What’s up everybody welcome back to another episode of green skies – oh yeah is ready to get your mata Skyblock on I know I am okay so let’s get some stuff going today so off-camera I’ve been farming a bit of trees and we got some saplings and with

Those saplings I took him over and I composted them and then I sipped the dirt and we got some stuff so I did end up getting grass seeds I got another sugarcane seed I made some stones all right I got stones and I ended up making some cobblestone out of

That I think we’re gonna need a total of eight of those I can’t remember how many need I think it’s eight or might only be four when you put in the crucible to make lava what we could do let’s go ahead and do this I made some charcoal as well we were

Running low on coal and things like that I want to smelt some stuff so we should get our unfired crucible we should actually fire this thing now let’s go and do that and is there anything else I can cook with the rest of that well I

Guess I’ll throw in some silk worms just so we don’t waste the rest of that charcoal okay so we’ll do that so we’ll get some silk worms cooking up okay so now that we have a crucible we should be able to make a torch yeah I did make another double chest here and

I’m still trying to figure out where kinks are we should be able to make a torch and put that torch underneath the crucible and then make lava out of that stuff um figure out where we should put this thing I mean I guess I could just

Stick it above one of our torches that we already have here so let’s do that so there’s our crucible melting speed 1.0 X which is fine I’m going to take this cobblestone let’s stick in here we want to try and work towards getting a cobblestone generator so if I put that

In there I can’t remember if it’s four or four eight that we need it’s a little cobblestone you know it might only be four pieces of cobblestone to make a bucket of lava we’ll let that go over time I’ll say this other piece of cobblestone

I did have a comment saying that you can take these cobblestone slabs and turn them back into cobblestone but it does not appear that you can do that that is not a thing that you can do in this pack in fact if we go to the uses on here we

Can see we can turn that to a slab furnace or the peddle apothecary for Betania speed analyser or I guess covers from thermodynamics but that is the only recipe so if you’re playing another mod pack they could have custom recipes in there like turning slabs back into cobblestone that is not in this

Particular mod pack I’m great how are we doing over here and it’s gonna take a bit of time right so I think what I want to do is I want to be able to make more dirt so the next thing we should probably look at doing is making a mop

Farm I’m really not sure which way we should go maybe we should go away from the remains of this island or whatever this thing was supposed to be maybe we should go out this direction expand out that way I do have a decent amount of wood here that we could turn into slabs

And make paths and things like that out of we’re also gonna need wood to actually build the mob farm itself this is gonna be a basic one where we go up and we have to manually kill everything it’s not going to be a fall trap yet

We’ll make one of those in the future sometime so the first thing I want to do let’s just get some slabs going so I have material to build out with I’ll do that much more yeah that should be fine okay so we’re gonna expand out a little

Bit I’m not really sure how the Lyoto this is gonna work I kind of feel like all these wood slabs and things like that is gonna be temporary and we’ll come back and replace that with proper material later oh yeah there is that thing down there still really not sure

If we’re going to have any use with those four piece of obsidian are not obsidian bedrock down there I don’t know if we can do anything and remember what was a reactor craft or rotary craft one of those mods i think is rotary craft actually had a ways you get break

Bedrock I don’t know if there’s a thing in this modpack that’ll allow you to do that maybe there’s something in a thaumcraft orthotic tinkerer I don’t even know if thalmic tinkerer is in this pack let’s actually take a look real quick I’m curious stomach energistics which is

Cool I’ve been wanting to mess with this you can use applied energistics width on craft that’s really cool Tomic horizons and thumb crafting he I plugin but yeah it doesn’t look like thermal or um I was reading this uh whatever the other mod was I just talking about doesn’t look like that’s

In the pack okay so Tomic tinkerer that’s what it is wow that word escaped me for a minute so I’m gonna go ahead and build out a little bit I think I’m going to just build like a three wide path is what I’m gonna do we’ll call is that the center

That looks centered centered with that that farm right there well build a three way path about 30 blocks away and then we will start building a mob farm so yeah let me get to that and we’ll be back guys okay guys so for now I think

