server take a look at things and uh just kind of see where things go um but I I do have the IP address and she did make it public so I would imagine she probably wouldn’t mind if I shared it um so uh I’m just GNA I’m just going to put that there that that’s that’s that’s the IP for her uh for her Minecraft server and I’ll pin it and uh I’ll switch over to the game switch over to the game yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah um I do have my shaders on and I’m in my little just hole in the wall base uh I’m pretty decently Ked up um I don’t have enchants yet I still Need to get um I still need to get uh leather for bookshelves um but I’ve got a couple of crops gr going here got some just some real basic stuff um down there there’s M’s down there go down there some just some basic mines you know about what you Expect just a just a just a real basic starter base you know just a just a very basic starter base a little bit of cave um got a few other people on the server tonight uh aged VC was actually the uh the guy who speedran the server and like Beat the Boss within like I be beat the Ender Dragon within like a couple hours that was nuts yeah back up here and then uh out on the surface oh I just I just got pinged hold on yeah here’s our surface area little bit of a mob farm it’s not a very Efficient mob farm probably going to have to replace it but uh let me check Discord I just got a ping Uh oh was the the phase connect phase connect uh PCB um yeah oh I have an elytra that’s right let me go grab my elytra so we can use that to fly around a little bit lra with uh with mending on it um um and we do have some teleport commands so like Slome for that um and then also have slome end which takes me to the end portal which is hbc’s base hello uh um go check out the end a little bit or should we should we check out the end or should we check out spawn I don’t know what do you guys Think I think I’m going to hop in there so the Ender Dragon is respawned but uh we’re just going to avoid that and go go out uh out over into the void but uh man this looks good with uh with shaders doesn’t it um I’m als also by the Way I I tried uh raising my bit rate and resolution so hopefully it looks hopefully the stream looks a little better um if I have internet problems let me know but I remember that uh I actually had a tech out to fix my internet since I was having internet Troubles and so the internet should be working better which means I should be able to stream at a at a higher bit rate um not seeing anything from chat is my chat bugged out again let me try uh let me try doing this pop out chat oh okay okay okay cool Um that is not the right window that is not the right window uh yeah now you know that I I actually I checked the the flavor threads I uh I do read those I do read those quite a bit quite a bit um but I like how these uh shaders Look I like how these sh change it to live chat yes yes I always forget thank you thank you thank you um I forgot to grab the I forgot to grab the um Rockets Rockets So yeah you can just pop home grab things and then pop back with the teleport commands it’s very Convenient very easy uh magic set that up Um we we flying so of course got just a little platform here to to kill some Enderman I’m not going to spend the whole stream grinding Enderman but uh could keep looking for end cities um remember there’s one over here I already went through this one um this is where I got the Elytra but let’s keep looking for more uh I did go through that one also have to watch the durability on it so it doesn’t break and just fall way I really enjoy flying with elytra it’s very fun oh that’s a that’s one of the things to teleport back to spawn there’s another One let’s try to find another n city I don’t know if I’m going to find one I don’t know ah how does the rocket thing work so when you have an elytra you can fly and when you right click with a rocket it gives you more Speed um but it uses the Rockets the the fire works are crafted with paper and gunpowder I might need to get more I’ve already used so many I have to repair it too I think I’m going to stop and repair it have to be careful about speed Because if you uh crash land with an elytra it will deal fall damage um so you do have to slow down before you uh hit the ground um just going to grab a couple blocks here maybe a few more that should be good all right build it right here I think So since it has mending on it any XP oh hey temp we’re playing some Minecraft we’re on a Nana server tonight um and I’m just kind of screwing around I think we’re going to try and find some n cities but right now I want to repair the elytra with Mending uh and that involves getting some XP so we’re just going to just sort of impromptu Farm some Eng in here just to get it repaired back up uh apologies if this is loud I may need to turn this down a little bit uh I’ll turn it down maybe 5 DB Uh put that in my off hand so it actually takes the XP See the uh so