Hello and welcome back to let’s build hogwarts the tutorials this is part 27 and part three of the dungeons which we’re going to see if we can finish today maybe we can maybe we can’t we so soon see and after we’ve done the dungeons slithering okay so let’s crack on shall we I’m going to clear my inventory for you guys so i can make it easier to see what i’m getting hold off so we want our usuals uh stone brick cobblestone stone and stone brick stairs i could do for now i have to forgive me i’m full of a cold again today I think i was coming down with it last time and after it’s in full flow now so very sorry okay so in this room the first room is right okay so what we want to do is we want to go over to this room and we essentially want to draw a line From the end of this room to meet the corridor that will show us where you can put your room you don’t want to go any further back this way otherwise you’ll start cutting into that ring so this just gives us our line of view so that we’re not going to accidentally Cut into that room so bring out your stone brick walls to meet that bit and the ceiling i hope you don’t mind me using the fast forwards that i used last time there will be some again in this turn it will be the only way that we might actually get this done today And the floor Okay let’s do one more along there right so we want our first room anywhere along this side go anywhere after so how far along are we we’ve got one two three four five six we’ve got seven i think we’ll add another row on finish that wave on the safe side And we’re well clear of that room so this is going to be the end wall of our room this room needs to be eleven by 15. so this way by 15 blocks don’t count this one because that’s you all so we’ve got one two three four five six Seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen and then add one more to the back wall so we’ve added sixteen onto this end wall i’m going to come out this way 12 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 and use the last one to come back Over this way until we line up i’ve probably done this a backwards way there’s probably a better way of doing this but my brain’s a bit mushy today Okay so we should have 15 here starting from this one so we’ve got one two three 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15. and we want 11 in this bit here so we’ve got one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven And i’m pointing at the screen like you can see it Okay so bitter fast forward time we’re going to fill in the floor we’re going to bring the floor up to meet the room and then we’re going to do the floor of the room okay so fast forward time just so you know we’re coming underneath here like that okay See you on the other side hey Okay so now what we want to do is drop down the walls so this is going to go all the way around so i’m going to do a little bit more fast forwarding i’ll see you in a moment Okay and this room is four high so we currently have one two three so we need to add another two on yep so fast forward time again There we go let’s add a stone ceiling across the top there so we should still have the space of four one two three four that sits at the stone ceiling as forward And that’s it very sorry okay so we’re gonna want some glass down we need to see we currently cannot see i can just about make things out so you want to put two cobblestone and one glowstone in the corners like so One two then if you want to make them higher certainly touch the ceiling like that you can do in fact that looks better doesn’t it i think we’ll go with that there we go Two three okay so if i’ve got my bearings correct this should take us into the corridor so this wall is a total of eleven so go five on either side of the door goes directly in the middle which would be in that one so you should have five on either side One two three four five we do so we want our door spruce door i do like the spruce doors they’re medievally and it’s a medieval castle okay so now we want our spruce oh no we’ll go with oak um oak fences and oak pressure plates and oak stairs We also want some spruce slabs okay and what we’re going to do with this one is there will be a table down here there we go one two three so in my head this is the potions room that slughorn uses so this room it is another potions room but it is The advanced potions group okay so teacher starts there so in this room in our advanced potions room it’s going to be a mixture of theory and practicals that’s not going to give us an even steam is it okay so let’s come in three one two one two three yeah One two three on the other side okay two’s going twos oops two away from this wall two away from this wall and there’s three in the middle so this is the newt level so we’re going to put another row in there i think so it’s we only need one newt level room because There’s not many students that get to the new level as we know okay so decoration time oh no let’s do the slabs first we’re going to put some slabs on the wall like that and over there like that i’ve done that evenly three three four now that’s fast that’s even now So decoration time we want some bookcases We want some item frames oops the glowing kind and the non-glowing kind we want some cauldrons we want some brewing stems we want some potion bottles any potion bottles we’re not