being in the present of my friends and family awkward cuz I wasn’t there but okay um so Chun clock everybody is a really cool data pack Uh very quickly to explain what chunk lock is if you missed the last live stream chunk lock is a data pack where basically the entire world uh is divided up into chunks if you didn’t know in Minecraft um it is 16 blocks by 16 blocks then obviously covers the entire Y AIS of the game and in order to get access to these chunks we simply have to give it what it’s asking for so if I wanted to go into this one I’d have to give it one wooden fence and then you throw it at the wall and it opens up the Chunk so it basically just makes progress a bit slower and very specific to move around the world so in the last stream we managed to uh find an Overworld bit of lava which was a huge um time SA for us and then we’ve obviously got water we found some iron Made a bucket and through some chunk unlocking in the nether we finally found a fortress um and basically we need to farm up the rest of the uh uh the blaze rods that we need in order to get to the stronghold and that is kind of the goal Today is get the blaze rods get to the stronghold obviously unlocking a million chunks along the way and then basically uh do the dragon fight yeah we’re going to complete it today everybody this is it completed it mate completed it we’re going to be completed it um so yeah That’s all you need to know that is all you need to know we’re we’re trying to get all the way there we’re going to you got I’ve got zero we probably have like one last time we probably need to gear up a t oh wait I just saw a little bit Of lag now I remember why what was going on oh was it still lagging I upgraded the server Ram to like 8 gig so it shouldn’t be lag hopefully it’s fine um you want me to do a very quick server restart just to see whether that helps Cuz I haven’t restarted the server I reckon really quick to restart yeah yeah yeah okay cool let me do that I’ll Qui go on this screen but yeah hopefully today we complete it I think just before we go to the blaze spawner we maybe try maybe try find some more iron and gear Up maybe I mean I guess I mean I was already in the me just then so I could always just go ahead and farm the blaze rods whil you get a bunch of iron yeah yeah I’ll try find some iron yeah we’ll do that we can do that that’ll beine Right where is it my servers back it’s food we just got like no food where is it stop server oh there is a restart button s there it is yeah Yeah I reckon this is doable I reckon we can knock this out today I reckon we’ve got in it I Reon it yeah I think once you’ve got the direction opening up the chunks shouldn’t be too difficult cuz a lot of the chunks typically the chunks Have the stuff in the chunk that you need in order to open it so like if you need I don’t know like grass you’ll be in a biome that has grass and stuff like that um so we we’ll see loud my bab holy moly right Ser apparently I don’t Chuck chuck again come on Chuck we tried to do this uh before for those of you that don’t know we uh tried to play this during the jingle jam charity streams um and it was a bit of a goozy um we tried playing it before but then there was like people could donate X amount of money to charity in in order to add in basically like troll horrific guys give some love to Chuck in not um but it is this one let me mute the Christmas music right uh basically it’s actually this one um it is from this video is from anim magician don’t know if you know them very very Good uh video maker absolutely love it um they did a video on um uh the like series and the server and how you know it was a great idea and blah blah blah um really cool but they’ve made a video called Minecraft’s best server has an insane plan and I’m pretty sure it’s About hermitcraft season 10 um so I thought we’d give it a cheeky cheeky watch uh make sure you sub to Annie if you haven’t already and if this and see what it is because I I don’t even know the plan so well I don’t even know if the the hermit’s probably know the plan Herra season 10 is right around the corner and With de out 2 a multiversal crossover and fall of a king and so much more season 9 will be a tough season to beat in terms of just pure scale in the amount of insane things to happen but here’s the thing we actually know about what the homs are planning for season 10 And trust me it’s insane The Twist do we do we know because I I don’t know if we do do we do we so do I I don’t know if we do they’re planning to put on the server we know and love will shake things up so much Well let me explain right season 9 was already the longest running hermitcraft season ever and this has largely been a very 20 months good thing for the server despite the short-term benefits of a short season like season 8 for example with episodes jam-packed with cont content and interactions hcraft is great In that it can thrive in both long and short scenarios the sheer length this season is what allowed for massive project like decked out two underneath deep FR Citadel which I still think is perhaps the greatest survival build in all of Minecraft’s history it allowed for massive Prank Wars allows for the Escalation of those pranks a scale of covering the entire perimeter with landscaped grass and trees and I mean nothing in