Inside of here for some reason uh and welcome back to BCG SMP uh even though this is not technically on the S SMP server but we’re getting there the house is coming together nicely so if you’ve missed the previous live live stream basically we have got the exterior done

So this is what the outside looks like been doing it in creative mode in single player the plan is to whip out the old schematic Cannon and then do a little a little playing around with that that’s the the idea behind that uh let me just

Quickly grab a copy cat to cover that back over I came around the back and immediately was like nope there is far too many uh things like that here just was not liking the number of uh of these blocks there you go nice okay cool grab

Bit of regular sand Stone do the same again snowball’s probably perishing inside standard standard business uh let’s get rid of that and put that there yeah cool that’s better it’s not quite as aggressive now is it and then the side yeah all good um and then in terms

Of the Interior we in the last live stream made a lovely kitchen which we decided to keep open open plan you know what I mean to be able to see it from the front so I really like the kitchen got a little bit of shelf space under

Here uh that shelf there I think we could probably change out for maybe a different kind of one maybe even um this kind of one would work nicely let quickly grab bit of that pop that just there is those shelves don’t really look shelfy do they they are so

Tiny um we can try another one though let’s try let’s just try one of these ones the classic oh no that just you know what actually I don’t mind that I don’t completely hate that that actually looks kind of fine it looks like it’s almost like propping it up

Doesn’t it let’s have a quick look at this other shelf but yeah the plan for today is basically to go ahead and finish oh you can get different colors of this one oh in which case then we will probably do that let’s try a birch

Shelf here cuz this kind of shelf sat at the right height is it yeah that’ be fine that’ll be fine what I might do is I might swap around the the glow stone here guess I can’t for that one actually unless I make it a let me

Did some uh pixel art cuz this basically right here is just a chalk board so you right click on it and you can draw on it and then you’re done and basically it’s just black or white pixels simple as that really um so what I did was I

Whipped open a Sprite and we created this fun little guy he’s kind of loosely based on uh B is he called biky man biky man something like that from uh a really old Japanese cartoon called uh aan man so that’s basically what we got going on

There um so yeah so there you go so that was that um aside from that have a look at this little um this little thing I’ll show you real quick I I’m basically currently undecided on where I’m going to be up uploading my episode or say episode sorry uh

Uploading my Montage which is my best of 2023 it’s about 40ish minutes long and it’s taken up far more days than I ever wanted it to I’m almost like frustrated with it by the time I finished it which is Annoying It’s supposed to be a celebration of the past year and I’m

Just like annoyed by it that it took up so much of my time even though I tried to simplify the process what I tried to do is I tried to download all the clips that people sent me I think there was something like 100 20 Clips in the end

And then what I wanted to do is was just whip open a a spreadsheet put them all in there in order and then hit randomize and just literally drop them into the timeline you know as that and that’s that but because it’s me I can’t just do

The lazy edit I I can’t bring myself to publish something that is just thrown together like that I just couldn’t do it even if it was going to go on the shorts Channel I still wanted it to have somewhat of an order and spread out clips and stuff like that um

Yeah I don’t know so I I ended up manually going through and basically doing the whole thing look so I show you what the timeline looks like um it looks like this so this is this is the timeline in the end so you can see that I’ve tried

To have like a relatively even spread of colors and topics and tones and all that sort of stuff it’s ended up being about what 41 minutes in the end um which is actually shorter than I predicted initially I thought it was going to be like well over an hour or something

Um but yeah so that’s what it’s ended up coming out like so there you are uh Ys this one far too much the diagonal roof piece leaves one block with the extra texture I’d be honest I’m not even going to process what that is not even going

To process that sorry right um but yeah I’m not sure where to post it don’t know to just post it straight on the Minecraft Channel because I feel as though it will likely get more eyes there I feel like there’s more active Subs subscribers on that channel but

Then it feels more like a shorty Channel thing you know what I mean I think it was if it was a random compilation like best of August or whatever I would post it on the shorts channel for sure but because it’s best of the year I kind of