going to go nuts on these it’s a good reason for that later so i’m just going to want a couple like that And some chains there are a couple more things which will come back for those so bookcases just put some bookcases in the corner underneath there so because as i said this is both a theory and a practical and we’re going to want some that’s a bit of cauldron about And a couple of brewing stands Oh no that’s not quite right oh right we’re going to take these spruce slabs i’m going to move them up one Starbucks stairs and stone brick i’m obsessed with the word stone brick stairs i don’t know why There we go so we’re just gonna move them up one i’ll show you some down one but we’ll move them down one chains should fit in nicely though i think we’ll put runes down there yep that looks good so same with this side this one’s dropping down level bye Okay so chains over here put a brewing stand on there put a couple of the item frames just along on the edges and we’ve put too many on here because we can put some nice ingredients on the shelves here fill them with your potion bottles They’re going a little bit crooked Okay so now we want some heads So we’re going to get our creeper head and our zombie head but we also want our dragon head because this is mute level so they’re going to work on what advanced equipment that’s here in my head and a player head or a steve head don’t forget the skeleton We could put some bones around currently that’s like an advanced level isn’t it working with bones yeah we’ll have to put the balance in the item frames like that okay i don’t want to overdo it so we’re going to put steve head down and a dragon head With a creeper And on this side we’re gonna put the dragon head and the steve head with a skeleton we can dot some more around skeletons up there zombie and a creep in there get the feeling there should be something on this wall so let’s put see how much we can get on here Oh we might get everything on there there we go oh i quite like that and last but not least some torches Just to put over the door like that i think that looks pretty good so that is our advanced level so we’re going to come out we’re going to need our oak sign and our glowing because i do rather like that glowing And we’re going to put potions classroom my classroom i think this is number four Mute level there students only hey potions classroom for new to level students only this is the most advanced room and we are going to oops we want our torches but we want the soul torches from the outside with the corridors there we go Right so we’re going to bring these walls we need a building blocks stone bricks the stone the cobblestone you know the trail by now still quick stairs So we are essentially going to bring all this out to the end of this corridor now so a bit more fast forward see you in a few Okay so we just put stone brick stairs along the top like we did in the last corridor just gonna throw a little bit of light about about that later i do think this is gonna take two parts i’m afraid okay so what we’re just gonna do is just Knock that out a moment so we can get our bearings we will be replacing it in a moment okay this next room is small but it’s top so we want a total of six adding onto the end here it’s one two three four five six go all the way up Okay and the door so this is wall so that’s a door and we are going seven this way it’s one two three four five six seven and bring it out to meet one as i say this is a small one But we are going up eight so it’s one two three four five six seven eight so that’ll need adding on there so fast forward time do the floor raise up the walls put the new ceiling on this top row here so you should have total of seven one Two three four five six seven once you understand what this room is you can make it taller so fast forward And there we go add a torch there okay so new inventory we need spruce planks we need a ladder we need item frames lots of them we need a door and more potion bottles as many different ones as you want to use like so oh um spruce planks um We’ll come back to that in a minute actually so what we want to do is put our door in and then we get spruce planks um spruce slabs spruce slabs right what we are going to do is we are going to start from this wall One block up i’m going to put that all the way along like so then again make sure there’s one block space and again one block space i think yep and again one block space might have been better making that a little bit higher thinking about it Okay so we’re going to take out this end one and we’re going to replace with the planks same on this side And you’re going to put ladders up them They should be moving ladders but we don’t have moving ladders so now we’re going to take our item frames and we’re going to throw them all over the place three as many places as we can get them in essentially i set foot underneath i don’t really want to do it do we That doesn’t make sense okay that’s a block and a half have i done that wrong i have very sorry that’s why it’s not adding up a block so then this one was going down one more That’s better okay so item frames get them wherever you can you can put them on top on the edges on the floor on the walls just not underneath that’s the only place it won’t be i’ll fix that in a bit Oh So That one’s floating again i had hoped