EPIC Island Adventure with NEW Friend! – Minecraft Hardcore #2

That’s not fun oh my God lord where the where you come from oh okay back on the island back on the island we still got our a little Wy friend unfortunately we weren’t able to tame him in like the first episode pretty sure I gave him like two bones

And then he just sort of walked off very sad moment like good C we also have no turtles anymore I just realized that now I’m even more sad God damn Turtles where you I see you sir hello he’s just swimming away I see another one W so when I was editing the first

Episode I realized the only objective for that we technically achieved was doing the mob spawn in platform that’s basically it because hey another turtle SED we didn’t really sort anything to do with food not that I can tell I mean we have like fish around with started wheat

But we don’t actually have like a sustainable amount of food so as of right now I have one piece of fish and that literally it so probably going to have to start this episode doing the same going and getting some food potentially hopefully having this fully filled up

Today because I don’t want to keep like going out into the water going away from the island going away from the platform if that’s what we need to be doing just to be able to go and get a bed cuz we need spider spawns unfortunately I might

Have to make like a walkway over there unless I just keep using the boat I might just make a dock over there sort of thing on The Edge where I carried on building I need to swap the dirt blocks for a door as well because I want to be

Able to fight things I just need a trap door in case we have baby zombies cuz they’re very annoying to fight time to go get some food then well I feel like 14 fish is enough for now we can only put four on one of these anyway

So chop down the wood get more wood we can finish off the spawning platform to stop things from going on the top and spawning up there and causing a lot of issues and then when night time actually comes hopefully we can just get a load of spawns in there and even during the

Day we can get a load of spawns get a load of spiders hey we have a turtle D hi how you doing I like you so let’s get up get all this wood farmed and then we can finish the rest of that spawning platform damn it it’s already gone night time I

Haven’t even finished farming up all my what the H just dropped off that tree was that a stick or was it an apple I think it was a stick it was a bird oh well that was perfect okay it wasn’t I was going to say what is spawning off a

Birch tree other than sticks so it is night time now I’m hoping that nothing spawns on the roof over there while I am right over here because I’m just going to go and wait for some more food to cook up go over with some slabs finish

Off the top of there and then hopefully we can start farming some things that are in there I do also need to take a door with me let’s go over to the island then and finish this hope that wolf also stays there and I can get some bones tonight

Because I do want to actually tame it it’s just if it’s going to be too much hassle to actually tame then I don’t think it’s going to be I mean I didn’t mean to do that um okay there’s nothing there we’re good right put that down and I put the door

Yay I have that system like that still fight the baby zombies don’t have to worry about them I could have also just put half slab I guess but it’s just easier with that no God damn it get out nice I could do with actually making

Ladders for here just to sort of go up the side because actually Noz we might have to go back up top anyway so um I might just keep the that’s the only pillar that’s keeping the whole thing floating nice got to love Minecraft physics okay so this is now done think

Things can now start spawning I don’t know how long things start to take like how long they take to start spawning because we’ve been on the world for however long um it is now night time as well realistically they should be spawning unless there’s a lot of caves underneath us maybe that’s the

Issue not quite sure but it could just be that this one’s going to have low spawn rates for now it’s going to take a very long time to even get them to spawn could also be the fact that this is open so I might block that off and then just

Sort of like only break it as I’m when I need to fight a baby zombie or when I come in to check to see if there’s any baby zombies maybe but a half slaby better not really uh I me I guess the other way would Be having the Trap go that way instead and then I could just drop that down check anything go in if there’s no how does that look I mean I think it looks the exact same in terms of lighting doesn’t it is it dark enough does this let through too much light

Possibly does that actually make a difference yeah it do okay then maybe the door’s a bad idea possibly maybe even the trapo is a bad idea okay that’s a lot darker with just those so I think what I’m going to do is when the time actually comes I might put a door

Down or a trap door at the bottom like if I put a half slab here I can break that kill the baby zombies if there are any baby zombies if not then I could just carry on and like open this up Crouch through carry

On and that might be how I have to do this just because I feel like this needs to be fully locked up just to have things actually spawning I don’t really want to light the area up but I’m just going to make sure that nothing can spawn

