s go for it we’ll try that out All right so i think i have everything set up there shouldn’t be any water problems inside of here we put a water source in front of the observer then i think what we do is we do another one right there so that’s like where the kelp grows and then on top to Move the kelp over uh what we do is a water source sitting right there flowing over that way when all the kelp is harvested from this thing it should float up eventually and then we moved over dropped right there and then fall straight down get picked up and put inside of the barrel I think that should work i’m like pretty sure 95 sure this farm is gonna run and it’s gonna run perfectly all i need to do is maybe get another tile of this thing in so like another story and then take a look at it from the outside because the big Question is does it actually look good it needs to look good now that i think about it maybe i could drop it down the middle uh but i kind of like the system this is more kelp so then this one goes over there we’ll get clogged a lot less farms Getting clogged that might be a problem around here Well there goes nothing big reveal from the outside three two one thoughts what do you think here it is do you think this is gonna work do you not think it’s gonna work if i’m answering that question i think this has potential i’m not fully sold yet but i think it Definitely has potential if we’re gonna do this and i i do wanna try it but if we’re gonna do this we need to repeat it i think at least one more section so basically uh what we do is we take that as that’s one section four of them and Then we do it again so we end up with eight on one side it’ll make the tower like twice as tall there then we could maybe think about putting the roof on the tower way up there sharp steep roof i’m thinking but this section what do you think without cheating don’t Skip to the end of the video don’t even look at the thumbnail or anything like that do you think we’re gonna keep it what do you think but problem so as suspected the trap doors i mean the trapdoors work like they keep it open inside of here but also as you can see Right there kelp inside of my inventory kelp is getting shot outside of the trapdoors like right through them because they’re so thin so what i’m gonna do is up here i built a ceiling then i think on the higher part of the tower i’m probably just going to block Stuff in i don’t know what blocks i’m going to use quite yet i could do glass but also i don’t think i’ll ever be up here but solid blocks i think if i put solid blocks on the tower right here then i do the whole kelp thing down below We should be good if i’m gonna tile this section of the tower over again though i’m gonna need to come up with a new separation thing like a new border what i did down there worked but the situation the circumstances are a little bit different this time i’m thinking Maybe what we could do is try and create some kind of like um almost make it look like these are windows or something so we do like a little arch in there i think that’ll look cool then maybe we could do i don’t know like a trapdoor over there continue The arch down maybe a log like that maybe a trap door on front of that make a little bit of depth there and then maybe on top of this ah another trapdoor i mean i don’t know i like trapped doors then we could probably continue this up with oak logs right there um Maybe staircases take those lugs out get the right ones in there and we’ll strip those and then basically start this whole thing over again so that’ll move up but then we have extra space so let’s see maybe trap doors there that could look cool too also you know what because Why not we hide lighting right there i think it’ll come out through the trap doors so maybe at like night time there’ll be a little bit of a glow i think that’ll look nice at this point today i think i’ve got it all figured out my only big handicap in this project is Logs i seriously should have considered maybe farming some logs before the episode i really didn’t realize how much wood i was gonna use didn’t think the tower was going to be this tall so back and forth to the tree farm for me Always looking like a tower most certainly a tower absolutely no mistaking it is looking like a tower for sure so things are going well that’s for sure this tower so far is absolutely looking like a tower but the the final part there are a few things that i’m unsure about like that Wall right there and the final part it all comes down to this part right here so far this is easy it’s a straight line coming out of the ground it all depends on how we end this tower put it short if i mess up it will look Wrong it will look very wrong tower will go from tower to well something else it will look wrong i’ve got to admit i’m having a little bit of trouble with some aspects of the build at this point though so the front window the glass that’s pretty straightforward it’s like literally Glass we just put glass in here that’ll look good i thought about dyeing it maybe like lime or something like that but i want the build to like look as good as possible and as normal as possible i think good and normal is probably solid glass blocks we have to Use the solid blocks because the kelp gets thrown out here and sometimes like right there when it gets thrown out it gets thrown out really really quick and basically if it gets thrown out of this thing really quick and there’s a small ledge because the glass pane is ruined It’s all ruined and it was pointless it wouldn’t work we need it to work so solid glass blocks it is the top of the tower the top of the tower the top of the tower this is really important and i kind of lost it i don’t know what to do I guess uh what i was thinking my first move is like continue what i did on that lower middle section i mean that looked nice and it made sense but then like the roof of this thing how do i do it i think i want to shape It and make it like you know like a steep uh triangle spike thing with fully visible blocks yes fully visible blocks like that you know tall spike thing so probably i guess something like that but is how do i do it and and not make it Look weird and then also this back wall this back wall is weird definitely not a window wall for sure the only thing that i can think of is maybe like white wool that could