Shall we build a tiny castle or a medium Castle nah let’s go bigger let’s build the biggest castle I’ve ever built in Minecraft and we’re going to do it not in Creative but in Survival on my survival multiplayer server but of course we need another Island because We’re surrounded by water so it was time to get down and dirty in Creative Big Balls of stone with the order of the day and we formed them into a giant Island but an island which has got a succession of bridges arched Bridges is what we Want to get to the top of our Island and into our Castle don’t forget to hit that subscribe button because that really helps out these long form videos hey the castle platform was taking shape out of stone and we had some ice around the side of it and we’re going to be adding In a little bit of grass but now it’s time for our bridges these were designed in creative mode but then we had to move over into survival and build them up lots of stone bricks crack stone bricks we even had andesite and the middle the red block there is nether rack which is Quite an incredible block and easy to get so it does Warden us using it for filling up all the spaces inside this castle and we’re going to be doing that for the whole of the project in fact if you want to know how many blocks we needed we needed 100,000 Netherrack Blocks just for this video alone now I did help out collecting these but big shout out to all the amazing builders on the server but look I can actually collect materials myself so what sort of things should we put into this Castle now a drawbridge is a great idea we Don’t actually have a place for it yet but that would be something to add later on a mo well I think we have a mo because we’re on an island a barbin yes this is going to be an outer defense structure or Gateway there’s going to be multiple barin and gate houses Port Cises the vertical sliding Iron Gate will definitely have one of them maybe even a redstone one will make a little note possible Redstone definitely lots of gate towers and even adding some gates and Towers along the bridges I think would be a great idea the central Keep or donon will be one of the main episodes of this little mini castle series a great hall is planned as well and then plenty of living quarters as well for all the castles rulers the curtain walls battlements and towers that is what we’re concentrating on today absolutely a top top priority and Then we can move on to more enjoyable structures like chapels kitchen stables and workshops of course we will need plenty of living quarters that will be probably at the upper regions the higher levels of the castle the whole top area is going to be a giant open courtyard with Plenty of trees probably a well and maybe even we’ll make a little note uh of some Farms as well there we go amazing writing defense mechanisms these will be built in as we go things like Arrow slits maculation s and which are the sort of the up and down bits are of A castle wall they will be put in of course and then murder holes especially on the main entrance maybe even a murder Zone secret passages that would be an excellent idea maybe leading all the way to the library on the other part of our map and then yeah Gardens Courtyards Herbs and Farms will be planted so what do you think about all those ideas used AI chat GPT to tell us what should be in a castle that’s where that big list came from isn’t it fascinating artificial intelligence but a a brilliant list I think and very comprehensive is there Anything missed out I think maybe did I mention dungeons well we don’t actually have any dungeons planned yet but I think that would maybe be something which we could put down inside these towers it’s pretty easy to dig down into Netherrack and we could have prisons and Dungeons and maybe special tickle rooms Inside the big towers So the plan is as you can see the bridge in the bottom right hand corner that leads up out of the bottom left corner now leads up to a path to the front entrance to the castle and we’re kind of building the main Right hand side wall and Towers thinking of uh a good defensive Tower with plenty of crenellations maculations whatever you want to call them battlements to fire down on the approaching enemies having to come over quite narrow Bridges and walk up very very narrow um walkways And roads up and into this Castle oh my goodness we spent a long time working on the gradient of this Castle we’re going from Deep slate uh bricks crack deep slate bricks even deep slate tiles up into things like tough and Cobblestone and andesite and on up into Moss blocks And moss stone bricks and even mossy cobblestone and then interestingly up into red so this is going to be a predominantly red Castle don’t think I’ve seen many of these in Minecraft it’s not just going to have a red core with the Netherrack but we’re going to Be using red wool red terra cotta and even red concrete and you can see I’m going to build one of the main Towers on the corner here and you can really see that well what do you think the red concrete does it work well with the pink Granite that is the big question for today but yeah let’s have a little tour of what we’ve made so far so if we swoop down over the massive Library you really get an idea of the size scale and the colors and the textures being used for This castle that is going to be the way up and in the main way into the castle but let’s quickly start down here my frames per second are a bit low but as you can see we’re working on this route in it’s going to be over these humped or arched Bridges Right here we’ve got room if I can land we’ve got room for some more defensive structures now my first idea if I switch on our blueprint here are these ice towers based on the ice spikes of an ice Spike biome and there’ll be little almost little Lookout rooms on the top What do you think are these enough or should we build bigger structures I’m tempted I think to build bigger structures around these Junction nodes cuz it really is a very uh easy way of making a very defensive approach to the castle let’s zoom up here we’ll take a a Little Landing down here I’m going to switch off there we go we got some frames per second back switch off my blueprints what do you think of our textures and here’s a question for you if you’re building with textures We’ve Got Deep slate bassal tough Cobblestone All the way up into Mossy and then even into red do you because we’ve got this Tower which is high and this Tower which is lower do you start your gradient again or do you have one gradient that kind of runs across the whole castle you can See we’ve had to start our deep slate gradient on that wall again even though we’re kind of past that point on this Tower do you know what I mean where do you start your gradient where do you finish your gradient we were puzzled and we couldn’t actually find the answer out From anyone but there we go what do you think think of our Castle so far do leave some feedback in the comments down below here is a nice list of incredible Builders thank you so much to drips Juke agent sarisin JD Aaron VF DH and WCS you guys are awesome especially since they Helped get all these incredible amounts of blocks I mean look these are full of the world supply of Netherrack for the inside of our walls and our Towers but look you can just look look at any of these and it’s completely full of the most ridiculous amounts of materials Needed love it it’s quite a challenge building in survival um up here we’re going to be having as you can see towers and walls all the way around and we should have if I maybe land on the roof here we should be able to load up let me See if I can just land load up our blue prints now my frames per second might go down a bit but there we go that is our rough plans so far but we do need feedback from you guys in the comment section over there probably the Great Hall over there maybe the throne room the Royal Apartments over here probably some sort of Temple another big tower over there that is going to be the front gate towers as well and then possibly a bridge going between these towers and you can see the path up the way as well But big plans a very curious color system indeed I’m looking forward to this Castle being you know really red to be honest I think it does work and I think it does look really really cool so let’s maybe fly off and take one more look from over Here I don’t know about the ice I don’t know about the snow I don’t know about the red and the granite would you do a castle like this let me know in the comments I we need feedback for this project and uh I’m hoping that you also subscribe to The channel if you aren’t already