The Mending enchantment converts uh XP into durability which makes it very easy to repair them um still need a little bit more so aggro a few more Enderman come on come on get mad at me come on so the the uh the server is actually run By a um magic which is who’s who’s one of the uh the mods and um he he’s also pretty experienced with running some other servers which is pretty cool so I I think he’s doing a pretty good job with it um it is Uh we hit F3 we can see it is a it is a paper server um which means it has uh plugins and whatnot like you saw with the the teleportation um and I think it does have certain bugs and glitches that are in vanilla patched out I believe it patches TNT dupers for Instance um I think we’d have to test that to be sure all right fully repaired um I think I’m going to TP back and get some Rockets what am I doing for gunpowder kind of low on gunpowder using it my chests are a little bit of a mess But it is what it is what it is what it is need some more fireworks of them uh let’s go up to the mob farm see if there’s more gunpowder up there these shaders look good yeah I got 16 gunpowder that should be oh yeah oh yeah there we go then we’ll put The paper back there we’ll do slash back to get back to where we were and then I think it was this Direction all right let’s see if we can find uh let’s see if we can find an N City Wee oh here here we go actually go get one um or I I shouldn’t say fly out because at that point you wouldn’t have an elytra um you kind of either have to Bridge out or use one of the end gateways with an ender pearl um so kelp so for for those of you who don’t no there’s um there’s Different uh sources of food in the game and some of them are better like they fill up more food bars but also there there’s actually two food bars in Minecraft there’s the the normal food bar and there’s a hidden saturation bar and the saturation bar determines How long before the food bar next drains and it also when the food bar is completely full determines how much health you’ll get from it before you need to eat again um so foods that are higher in saturation uh do better for healing but they’re also usually harder To to get um and kelp kelp is a food source but it is a it it is like the food source with like the least saturation in the game it is like the worst food source so it’s it’s kind of it’s kind of a little bit of a meme item um but you Can also use it for fuel but it’s harder to farm for fuel than [Laughter] charcoal so it’s it’s it’s it’s a meme right don’t it’s it’s a me he he doesn’t like it he doesn’t like that I’m I’m dising Kel is Kel maxing hard Kel maxing Is hard mode Kel kelp maxing is hard it is hard work to kelpmax kelp is the best food ever yeah as I’m eating oaked potatoes Sakura Blossom oh he’s killing the soccer trees for charcoal kelp is the best you know I I got to be honest um kelp is one of the better Fuels aside from like blaze rods but blaze rods are very very hard to farm um um and then there’s also lava buckets which are like the best fuel in the game but they’re not actually they are renewable now with the with the dripstone um but they only they they don’t stack So you can only have one lava bucket but you can a lava bucket in a furnace will smelt 100 items which is a lot um I think kelp let me actually look uh I think it was like 10 I want to say that that you can normal coal and Charcoal is eight items I think kelp was like 10 uh the the dried kelp block um oh no it’s 20 items that’s actually really really good cuz I I think it what was blaze rods fuel 12 so so Kel blocks are actually better than blaze rods I didn’t Know that so yeah they they are actually a very very good source of fuel then I’m sorry I was dissing I was dissing the kelp when I shouldn’t have been dissing the kelp kp’s actually the best fuel in aside from aside from lava um but anyways let’s let’s go look At some more stuff uh maybe go to that the nether me me yeah I think I’m in the nether here them uh so they’ve got a little bit of a nether tunnel here and see there’s a another nether portal over there I think there was I think mine is Further back that way but you need to fly to get to it um I think this one takes you to somewhere there’s something over here might want to turn down your game audio a little bit Ah Ah all right let me do that maybe minus 10 DB there was some ice over maybe bagot spawn somewhere was it I’ll just take a boat Over um boats on Ice are very very very fast forget if it was this direction I remember there was an ice biome somewhere around here it was the other direction spawn yeah here here it is I’ll eat for a little bit is is uh yeah you can get going very Very quick on uh with with boats on ice so you can imagine um and with with a silk touch pick you can actually mine the ice and get the ice blocks um and you can make tunnels with ice blocks and have them go for very very long distances and travel Um travel very long distances very very quickly with that