Um so it’s just going to all have to be like one extra slab high so all of it’s going to have to be this high and I’m just going to have to break through and take a look basically okay I’ll do the dock something like

That I need to go and get some more torches possibly turn it to lanterns later on um I can get up out of the water in case I need like case I fall down and I just drop off if I am down here I can still just basically get the swim boost

And and still go that’s not too bad anything spawned no oh well I hope that does work out it might be worth still getting rid of that torch maybe um just because it might still be a bit too much lighting possibly we’ll just have to wait and see maybe wait out the

Whole day we’ll go back and check in a couple of minutes maybe see if anything spawned if not I might take the torch out try it again just because don’t know whether that’s going to be affecting spawn I don’t think it would because they’re all solid blocks but who knows

How Minecraft lighting works because they only need a little bit of light now and nothing spots so it’s good in terms of lighting up at a place where you don’t want mobs to spawn but I guess I don’t really need light over there because they’re all half slabs anyway so nothing can

Spawn but I just need to I need to put half slab on top of each of those pillars maybe do like an archway that I go through H we’ll we’ll figure it out it’s okay oh sugar gr let’s go we’re going to have that enchanting set up done pretty swiftly

Dude the wolf’s still here thankfully I do want to sort of I want to change the island and I might just get rid of most of it flatten it out and turn it into like a circle maybe unless I keep it as like the actual Island structure I might keep it as the

Instructure and just sort of Branch off from it but I feel like it’s just going to look weird having like floating platforms that makes sense so I don’t just want to have like hey I’ve got that over there if I was to keep that permanently

That would be like one part and then do like multiple things going around but instead of having all squares or rectangles have them as like floating circular platforms maybe I putting way too much thought into this and not enough thought into actually surviving to that point because

I don’t have iron yet I don’t have a shield I have a little bit of food so that’s good I can’t tell if you’re grown hey we’re grown nice our piece first our first piece of wheat so now we have three seeds very nice great success

Okay I just got over to this island I can hear skeleton bones rattling which means the Torches will be fine on there so I will go make more torches I can hear you how many are there there there’s at least one hey I didn’t think this path through

Hey is there only the one in there yeah there is only the one nice let’s go dude see because it’s like when all this is actually darkened up see how there’s a ring of light at the bottom because I ain’t well because I haven’t filled in actually all of these are

Slabs so because they’re only half slabs the light is still getting let in which I don’t know if that’s reason for the spawn issues and why they’re so slow maybe because like I said the lighting has been updated which means light you need a little bit of light and nothing

Spawns so I might have to go back around underneath and go with a load of more half slabs and just sort of fill in the rest of the bottom and then hopefully that prevents the light from seeping through or maybe be the corners instead I’ll just have to test both ways and see

Which one’s actually useful well we’re back again this time we have a zombie friend to fight so it looks like it would be slow rates if we left it as it was it’s like seems to be like one mob each time that we turn up here hopefully I can fix that

By putting the ring around at the bottom and gets rid of that ring of light fill in the rest of these if not then it could just be because this gap which I might actually do a test now so I’ll put a few there and then

I’ll uh you can stay there just in case then I’ll put the rest like that let’s see which ones actually make a difference and as you can see it’s the ones that you put underneath so the ones that we put at the side to fill in that Gap in the

Corners did absolutely nothing but these ones that I put directly underneath these slabs rather than underneath these ones they have actually made a difference so now that I know which ones I need to go ahead and alter I can now go and do that pretty quick pretty easy

And then we should be fine with spawns and hopefully we see an increase in spawns oh no don’t don’t Jesus I’m used to the old versions of swimming where you kind of just sort of just go up out of the water and you instantly get full

Oxygen no in this one it’s like you now have to stay up and actually gain your oxygen like normal people you don’t just instantly get all your oxygen back I might ask keep for getting that you know there is actually one thing that I’m very worried about now

That it’s gone night time and I’m doing this if things start spawning underneath like Dr with a Trent they’re going to absolutely treat me like a pink cushion basically I’m going to come back up and I’m just going to be covered in Trent and they are going to probably kill me