this scale would have been even remotely possible 8 or a seon in addition to this longer seasons are great for the Hermits because as we’ve seen in season 9 The allows for people Like iscal and Mumbo to take extended breaks from content creation to ReDiscover their passion and recover from I thought he was cycling now you’re telling me this man was just playing in a rocket got to be kidding me from burnout because of all of these things then I Think season 10 will likely be another long season and and becomes incredibly important for this next idea you see what I’m talking about is the idea of all of the Hermits all coming together and making one base that’s right just like the empires build and the crossover they’re actually planning to make one Highly collaborative project or area that would act similar to hermopolis from the Empire’s crossover Bon tried something similar to this in season 8 creating an Omega base but that was only with a few Hermits and they had encountered severe lag issues those issues were so bad in fact that I would Have never thought they would ever try something like again right why force yourself into a base that would be virtually unplayable and unwatchable is that especially since that look like what is this is this that look like the alley into a base that would be virtually un unwatchable for most people Especially since they already knew that this might happen because of the lag the BM generated in season 8 but then I saw this Reddit post and found this clip from scar stream I even have a plan like a a server wide plan for everybody but when the time comes they’ll hear it I’m Going to force you to tell me now it’s it’s basically uh creating bodm for the entire server yeah actually that’s something I I’ve always wanted to do starter areas are cool and having groups of bases are cool but like what if everyone just like lumped into the same Area it’s called The Country Road plan Zuma it’s code name Country Road and that sounds so cool the code name operation Country Road seems to imply that the way they’re going to combat the lag by spreading the parts of the mega base along a road creating a huge functional structure that allows each Hermit to bring their strength to a build and help to bring it to life while areas that might be weaker for some Hermits are made up by others imagine scarland but 10 times bigger and brought to life the genius of all the red sters on the server and all of that in Addition to what Cleo has already done with armor stands in Scar’s base and even apart from that just the fact that so many Hermits would actively be living inside the structure make it a stru change growing to fit hermit’s needs and once a country road musling with life and activity throughout its Length it’s even been mentioned in the past that one of the main reasons the idea for operation country road was so appealing to the hermit was because of the sheer speed at which things got done during the Empire’s collap having nearly two dozen Hermits working on a build Means that progress gets made quick especially when just one hermit make progress on this scale each episode nature of operation country road then and the fact that it probably wouldn’t take much longer than normal base would also allow them to brdge off after the Hermits have finished with that Omega Base to go back to doing what they might have done in a normal season what they might have planned for this plan was shown to them with activities like advancements from season 9 or the creation of more specialized systems still becoming an integral part of The Season’s Ventures later down the line Like industrial district or what notot this is why having a long season is so so important because the season is long and people are allowed to take breaks the idea of trying something this radically different of bringing together a server of people notorious for being well Hermits it is as daunting because If it isn’t working out they have the time and space to step away when they need to and to retry the message they knew were working for them a shorter season wouldn’t allow for this a shorter season stick the Hermits together and could force them to stay in a situation That didn’t work well do you guys prefer the longer Seasons or the shorter Seasons like what do you guys think what do you guys prefer the time they’ve already invested in it if you’re 3 months into a five Monon long season there’s really cuz you could definitely point out two things longer Like long series are absolutely incredible but also you think of short series like the life series stuff which is really short but I guess they’re two completely separate Concepts so yeah no point in trying to start something new’s bad I’m sure hey I wanted to go in there oh come on Man there’s also something else very interesting I found while researching this video that is looking through Reddit and old FS ready season 10 plans which is this red comment from the user random loud promotion paraphrase when the Hermits are all playing exum’s version of bedwars Because by the way Exuma did create bedwar they discussed the idea of having a fourth dimension on the server a place where the Hermits could have even more power in Creative tool like command blocks for example it would also basically be a way for the Hermits to fully unleash