even without teleportation turn the audio down again for watermelon I uh is it is it still loud all right all right all right turn it down is that better yeah we can go very very fast on ice but there’s also drifting too it’s Like so there’s some uh there’s some custom maps that rely on this mechanic and use it as like a like a cart racing type of thing where it’s like trying to race with a with a boat on top of ice and ice is the is the um racetrack those are those are some Interesting Maps those are fun um has anyone set up a base out here they’re not in one line it’ll it’ll make it half the speed which means that if you don’t Alternate crops every other row it grows slower or or either alternate crops or like have spaces in between um but that means that like if you have a a field that’s entirely wheat that’ll grow half as fast as a field that alternates between say wheat and carrots Um and that that’s that’s in the code but it’s not not very well documented like I don’t think most people know that that’s in there um it’s it’s very very well hidden mechanic uh Nether wart the rest of them aren’t grown so I won’t I won’t close to the world I missed it it was too far too far of a jump there’s a lava pool if we wanted to Go to the nether that’d be a good way to get there early game is you can use water to convert that to obsidian um and you can pick up the lava source blocks and sort of cast a portal that way and it’s a very good way to get a Portal early on without uh without a diamond pickaxe to actually mine the obsidian but we’ve already been to the nether so and we do have diamonds so it’s so we’re we’re looking for a surface entrance to AK I have to just dig down I don’t know that’s my Base it really didn’t teleport me very far away and uh the world border is not very far from my base either uh can we find a cave can we find an entrance to a cave standardize watermelon build light and enter a nether portal nice oh this looks like a Cave uh underw water cave but it is a cave oh we’re caving we’re in uh I don’t really have any interest in Copper but I would like the iron I think that’s it ah I’ll I don’t think I’m going to do that Right now cuz I not sure that I have the resources what happens next update next update they add copper bulbs which are a very very useful Redstone component that are crafted with copper I’m going to use cop as a decorative block uh said I am going to use copper as a Decorative block said nobody ever it’s not even it’s not even a very like useful decorative block because like if you wanted to use it as a decorative block you need a shitload of copper like the uh like you have to mine so much freaking copper just to get enough for for the Blocks that it’s not even worth it like there’s so many other decorative blocks you could use like right in the twit I am I’m writing you know what I’m I’m putting it on blast I’m putting copper on blast it’s not even worth it it’s not even worth it For the decorative block it’s it is it is the most useless material in vanilla Minecraft in modded Minecraft that’s a different story because literally every mod uses copper in in in modded Minecraft but this isn’t modded Minecraft this is vanilla Minecraft well vanilla Minecraft with plugins but like Didn’t stop people from using lazle or gold uh I I would argue that lapis and gold are significantly more useful than copper um because you use lapis for enchanting and you use gold for rails and golden carrots and uh golden apples and I believe there’s some Redstone stuff that uses gold Too like oh these are the geodes I believe I forget exactly how to harvest these I think it was that yeah yeah amethyst shards but you don’t want to break all these torches it would start spawning more skeletons um and these are very useful for Building um early game skeleton farm so I might uh F3 to show this the cords and take a screenshot I’m not going to not going to break this because uh yeah they’re they’re useful for fun so I’m just going to leave it there and uh take the chests o c Diamond horse armor Gunpowder ah oh name tag I’m now we’ve got a spy glass yeah all right copper isn’t entirely useless but you only really need like one of these So you don’t need a whole lot of copper versus like something like rails or golden carrots where you need a lot of gold for for like that yeah just give him your cords he’s not going to summon the wither there you know I don’t Dazzle I don’t Know if you saw I don’t I don’t know if you were watching Nana’s uh Nana stream but she saw in the weather while we were there and uh I did die from it it it did Kill Me did to kill me um I’m G to get the iron Smon go get the iron smelting and I’m just going to dump off all of this crap all that Ah that’s some good gunpowder there carrot go car chest and we’ll go back and we’ll keep going take the iron take all of the iron I love Iron I’m always hungry for more iron Even in real life even in real life I always like I I have bought steel scraps