Feel like putting it on the Minecraft Channel I put it on the Minecraft Channel what harm could it do well I didn’t I you know what it is I don’t chase the algorithm but I’m semi aware of like you’ve got to try and have consistency in performance across videos

On there but I don’t know maybe I should just stick to my guns and just don’t overthink it upload to the Minecraft Channel and be done with it you know what I mean just just go for it the only thing that’s put me off slightly is that

There is some non-pg stuff in there and the majority of the content on the Minecraft channel is PG obviously so I don’t know if it’s worth it being on the shorts Channel just for that reason alone I don’t know um oh my God I got way more ice than I

Expected 40 minutes video isn’t quite short oh but the the shorts channel is hardly anything like there’s hardly any short videos on there they’re all really long also Kyle Hammond thank you very much for becoming a member on YouTube much love thank you very much um right

So downstairs area I like this little sitting area you sit here you watch the TV that’s kind of cute I don’t think it needs anything too crazy in it if I’m completely honest I had wondered whether it was worth doing like this doing this kind of vibe here

Um I didn’t know whether this was worthwhile just to kind of make it its own space an initial part of me is thinking no part of me my gut feeling is saying keep an open plan for the start um just because it kind of makes the room just feel that Teensy bit bigger

You know what I mean um but I think maybe maybe open is best yeah I’m thinking open I think it open good to try it good to experiment nice got it so we got that there so you got that there that looks up to there um I guess I’ve not really

Thought properly about what we’re going to put over on here like what kind of paintings do we have in this mod pack cuz you can just kind of cheese it sometimes by having a bunch of paintings where this has a little bit of a like sort of Japanese inspired feel it might

Have you looked at the textures of the Frog lights or sea lights well my issue with those kinds of Lights is is that they’re they might be too hard to get a hold of you know what I mean I kind of don’t want to run the risk of getting

Anything that is too complex because then it’s going to be really hard to actually find these things so we got a little seat area just there um trying to think is it like a shoe rack shoes there’s shoes running shoes running shoes ooh increases the wear’s movement

Speed while sprinting is there a recipe for that hold on um Sho what’s the recipe for those or do you just find them I love that entity Loot drop oh is it mimics have a chance of dropping them oh interesting okay you need a dining

Choice uh where was it was it this one right click with the sheets change the blocks look oh no no no um we can try the MCO one Oak end table and Oak Table me to be honest even something like that actually works quite nicely we could we could potentially make it a

Circle actually that could work uh tell you what we could do we could always do um table has underlighting and then oh actually no we couldn’t could we unless unless we put four blocks there does that work yeah that would work if we then do

The copy cat on it so if I do uh copy I think that should then work yeah there you go cool so if we did that on each of these wait hold on uh so what’s my plan here is to do it under each of those yeah that’s it

Although do we like it with a little perforation around it just has a little bit more shape to it h see you what real quick let’s just try this to begin with let’s see how this looks with a bit of a shape to it is this going to work or is this just

Corners get some glowstone I’m still not set on that table by the way that’s just um just there for now right Birch planks of course there that one sorted that’s that one sorted that one sorted that’s that one s cool nice got it oh gotcha oh and that one as

Well why do I feel like there still a Stone bit there no we’re fine I think he’s playing the songs on YouTube yeah the music that’s playing right now is literally if you just search starw Valley uh full original high quality soundtrack that’s literally what I’m playing right

Now nothing nothing crazy nothing spicy I tell you what I was excited to see one of the bands that got played during our radio show oh that does look quite nice actually oh that does look really nice that jungle wood sits nicely there but yeah good kid all of their music’s

Now royaltyfree which is pretty cool so we’ll have to um we’ll have to give that a go is there an equivalent to this what kind of table was that jungle one uh it’s in Candle Light which one was it where was the candle light one also this Spruce one as well

Oops what is I keep I keep missing my shots Here actually I think a darker table probably does make sense maybe we won’t do the Silly Birch the silly darker floor though unless we have almost like what looks like a rug beneath it oh we could maybe do a rug let me see what kind of rugs they’ve

