EthDo – How to Spawn Blue Axolotl in Minecraft Java

Hey guys ifto here and in today’s video i’ll be showing you how to spawn the rare blue axolotl mob there are five different varieties of axolotl gold cyan wild leucistic and of course blue of these five types the blue axolotl is by far the rarest while the other

Four varieties each have a 24.98 percent spawn rate the blue variety has just a 0.08 percent spawn rate that’s the equivalent of 1 in 1 200. the reason for this rarity is because the blue axolotl is the only variety not based on real life instead being inspired by the pokemon mudkip

There are also only around 1 200 axolotl left in the wild which this swarm rate also pays homage to as a result you’ll find that the blue axolotls are near enough non-existent in survival mode even spawning them using spawn eggs is very unlikely to ever provide you with the elusive blue variant

So how do you get one the answer is with commands by using the slash summon command you can not only spawn ax throttles but also specify exactly which colour you want in order to enter the command you’ll need cheats enabled to do so pause the game click open to lan

Enable cheats and then start the lan party you can now open the chat and type in the command summon minecraft axolotl variant 4 this will get you your very own blue axolotl if you name your new blue axolotl it will never despawn allowing you to keep it

As a pet this command has to be entered exactly as i just did it with the same capital letters brackets and titles which represent your current coordinates so it’s best to copy it from the description to make sure it’s entered correctly if it’s a different variety you’re after
