In the last stream we were working on not really automating but we were attempting to make our first batch of liquid plastic and we’re also working on turning that liquid plane stick into plastic ingots we did manage to get a couple of them in the last stream However we didn’t get many of them and we kind of came to the realization that if we’re going to want to automate plastic at a reasonable speed and by extension if we’re going to want to get chemical research at a reasonable speed we’re going to need more power and right At the end of the last episode I did float the idea of potentially using some of the oil that we’re generating or pumping I should say out of the ground over here in the compression dynamos in order to produce power the compression Dynamo is a quest here and you can take Oil you can burn it directly in the compression Dynamo or you can refine it into naphtha and then into refined fuel which can then also be burned more efficiently to produce more power in the those dynamos there are also a few other things you can do such as unlock some Augments that make the process of refining the fuel more efficient and also make the compression dynamos more efficient however after some testing in a single player world I don’t really think that it’s going to be worth the effort to invest in oil power the main reason for that is that the Fractionating Stills they use a lot of power right now this one uses 500 Redstone flux per Tech base and if we were to put a hardened up grid kit and then a reinforced upgrade kit onto this fractionating still and that’s even without adding any speed augments it Very quickly jumps up to two three four thousand redstone blocks per tick and gets very expensive to run very quickly and so although the compression dynamos do produce more power they don’t produce that much Excess power once you factor in the amount of power required to Actually process all of the oil and so I think for the time being at least it’s going to be in our best interest to stick with these boilers especially because between streams I have been made aware by remember all the twitch chat that we can actually double the amount Of power that we’re getting from these boilers very easily so it turns out that if we replace the boiler vent which is the guy behind here the thing that we pull steam out of if we replace the boiler vent with a boiler pump then for some reason the boiler is able to Produce twice as much Steam and run twice as many dynamos we can give this a test real quick over here we I might do temporarily to show this office I might kind of just move some of these dynamos over to here and we’ll see if we can run All of them the trouble that we have is that right now these dynamos are not running at Max Speed because they don’t have the Dynamo augments and that does lead me to another issue that I’ve been trying to fix between episodes so between streams what I’ve gone ahead and Done is I’ve crafted up a few more of these thermal expansion machines for all of the all processing lines that have two Ingot outputs so pretty previously we just had one induction smelter one pulverizer and one Redstone furnace all running into a framed drawer now we’ve Got two lines on each of these and underground I have done a little bit of reconfiguring to make all of this work I’m pretty sure this is all set up correctly so we have the same inputs and outputs on the induction smelters here for the Cinnabar and we’ve got power Going to all of these machines I think I do still need to make a few augments like these flux anodizer augments I think some of the newer pulverizers you don’t quite have those yet but once we’ve got those going we should then be able to process two ingots at a time Because as I mentioned I think in the last episode one problem that we’re currently running into is that because we are constantly producing things like nickel ore and because this process here isn’t fast enough to kind of process all of the nickel or faster than it’s coming In we end up in this situation where the nickel keeps coming in and the other item in this case 10 just never gets processed we just end up with the tensing and the crochet never being able to go anywhere because the induction smelter was always full of nickel and Always backing up so the plan here is to use a 2×1 frame to draw to hold the two different kinds of shards for this one I have gone ahead and thrown in an emerald upgrade right now I’ve got this turned on so all of the odds are being Processed and they’re all being dumped into here and then the plan is to grab some item conduits and then to Pump from this framed drawer round into the induction smelters and using the filters that we unlocked in the last episode specifically the item filters here which apparently do require some more Hoppers That’s fine I’m going to make a bunch of these and then we’ll craft up for now just two of those we can take one nickel and one tin and then we can put one of these in here on insert and we can configure that for nickel shards insert and then over here We can do the same thing again we can put in the filter we can filter this for 10 charts and then make sure that’s set to insert not extract over here this is set to extract always active and that should start pulling those shards out and placing them into the correct Induction smelter just so long as the top here is set to input on the right channel which I think it was yes purple should be correct and there we go so now this is going to keep going and we should start to get 10 ingots alongside Nickel ingots now at the moment we don’t have any system to turn the crusher off if this drawer gets full I’m kind of just hoping that this drawer won’t get full I’m hoping that we’re processing it fast enough to where it won’t get full although what I might do is I might just Put a void upgrade in here because with this Emerald upgrade which this is the first one of these I’ve made and they’re not called envelope grids they’re called I think tier five upgrades yeah storage upgrade tier fives these increase the base storage by 32 times the original Amount which means right now each one of these slots can hold 32 700 and and a 68 nickel shots and another 32 000 tin shards and so my thought process really is that if we ever get to a point where we have more than 32 000 shards waiting To be backed up we can probably delete any excess that come in I think that’s probably fine if I really wanted to we could put even more of these Emerald upgrades in because each Emerald upgrade does add like another 32 000 worth of storage capacity and so that that would Work but again that’s before the old processing right this setup here takes the Oz we triple them here with the rich slag we then multiply them by 2.5 here and then we multiply them by two again on the end so if we ever end up in a Situation where we’ve got 32 000 oars sitting around that means that we’re going to have approximately half a million ingot’s worth of shards sitting around and so I am happy to delete any of the excess over half a million if we just happen to have it sitting around in These draws and so real quick I’m gonna do the same for all of the rest of these as well right here we got Platinum which is going to go in like that and then as soon as we get a lead shot through because this is turned off the light Charts will just kind of spew out a little bit we need to catch those and place them into the drawer and then the same is true over here we can take um