their creativity using the full extent of Vanilla Minecraft and more but without the need for them to do it on a completely different server or as part of a different series like has been done with the create mod in the past now the reason I didn’t mention this earlier is because well I can’t really verify That any of this is true like going down to the B of this comment references the comments basically say that this is a newer edited down version of this video from Joe and the season 10 scheming was cut out in the process of the edit because the other one was uploaded by Mistake going to as far as I can tell the only other hermit who was streaming which is Ren’s Channel this bit was also edited out I went through the transcript and couldn’t find any dude people search don’t they oh my gosh he’s going into stream replays and trying to get quotes and Clips people go for it don’t they holy moly man we someone we look we look we got eyes everywhere mens of it so what this basically means is that the Hermits probably didn’t want to release this idea completely to the public yet either because they haven’t fully thought it Through maybe because it hadn’t been discussed or shared yet but basically even if the comment we’re reading from is completely accurate these plans might still not happen because they were basically just ideas when they were released by accident what are we uh beasts yes flying Vikings Dragon beasts Ooh Dragon beasts yes we flying Viking Dragon beasts that’s what I’m saying and you know we got gigantic balls but back to the plan that was actually likely to happen though the plan that’s been discussed and the Hermits know about which is Operation Country Road you see The idea of all the hers being together also lends itself to solving another problem which is the fact that they well there’s no easy way to put this but they seem to be kind of running out of ideas okay maybe that’s a bit of a stretch but As I’ve been watching as a fan recently I can’t help but noticed the sheer number of recurring storyl the GRE and do Frank War which happened with the Civil War in season 6 two hours later free diamonds yeah basically this is free Diamonds I know they might be in the sense of recurring storylines but the way that the storyline goes is always different right like I haven’t watched loads of hermitcraft I haven’t watched loads of it I know of those the the the moments he just referenced I know both of those Moments but also like if people enjoy them so much then why not do them again and do them in a different way I don’t think it’s I I genuinely don’t think it’s it’s an idea of people are running out of ideas I also think that sometimes it just happens like a storyline just Comes along that makes sense that like comes along I definitely don’t think they’re running out of ideas at all um I just think sometimes it it it it happens that way do you know what I mean and like you just said they were six years apart yeah Like who cares if they do a things again it’s always different the builds and interactions are different exactly Mumbo building the [ __ ] which literally just it’s happened before having some sort of leader in the shopping district a mayor or a king like it was in season 9 but maybe season 10 Because it’s an anniversary season could be a blast in the past a walk down memory lane with new and exciting takes on pre-existing ideas like for example the convex or perhaps the return of the Architects or Sahara but I think one thing that’s certain however is that Season 10 will have a war of some kind in every season since season 6 there’s been a conflict of considerable magnitude season 6 had the Civil War season 7 had the turf war season 8 had the shopping prank wars and season 9 had the perimeter War and the Rebellion Against The King and I think if operation country road goes through season 10 could have one of the most interesting Wars yet you see usually the pranks that develop into Wars involve pranking each other’s bases but if you all live in one base how are you supposed to prank people the answer is Simple of course you change the tactics of your pranking I’m talking Shady ease invisible glass I’m talking AFK pranks I’m talking pranks that comparatively a lot rarer on hermitcraft and franks that would almost certainly lead to more Hermits getting involved on both sides of the War because they’d all be getting Affected by one side or the other but Wars aside what else could season 10 have in store for hermitcraft because operation Country Road and a bunch of Wars sounds awesome but I have more ideas ideas that obviously are a lot more of me guessing and hoping ideas That I think would make the server a lot more interesting your turn boom I’m going to give this a try ready I’m not going to pre dangle you see given the magnitude of what’s gone in season 9 I think it’s safe to assume that the Hermits are Definitely going to try and spice things up and the first thing that comes to mind for for me to make the server more interesting is maybe you add a few more think about it right and just bear with me here the full Redstone mic they ain’t Going to add create holy moly not a chance dude that mod breaks servers all the Hors behind something like create mode but given enough time to expand and really develop their ideas much more than