off of YouTube off YouTube off of eBay um because I have a lathe which I’ve shown on stream because I like when I made the The Lazy Dog um you need uh You need iron iron you need steel or uh Aluminum stock for making stuff on the on the lathe um and so a good source of that is that ow that is a big cave and I dumped my buckets back B I let me grab the buckets then yeah actually I really only need We’re going down hello there yeah ah the new caves look freaking amazing just look at this freaking cool uh I think that’s some gold over there red stone always use more red stone look at the way the Redstone glows with the shaders that look cool oh is that oh ho H ho yeah Baby that’s what we’re looking for we got the diamonds we got the diamonds yeah baby that’s what I’m talking about oh there’s even more even more diamonds hell yeah nine diamonds nice yeah let me just run around this lava over here just uh you know Jump Around precariously around lava just uh you Know you know fight skeletons right up next to Lava with nine diamonds in my inventory I’m probably giving uh hvvc a stroke cuz he’s a like an actual speedrunner so my game play is probably very very suboptimal by the standards of uh speed running but we got some more iron always need more Iron does that sound glow squid okay yeah I’ve got the um I’ve got the subtitles turned on which shows you what sound is playing and it gives you an arrow that shows you where it’s playing which means that even when it’s close to being in audible it gives you a Little bit of help showing you where certain sounds are coming from um very very useful it’s it’s added as a like a um accessibility feature but it’s it’s helpful just in terms of just general gameplay like even though you can hear it it’s useful to have those turned on G I’m surprised there isn’t much going on in terms of the shaders with the gold ore like you’d think that’d be shiny or something um we do have the glow lien though which looks pretty freaking cool if you ask me got a bunch of water here hello creeper oh oh Man so way back in the mines got a pickax swinging Cuz baby tonight creeper’s going to steal all our stuff again come on oh my God that looks freaking cool diamonds so one of the with creepers is they have uh they have a fuse time and the fuse time ticks down when you have uh line of sight between you and The creeper but if you break eye contact it resets the fuse which means uh you can very effectively fight creepers by uh take hitting them and then backing off and getting a block between you and the creeper which resets the fuse um as long as there’s some corner Or something to to actually block the line of sight did I actually mine the Diamond Place yeah yeah and if you’re you’re wondering why I jump when I uh hit Mobs with a sword it’s because you deal a a crit while you’re falling and I forget exactly how much Damage it is but it it’s it’s more damage for a crit I think it was like twice like double damage for crits um I could be wrong on that though it might be like 1.5 or something like that but I I remember it was quite quite a bit more Damage for uh critting on on both on mobs and on players um and then another thing is uh see like a sword will deal seven attack damage a an axe will deal more damage but it’s slower um which is why you’ll often times see people fighting with axes rather than Swords is if you have have it at the ready you can see under the under the Crosshair like right under here there’s like a countdown timer between when you select the item and when it’s able to deal full damage if you swing it too quickly like If you spam click you don’t get the full damage and same goes with axes but because it’s a uh longer cool down it’s a slower attack speed um you don’t get get as many hits in so in terms of DPS swords deal more DPS but per individual hit axes deal more Damage axe does more damage flat but has no slash attack that’s also true which is that uh diam uh swords have the slash which is where you hit mobs and it deals damage to other mobs within the vicinity um and that can be increased with the uh the enchantment sweeping Edge um in particular that’s very very useful for Mob farming where you have uh a large a very large amount of mobs in a very small cluster and you want to deal damage to all of them all at the same time swords are very useful for that Um however a lot of the time you es especially in say PVP you don’t get the opportunity to deal an attack very often and when you do you want to deal as much damage as you possibly can um and for things like that swords are or or axes are actually really really Good um where you’ll see people uh yeah it’s still not quite enough to one shot a creeper unfortunately um however uh do I have any wood on me not on me but if I go back home uh I think I can dump stuff off too not there there there There um something that’s pretty interesting is if we get some couple sticks and some Cobblestone make a stone axe Stone axe has nine attack