I assume gold yes gold is here which is not the right side I need to swap these Drawers around let me do this and this we’ll do the same here we’ll put this in we’ll turn that off and we’ll leave that going and again once we get silver shards we can put those in the bottom of the drawer and just like before we’re Gonna do the same thing here with the item conduits and the filters to filter the platinum and the lid to where it needs to go and the gold and the silver to where they need to go all right so I’ve added all of the item conduits and Filters you can see here we’re starting to get silver shards we’ll just put those in the drawer and again much like before those should start backing up we by the looks of it are still processing through the platinum on here eventually the lead charts will start coming Through and we can start working on those as well I do have to add silver of course to the filter here so we start processing the silver as well but I think this system is going to work quite well we do need to make sure of course That we have one of the emerald upgrades in every single one of these for that we do need yet more of these basic templates and so let’s just quickly make basically all of these in the templates at this point so we can make two more of These one is gonna go in here and the other one in here and then I think I did put a void upgrade in this guy I did gotta be careful not to try and pick that up if at all possible but I believe I do need one more void Upgrade to go into this guy and I’m thinking that I might even extend this setup further right now we’re using these three to process two but we’re using these three to all process one however looking a little bit further ahead in the quest book we’ve got a few More ORS coming down the pipeline we’ve got Boron magnesium and lithium and then oil sand doesn’t really have to be processed in the same way but we’ve essentially got three more oars coming down the pipeline and so I might look at changing all three of these into also being a double processing pipelines We’ll see if the question can keep up with that but if it can then I think this will work quite well we are now backing up on iron again which is a very nice indeed um one of the main reasons for that is that we’ve finally got power and Everything running again in last episode we did upgrade our general Chromo theme and we’re also you know backing up on which side and Cinnabar which is all great however between streams I did also go through and put some storage downgrades into these the old roles all of these drawers here are just providing Steel for our mechanics research basically or any other research that requires steel and so basically every single drawer there is just for research has been given a downgrade basically to make sure that we’re not pumping thousands of iron into steel that’s not being used you’ll see we are producing More than enough steel as seen by the fact that we’re actually backing up in these blast furnaces the only one that doesn’t have a downgrade is this one here but this one’s full on steel as well so now we’re no longer sending all of our iron to return it to Steel we Have some iron available for doing other things that actually require iron and so while we wait for this first lead chart to come through let me quickly move all of these steam dynamos over to here the thing I was mentioning by the way I think I got a bit distracted the thing I Was mentioning is that now we should actually be getting silver over here which was the problem before we couldn’t make more Dynamo augments until we got silver because the Dynamo augment this one right here requires basically just silver and Redstone we should have silver coming in again thanks so this Induction smelter if this is configured correctly which it is not but we can fix that of course with the red print shift right click in the air and then let’s right click right click and right click there we go the silver shots coming in and so yeah I’m gonna upgrade these machines I’m Going to move the dynamos over we’ll probably just go ahead and I guess make an extra 20 dynamos as well because I might as well upgrade both of these boilers if we can get them both to produce more power and at that point we should be able to produce like 40 000 Redstone flux per tick between these two boilers which is going to be a substantial power upgrade alright so not too long later all of these are now online and we’re actually getting all of these coming in so tin’s being smelted here and obviously we’re filling up backlogs around the base so it’s not Going like it’s not backing up just yet but it is going into all of our machines around the base to keep things going the same street with lead here it’s being made and the same is true with solver as well that’s been backlogged and sent around to make things like electrum but It is all coming in and so we actually have all that being made now which is good whilst we were doing that I did go ahead and craft up 20 more steam dynamos 20 more reinforced upgrade kits 20 more hardened up quick hits and 20 more turbine augments also I forgot to Mention between streams I did add even more more of the cocoons so we’ve now got tons of Coke Ovens going all the way off into the distance and so now we’re making the cold Coke just that little bit faster and these are of course all connected up using the medium pressure fluid conduits And what I might do here is I might do this all the way down actually like I might replace the flow pumps we have here with more medium pressure fluid conduits because the next thing that we need to do here is if we’re going to get all of these steamed dynamos online much Like we’ve done it before we need to get 20 more of these high pressure outputs every single one of these requires a fluid pump and of course we’ve got a few fluid pumps here that we could repurpose and then that’s basically it I think we also need some more of the high pressure Pipes as well and of course we do need to make the two boiler pumps these guys here the block that’s actually going to allow us to double up the amount of power that we’re producing but yeah basically now I’m going to go ahead I’m going to tethese down I think replace Them with some more of these fluid conduits just for consistency and also to give us these pumps and the pipes to make more high pressure outputs with then we’ll have make 20 high pressure outputs and we’ll get all of the 20 steam dynamos hooked up to hopefully Give us about 40 000 redstone blocks per tick of income at which point we can then start looking at using that to automate the plastic production and then ultimate the next tier of research production which I’m going to do right about here and it turns out we had just Enough space for one more row of research which I put down between episodes um I did move this LV capacitor Bank over the road to this side of the path and reconnected it back up just to free up some space here and so uh yeah the Plan is to use this space to automate the production of all of the stuff required for this next year of research all right and again not too long later we now have 21 high pressure inputs we only need 20 of these but we should now be able to basically do the same thing We did before I think that was right actually it is right yep so we’re gonna put all these down like this we’re gonna place down all of our steam dynamos of course not like that but like this and we’re going to click to the bottom using These