we’ve seen in the few oneoff series that they’ve done let’s imagine the possibility the automation of every Single resource Builders like be having a Fielding with a vast new array of blocks available and amazing ways to actually integrate them together to make them come alive with building and Redstone becoming so interl that the server itself could come alive in a way that it never really has of course That’s a just an idea I might have got a little carried away and it’s probably I don’t think mods are ever going to get get added I think people love hermitcraft because it’s vanilla Minecraft and like you know I think that’s why a lot of people like it it’s Why a lot of people liked Empires with it had a slight you know it’s vanilla but has the slight things that you can attach to it people love it because it’s it’s vanilla Minecraft anyone with Minecraft can play like hermitcraft is do you know what I mean that’s why People love it makes you makes you want to get on Minecraft and play because you can literally boot the game up and you’re playing do you know what I mean I don’t know prob not one that will happen is there still modded HC not really not really these days because as Exuma just Said s it is hcraft is in the end of vanilla server so a mod that changes the game as much as the create mod is realistically never getting at it but smaller ones similar to the custom data packs that the hermit used now could definitely be added to help facilitate The experience not just for the Hermits but even for the viewers the armor stand manipulation data pack has become a part of the server’s identity in a lot of cases and other mods could help push this even further and well I hate to break it you but multiple Hermits have Used mods that are literally banned on most servers client side things like free cam and things that are hacks that you might see on 2b2 T rather than Herra to help show off builds and do other things like helping to spectate Decked Out runs without interfering by having To go into spectator mode or something a mod that immediately came to mind for me for example was terrorist which drastically changes World duration and would make the world much more interesting to look at as is and wouldn’t completely disrupt the vanilla gameplay that is the core of the Server’s identity it would just be like Amplified but Amplified even more than that in the end though more mods are unlikely at Best ladies and gentlemen welcome back to another episode Hy CRA today I need to find a way to K my ass but what about a completely different direction I’m not I’m nothing to say I have nothing to say to that then instead of changing the game to make it more Interesting I change the players of course I’m not suggesting any hermit get removed they’re all incredible and contribute to the server in so many different ways like impulse talked about with his in insane rapping skills in this absolute Masterpiece of a rap a prankster with tricks up the sleeve Artist who will make you believe with mumbo jumbo aut of Fame God that that took me straight back to 2012 but you get the point right every hermit is important to the server so the way to freshen up who’s playing the game is obviously to add one or more New Hermits to the server season 9 is actually the first season ever in which the cost of Hermits didn’t change between so new faces could just be what the server needs to maintain that level of innovation and freshness that keeps it so interesting and there are already so many interesting ideas for members Because since Gem and pearl have already been added while already being on Empires it’s definitely possible that some of the other members of perhaps the life series could join hermitcraft like imagine the shenanigans if smallish be joined the server and went on a prank spree with G or the amount of new Interesting dynamics of playing the game that someone like solidarity gaming or skizzle who I think impulse has been advocating a lot might bring to Ser not only because of their uniqueness as content creators but also because of the pre-existing relationships they have with a lot of of members in fact while I Was writing this video imp posted a stream where he said this about the new members new members for season 10 I can’t say anything let’s just leave it there there may or may not be any new members we’ll see can’t announce whether or not we’re we’re having any new Hermits come on board but um who knows who knows we’ll see that’s all I can say which okay the words he said mean that we don’t really know but judging from an expression and the tone of his voice I think it’s incredibly likely that we’re getting at least one VI herit what the Hermit have said I think the two most likely candidates are Joel smallish beans and skizzleman both of whom would be incredible additions to the server and would really help to elevate season 10 past even the incredible season 9 but even if season 10 will have an insane Omega base with all the Hermits involved even if there might be a completely different dimension that the hermit’s going have even if new members are added the server even if the server gets a little bit modded it’s still going to be insanely hard to top what’s happened in hermitcraft before knowing permits They’ll find a way to do it and if you want to hear a bit
