Um I’ve raised a lot of money for charity while not spending a whole lot of my own money just being fortunate and being lucky right I um I work in finance so I’m very and like good at saving and so then I feel like like whenever I talk about how I like Splurge

A little on my things or something people will be like how can you afford that i’m like [ __ ] I just don’t spend money on anything else it’s not like I’m super rich like yeah I just constantly save I always go well for a rainy day and then it’s like

Wait wait a minute I should probably spend some of this for fun and stuff okay you work in finance you’re going to cringe when I say this um when I left my day job my old day job uh in retail uh I had a 401k

That was set up and uh I closed it last year but closing my 401k and getting that lumpsum check and streaming has dug me out of almost $30,000 in debt in the last 3 years and I’ve traveled I’ve done some crazy stuff so like I’ve set myself up

For success ESS with having no debt and now I’m just like the funny thing that I like to talk about which I’m not saying that is the case for everyone what I am saying is not the case for everyone I want to reiterate it this is not Financial advice this is not Financial

Advice I like grew up with during the the Great Recession so you know my brain wants to say don’t be in debt don’t be in debt don’t be in debt but like through through you know my courses in life and like working in finance I’ve like retrained my brain a little bit

That it’s not the worst thing to be in debt but you need to make sure you have a good ratio of debt and what you’re in debt for needs to be a low mother [ __ ] interest rate so like I’m not paying my mortgage back cuz I do own a

House I’m lucky enough that I live in a state that it’s not insanely overcharged and also um uh uh we have really good State programs that help you get your first house and I’m not paying my mortgage back besides like what I’m required because I did it at the beginning of

2020 I had had a purchase agreement was going to buy a house and then March of 2020 [ __ ] Co hit so all interest rates were extremely low so I do not pay that [ __ ] back any quicker because I will never get a loan for that much money at

That interest rate anytime again like soon well all of my debt was collections with the exception of my car payment right and that’s different yeah but I like I know so many people that are like I got to get out of debt and I’m like what is your

Debt and is really like my car payment is like one [ __ ] 1% because also my I had the worst but also the best timing on getting a [ __ ] new car right and so like it’s like do like why should I pay back something that’s basically no interest like let’s not

Make my life harder than it needs to be so I for everyone in general it is different but yeah debt is not necessarily the worst thing but I also hate being in debt like I want to pay off my student loans as quick as possible even though the rates for my

Student loans are not that bad but yeah just I hate it no I mean I get it I had to I started Freddy by the way if no one said that yeah I he’s going towards um S I was on my finance tangent okay I was homeless uh in January of 2020 so

Like I’ve turned a lot of [ __ ] around so yeah you got to do what works for you yeah for sure that’s why I’m like I’m not really cringing at anything you said especially like you know there’s like four G on everyone’s circumstances are so different yeah and some people literally