high pressure pipes and with 20 of these on each side that should be everything we need for that 40 000. Red Star Fox per tick real quick I do want to point out here I made the wrong blocks I made high pressure inputs when I actually needed high pressure outputs But the twitch chat has saved me by pointing out that you can craft these from high pressure inputs just straight up into high pressure outputs just a heads up all right so quite a while later we now have all faulting of these dynamos down they’re all fully upgraded With the hardened upgrade kit the reinforced upgrade kit the turbine augment and three auxiliary transmission coils now that we have the silver coming in we can actually make all of these coils and so everything is in you’ll notice that right now it’s gonna be tricky to see it I guess because of the Fact that um that we’ve got quite a bit of power but you’ll see that we’re not quite producing the maximum output here however that’s because I’ve just not swapped out this vent yet and it turns out that if we go ahead and make two of these boiler pumps which are super easy To make you can make them with the boil event so I’m going to do is I’m going to steal this boiler vent here quickly upgrade it to a boiler pump using two Pistons apparently we need more Pistons that is fine we did use a lot of them Making all of the high pressure inputs and outputs but we can then do something like this put this back down here and now this should be pumping out enough steam to run all of these at max power when again we’re not going to really see that until we start putting pressure on The system because right now all of this stuff is kind of backing up on power so despite being full on Steam they’re not producing their max power but they will do eventually and thankfully we kind of have the perfect wear of stress testing the system and that is by using these Nuclear craft machines which we can use to really increase our power usage to an incent degree so let’s see then now that we have this extra power if we can’t move this automation over to the research area and get some stuff taken care of so if we want to automate Chemical research we need three things we need plastic frames which are a combination of plastic rods and plastic plates for both of those we can potentially use the metal price although we can use the compactor for the plastic plates but we can’t use the compactor for the plastic rods that is Fine so we need at least one metal press there then we need the pyrolithium dust this is easy enough we’re already making blaze rods automatically thanks to our Blaze data model and we can just craft those or pulverize those interplays powder which our system already knows How to do right now we should have some solver Bank top because you also do get sulfur as a byproduct of pulverizing Belize rods so over here we’ve got 327 sulfur that’s probably not going to be enough to keep going in the long run but What we can do is we can add another loot fabricator here once our Blaze model starts to back up on blazewards we can add a second Loop fabricator and use that to turn some of the blaze data into sulfur as the secondary option there the final thing we need is Advanced Planting which seems kind of fine it’s Redstone it’s plastic plates and basic plating which is just lead and coal the twitch chat does make a good point here actually in that we don’t need a metal press for the plastic rods because of the fact that it’s actually not more Efficient normally it is but here one plastic can get equals two plastic rods whereas here two plastic ingots equals four plastic rods and so we should be able to make them much more efficiently using this method although I’m being told now by the twitch chat that the Plastic rods cannot be made and I just say it here rods cannot be crafted in this question fabricator use another Auto crafter so does that mean they can be crafted in the workbenches this might seem like a crazy solution given that we’ve kind of stopped using these but You’ve got to remember the plastic is going to be coming in very slowly just because of how expensive it is to make from a power standpoint and so if it does work in here which we can find out real quick if I do this this and this it Totally looks like it’s going to work so I think we could use an auto workbench as our plastic production setup which kind of negates the need for a metal press entirely which is quite good because we don’t have a ton of space over here so What I am going to do back over here let me quickly check on how much hydrogen we have we’ve managed to back up a fair amount of hydrogen in this salt mixer here and so what I think I’ll do real quick just so we don’t end up wasting that hydrogen Is I’m just going to move over some of the Nampa here from that into here then it’s going to start using a thousand RF per take we did make some speed manage upgrades last time and so we could potentially put these in not only to make it faster but also to kind Of stress test our system a little bit more even still it’s probably not a super big stress test um right now this is working orbit it’s limited right let me Swap this back let’s change this again to 5 000 particular right now it’s doing 13. we’ll give it access to the full 5000 again that should start processing the oil much much faster it turns out actually though that we don’t need this I I really thought we did the quest book does say that um the fractionating still is required in order to progress it says right here there are two options the Fracturing still or the distillation Tower the formula will get me better fuel but the latter is necessary to create plastic turns out that’s not true we can make plastic from plastic liquid which we get from the ethylene and the oxygen the ethylene requires naphtha and naphtha turns out you could just get in A fractionating still with crude oil so we don’t need this Tower and it’s gonna be a much more compact setup if we in fact just use the fractionating still so I’m gonna do this we’ve got so much hydrogen though I might even look potentially at getting A few more speed energy upgrades to see if we can’t push this even further energy upgrades of course we already have but speed upgrades I think we could make a couple more of these we are backing up nicely online now as well as copper the twitch jet does make A good point we should upgrade our draw for Redstone to a compacting drawer so that we can craft things that require redstone blocks without having to continually manually craft them ourselves that would be ideal unfortunately the integrated dynamic system is limited to 5000 Redstone flux per tick per connector we can of course Put down a second connector if we want to uh to maximize our throughput but for the time being this actually looks like it’s probably fast enough if we just keep doing this we will keep getting ethylene and then we can keep taking that ethylene and putting it in over Here yeah that’s the right place and we do also want to make sure that we don’t take the hydrogen Hill but that we do take out the Ethylene move that over like this and yeah once I’ve got as much plank stick as I can out of this we’ll move This whole setup over to the research area all right so we’ve processed all of the hydrogen we backed up and we now have 40 plastic ingots on top of the two that we had originally which is pretty useful and so now we’re going to take these and we’re gonna try to reset this Up hopefully in a way that’s a