This is how we’re gonna kind of have this setup I built a little platform about 30 blocks away from our main base and now I’m starting to frame out what’s going to be where the mobs are spawning so this slabs section right in front of me this is their spawning platform I put

Some slabs here so we can step up and kind of get at their feet see them at feet level or whatever we do want to make sure their slabs around the outside slow enough so like zombie pigman are not zombie pigman baby zombies that’s that’s trying to say so baby zombies

Can’t escape um actually I’m going to put some torches here too yeah so what we need to do let’s go ahead and just make this a little bit taller around here and then we can go ahead and put slabs like right here so there’s only going to be a half block

Distance we can still fit in here but when this is all filled out the the mobs the baby zombies and stuff won’t be able to fit out yeah so we’ll just have like a half block distance here so we should be able to punch all the mobs and

Hopefully get to the drops no matter which side we’re on OOP that needs a torch right there that can be bad definitely don’t want mob spawning when expecting them to spawn let’s go ahead and put a plank there as well okay and we’ll just finish off oops I built that

Platform out one too many let’s go ahead and do this here and that there perfect okay so now I just need to raise this up so it’s like well so this has three blocks space in here we do want Endermen to spawn so I can try and kill them and

We also need to cover it up so mobs can spawn during daytime and also I do believe since there’s a slab here and a slab here light won’t be able to pass through so yeah that’s another plus of a design like this so we can have this completely enclosed and even though we

Can hit the mobs they won’t be able to or they’ll still be a lawn regardless of its day time outside or not so I think I need to get myself a ladder let’s go ahead and run over here I guess walk walk over here and we’ll

Grab our ladders there you go yeah we should be able to ladder up the edges and then fill this up higher okay so we will put the ladders on this side for now am i still too close I guess I’m too close right so we want this to be a

Three blocks tall inside so we’re going to go up from here to there and then we’re gonna have a roof on top of that the roof we can just go ahead and make out a slabs which should be fine in fact we’re going to want to add a slab so

Mobs will spawn on that during the day time so I think the next step is I’m going to have to farm some more wood maybe we do want to make sure we have this slab down all the way around yeah we’ll go and do this get down here and

So I can back up a little bit faster oh yeah okay so tell you guys what let me go ahead and finish up a little bit more on this mob farm hopefully we’ll get something going here in just a minute and we will be right back alright guys

So I got the whole thing built and we can see there’s red X’s here if if you had f7 you could turn those on and off that is from nei red x’s mean mobs will spawn regardless of daylight yellow X’s mean mobs only spawn at nighttime

So um I think we’re pretty much good kids we can take a step back and take a look at what this thing looks like yeah it’s not very pretty this is temporary and this will be removed as soon as we get something better but for now this

Will allow us to kill mobs and get their mob drops within a little bit of experience – speaking about experience that sign that I got last episode from the reward bag I placed that down but did have an enchantment on it and I didn’t realize that was enchanted I

Don’t think the sign was glowing and if it was I didn’t really pay attention to it but anyway II had an education enchant on there look we got mob spawning already and I think that about skeleton yeah anyway had the education and Chapman on there and what that does

Increases the amount of experience you get on mob deaths I didn’t know what that enchantment was I thought it was something like the tinkers where you know these tools all always have whatever their modifiers are but nope I lost that in jannat that’s too bad um I

Need a little bit more food that’s raw let’s just go ahead and eat some of this bread okay oh we’re getting bats in there too so the only thing we have really to kill mobs with I believe is our frypan this thing right here this is attack point five hearts which is not

That good to be honest maybe one of these would be better does this have a tank let’s retag +6 attack on the mattock I’m going to use a mattock let’s come over here and kill our first mobs see we got in here as far as mobs go what is that oh this

Has those stupid head crumbs and PCs on here okay I got it so we got a red heart which is cool that’ll help us get more experience later all right not experience health health later okay so there we go we got our first mobs I don’t think it doesn’t look like the

Bats can get out of here – so maybe they’re only a little bit bigger than a half a block tall as well let’s walk around to this side and clicked our Lutz okay that’s dead so great now we get a source of bone meal we got a source of

