So do you know Minecraft? That game that /// hah Who am I talking to… everyone here knows what Minecraft is. Most of you have probably spent hours and hours building a bunch of random stuff! This shit came out in 2009, sheesh… I’m getting old. But anyway. Many still play, others enjoy the game but have moved on to greener pastures after playing for so many years. But… Until recently with Edge Runners and other animes that don’t make any sense being released, the world of Japanese entertainment is mixing more and more with things like movies and games That we would never have thought would come together. As the same thing. At the beginning of Minecraft, there was a very cringe mod that became famous for transforming Mobs into little Anime girls and making the game turn into a silly visual novel, if you remember this mod… Welcome to the senile club! heh But have you ever thought otherwise? Instead of having Anime in Minecraft… having Minecraft in Anime? Yep, This game is literally one of the biggest, if not the biggest in the world, of course it will have the opposite way! Have you ever thought if Minecraft had a manga? Yeah, a manga, a real one, published by a Japanese magazine? Heheh… First of all, I think this environment here is not very appropriate for this video… In a game where you make your own fun, several people make their own story to build and elevate what they do to an even higher level An underground library becomes much cooler when you think that it was a place where an ancient race built to study about the secrets of the world through magic but that one day, was invaded by terrible monsters from the depths… Everything with a story becomes more interesting, right? ? Now I just have to find something here that someone told me some time ago… Here! Some time ago I received a recommendation like this: heh A Minecraft manga? hahaha There’s no way, right? Can you imagine? Of course it’s not true… It’s true! Cube Arts is not a parody. It’s for real! It’s a mix of Sword Art Online and Minecraft. Did anyone ask for this? A Minecraft Isekai? Who materialized this in the world? Tomomi Usui, an author who has a very beautiful drawing who has published other mangas before as an artist, but… Cube Arts was the first work that he did completely both the story and the art and it was published in the Comic Bunch magazine in Japan. Have you ever heard of Btooom!? Ya! It’s the same magazine! Cube Arts has the same premise as Sword Art Online, a new VR game is launched Everyone goes to test it and boom they get stuck inside the game. It’s an interesting premise but… due to the popularity of SAO it’s already too common due to the uncontrollable and countless replicas of disgusting Isekai that have spawned since then. *Sigh* Just seeing mention of that cell phone Isekai makes me want to explode. Usually it’s always a medieval fantasy world and all… But in Cube Arts, it’s a little more terrifying. Imagine being stuck in a place where all you look at is a block… Playing is one thing… Living in a place like that must put a lot of people in the asylum just by trying to get on a horse and having to worry about the edge cutting into the your leg instead of knowing how to drive the animal! lol But anyway… We follow Takuto, A high school boy who has just logged into the game to meet his friends who are already a little advanced in the game check out their house: It’s the famous wooden square that everyone has made before! You can see that the author really enjoys Minecraft. It’s not just an eye catcher to try to sell the manga. It turns out that in the game, every two minutes there is a day cycle, so because Takuto took a while to log in, they had already done some stuff and help introduce the boy to the world. We have Shige, the famous otaco of the group. Itsuki, the cool friend and Yu, the guy who enjoys everyone’s presence, but keeps to himself. Basically your standard Minecraft group. You must have played with people like this before. But that’s when they realize they can’t log out of the game… Allright GG. Everyone already knows what happens now, right? Cube Arts is a very… strange story. A story that is, but is not. There’s a lot of good, but there’s a lot of bad. It’s not the best thing in the world, but it’s not even close to the worst either. It’s a fun work to read, but the moment you start taking it seriously… you lose. This is the main defect of Cube Arts. It’s a work that doesn’t know what it wants to be and you can clearly see the author’s inexperience. One moment you’re having fun with how unusual the concept is of the characters exploring the square world, the next they’re enslaving people and abusing girls. Like… WAT? A plot like this was the last thing that should be assimilated with Minecraft, which many children are interested in. In another type of story, It would be something that would give cool motivation to the characters… But for a manga where the characters are stuck in a block game it goes way beyond that moral limit if you know what I mean. It’s very bizarre. It’s