little bit more organized over by the new researchers all right so I’ve got a second fractionating still here because as I showed earlier we can now use the fractionating still instead of the distillation Tower to make nap though I Said now we could always do that and so what I’ve done is I put the old fractionating still here this is going to take oil so we’re going to take the fluid exporter that’s currently on the distillation Tower we’re going to put it on here and that is going to take the Crude oil and turn it into an app though then after is then going to get sent over into the salt mixer using the auto export on the fractionating still and then the salt mixer is going to receive that net though along with hydrogen from the electric Riser up here we have the Aircraft accumulator pumping into the electrolyzer this when it gets power we should put cards in here to give that power boom and boom he’s gonna start making the hydrogen and the oxygen that is then of course this also requires that we change the amount here to 5 000 Like that uh to make sure it can actually run and then that’s going to take the hydrogen we’re going to set the downside here to export for the hydrogen uh we can probably do that now I’m pretty sure that this is hydrogen so we want this to be output and then the rest Of these we want to make sure that nothing else outputs to the bottom that way we can set in here we can set this slot to input only from the top like that and we’ll make sure that this is set to insert which it is and you’re Set to extract always active so let’s go pull hydrogen down into here oxygen I believe comes in this slot so we’re going to set that to Output to the right and we’re going to make sure that nothing else does output to the right there we go and then over here that Means that we can set this to extract always active and we can set this to insert so the hydrogen I’m going to go down here get combined with the nap though to make ethylene the oxygen is going to go over here get combined with the ethylene to make liquid plastic and Then that plastic is then going to go down around into this fractionating still like this we’ll make sure that you are set to extract you are set to insert the top of this is set to input and the right hand side is set to output and That is where the plastic is going to go the plastic ingots are going to end up in here in fact we already have some plastic ingots so I’ll do this we’ve got a storage interface on the back here so we can then export this plastic to wherever it needs to go specifically we Need to export it to two places one needs to go to the compactor to make plastic ingots and the other needs to go to an auto workbench to craft up the plastic rods so I’m probably gonna have to move this stuff again although actually we might be able to squeeze This in if I do this and this and I should do the other way around because the workbench doesn’t need power and they come back to does if I put that there I can give it power here on the bank the workbench doesn’t need power so I can put that here and then of course we’re going to use item conduits to extract like this and of course connect to Brand to these don’t need to connect there uh what’s that is to extract on different colors and we’ll set it to round robin and all that good stuff over Here over here we need to give this guy energy that’s gonna be fine energy connector goes down and the card goes in that should start receiving power and then all we need to do is get two item exporters I believe we are in need of more item Interfaces but that is fine and then we’re going to export plastic to both of these the first one down here of course is going to do this uh before we lock that in as per usual I’m going to fill this up entirely with dirt like so we could do this and Then let’s go start making rods that’s perfect and then we’ll do this and this so obviously a redundant amount of cable but it’s okay for the time being and now all we need to do is just tell the system to export plastic to both of these so let me get My logic programmer let’s type in item we do need to have one place that can get honors for it to work and then we’re going to create two cards that basically have the same setup like so we’re going to put one of those up here and one of them down Here nice now the system has exported all the plastic down here that’s because this is not set to input on the right and output on the left which is what we need but we’re going to go ahead and just take some of these out of here and Kind of manually place them into the top you do get a lot more rods than you do plates so I’m going to do it like this and yeah I think that should be basically good to go we of course need a few more energy interfaces we need one Energy interface to go down here to give this guy power of course collect that up and give it a variable we have this variable here for crude oil which is going to be useful if we get another fluid exporter which of course requires another fluid interface that is fine you Can go down I was gonna say here on the side but I guess here makes more sense actually on the back if we just swap that like this and make sure that output’s like that we can then put the cable here and put in this card to tell It to export crude oil from our pump that’s going to start working to make the net though we are going to get tar as a byproduct here and so it’s probably another good good idea for us to take a draw and I just stick it on top of this With a void upgrade to delete any excess tar that might come in because I don’t really think we need this so uh Chen is actually right here this does need power as well and so for that we need another energy exporter and with that in mind we are going to Have to put at least one of these on the front which I think is completely fine if we do this here and like this we already have cables here like on this part of the the setup so having cables here I think is also okay but even if I Wanted to I could um move that underground which I might do actually I might move this to the bottom just to make it look a little cleaner I will set you to Output the yellow to the top and of course we’ll get that aforementioned void upgrade to allow us to delete the Excess tar that comes in and keep this whole system chugging along so this looks like it should be working um obviously this is very very slow we can however kind of leave these in full time I think 28 000 is way too much um already it uses four thousand hours Per tick which is a lot of course we can kind of cover this with energy upgrades like we can put a lot more energy exporters on this to uh to try and maximize the the amount of power that we can send there and then after We’ve got I mean three is the maximum we can put on right we can do this and then we can cover that with cable to uh to connect everything up but we’re gonna have to figure out how many speed and energy upgrades gets us to you know bang On 15 000 hours per tick and that’s a lot of power for for one machine but it definitely is going to be the bottleneck going forward so I do need some more variable cards thankfully we’ve got a ton of them let’s do this let’s do this and then let’s make sure that all Of these are set to 5000 and then let’s see here how many speed upgrades before we hit fifteen thousand the answer is two with three it already goes up to 16 000 which I think is fine we can leave it at this it’s obviously not going to run at Max Speed because of the fact