to get a few more on no matter how we come here Right now that we’ve put item frames everywhere we can let’s fix that stone Potion bottles as many different potion bottles as you want or any other potion ingredients because this is snape’s store cupboard we see him in the fourth film stood halfway up the ladder In this and it is described in the books this is where hermione pinches the apologies potion ingredients from So it doesn’t have to be potion bottles you can put anything you want in there you can put redstone in there you can put bones in there um you can put spy design there that’ll go quite well you can put chicken eggs and feathers there’s all sorts of things that you can Put in there i have enderman would that go well Okay i can’t see now Put nether wall that would be a good push ingredient as well wouldn’t it i’m not going to do that on this because that would take a long time we want to get this done don’t we because i know people are anxious to move on to the slytherin Here we go snape’s personal style room And okay we’ll we’re going to extend the corridor let’s get our tools we’ve got stone uh cobblestone and stone brick stairs well as stone bricks so you know the drill just extend it we’re gonna fast forward Okay put our soul torches like so and we’ve got another two rooms to go you know we might actually get this done possibly let me check my time because i forgot to do that again oh 40 minutes hmm but that’s without the fast forwarding so how long is the fast forwarding going To have cut off uh say about 10 minutes we might we might get this done okay so we’ve got one more room on this side we’re going to use that wall we have we’ll have to extend it a bit so this is 9 by 14. The inside of the wall so we want to add 10 on to this one here one two three four five six seven eight nine ten and it’s 14. so we want to add 15 on because we’ve got a wall so it’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 40 15. then bring this in just square it off one two three four five six seven eight nine ten yep so it is right no it’s not nine one two three four five six seven eight nine five fourteen one two three four five six seven eight nine ten seven twelve thirty Forty yes it is it is correct so how high are we going on this one Four so we want to add five off Four five one two three four five and the top one will be ceiling so we should have a gap of one two three four five yeah five will do against the top to be exact we can go with five so we’re going to fast forward a bit again Just put a torch there so we can see raise up the walls so there is five in between don’t forget your floor and the ceiling so fast forward time My [Laughter] [Laughter] so Let’s throw some light about so that we can see doll right so we want some i’m gonna get some gloves down bye I’m going to put some lights up in this corner here And some lights up in this corner here This wall is slightly different because this is snape’s personal office where he’s going to be marking everything stuff like that so it is a little bit more circular so we’re just going to put three rows like That cleaners like that If i think it will come out another one Go yeah that’s better because this is an oval shape Um so we are going to stick some torches Now we want our slabs we want some item frames we want some oak fences pressure plates stairs Bookcases Chests excuse me All right so let’s put a torch up shall we um i want to put the torch there in the middle that’s going a little bit different this time Right so snape has a big desk you know because he shoved harry into it a couple of times vice versa so we’re going to give him a nice big desk we also know that this is where harry did a lot of his detentions if you’ve read the books So we’re going to put a chair there for snape and we’re going to put a couple for his detentionist Because we know snapey occupied very close a couple of bookcases trying to keep him a little bit random a couple of chests okay so we’re going to want our spruce slabs back some potion bottles so i’m gonna have some potion ingredients again not many This is his private office this will be where he’ll keep his most dangerous stuff i would think We’ve got spruce slabs So it’s one two three four five okay let’s bring that down more shall we I kind of don’t want to overdo this room because we’ve got loads of potions about everywhere else To again you can mix up don’t need to put bottles in there right can we fit any paintings about whoops but we can definitely get a coupling now there we go Okay and now we want our door like so so this is snape’s personal office okay Okay fast forward time again we are going to extend this corridor and then we are going to cap it off we’re going to block it off at the end Missing stone brick stairs so fast forward time Starbucks stairs Around the edges like we did last time just stick that there Okay so we want a sign and some glowing And a soul torch so this is going to be professor s smith Oops there we go how are we doing for time 56 minutes without the fast forward i think we’re gonna finish this today we’ve got one room left now this room can be anywhere you want it along here it can be as big as you want it Don’t want to go too big it’s still in room so i think for now let’s see if we can one two three four five six seven eight nine ten one