damage which is the same as a diamond axe it’s just very very slow for individual hits um but what that does mean is that very Very early game when all you have access to is Stone axes are very very very powerful weapons um like compare compare that to a a stone sword uh like stone sword stone sword does five attack damage compared to nine attack damage from a stone axe never make a stone sword like never Ever make a stone sword just make a stone axe no diamond axe does I just hovered over it diamond axe does nine attack damage um it it could have been a custom resource pack it could have been a a custom plugin that changes the attack damage this is vanilla Minecraft and the diamond axe is nine attack damage Stone axe is nine attack attack damage diamond sword is seven attack damage Stone axe deals more damage per hit than a diamond sword a stone axe deals more damage per hit than a diamond sword that’s kind of that’s kind of crazy isn’t it uh So yeah look out look out for people with with stone axes if you’re if you’re doing anything with PVP early game assuming it’s vanilla Minecraft you are just bad attack damage of diamond axe skills that’s your skill uh that’s um you say that but that’s actually true if you consider Crits because like I said if you’re falling when you do an attack it deals a crit which deals you know what let me look at this up Minecraft crit hits crit critical hit uh it is how much the attack deals 150% of the attack’s base damage right so If you crit hit with nine that’s what nine time 1.5 13.5 damage and if I remember correctly uh a full health bar is 20 health because like half a heart is uh one Health Point keep in mind it’s floating point so you can actually have Health that’s between half Hearts which is kind of strange to think of like the health the health that you see on the screen is not necessarily the health that you actually have um but uh 20 minus 13 uh 6.5 no yeah so a crit hit with an with a stone axe will leave you with according to This three and a quarter Hearts left that’s that doesn’t sound right that doesn’t sound right that’s still like a shitload of damage though also I’m level 30 but I don’t have an enchanting setup um maybe that’s what we do now maybe that’s what we do is uh how about we Go fight some hoglands and try to get some leather so I can actually make books um point is point is axes are very good um I do not need that on my bar actually I don’t need it at all let me leave it here I’ll leave this here too here though Um want to get everything I don’t need out of my inventory get out get out get out get out get out get out get out get out of my inventory I don’t need it I don’t want it um diamond shovel I do want the shovel um yeah and I do want end pearls Uh for so we got to find the biome where hogland spawn animation getting shot from he says in a Soul Sand Valley which is the valley which is the biome in which gests most prevalently spawn and in which if you want to build a ghast Farm is the single most Uh useful Farm useful biome in which to build one yeah where am I getting shot at from everywhere everywhere the answer is everywhere all right we got some obsidian and now if I go back through it’ll spawn another portal on the other side right yeah Okay Cool so I just got some free obsidian that way all right so now let’s uh enchanting table woo enchanting table woo enchanting table enchanting table and then we’ll do we’ll build the classic need those to I want to make that even I want to make that even yeah level 30 cool Cool all right so we get some lapis I think the first thing the first thing I always enchant is a good pick so I can get Fortune either fortune or silk touch neither neither we get neither um however in this version uh it doesn’t take all 30 levels it just takes a Few just takes a but I think uh I think that’s definitely some progress getting an actual enchanting setup um yeah I I think that’s a good place to be I think that’s a good place to be for the night uh anything I want to do before s And do you like how it’s asymmetric do you like how it’s uh an even number of blocks across this room but the doorway to the enchanting room is a single block so it’s off center do you like that cuz I really like that I think that’s really really great Um of course this is just a temporary base we’ll be making a better base later on um probably closer to spawn like a like an actual castle or something I don’t know we’ll come up with something but this is just kind of like a temporary little uh living Shack To uh gather resources and whatnot but uh I I think I’m I’m all set for I think I got done what I wanted to get done I think I showed off what I wanted to show off um and I think I think I’m ready to Be done for the night I think that’s uh about as much stream as I’ve got in me for now it’s like 4:30 in the morning and I think I’m about ready to be done I think I’m about ready to be done um so I’m going To uh over to that and I’m going to read names