that we can’t send sixteen thousand over at once but it should run at 15 000 with these three attached and hopefully that’s good enough what we could do if we really wanted to is we could try something a little different here if I disconnect This and then I move the aqueous accumulator to here we could set up a secondary channel that extracts on let’s say blue and then inserts here on blue because I think you can both insert and extract from the same side on these machines this input can input here And also output the oxygen here as well so if we set this to insert on Blue that should still receive water from this aqueous accumulator and at that point I think we can then do this and of course make sure that this is set to insert on Green which it is by default so that’s going to receive the oxygen from here and this is going to receive the water from here that frees up an extra side for us to do this and that and so now we can provide the full 16 000 Redstone Fox Per tick to this in fact we can provide up to 20 000 although I have a sneaking suspicion that if we try and add a fourth energy upgrade oh that’s bang on 20 000 okay so that should be perfect now that’s it’s crazy that this one machine is going to use an entire Boiler’s worth of dynamos worth of power but I think this is fine so Plus sheets being made plastic rods are also being made this is good this is good hopefully plastic is being made have we got hydrogen we’ve got an apple here we’ve got the ethylene let’s make Sure that that is set to extract and that in here we’re set to receive on the bottom I’m gonna turn off all these I think yeah shift left clicking deletes Everything at Once which is uh probably easier here extract always active that now has the ethylene and the oxygen and Of course this guy is the last one that needs power let’s do this and I don’t think this needs 5000 but it’s already set to 5000 so that’s fine hopefully that is going to start working I think we might need a bucket’s worth of ethylene for that to work but we should Be pretty much good to go we need one more energy exporter on I keep doing that every time I should really request another big batch of output variable Transformers to make this work but if we do this this and of course this and this that should now I think be Plastic taken care of I’m pretty sure that is good to go now one thing actually I’m going to turn this off real quick because one thing someone did point out to me is that there’s an argument from thermal expansion that increases the chances of a secondary product a Secondary output being made it’s not too difficult it’s bronze on a redstone server we can make a few of these and the idea here is that when we don’t have any bronze that’s fine we do now have copper and thankfully tin is coming in again so we can do something like this Get some more bronze coming in but the plastic ingots are actually a secondary product they’re not the primary product being made if we look at any other recipe for example if we look at the oil here when we turn oil into naphtha the byproduct is tar right the primary Product is naphtha and they’re the byproduct is tar and so what that means is that when we take the liquid plastic the liquid plastic actually turns into oxygen as a primary product and the byproduct that in this case has a 100 chance to occur is plastic but if we put In a couple of these secondary output augment increases that’s actually going to supposedly increase the amount of plastic we get above one purse it should increase it over 100 giving us a chance to get more than one and so what I’m thinking is if we get at least one more Hardened upgrade kit and one more reinforced upgrade kit this is gonna push the power usage up but I think it should be fine and it’s going to show you how much these use which is um is quite a lot but if we do this and this on its own now it uses 1750 but with four of these in I’m hopeful that we have a chance at increasing our output let’s see if that actually works though so I’m going to turn off the output for now and I’m going to make sure this is set to extract always active you’re set to Insert so there’s 500 millibockets that 500 Milli buckets of plastic before would get us two plastic ingots right whereas now I’m hopeful it will get us more let’s find out it did only get us two but it wasn’t extremely quick it was very very quick um that is unfortunate it might not Actually work although we could have just got unlucky who is to say we’ll leave this on output for now and we’ll leave that going so now over here we kind of just need to pick two colors we’ll extract on white for the plastic plates and I guess we’ll do like light Gray I think for the plastic rods and then here we can say you know insert these are not set to always active right no they’re set to never active so we can insert on white and grab our conduit probe and then just copy and paste this All the way down and then we can do the exact same thing for light gray as well we’re going to make sure to do the the white and the light gray on the tiny item inputs because we don’t want to be uh backing up on that I don’t think so here insert on Like Graham copy and then paste paste and paste and so now chat all we need to do is automate the production of the pyrothium and then the advanced plating the advanced plating should probably just be as simple as dropping down a storage drawer putting an item exporter on it and then teaching The system how to craft those plates and then just taking items from that storage draw and distributing them amongst the Crafters I think I’ll be fairly easy and the pyrothium dust as we saw before pretty much the same deal we just teach the system how to make it and then Export it so uh let’s go see if we can’t make that happen shall we and so now chat all we have to do is automate the production of the pyrothium dust and the advanced plating for that I’m fairly certain that the easiest way is going to Be for us to get two more frame draws of course texture those to look like all of the rest of our frame doors over in the framing table boom and boom I’m gonna put one of those down actually I’m going to both those down I guess potentially Let’s say here and here we’re going to lock both of them one of them is going to be for Pyridium and the other one is going to be for that advanced plating both of those can be automated using the integrated Dynamics system and so it should be a simple here as selecting Recipe typing in pyrothium and then shift clicking in that recipe and giving it a card we can then of course take that and because because there is no game stage associated with pyrothium dust we can then place that into one of our crafting interfaces and we now know How to make pylottium dust we can then get an item exporter and then tell our system to export that pyruvium and to craft it if we don’t have any so if we were to put down one of these let’s say right about here and of course connect That up with the logic cable which I don’t think is going to go down because it looks like my inventory is somewhat buggy here usually a middle Mouse clicking there to Salt the inventory somewhat fixes that but in the case where it doesn’t I might have to do a quick disconnect and reconnect And usually that kind of resyncs the server it did nice okay so we’ll put that there let me grab one more item interface here and we’ll put that down on top of the other drawer just to make sure we can get that one going as well We’ll do this and then let’s