not very explicit, but it’s more explicit than it should be for a story like this. But other than that, the rest is pretty good. The author explores things in the game well and is really nice to read. But at the same time it feels like something is missing. Everything is kind of superficial… Yeah, they do a lot of things that everyone has already done before, like making a base, a badass Minecart track. But it’s all very shallow, often it doesn’t even seem like they’re in that square world, that you can create anything. There’s a lack of development of stuff that only in a game like Minecraft happens, the plot of the story solutions that could only be done in THIS story and in no other. Everything shown is very shallow and quickly the author starts to introduce elements that are not part of a cube game. Monsters that aren’t made of blocks, NPCs… Making the story more similar to any Random Isekai out there than a story that has a unique theme, within the Isekai genre. But when the theme is used, it’s really cool! Making bridges to escape and stairs to climb and deal with the monster Is really nice to read, but… Anyway , it could have taken it to a higher level than it was and as everything here has a good and a bad part, one of the main plot points is that they are trapped in the world and if they die, that’s it. But the author doesn’t commit to that. The characters never know if whoever died really died. So neither we who are reading nor the characters take too much into account the gravity of the situations. Their loved ones die, but because they think it’s possible to make them respawn later, No one really cares that the person died, I mean? It’s not something finite, even if we go through the entire story without seeing it happening. It doesn’t have the weight it should. But that’s what Cube Arts is, it’s not something revolutionary But it’s also something that’s really fun to read and it flows very well and the art is really good! There are some parts where the situation with all the cubes is kinda goofy but the characters are very well done in counter balance! Buuut…. Its lack of identity really gets in the way, You’re lost as to whether you should take the story seriously or not because not even the author seems to know. One moment there are extremely silly moments, the next there are situations like the ones I mentioned before. You can’t take seriously the guy going to mine diamonds And meeting with human traffickers and sex offenders in the cave aehuaeh Just saying it out loud like that is kind of ridiculous… In the end, I can’t even say if it’s something you should or not read , but I at least really enjoyed the concept And certain moments have a very pleasant feeling of seeing the characters living in a world that you’ve also lived in several times before and in any case, it’s fun. And in the end, isn’t that what everyone is looking for when they read a manga? Caham. Sometimes a work doesn’t need to be of amazing quality for you to like it. Just being Okay, it’s enough. Not every story will be on the same level as Hunter X Hunter and sometimes just liking a place like this: That have already provided you with hours of good memories It’s enough to let you enjoy a story like Cube Arts. But for now, I think I’d better get back to the surface before the Wardens realize I’m here. There’s something I want to show you there! A looong time ago, my friends and I started this world. We built here for months Many people who passed through my life, left their marks here. But nothing lasts forever problems in life appear, interests change little by little, those who played started to diminish and went on to do other things and I was the only one left. I didn’t care that much to be honest, I still had a lot of fun, even without anyone. I built several cities alone on this map over the course of about 4 or 5 years. It was a long time of my life. Now a long time later, this place is abandoned and no one has touched it for years. It’s a little sad, but this is where… I left it… I think it was in this house… HA You didn’t think there was just one Manga that involves Minecraft, right? Hahaha There’s this one! Hehe…. This atrocity is real and was published in the same magazine as Pokémon. But there’s not enough money you can give me to talk about it. So, right? I don’t know, maybe very young children will like it, but if you’re that young, there’s something better to read than THIS. right? Anyway. We have one more manga that involves Minecraft! I remember leaving it in one of those houses… I think it’s around here… A! No no. I already know where it is. Exactly! There it is! Perfect. Uh, yeah… uh… I had forgotten about that… hmm… so… Yeah… This manga is… it’s another Isekai. And this one doesn’t even try to hide that it is Isekai trash but because it’s like that, the author is quite aware of what story he’s creating and the main character knows exactly what the situation he finds himself in means. This story is G*–**-***ma to *-** Isekai Survival! Here we follow the adventure of Kosuke