Rotten flesh that’ll help us make more dirt so we can sift more things build out a tree farm build out some kind of the farmland thing yeah that’s gonna be good all right so I tell you guys what I’m going to farm this a little bit try

And get some trees going so we can build some kind of rails and stuff actually another thing we could do let’s take a look at this crucible real quick so this says it has fluid lava 1,000 Miller buckets that means that’s a full buckets worth so our fired clay bucket

Should be able to move that maybe what we should do is set up a cobblestone generator next hmm okay well I’m gonna farm some mobs real quick get some things going and we will look at sitting up a cobblestone generator so I’ll see you guys in just a

Bit so I’ve been going back and forth waiting for mobs to spawn killing them coming back here wait even the spawn etc etc um my mattock here has gone a bunch of modifiers on it’s got auto repair three so I never have to repair it again

Like gate repair so quickly by the time I go and kill mobs it’s already fully repaired again it did get a thing of quartz on there so it bumped up the attack damage I think two points reinforced one so it has like a ten percent chance of not using durability

When I use it and then it got lapis on there it said 100 percent luck or plus 100 lakh or was that some where did it go off the screen no right here plus 100 luck but it has 103 lapis on there I don’t know um

But yeah that gives us fortune one not looting unfortunately I was kind of hoping it would be both fortune and looting but that doesn’t appear to be the case so I was over here a little bit ago killing some of these mobs like I’ve been doing and for some reason a lot of

The mobs had like sparkly effects on them like fonio particles like all of the mobs in here so I assume there was some kind of a special mob that was in here that was doing something to all of the giving them I don’t know if that was a

Generation or what yeah getting a bunch of bats but bad seem like the most prevalent thing that we’re getting spawned in here okay I just kind of do a quick walk around make sure there’s nothing on the back it we got a bow back

Here okay so that we got a bunch of bows I think I had that in my inventory already forgot to dump that out from the last time but let’s take a look at all the loot that I have collected thus far put all this stuff away and sort it so

Yeah we got enough here I think I could probably combine these let’s try this probably combine these and make a decent bow gonna do that and finally this one yeah that’s not too bad that’s mostly full we did get golden leggings we got reading glasses from I think one of the

Special headcrab mobs or head yeah head crumbs mobs I’m not entirely sure we did get to iron which is awesome we can make an iron sword maybe I might hold on to these I don’t think we need that just yet what else do we got we got this

Uncommon treasure let’s go ahead and use this so that gives us a Golden Apple which is pretty cool 18 gold coins which is essentially two gold ingots and then a potion of regeneration too which is awesome so yeah these reading glasses these are funny-looking hey yep four

Eyes alright let’s go ahead and put those back off oh another thing we also got this bad head that’s like the smallest head every that’s pretty cool so actually no I was gonna say I wonder what happens we put the bad head on and the glasses but you can’t cuz they both

Take up that same spot that would have been hilarious if you could do that but yeah we got in 50 bones already which is really really cool I’ve killed a couple ender man we got some gunpowder lots of good stuff happening over here I think

The next thing that I want to work on now that we got our mob farm all situated uh I want to get that cobblestone production going I think we’re going to end up doing is using the stained clay so that’s probably a good use of this stuff we’re going to need a

Way to actually have lava without it burning down our platforms that we already have and this is where I’m kind of afraid um I don’t know if we have any material let’s see can we do like slabs out of the stained clay is that we can color it so what

Else going to do we do the micro blocks actually that might not be a bad idea so we could build a little platform out of the stained clay out of these micro blocks what does it require for that Oh a diamond oh oh of course it does is

There hold on a second saw I wonder can we cheat the system if we use a saw to cut up planks into like the smallest form do those burn I’m not sure I’m not sure that might be worth doing plink let’s just look real quick I uses

So yeah all of this stuff we can turn into that I’m not sure if I need this biblio craft stuff burns in fact I’m not even sure if these oak barrels burn these are like tile entities they can contain stuff so usually things like that like chests and things along those

Lines can’t burn so this might be something um yeah I just kind of want to get out a little bit from our wood area I can saw yeah okay so this is good forge micro blocks I think I’m gonna try and make a stone saw yeah let’s do this