look really really nice but small problem it’s gonna be flat this is gonna be Really really flat and you know from like anywhere in the base looking at this wall it’s gonna be a gigantic eyesore so i’m gonna need to come up with something i was thinking maybe what i could do is like i don’t know i guess like pop this Out somehow like maybe do a small detail with this make the tower blend into this a little bit but at the same time it’s not like a neck and so it shouldn’t like bend and end up looking like a giraffe uh questions questions i have so many Questions and i have so few answers don’t get me wrong build is going good but this is the important part just make or break quite literally make or break start strong start strong something simple just like this right here make or break staircases are always great they’re always reliable they’re great They’re detailed finish the glass right in here and make it look great but we need more absolutely 100 we can’t stop here we need more leaving it like this simply put it it just wouldn’t cut it it wouldn’t cut it at all stone breaks stone breaks the old reliable stone Bricks they look great we use stone bricks and the rest of the build this part of the building needs to have stone brick somewhere it is simply a legal requirement but no no i think it’s looking too tall we can’t have it too bulky at the top if it’s too bulky top Heavy it makes literally zero logical sense wrong wrong wrong right right right that’s more like him don’t break sweet friends stone bricks come back and come back i took you out too soon i liked this i liked where it was going but it’s the top of the tower the pinnacle that Needs detail it needs more cracked bricks maybe here here there and there yes yes yes right there yes yes yes yes it’s all going as planned so far so good but still we must finish strong the bulk of the build the bulk of the roof the wood and no it’s Not just wood this time this is not just wood there’s more oh there’s more there’s gonna be more definitely for sure there’s more slap a couple of drop doors on there maybe fences as well an immaculate detailing combination up on the top of the build to make it a little bit more Spiky spikes always add to the thing for sure and just like that poop out of thin air we have the build and not only do we have the build we have the tower and a tower that that not only looks like a tower but but only looks like a tower Too i think i’ve mastered it the art of building a tower it’s right here and the tower is fully functional as well and i didn’t even have to look at one single picture of big ben because i had no clue what to do with the top of the build didn’t make it Look right no not even once i don’t know where you got that idea i can’t believe it though i i genuinely can’t believe it i think this is my favorite tower that i’ve ever built it looks strong sturdy and it’s a redstone machine with redstone exposed which is Cool looking that’s gonna light up and it has been lighting up every once in a while when it works i’m so sorry like i i really am i’m freaking out about the building right now because i’ve spent like hours on this thing i was unsure about the whole thing And it actually worked out the the tower it actually looks like a tower in only a tower this is the best tower in the entire world i will admit that i should probably do something in that circle though like mostly cobblestone or something maybe even a window but it’s Fine that’s fine just look at the top of the tower aside from things that are literally floating in the air i’m pretty sure this is now the tallest build in this entire world like like it’s not even close i mean if you start at the Bottom right there and go all the way up like not even close this is the tallest build in the entire world the elder is not pleased about that ah well anyways we’ve done it after a long bit of working we’ve finally done it the build today is fully finished now This farm has been running for a while you’re probably wondering to yourself maybe the entire episode waddles what are you doing with all of the scalp like what’s going on well i don’t have to tell you let me just show you right here we have a smoker inside of the Smoker goes to the kelp and a little bit of coal except eventually i’ll go back over to the nether and get a bunch of blaze rods so we’ll put blaze rod inside of the furnace instead of cold but same plan basically to melt this up into dried kelp and then There we go yup you heard it here first brand new type of food that we’ll be eating as their main food source in this in this world for the rest of the series yeah ah yeah no just kidding that that would be insane that was an absolute lie This block right here dried kelp block i think dried kelp block might be an interesting building block definitely on a roof like imagine this thing as a roof of a build or maybe like an interesting checkered floor pattern on a build it’s a brand new building block and a block That we get literally for free while we’re at the base and of course the whole goal of the series farm literally everything this is one more gigantic step for us oh yeah out front of the build i finally did some terraforming too i made a little wall right there i Think that looks nice adds to the bills it’s basically finished after all and then small garden over here tons of flowering bushes flowers yellow flowers pink flowers flowers all over the place i think it’s really nice the final thing that i need to get in over here oh yeah That’s a well the final thing i need to get in over here is a path now this is an anti-climactic moment uh this will not be the main path over here this is only the path for now i’ve been putting a lot of thought into what kind of path Design i want to do over here and i can’t figure it out but i know that for certain there is no reason at all that this isn’t connected by a path anymore so we change it it all changes right here i think the path goes out this way And goes over to a build that doesn’t exist yet the path 100 goes over this way and connects up to a path that definitely does currently exist and then of course the path also goes straight down this way right past the aquarium over to this spot where eventually there Will be a million and more builds that’s it for this episode thanks for watching everybody i hope you enjoyed it