Pretty quick if there are Trent because they they heard man they heard lot right so I’ve got a little Archway going not the best Archway obviously just a quick and easy one I’ve got torches on all four sides of the pillars so will’ll now be safe and hopefully things

Spawning right below fingers crossed and at least then I’ll be able to see where it is if I do change it I might even make like an entrance sort thing where I carry this over to the little spawn platform but if this doesn’t stay a spawn platform then at least there’s

Still a dock with a little Archway maybe it could be turned to a tree farm later on or an actual like crop Farm or something like that but let’s go ahead and see what the difference is so as you can see the Ring of light has gone completely so hopefully that

Way we finally found our first piece of iron oh thank God it’s not also just a single vein because that would have been very like disheartening just to find a single piece of iron and be like yeah a but with that iron I am going to go

Ahead and make a shield so that I can deflect arrows from SK when I’m at the mob farm and hopefully I can carry on and find more just a little bit further down and maybe even be able to make like a chest plate or potentially just like a

Pair of leggings or something just so I have more defense well would you look at that I mean it’s kind of annoying because my pickaxe just broke but literally seconds after recording that bit like I was here when I was recording the clip and got like three blocks down I found more iron

And I know it’s at least four so I can make a chest plate and I can even make the shield so let’s just go back up make ourselves a shield get it all smelted down and then I can come back down with another pickaxe and collect the

Rest oh we have a shield the rest of the iron is smelting good before I actually go back I want to go and check on our little mob SP mob spawner I want to see if we actually have a spawn or not because it’s back to daytime there’s not really anywhere else for

Mobs to spawn I can’t hear one I break the spawns by putting all the slabs on the bottom does it matter like what material you make out of maybe like a stone is better than making out of wood maybe maybe it’s just going to be one of

Those where it’s going to take a very long time to actually have any spawns and we’ll be lucky if we actually get anything there I might have to build one up in the sky or something out of the way of like all the caves down below because it’s like right

On top of that bit of like land so it could be that there’s a cave underneath or something or close to that that’s stopping the spawns we still have no spawns in this since I’ve changed the flooring so feel like I don’t think it’s the Torches affected anything don’t think it’s

Anything out here cuz there’s some stuff that’s technically spawnable because they’re like the slabs and stuff the way the positioned it creates like a four block so they are spawnable platforms but there’s enough light there that it shouldn’t spawn anything on outside so hopefully we get any spawns

In the future I don’t know like I said I might have to build one like a lot higher up and just have like a shoot that drops them down but that could still be an issue I might have to build like a ladder that goes all the way up to the sky somewhere

And just sort of build it off in a certain direction that it’s not in render distance the whole time so it’s like a massive IA or maybe just do like a bubble elevator up there or something but let’s go down get the rest of our iron maybe make a suit of before

We end the episode and then we should be okay we still haven’t got a house but I don’t feel like we need a house until we have a bed don’t know if that’s just me but I’d rather just make a house when I have a bed 15 pieces of iron I’m pretty sure

That was two separate veins but it did also exposed copper so as and when I need copper I know where some is I just heard a bat which means there’s a cave somewhere and I’m going to guess that it’s below me I hope hopefully I actually end up

Coming across it because I it’ be a lot easier to find materials I found you is that also deep slate don’t tell me that the warden is going to be directly below my base like what other chances that the warden is underneath the island I mean I wouldn’t mind like a mob spawner

Sad our first piece of iron armor damn it feels good to finally be getting somewhere we finally have upgrades guys we have ourselves iron pickaxe iron sword two pieces of iron armor and ourselves an iron shield we’re going to go back down into that little cave and

See if we can or can’t get ourselves bones to tame oursel a wolf some string to be able to make ourselves a bed or potentially even a fishing rod because a fishing rod would still be useful in terms of catching fish and stuff for food source so there like multi things

In different ones so let’s just see what we can get there’s a Mr Ender looking at me so there is a way down to like further down so I’m going to guess that leads towards the warden or at least like one of those sensory areas yeah cuz there’s different
