Hello hello there we go that was better hello and welcome back I didn’t load the stuff ah oopsies um so last time on the Minecraft h100 challenge um I said I was going to do some off camera work and I did I got some of the villagers I Wanted um I got don’t remember if I did the book shells last time I got all of the iron we need for the beacon from our iron farm and I made another map and put a marker of where the stronghold is um but oh and I got a lot of the cats That we need to tame as well so the only cat left to get is the Black Cat from the witch Huds um what else still only have to have get still only have to find a warped forest for hot tourist destinations um and oh my gosh so I got this one with have Efficiency I got this one with depth Strider did I put I put efficiency on the pickaxe and the axe I don’t remember why I put it on the shovel but I put it on the axe because I wanted faster tree chopping to get more emeralds and such from Fletcher Uh so that was an off camera thing and then I put on the axe or the pickaxe because I was doing nether mining which is something else I said I wanted to do um I do have the confession though because unfortunately there were some things I did on accident that I forgot actually Gave you achievements one of them being picking up ancient debris gives you uh what was it hidden in the depths um I AC like I was just going to pick them all up and have them for this time so that I could just craft them into um the netherite to make netherite Gear but when I picked it up I noticed I got the achievement hidden in the depths so I had to go in hardcore there’s no way to set sheets onor world but if you open the menu go to open open to land which is like a open world only for your Wi-Fi or Something like that I don’t remember how land works exactly but you can allow cheats through this menu and then start your world so I had to do that and remove the uh achievements that I accidentally got and um I said achievements plural because I was also AFK in the Overworld When a thunderstorm gave me the achievement surge protector for having the lightning rod in my base protect the villagers from getting struck by lightning so yeah I don’t think I want to do any more off camera work because of of all of the um possible accidents that can Occur look at that that’s already two pieces of a netherite am I running I am running I I always feel slow um I think I almost died as well like hoglands are annoying oh well I’m not really even taking any damage weird the hearts still have that little Like Angry eye eybrows over them so you see that see that speed that’s why I wanted the efficiency before I came down here and mind anything out yeah oh super fast um there is another method for finding ancient debris very quickly in the nether which is uh bed Mining and that entails a lot of wood or the planks and a lot of sheep/ wo um sheep/ string I should say for wool and uh I don’t have the wool part of that I have the tree farm still but I also don’t like that uh uh that option that tactic Because first of all the beds explode in the ne that’s how the mining Works Ah that’s why okay um and I would rather not take any unnecessary damage while in hardcore you know so there’s that I know like if you place a bed if you place a bed here like that And then put a block between you and the bed your feet and the bed specifically I don’t think it would work if you put it up here like that and then you right click the bed from behind the block it’ll explode but the block will absorb all of the Impact and won’t hurt you very much that won’t the explosion won’t hurt you very much um but like in the nether it still sets everything on fire it still opens up lava Pockets that are extremely dangerous with how fast lava flows in the nether so like it’s just not a good Idea not a good idea in general but it’s an even worse idea in hardcore and I opted out of that um just in case in case you’re wondering the tactic for dealing with uh the lava for this mining Strat is as soon as you see lava look down in Mine because lava flows like water in the nether so instead of just going out the three blocks like in the Overworld it goes out eight like water does and it flows as fast as water as well hello so and it’s a liquid physics thing so for Minecraft liquid it will flow towards the Nearest lowest elevation so if I had I have water so I can’t really show you right now cuz if I try to place down water in the nether it’ll just dry up immediately and disappear then I won’t have water silly piglin go away oh more debris so yeah if you come across Lava while you’re mining all you do is immediately look down break the block under the lava and it just stops flowing because the lowest closest lowest elevation is underneath it already then for the zombie piglin you don’t have to worry about them just don’t hit them for Piglins I forgot I had the golden helmet if you’re wearing any gold armor they don’t attack you unless you hit them uh or mine gold or something which is why I left all this gold laying around too but hoglands still attack for baby hoglands all you need Need to do is hit them and then they become scared and they run away and they don’t deal nearly as much damage or knock back as the the grown hoglands the adult hoglands are the scary ones for some reason they weren’t doing much damage earlier but like if You see now the sword icon under my Crosshair means I’m I’m in attack range and I can just hit the thing and it can’t hit me so if you’re two blocks above it it you’re out of its attack range but you can still hit it um or let me show you if You I was kind of worried about the baby piglin or the baby hoglin but if you if you Shield the first strike you can hit it three times before you need to bring up your Shield again um you can I figured out uh in the off camera work that you can actually Um what’s it called back like back pedal