quickly go ahead and just craft up one pyrothium here to have and then once we have one of course in here we can go item as per usual and incurred this card with the pyrothium dust and then in here if we Say export pyrithium and make sure to set crafting to true I am going to put a storage downgrade in here because of course we don’t want all of our players and all of our sulfur being turned into pyrothium dust or do something like that and something like That and then that’s gonna start making pyrothium dust and it’s going to keep making it until we have 64. we can then of course set this to extract on let’s say red actually let’s go with orange and I am now realizing that I have made a mistake here I’ve set an input for Plastic rods and an input for plastic plates but that’s not what we want to do right we have to first craft those into a plastic frame I was just thinking because if we are going to put pyrotium in I knew we still had the advanced plating and I thought the advanced Plating is a fourth item where the heck am I going to put the advanced plating this makes more sense so we need to kind of reconfigure this a little bit and we need to get either another workbench or we need to get maybe like a sequential fabricator I feel like Another workbench is going to do the job just fine again simply due to the fact that we’re not getting the plastic in that fast and if we’re always already using a workbench for the plastic rods here I feel like having a second workbench for the plastic frames is Going to be completely fine so I do think we’re probably going to want to move these but on the off chance that we don’t I’m gonna put this here and we’re gonna go ahead and of course take a couple of these plastic plates and a couple of these plastic rods and Then in here let’s do one two three four and then before we put the rest in let’s quickly grab of course some dirt and then we’ll do I’m fairly certain it’s gonna look something like this if we do one two three four it totally does nice okay cool boom and Boom that’s gonna start crafting those plastic plates we can then I guess disconnect this here we’ll disconnect this here and we will disconnect this conduit here that’s going to allow us to basically set both of these to extract on green again just the default Channel and then from there we’ll set u to Insert and we can also set these to always active and always active that should start to fill these up and craft up a bunch of the plastic frames and then from there all we need to do is put down some more conduits here and here and of course need to disconnect That before stuff starts getting sent over but here we can then just set this to extract on let’s say white which is actually just before black there and extract always active and so that should start round drop in extracting and sending to all of these researchers and If we quickly grab some more item conduits it also gives us a convenient spot to reattach here and here again we can set this one to extract on red and we’ll set that always active round drop in on and I think what I’ll do actually I’m going to set uh always active off For the time being because at first I want to go insert red and we want to make sure that all of these are set up first otherwise the round robin is not going to do anything because all of the pyrothium is just going to get backed up In this first small input which is not what we want but now we can set that back to always active and we should start to see pyrothium in all of these slots nice so now final piece of the puzzle is of course that plating again I Don’t know if we need to use a sequential fabricator for that we totally do not we don’t nice cool okay that is good to see which means in here we can just go ahead and click on a recipe and once again we can encode the recipe for the basic plating Easy enough and then we can do the exact same thing for the advanced plating now the advanced plating does need plastic plates which is where things are going to get a little bit tricky because we can put both of these in here boom boom boom what we’re gonna have to do is We’re gonna have to siphon some of the plastic plates that are being made in here and make them accessible by the system what I think I’ll do I’m going to get rid of that I’m gonna put another item conduit here I’m gonna set this to export to the top We’re then going to set this to round robin and then I’m gonna get one more storage drawer and my assumption here is that we can texture this real quick and if we set it to round robin it should get about 50 of the plates that are made And then if we put that let’s say here we can then put a storage interface onto that and that and I’m going to lock it of course first before I put a storage interface on otherwise we’re going to end up with a random garbage in there Which is not what we want and the storage interface is called an item interface we can grab an item interface Place stamp on Here and Now essentially what should happen if we set both of these to insert is that half of the plastic plates should go into this Auto workbench to be Crafted into frames and the other half should go to this framed drawer which is accessible by the system and that should allow the system to use those plastic plates in order to make the advanced plating which we’re then going to export over to here now we don’t currently have Any of the advanced plating so we can’t quite set up the the ultra crafting just yet uh one of the reasons for that is that you do not have power well let me do that so that you can start turning that oil into naphtha and as per usual We might as well grab an upgrade kit for that to make sure it can go just a little bit faster it is going to be a bit more expensive on the power front as we saw without other fractionating still on the end there but I think it’s worth It I think that’s probably fast enough right now we do have a backlog of hydrogen that’s just because the hydrogen has been chugging along while we’ve been waiting but that’s not going to keep going indefinitely the electrolyzer is definitely a lot slower than this fraction I think still isn’t So this is going to be the bottleneck even at twenty thousand but it’s not flux fatigue it’s not going to be defractionating still so I can’t help but notice that there is no water going into that electrolyzer have I set the back of this to Output I have not That is my bed there should now be working again it is indeed we’re still making hydrogen which is good down here stuff is being made and done we could make these things of course with more speed and more energy upgrades but again I’m fairly certain that once we’ve Burned through this backlog of hydrogen the electrolytic separator here is going to be by Far and Away the biggest bottleneck to the whole system and we need to make that a lot faster before we think really about upgrading any of this stuff down here we have managed to get Four plastic plates one thing I might do real quick is see if we can’t craft our first Advanced player tank just so we can actually get this set up and then leave it running potentially between streams so I’ll let this go ahead and make four plastic plates we’re going to Take those four plastic plates and place them in here and once we have four in there we should be able to go Bank over to our system and request the first bank to advance plating be made and there it is plit number four let’s dump all of Those into the system and let’s see can we request one batch