I think Minecraft on YouTube is just a little bit out of control these days there’s countless 100 Days videos even a thousand days there’s giant mega bases there’s Farms that give you thousands of items per hour and those videos are really cool to watch but if you’re

Anything like me I think they kind of suck the joy out of the game and I think that kind of leads into a vicious cycle for those of us who just want to play Minecraft we might boot up the game play a day maybe a couple of days and then

Close out of the game because we feel like we can never amount to the stuff that we see online and that got me thinking recently about why do we enjoy Minecraft for me I think it all really comes down to just the joy of Discovery whether it’s stumbling upon a giant open

Cavern underground or figuring out exactly how a build should go together and feeling inspired to finish it I think that’s so powerful and that’s why today I’ve decided to start a special new world that I want to share with you guys I want to create create something

That I feel attached to not just a giant amalgamation of farms and bases and checking things off a list I want to build a world rich with life filled with history I want to explore the world and tame it and make it something that’s

Someday I guess I think it’s time to figure out where we’re going to set up shop now this spot is really nice with the mountains there in the sunset but I kind of wanted to be further along the river closer to the other Village on the island

So let’s make a little journey back to this little Peninsula I saw sticking out when I was on the top of the mountain yeah see look at this area here we got the mountains on the side one Village to one side the other Village over there

Plenty of open space to build I know when I build a base I have some ideas I want to make something that I can expand off of and kind of update as time goes on I think that would be really fun but that will not happen in a single episode

Like I said we’re taking time to enjoy the journey however I do think it is time to find a little place to set up just for now and I have the perfect idea you know how every person’s first time playing Minecraft they kind of end up building

Like a dirt Hut I want to make one of those but I want to make it just a little bit fancier than a 3X3 block of dirt but in order to do that I’m going to need a couple things so I’m going to gather some resources and then I’ll get the building All right I think I found where I want to build this little dirt Hut is this little Mound here I think where I want to build our base eventually is right behind us there’s the island is Village over there and uh this is where I want

To want to set up shot for now so let’s get building all right look at this welcome to my humble dirt Hut got some barrels out here for some storage because uh inside there’s not a lot of room but it’s cozy we got a bed we got some

Barrels we got some more barrels we got some chests we got a little worktable here’s the shovel that built this place and uh a little furnace to cook our food in and the possibility to expand down and have a little M shaft I think this

Place is going to serve us well as we get started in this world I have big plans let me tell you I can’t wait to make a watchtower appear a giant base well not giant but you know a base over on that island I think it would be super

Fun to terraform the uh Village over here protect it maybe fight a raid off in there I’m going to be sticking around this world for a while like I said I want to make someplace with a rich history I want to make you know lore for
