Hello and welcome back to another computer sluggish tutorial I have been asked how do you set up your own minecraft server using your Windows PC well this is actually pretty easy to do all you need to do is head on over to the link that’s in the description below And you will end up on a page that looks like this once you’re on this page you now need to click on this download minecraft server jar file and you need to go save file once the file has finished downloading you now need to go to your desktop and right click and go New folder and you just need to name this folder whatever you want for example I’m just gonna call this my server and once you’ve done that you need to open up the folder and drag the dot jar file into the folder and we now need to right-click in this folder and Go new text document you now need to right-click on the text document and go to edit and we now need to go back to the Minecraft website which we’re just on and copy this command text here you now need to paste it into the text document we just created and you now Need to go file save as and you need to go all files and you just need to save this as run server dot b80 that is extremely important you put b8e and save as type as all files because we’re going to use this to run our server once you’ve done that you Can now press safe and we can close down the text document and just delete that file we don’t need that anymore so you should now have your minecraft.jar file and you should have a run server dot bat you now need to double click on the run Server dot bat and it should create some files within the folder once it’s finished creating the files you now need to right-click on the EUL a dot txt file and go to edit and you just need to change this false to true otherwise the server will not buuut this is extremely important Because the southern will not work at all you need to then go file save and close that down and we can now run the dot bat file also just want to add this in you can actually right click on the bat file and go edit again and take out No GUI and this will give you a graphical interface but I’m just gonna leave it like that for now and we’re now going to double click on our bat file and it will begin to start our server you now need to go allow access once it Has finished we now need to open up minecraft don’t close down this file just minimize it down to the bottom here as this is your server and if you close it then you won’t be able to connect to your server I’m just going to open up minecraft now and go play also this Folder is where your server is so don’t delete the folder unless you want to remove your server because you will always have to run that dot back file to load your server once minecraft has loaded you now need to go on to multiplayer and go to direct connect and Type in localhost you can now press join server and this will connect you to your server and there you go as you can see I am now in my server if you want your friends to connect then you will have to give them your IP address I will put a Link in the description below to a website where you can find out your public IP address but if they do struggle to connect your server then you will need to forward your IP address and I will put a link to one of my videos that show you how to do that as well Below I hope this tutorial helped if it did hit the like button below and subscribe for more computer sluggish tutorials you Video Information

In this Windows Tutorial as requested I will be showing you how to make a Minecraft Server this is pretty straight forward but awesome because it means you can play with your friends on your very own server. This server setup is only compatible with Minecraft: Java Edition.
Download Minecraft Server File Here: https://minecraft.net/en-us/download/server
Find Out Your IP: https://www.ipchicken.com/
Should you want to start the server with it’s graphical user interface you can leave out the “nogui” part.
If your friends can not connect to your Minecraft Server then this means you probably need to port forward the server if you search YouTube for your internet provider then you should find a video on how to do this.