Got uh they have that I kind of want to put that there as well that look weird coming in I think that looks right do It not sure I feel about that One do they have tatami blocks to Tami Farmers the light to tamy block ooh what is that is that a light source oh no it’s not is That H oh it does join together oh it does ooh that is pretty does that work with this oh it does ooh new potential Maybe there’s other Tatamy blocks too I think full tatami mat and half tatami mat well let me just quickly check the theory on this so will that go all the way across or does it only ever go by two it only ever goes by two interesting that might be quite

Nice let me have a look at this and how it would tile with copycat uh that one and then copycat so if I was to do this oh oops Give me a second I think it would have been cool if it would do full Stripes but I’m not sure if I’m feeling it for when it has so many black borders there’s almost too many black borders orders we can maybe try and utilize these upstairs instead maybe it’s yeah it’s way too

Gritty could use it for the for the welcome mat yeah we could try that for the welcome mat I’m down with that yeah I don’t think it works for whole floor coverage it would have if it was like if it legit covered everything I would have been been super down for

That because it’s not um we won’t go for it oh God no oops oops Yeah I don’t mind it for the for the door at yeah cool nice uh um right then tables let’s figure out the table s we can maybe try and pop them beneath here doesn’t look too bad under there O how would it look if we made it so it looks as though it Was then beneath every other one so basically what I’m thinking is you do two and that two and that so it Alters the layout of the glowstone um and then you do that one and then one two so it’s like that so there is there is almost like a slight pattern to

It uh one two three then once the table goes in I’m not really feeling that I don’t think I’m feeling it unfortunately never mind again always good to try that that is right hold on one of these in each Corner dir there Birch Birch it’s always good to just

Experiment with these things just to see what Happens nice maybe even if we just do a little bit of like uh wool just a regular old bit of black wool or something beneath the table could even put the wool benath here just so at there slight diagonals you see you see it just eats the floor up a little bit

More you know what I mean Is such a minute detail but I can’t help but want to focus on the little things yeah I like that I think that eats the the floor space up a little bit cool oh you can make the tables actually at least two Length how did that work how how did those two connect together properly is it because I placed them both in the same face and direction oh wait now we got Two to be honest that looks fine I actually I actually like that table I think that table’s working nicely there I definitely want to have something decorative up here they do have katana they have Katana did you watch Pokémon conge if you did what do you think of it uh I thought it was okay yeah I I enjoyed it I was sad that there wasn’t more of it but I also felt as though it it just felt so it didn’t feel like that there was

C wow that’s a big frog Jesus Christ I don’t think I want this to be the house of the Frog not sure I’m quite that dedicated to the Frog no definely needs to be smaller paintings right what else we Got I like that one that is quite small yeah the thing is I just don’t know what to put on this wall that does just go to there Okay what are we doing that chat look at the pole oh do we have a pole going again don’t see that on my little thing what’s the poll view all frog painting yes or yes s off right let’s let’s let’s look through all the paintings before like trying to

Commit to some so I quite like those two they’re cool they’re little one by ones some flowers bit generic not feeling any of these weird monstery ones chicken uh the fish one’s a bit weak Tetris one the I’m kind of into the do one the DI one’s kind of Cool and these ones I think 2 by two is probably the cap out point right I feel like a 2X two fits the wall nicely I mean we could even just keep that a blank canvas and make our own one in the future you know what I mean I’m

Sure we’ve got immersive paintings haven’t we oh maybe not Um big gold mustache oh oh where the painting go I think it’s that pillar that’s really throwing me off do we need the pillar we kind of do do you think we can get away with not having it I feel like we could get away with without having

It I think we can I think we can get away with it that makes that inside wall a lot more lot more usable now like it I appreciate it structure but I don’t think we need it so we got two two then one 2 three four five six okay more room for big

Frog the problem is with big frog is it’s just too much verticality I mean big frog could go here realistically if you want big frog painting we get I don’t mind putting the Frog painting on this wall where was the Frog painting well I’m not going to lie I do like the