of advanced plating we can nice and it’s just instantly crafted so we’ll put that in over here and of course we’ll get another item card configured to Advanced plating like so and we’ll place that of course Into here export items and of course we want to set that to true on Crafting so this should be pretty much good to go this one we will go ahead and set two blank and before again I set up to always active over here we’ll change this to Insert on black conduit probe to copy and paste and then if we go back and we set that to extract always active it should start taking that plating it should place it into one of these inputs and it looks like now the problem is not enough energy which is a good question Actually this thing uses 1250 Fe per text I’ve made a slight mistake here in that we might end up losing an advanced placing because we could and we should have put down two of these uh tier 2 energy upgrades first if we did that first then this would require a lot less Power right because it would require 75 less and at 75 less of 1 250 is just over 300. so that would have been ideal but if we break these gearboxes now to replace them with energy upgrade tier 2 is we’re gonna lose the progress that we have we don’t have any progress but We’re going to lose the items that we put in and so what I might do just is a temporary measure because I think this one also is um this one’s missing an input yo also missing an input you’re also missing an input interesting I don’t know where because we had two Plates I feel like one of them should have gone in here and another one should have gone elsewhere oh I’m holding one of the plates Isaac before okay in that case then what I’m gonna do real quick is I’m gonna temporarily throw down an energy exporter onto the top of this like so Then throw down a cable and the connector once that’s down we’ll of course throwing the vocal card and we should see this chugging away very slowly again it does require six million Redstone flux to craft let’s go take a minute there for that to get uh To get done but that for the most part is kind of fine let’s while we wear it go ahead and see about crafting up eight more of those tier 2 energy upgrades so that we can massively reduce the amount of power here required and continue to Use for now at least these LV energy conduits and finally we have our first chemical research nice so I’m gonna go ahead and place that in here while I was waiting for this to get itself made I did go ahead and get another compacting drawer which we can of course connect up To our integrated Dynamics system we need another item interface for that and I have a feeling that yeah we are now completely out of manual chunks which is not ideal which means if we want to get more interfaces we are going to have to chop down more mineral trees and I could Probably do with just going through and chopping all these down a lot along the same lines though we could probably also do with looking at duplicating our current Oak production setup because we can just put a manual sampling in there and then infinitely produce mineral wood which we can then infinitely export to This fluid transposer here to get an infinite amount of manual ideally and it looks like I did not lock this draw let me make sure I do that so we can get the manual in there as it’s made and the other thing that I did while I was Waiting is I also went through and hooked up the output cable so all the way along here we’ve got the cable that takes all of the research from the output slot and puts it into the collecting drawer of course the reason it didn’t pull out this one from here is Because the door is locked the compacting door that is is fully locked over here I think this is working I’m pretty sure that that this here is producing more plastic because of the augment I wonder if we’ll see it in action here I’m not quite sure if we Will you can see here that we’ve now kind of fully burnt through the bank log of hydrogen and we’re definitely banking up on naphtha so there was no need to speed that up at all at this same shoe here as well once this is out we’re Gonna have to wait for more hydrogen to come in but I think it is working I think we are getting more than one Ingot for every 200 millibockets we’ve got 100 Mil buckets here and I’m pretty sure we’re about to get another 500 millibockets because it’s made in Batches of 500 so once this is done let’s see how many we get if it’s not working like if we’re not getting extra we would expect to get three if it is working we are getting extra we would hope to get just anything over three Here it goes this is now done and we got five look at that so we do actually get extra we produced 500 mL buckets uh we had 100 ml buckets in that’s 600 mL buckets and instead of getting three plane stick we got five which is a Pretty good increase I’m very happy with that so let’s go ahead and turn the output back on there to I guess yellow is where we want this output to be to uh to push the plastic that plastic is gonna get taken and should start producing both plastic rods and plastic Plates I guess we probably it didn’t get around Robin exported which I guess is maybe to be expected um again let me try changing this to round robin true I don’t know if this works by the way but I’m gonna try it and then here round robin through if I Put these back in do they split no they still all went to the to the compactor so I guess they’re just gonna go to one of those two which is unfortunate I don’t know if there’s a way for me to actually get round robin using the framed draw there I mean we could Try and move this and use item conduits instead but I think for now this is probably fine ideally we’re gonna get to the point where both of these are kind of backed up on plastic anywhere to get there we are going to have to speed up our electrolyzer quite a bit the real Problem with speeding up our electrolyzer though is kind of power output but also I guess for the most part it’s just um it’s power generation because we are generating 40 000 Redstone flux per tick but at the same time I’m gonna take some more of these Out by the way I don’t think we need that many rods I think we want more plates because the plates are used for both the um the plating and the the framing I think we need a lot more uh going here to the compactor than going To the workbench but um that’s half of our power right there half of our power that we have is being used just in this electrolyzer to turn water into hydrogen deuterium and oxygen one thing we do want to do under side configuration we want to go to the deuterium and we want To say void access now basically when that gets filled it will just delete any excess I’m gonna do the same with oxygen and hydrogen it might become an issue I don’t know if this system is like completely sufficient in that it uses exactly the same amounts of hydrogen and Oxygen it looks like right now we have more oxygen than hydrogen if that is the same all the way through it could be the case that eventually this Banks up on oxygen and if it does we don’t want it completely stopping we want the whole Thing to uh to keep going even if we are deleting any excess oxygen but this I think is basically fully automated the only thing not fully automated I think is the sulfur dust and I guess the oil as well so the oil is only going to keep Going so long as we have oil in this chunk over here they’re always around there and that kind of leads us on to the next bit of the the