What’s up guys and welcome back to wbc builds now i don’t know about you but i’ve just finished binge watching blind manor over on netflix that’s why their new horror series has just come out last week and it got me inspired inspired to build the manor house from it And bring it into minecraft and show you guys how i did that now my first steps in actually building this place was to try and find out whether it was a real building or not so i did a little google search and it came up sort of saying no one Really knows where it is and whether it’s a real house or not there was rumors going around saying it was cgi and i can tell you for one thing it’s definitely not a real life manor house in england uh that is for sure so what actually happened was we discovered That it’s actually a building over in washington state and there were some rumors about it being this one as well and this house is known as fawn wood castle the interesting fact about this is it was actually brought over pretty much brick by brick from england in the early 20th century By a man who had just bought a manor house over in england and he wanted it shipped across to washington state yes so this house has been moved from europe all the way around the other side of america before the panama canal was actually built as well which is quite an Interesting little fact there anyway enough of that so i decided to build it in minecraft and i had a really good time doing it so the color palette i went for was actually jungle planks rather than bricks because i felt jungle planks give it this really nice a sort of light Orange color which is very much more similar to a sort of tudor brick than we would get from using normal bricks so not only did i actually build the house i went round and did all the landscaping as well so this little chapel here is part of the series And it acts as another little building that they go into adds another level of spookiness to the actual overall landscape i thought about adding a little graveyard here as well just to help build upon that halloween feel now i actually also went around and did the Only bit of garden we get to see in the series which is the main driveway here along with this small little formal garden mirrored across the driveway but once i start getting all these trees in and start putting all the greenery around the building starts to come to Life we’ve got the vines going on the front of the house here which gives it that used gives it that old feel to it which i really think complement the jungle planks really well so it’s time to go around and add the last little touches to the landscape If you’ve seen the series you’ll understand what the lake is all about not going to ruin that for anyone that hasn’t watched it yet but guys go watch it it’s a really good series uh i really enjoyed it the first one a haunting of hill house i Think i may actually have to go away and start building that one as well as i’ve just started re-watching that series so the back of the building here like i mentioned is from the real life house rather than the one in the series but anyway guys coming up now is a Cinematic showing off this landscape and also the house so stick around for that but anyway guys remember get inspired get building and i’ll see you next time So You Video Information

Check out my recreate of Bly Manor from “The Haunting of Bly Manor” in Minecraft. This timelapse build began life after I binged through the new Netflix horror series of from the same director as “The Haunting of Hill House” and had to find the real life inspiration for the house. As it so happens the real life manor house isn’t based in the UK but is located in Washington State in the USA. The house used in Bly manor has had CGI works done to it but it still resembles the base house of “Thornewood Castle” although it’s not yet been confirmed that this is the Bly Manor location or not.
I hope you enjoy this little Minecraft timelapse build and cinematic. I am planning on doing some more of these videos in the future to tie in with Halloween and current spooky season. So let me know if you have any Minecraft building ideas for any Halloween Minecraft builds.
I don’t know if anyone would be interested, but I have now added my Bly Manor recreation as a downloadable file over on it’s PMC page https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/bly-manor/