Fox is that the Mario Painting you guys want the big frog you sure are you really sure you want the big frog Sure you can have the big frog what’s the deal out here let needs to Carry On from there just purely for the uh for the framing this is one of those things where I want the inside and the outside to look good but at the same Time then where’s the copy Cat I bet you outside that’s not as not as nice to be fair it works there but it probably wouldn’t work anywhere else Ian we could probably even cover those yeah I probably even get away with This just sort of seeing what we can mask on the inside and Outside I mean be honest that that will probably get covered by frog Right just don’t like the way it hangs down I mean to be honest actually to be fair it the the colors blend there right the colors kind of work between them I just hate the framing around it the frame does stick out from the wall ever so slightly where are those uh yeah

These would these help all ooh almost adding like a little window sill to it does that help or is that weird not Sure also let me just try this real Quick that definitely helps inside in my opinion with the uh the shaping of Stuff just for like not having random Birch beams on the indoors that works nicely for me and that the overhang isn’t super noticeable it almost gives it a slightly more window Vibe as well I think that helps think this Wall’s kind of populated itself nicely with just the TV

Yeah how do we feel about big frog with big frog with window thing You like it do you reckon it should go up by one more block maybe feel like maybe one more block would help just not so it’s not taking up a ton of the uh the real Estate nice yeah this is well lit this is well lit you get me well lit that is an exterior one okay cool we can get away with this where did Big Frog go Oru OK nice sure we can work with that I’m going to set this in by one block I think

Think I’m just not enjoying the yeah I wasn’t enjoying the bleed on the corner there nice sweet all right then um I mean I guess if I want this to be a mechanical a mechanical house maybe I should just do a bunch of chests across this what kind of chests have we got

I guess we’ll figure out the lighting situation as well as well as the carpets let’s get rid of all this I guess that has to stay let’s start by making all the floor the same Color so the carpet is a bit of a necessity because it dictates the uh the floor above Bas uh oh why is that gone like that oh weird um oh yeah know that is necessary okay Fair so if we can maintain the wooden border around there that would be good I think we can’t there but we can have the rule be that it carries on until that point or something like that that could Work okay cool does that have to stay it does okay that has to stay and then we just put a carpet over the top of it I think we definitely need some here which does work thank God just seeing which roof pieces we can get away with putting lights under the more

Under floor lighting we can do the better really cool yeah we can get away with one there I don’t know how much new light that’s going to introduce downstairs no that looks fine there’s just a bit of a patch here in the middle isn’t there but luckily for us we can

Stagger some lights that needs to stay there anyway so that’s good cool we got a relatively even spread here obviously we’ll get rid of that cool that’s fine by me we can probably just pop a bit Of is that any of that dictated by downstairs ah that b is okay fair aside from that everything else is groovy yeah cool I mean I can even just put some furniture over the top of that is that also need it yeah now cool uh actually wait check everything’s facing the right

Out how we’re going to do all the Sleepy sleepies clear my inventory out I do like these little lights I’m not going to lie I kind of I’m kind of digging the uh the glowstone in the corner it’s more of a vanilla trick but I think it’s really Cute and that we can get away with so we could probably do little patch there Even that wall there we can get away with doing that to be honest this wall here can probably all be storage um so let’s have a look chest so I mean there’s loads there’s loads of different kinds of chests anyway I wouldn’t even mine just regular old chests here to be

Honest does that go to each of the corners oh it’s off by One so in by two one one Give me a second chat I’m cooking just trying to figure out the balance here so that would have to sit one away wouldn’t it same for that one and then we can do yeah there you go perfect good stuff that works for me surely we’re never going to need more than those chests

Right like I want this house to be practical for me as well as just like a nice little thing to walk Into bloody H keep doing that so all light should really be at this Level maybe we don’t need those lights there but at least these ones we can pop here and here yeah so there’s a degree of symmetry going on nice tell you what I would like I’d like uh oh oops I’m quite enjoying these being in the Corners maybe not unless we do where’s Birch planks oh my off hand See how it looks once I do all of Them I think definitely having the Gap helps but the trap doors we got although actually what I could probably then do is I could probably then do The Maybe it looks better with a little bit of birch Visible I think it looks a little bit nicer like that rather than them touching the ceil and I’m kind of digging where they are yeah cool all right so we got that um we need a bed what kind of beds we got oh what about do they have screens in