two three four i just want to avoid the arches so we can still put those at um every ten blocks on here Oops And a door We’re not going to put a sign on this one because this one is going to be professor snape’s personal chambers so he’s not gonna want students knocking on the doors on what not that’s what the office is for This place professor certainly is not going to talk anybody knocking on his door Either doll’s real easy okay so how big should we make this room let’s go a nice ten by ten So okay so there’s our door so let’s go for five on either side one two three four five one two three four five yep yeah now let’s go another one so we’ve got six on each side Yeah and we’re going to come out say 10 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10. i think that will do us quite nicely so i think we’ll raise it up to meet the top of the corridor with the stone ceiling in there so you’ve guessed it fast forward time Put in your cobblestone floor your walls and your ceiling Okay so this is snape’s personal chambers you can decorate this anywhere you want well you can decorate any of the rooms anywhere you want how should we do this i’m just trying to remember how i did it okay so i think we’re going to want some Green wall because he is still slithering and some grey wool as well because we don’t want to do too much We’re going to need that torch back i’m going to want Some oak fence uh to want some paintings keep stone bricks there i’m going to want some campfire in fact now change that to deep slate i originally did this before we got deep slate i’ve got some deep slate brick stairs breathe i love the deep sleep the deep sleep is brilliant I wish it would come out before i did my original so what we’re going to do she’s going to build a nice big fire for him here we can get a nice chunky fire in there I’m going to put the stone brick stairs across the top upside down Like so i’m gonna put a few more on the top there in the middle To knock out those three underneath i’m gonna put the campfire in front there thank you for that tip urban with the knocking those bit out because now the smoke looks like it’s rising okey dokey um we’re gonna give him a big green rug with a gray outline Never got like that yep what i’ve got a couple of paintings about too big just knock out a wall there we go Ah look snape’s got draco in his room oh with that noise Okay So centaur does her beds slightly different so we’re gonna have a go at doing the beds the way centaur does them so for that i think we’re going to need some gray carpet as well i’m going to keep up the door because i was done with that i was done with those um And i’m going to go for some oak slabs oh petrified oak stuff what’s the difference oak slab petrified oak slab did it all look the same um some chests for his personal belongings and uh bookcases we’ll put one or two of those about Got to shout at myself and later with all these it’s a lot of editing now never mind put two now like that no we’ll put there we go and then put gray carpet on the top there it looks like a nice great big bed We can raise it up if we want to turn it into a full poster i don’t think we will though i’m going to keep it a little on the plane side snape strikes me as a plane person tables apologies if you can hear that okay so just once a couple of last Little things in here um no we don’t actually i think that’s it i would put some flower pots in that about but snape doesn’t strike me as a flower kind of guy it’s nice and plain slithering colors yep okay that’ll do for professor snape’s personal rooms oh look there’s a butler Okay so we’re almost done how are we for time one hour nine minutes that’s me time with the fast forwarding you’re probably drawing in on the so hour going to finish this off because all we’ve got left to do is the corridor so we want some cobblestone cobblestone stairs cobblestone wall sorry and Some soul lanterns I’m gonna go 10 blocks so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten so you’re the tenth one three cobblestone walls block block block upside down stairs upside down stairs same on this side Upside down stairs upside down stairs and turn again one two three four five six seven eight nine ten and 10 again 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 nine ten Oh now which way should we go i think we’ll go this but now we will go this way make it slightly shorter Fix those stone brick stairs right now take out all the extra lights take out all the extra light oh we forgot mr soul torch off the top of his door where are we for later oh that’s pretty good we will add a little we’ll add three lanterns And one last thing would be cobwebs throw them about like that it’s gonna be lost down here isn’t there can we fit in any in his potions call but it is the potion storm there we go and we’re done potion dungeons corridor number two is complete I think we have just gone slightly over the hour but it’s done i kind of thought that was going to take two and it’s not it’s done so next up is gonna be slithering i know there’s a few of you looking forward to doing that so everything’s going to go down the roof Lots of filling in that later okay and that’s it for me today guys i shall be back next week or on sunday if you’re watching the streams because i’m building this in survival as well if anybody’s