Shibata. He can do everything that happened in Cube Arts, but here Kosuke is the only one who knows he’s in a game and also the world isn’t all square, it’s more of a fantasy world… Which makes the story a little more cliché, But here there’s another thing that makes the story appealing… He pops out of nowhere in a different world, he doesn’t know what’s going on, but he has to survive. The guy has to find a safe place, get wood, rocks, hunt and so on. At first, it starts like a normal Survivor. But when he discovers he’s in a game it becomes a Survivor like Minecraft press x button and the character does x action. It has inventory, crafting, everything in a little menu in front of him. Is it kinda potatoey? Yeah… but it’s kind of expected in something that takes reference from Mine And is on top of that a random Isekai number 9001. Anyway, during one of the nights he’s suddenly woken up by a girl who at first is hostile, but then as he tries to explain the situation to her she becomes calmer. It turns out that she is an Elf And according to her, a quite famous one for protecting that forest and she offers him to go with her to her house. But there’s a problem. When they arrive in the city, everyone is extremely hostile towards the guy fantasy races who have immense anger against humans. Because it seems that humans make a bunch of bad stuff in that world and so for that human from another world to survive, the only option is to be a slave to the Elf. Haha… I am seeing a pattern here heheh. What a damn fetish for enslaving, like those who play Mine do anything like this. From this last part I said, you must already be suspicious… Come here, sit here. This is an Ecchi, okay? That’s why I censored the title earlier but I won’t completely hide it from you Because most of you are not children and are mature enough to know what you should or shouldn’t read. But I’m also not going to make it clear and easy so that I won’t influence someone young who came by parachute in this video, I don’t feel very good doing that. Mainly because of the topic , but I’m sure that if you really want to know… You’ve already seen it and know how to find it around. But… since we’re talking about stories about Minecraft we kind of have to talk about this one and this work suffers from the same thing as Cube Arts But in a MORE explicit way. If we already find some of the themes that Cube Arts has to be a bit absurd because they are present in something based on Minecraft Yeah… With this one I can only say that what happens in Cube Arts is chill. Have I read everything that was released in this work? Yes. Will I recommend it to you openly? No. Because what I saw cannot be unseen. lol Like, it’s a story that isn’t revolutionary either but it flows nicely and is fun to read. Here, even though the world is not square, The author abuses the idea of Minecraft in real life in a better way. Showing how ridiculous it is and having fun with it all the same! The guy transforms a tree into perfect wooden planks in seconds. Everyone thinks it’s absurd, but for the most part for the main character it’s something normal And that’s where the fun is. But in the same way that Cube Arts doesn’t really know what it wants to be… Here, the quality of the story is higher and intentional but you have the same kind of problem, at one point you’re seeing an interesting story about How the guy is going to survive in a different world using blocks and all. In the other it’s peepee go up and melon go boing out of nowhere. So, right? Part of the story about the square game? Amazing! Part of Ecchi? I don’t like it much, but I don’t see a problem either. But these two things being in the SAME story is very weird! At the end of the day, there’s no telling who exactly should read this. Is it enjoyable? Yeah. It’s just that it’s a fu__ing Ecchi in something based on a children’s game. It’s minimally akward. So that’s it… eh… wait a minute. Allright. I generally don’t talk about Ecchi, being Anime or Mango here on the channel and I don’t intend to either… it’s not something that interests me. But there are times when you find stories that I just have to make a video about! heheh These are all the Manga stories about Minecraft that I know of. It’s actually surprising that they exist. They don’t follow the game 1 by 1 in any way they have lots of creative freedom. Because after all, if it’s not something that officially came out under Mojang’s umbrella, like this thing: It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. But in any case, it is more than evident that the authors were having a lot of fun while telling these stories and anyone who reads and knows about those feelings of playing the game also has a lot of fun reading and that’s great! But it’s still a little immoral to make a Hentai linked to something for children and maybe me making a video like this isn’t much better either. Hehe yeah… I’m sorry if I showed you something traumatizing for you to remember along with THIS guy: When you think about Minecraft. Video Information