This top area here a bit more open Air uh the mod pack also has storage drawers with a controller for easy Depositing what’s the what’s the comp the thing for easy Depositing do you know which mod specifically that’s In Anything that can give me easy easy like item put away would be great I’m just going to see if there’s any other lanterns that are less I’ve not even thought about paper lanterns oh my God adds a really nice shape on top okay Wait ooh that’s nice I’m kind of feeling the paper Lanterns oh they do actually stick on the wall properly no way okay wait I think we’ve just made a decision there I don’t think they oh maybe they do kick out the same amount of light oh yeah dude absolutely Yeah we’ve definitely just made a decision There mean it could well be too many but figure out as we go Problem is is this roof part here is too wide whereas that part’s only three wide I mean I could always help with that Maybe by making it then more of a Column cool hold on I just want to have a look at these lanterns I definitely should vary them as well oh there’s so many lanterns here Dude problem is I don’t even know how I’m going to make half of this Stuff oh you can actually get lanterns with writing on as Well not sure I’m super into that that the Ki for fire yeah it is as Well is that a typewriter an iron typewriter oh hell yeah we’re putting a typewriter in here leave that there for a second yeah we don’t need quite so many in the roof if Any o that copper one’s nice as well maybe we have copper ones on the exterior yeah defo To be fair we do need to take this tree out what do is I’ll the copper works well cuz we have a lot of orangey tones in this place already I’ll try and stagger them more around corners and stuff if I Can yeah good choice Dude Nice sweet would the copper ones look any good on top of there n it definitely looks better with the paper lanterns on top of there doesn’t it maybe there’s a Better Block to use for that um logs I mean would even a birch log look any good on top of that with

A no it’s too it’s too textured isn’t it I mean I’m sure there’s a million versions of stuff in like Chipped actually like the plain ones there you can put that copper Lantern on the wall pillar on the balcony on the wall pillar on the balcony oh yeah yeah I see what you’re saying open it there yeah that’s a good shot good location for it I like this kind of consistency of

Having them connected to Wood and then I’ll alter the location of these so if that’s on that side there we’ll put it on top side here that’s that nice where did you go to why what not sure why that ever was like that maybe the beam does need to be there He broke the word it was leading up onto the balcony yeah that’s why I was getting confused I think Uh that’s where that was okay right okay yeah that that that does pull it all together now okay fair um yeah cool Co cool Co cool yeah it’s a lot of copper lanterns but they’re doing their work right the kitchen ones can definitely be um can definitely be a bit more

Stylized get some lovely colors going on in the kitchen iing just some like little florally ones nothing nuts what’s this Crimson Lantern like way too like Royal Looking we don’t all need to be stylized though is the thing cool I like that Um unless we keep the trends there the same we actually remove those and we put the copper ones on there yeah I think that Helps there think these ones that are more like head height kind of thing need need that do this need more light by the way where is the frogo painting there he is doesn’t hurt to use more does it I think I’ve got to do a quick copycat outside Though got it try drawers for storage yeah what was this um automatic storage thing people were telling me about that’s something that’s um that’s something that’s intrigued me so there was the drawers people mentioned but somebody said there was some kind of like automatically sorting one extended extended extended drawers mod so there’s

A draw Double Draw and quad draw okay in fact where was that thing you said I can search by mod and the mod’s in alphabetical order don’t think they are cuz that would be Helpful that’s fine I think I found them yeah I got them then what else is in there Shadow drawer compacting draw drawer access point draw upgrades extended raw duplication wand what I’m in creative mode the hell what is going on why do I feel like I’m about to lose

Everything print screens quick before everything here gets destroyed right there we go relog real quick just before that world inevitably gets Destroyed they’re like that for some reason you can’t oneshot them in Creative okay I just I thought it was a Mei problem I thought i’ done something wrong so I start to get a little bit worried There nice okay cool tell you what I will do actually just cuz now that I’ve said it out loud I’ll kick myself if I don’t uh I’m very quickly going to get a just going to get a schematic and quill and just just take a read of this