back step you can walk away from them backwards and you should be able to stay in range to attack without being in range for them to attack but that’s kind of hard and slightly inconsistent so better just to use a shield anyway Oh yeah that’s something else I did uh since we have all this extra iron now which is another good tactic for early trading is I made a toolsmith with the smithing table and now I can trade oh four to five he well hey don’t really feel like doing that right Now but we can trade all of our extra iron or emeralds instead and now we can go like this how do I not have any leather weird um do I not have any Rock pork chop either okay um four and then I need four and then eight or These oh yeah I need to do the uh Boop oh yeah I fixed the achievements list too I recounted them figured out oh that’s where all the pork is I figured out uh how many achievements there actually are those are the achievements that I counted on this app that helps keep track of Everything but the wiki was saying there’s actually 100 10 or 15 something like that so when we finish what’s on the app we’ll have to go in in game and look at what’s missing uh craft or gold or netherite scrap in any order or combination not combination in any order it has to Be for then we will wait what did they change this oh that’s right oh no they added the freaking stupid I’m upset about like doing this much am I louder now OBS still says volumes are maxed I bumped them up To oh what the desktop who got reset what the heck what happened okay so oh wow okay that actually doesn’t change the volume as much as I was expecting it to maybe if I do like this how’s that is that any better my mic is going into the yellow now The rest of YouTube is louder than VC but you’re much quieter than both me personally or the background as well just me okay let’s Go 350 how about now or actually oh maybe bump it way up then how about that in Advanced Audio properties I am now at desktop audio 250% and mic audio 500 100% that’s louder okay yeah I’m now hitting the red on the OBS bar and if I go too loud it like hits The end and then turns the whole bar red I’ve never seen that before um so what we need to do is go back buy a mending and Unbreaking book from a villager um or from my villagers Pi up my Anvil or make another one and bring those With to immediately put onto the elytra when we find one it’s still nighttime For um I can’t really reach my microphone thingy but I’m pretty sure it’s all the way up as well the volume or the gain or whatever that knob actually does I don’t know uh there are mods I’ve seen but they’re like really old mods um they’re not strictly just night Either and if you really wanted to all you would need to do is just like set the uh set the time to what you wanted and then turn off night cycle day night cycle you can actually do that with commands now so you wouldn’t need a Mod um but there are mods for older versions of Minecraft that like you’d have the first Minecraft day to do whatever the heck you want to plan for the Eternal Night that comes but then once it hits like midnight it turns the day night cycle off and it increases the Mobs uh the mob spawning and I think one of them was a specific like zombie survival thing so it turned all spawns into zombies as well but yeah those do exist you know not to mention the fact that you know we’re kind of at the point where if someone’s thought of it it’s Probably been made probably been done before so yeah um I need put that away put these away buy books let’s see here um Unbreaking not protection Mending and I don’t have a brewing stand for a a cleric villager so I can’t bring bottles of enchanting with me or on the go XP Unbreaking mending uh yeah sure why not we’ll having at the beginning of this series those were the igloo that I Remember and they do still have the basements that I was talking about but they’re only a 5050 the chance to have the basement so the two that I found just didn’t roll properly oh yeah that’s cleared up but back to the silverfish uh they used to have in creative mode a Block that had a silverfish in it already that you could place down and they called it like a monster a monster hatching block or a monster holding block or something like that I don’t remember where is it need to like DeForest this area so that I can find it easier here it Is okay so it’s the butt of my white Arrow has to be on the bottom of the FL flag interesting like this one see how easy this is to blur break compared to this because this one’s actually Stone this one has a silver fish in It or it should have had a silver fish in it what wo got lucky no silverfish spawned as a result of the silverfish getting hurt okay I’m going to do some because even though there’s space and you can see that the cave goes further down you would have to mine your way down because there’s no one by one by Twos for you to fit through Savannah make house heck Okay and back down we go you know I never thought of this before but it’d be it’s extremely beneficial to have a mount like a pig or a horse when traversing like mountains or even just the landscape because if you fall the animal you’re riding takes the fall damage for you You kind of cheesy SL you know like morbid or whatever but uh it works this is going to be whoops a big house a very big house um yeah I really like this entrance and then we can do that I need more um I’m going to put these down as well For more room um I’m going to make chest so that I can hold some more stuff I haven’t eaten one of these yet should probably do that I’ll plant one of these because they’re pretty right there I think will work Okay now where did go horse there you are uh this way ow oh wood to make it sleep and we go good cherry blossoms why is this not deteriorating even the Cherry leaves sound different Where are you going horse get back here oh interesting I took some damage