quest book here the Wither Skeleton data model allows us to automate the production of oil the data model produces I believe oil sand and Then the oil sand can be processed in a pulverizer either with or without the tectonic initiator which is an augment to produce um bitumen you can also just turn it straight into crude oil but you only get 1000 ml buckets if you don’t need to bitumen first that bitumen then Turns into 250 so wait maybe it’s better just putting it straight into the uh the magma Crucible four thousand six thousand yeah I don’t really see much of a benefit here to getting the uh the bitumen first so anyway you can take the oil sand you can turn it into oil and Then that’s you know unlimited oil that we don’t have to keep keep mining for the only trouble there again is power the Wither Skeleton data model I’m fairly certain it’s very expensive on Redstone flux not that we don’t have it but we are going to be starting to Stretch ourselves thin again we could put down another boiler but I’m kind of hopeful that soon potentially before they start the next episode we might be able to get up to 32 of this chemical research if we can we could then look at unlocking a nuclear fission and I think Nuclear fission is hopefully gonna be the next big jump in power for this we do need a lot of all of the researchers but I think we have it we’ve got 24 times eight utility I’m fairly certain we do got 42 we’ve got 60 times eight of The uh production it only needs 32 16×64. we’ve got a 47 and then I think it’s 48 x64 of the green which we have so we just need 32 chemical research which I’m hopeful we can get these are filling up these are filling up and hopefully that advanced plating is also Going to start filling up I can’t help but notice did I set this to extract I did not that’s my bad let me put that back onto uh to Albert there this is set to extract always active round robin we should start to see there we go plastic plates Being sent around and those plastic plates should hopefully get turned into uh interplating we’re going to give him all of these and put them in there we can take our Advanced plating of course stick that in there and that should see even more research being made nice so I Think what we will do is next time we’ll come back if we’ve got the 32 chemical research we can try unlocking the the fission and we can move forward in the quest line here because we’ve got chemical research again this next Quest says DML revengeance the first set of Modules I unlocked were extremely useful for progressing but I’m not done with the technology just yet with this new type of research given to me by plastic I am now able to unlock a brand new model types that are essential for going forward these are also models that Aren’t as important but could still save me an incredible amount of time if I make good use of them so we can take that off and then just like before I’m fairly certain that we don’t necessarily have to actually craft the research for these data models because I’m fairly Certain that if we come back over to here somewhere around here is going to be the the Wither Skeleton 10 data model there it is it’s bottom center so we can put that into craft and then once that’s done I’m also fairly certain that we’ll Be able to do the same thing with the creeper data model as well the creepy data model is in the middle on the right there and boom that’s both of those quests completed we can use the creeper data model to get Boron magnesium and lithium all three of those are from Nuclear craft and those are going to be essential I believe in actually getting fission up and running and so like I said before I think what we’re probably going to look to do is potentially double up a few of these here we’ve got these three and we have three more Ores So I guess it might not be a terrible idea to double up all three of them I might end up moving like copper over to join aluminum so they share a Crusher and then potentially adding one to Copper whichever of these three we need the least of I think we’ll add to the Copper line because copper is always full we have so much copper coming in and then we’ll add one more line for you know magnesium and ball one or whatever it is that we uh we need the most of out of the story and yeah hopefully we’ll start getting those fairly quickly these Are back in you know but again I think that’s completely fine and once we’ve got into the nuclear Edge we’re not too far away I think the nuclear wedge is kind of the final edge of the pack because this is the the fifth out of six research tier so there’s only one more Research tier after this and so we are we are pretty close I did mess up here I have the um the energy tier 2 upgrades for This research but I’ve not put them in yet let me um just temporarily get rid of this I can see that no more Plates have been made yet which is interesting do we have plates in here we do is the system unable to craft these plates for some reason it shouldn’t be it’s been trying to do this craft though for for nearly four minutes now waiting for other jobs to finish modularium casing Is waiting I wonder if modulum casing and or pyrithium are also in here basic plating Advanced plating the Pyro theme is also in there I think the pyrothium might be what’s causing the issue again we’ve got the Redstone we’ve got the sulfur ‘s there Redstone is is over by the the DML Zone but I can’t help but notice that over here we’re not actually getting any um any pyrithium like it’s not in this drawer and I don’t think anymore is being sent around to these guys like we’ve disconnected now so it should be backing up if it was uh still Being made this is done so we should have two research at the very least we do not I thought that was making another research anyway let me quickly uh swap these out just to make sure these are going at the uh the nice lower energy cost and of course we’ll Remove this temporary setup here to get power to this researcher we should be able if this is going to work to reconnect everything back up like so nice uh let me quickly see if I cancel this craft here I assume it’s going to stop making the advanced plating Waiting for other jobs to finish still which is interesting and again we’re still waiting on a machine casing which says it’s been crafted if I cancel the machine casing I don’t know what the machine casing’s been crafted for oh the machine casing was what was causing the Problem I see I’m not quite sure why there was a machine casing being requested there but now that that’s been canceled I assume that if there was a craft yeah here’s the machine casing if there’s a craft in the interface that is waiting to be done no other crafts can Be done until that craft is done and so now that’s done it looks like there isn’t actually a problem with pyrithium the pyrothium is being made just fine there’s also no problem with the plating as well that is also just fine and so boom we can put that back down and we Should start to see all this research coming in and the fact that there’s 12 plating now already means that once all that’s processed we should have 13 chemical research ready to go and I’m fairly confident that if I kind of leave this a little bit between streams we Should be able to get the 32 required and next time like I said we’ll come back for banter nuclear fission reactor but that is a problem for future Isaac for now I’m gonna go ahead and ramp up this episode of Feed the factory there Thank you Video Information