Also stick then stone tool rot oh we don’t have a stone to make that a key well the only other option then is to use these slabs that we’ve already created for slabs that’s not going to get us very far but we don’t have to get

Super far away let’s just go ahead and build out just a little bit okay so now we need to get some of our clay blocks that we’ve collected all right guys so I decided to cut the video there for a second just to kind of get this laid out a little bit better

Without fumbling around on camera so the way this is going to be set up is we’re going to put water right here in this spot it’s going to flow forward and then down into the void down below okay so we’re going to have flowing water here

Then we have a source block of lava which is going to flow right here so when the flowing lava touches the flowing water we should get a piece of cobblestone right here so at this point I should be able to just mine it and pick it up and things like that although

This stuff breaks fairly quickly with our pick it’s not the best solution but this is going to get us going from right from the start and this is not very safe at all as far as walking around goes but I feel pretty confident that we should be able to start our cobblestone

Production this way so let’s grab water first of all just go ahead through this right over here so yeah there’s our flowing water and then we will grab our bucket of lava which I believe is going to destroy this lava clay bucket once I place it yep it’s gone and there’s our

Cobblestone great so now everything’s right I should just be able to do this and collect a little bit of cobblestone although some of its gonna be going into the void I would really like to get a hopper and things like that but we need to take this cobblestone smash it turn

It into the dust in all that stuff sieve that get our resources and eventually we’ll get iron and all of that to keep going here but yeah first things first we had to get our cobblestone generator going wait does this pick yeah this pick does break that I was almost like it

Wasn’t breaking the clay but it does um so yeah we got a lot of farming to do here guys I need to collect a decent amount of cobblestone also what I could be doing is using this hammer where’s our hammer this guy can use this directly so when I mined the cobblestone

It turns into gravel yeah that’s what it is turned into gravel so that’s one less step that I have to do later especially since we’re planning on saving this stuff out anyway uh but yeah now that we got cobblestone generation I can make more furred

Says I can make more slabs we can smelt in the smooth stone we can do whatever we will need to do with it in fact I think we can also make the grindstone if we wanted to to make flour yeah just a bunch of different things that we can do

Now so that’s really cool that looks like etho has joined the game if you look at the mini-map there we have etho and the bold skeleton over there all right you know what I think it’s time to go kill Ito let’s do this yeah you have

A bunch of mobs over here spawn I don’t think they’re quite within the sweet spot from wearing oh that skeleton right there is all sparkly yeah that’s got me a little concerned that the special mobs I really don’t want to get knocked off into the void and these all my stuff

Down with sparkly oh no that’s the skeleton that guy do he think me if I hit him the bolt Skilton goodness I’m almost afraid to hit him now uh maybe I should put like a backstop up I don’t know if that’s gonna knock me back or

What’s gonna do nothing okay it was just scary for a second I was a free like I hit him it shocked me and knocked me back don’t do that creeper oh man all right so yep let me go ahead and get a few more things done here guys and we’ll

Be back all right guys so I harvested a bunch of gravel from the cobblestone generator by using our hammer and I switched over to you a stone hammer you can see the durability is pretty much gone on this thing right now yeah so I switched over to a stone hammer to get

This going a little bit faster so now I am saving all of the gravel that I made I haven’t looked at my inventory yet I don’t even know what we got I know it is possibly at emeralds and diamonds from gravel have you gotten any nope we did

Get a couple lapis um we got a diesel amount of iron here looks like we can go ahead and wait that’s aluminum and that looks so close to the iron now I thought this used to be a white color maybe they changed it I don’t know we a decent

Amount of oh we just got an emerald suite a decent amount of the iron so we can start upgrading our tools and things like that now another thing I realized this entire episode we’ve been do things but we haven’t looked at our quest book let’s look at a quest book

What we got here for quests with unclaimed rewards so we got some stuff to collect so learning to sky Blanc has two quests with unclaimed rewards and it looks like we’ve actually done some model hunter quests here this has got two unclaimed rewards as well let’s take

A look at the alerting – Skyblock and what have we done mary had a little completed unclaimed reward okay so we need to kill one skeleton and one zombie that was really easy it’ll give us a full heart in a two cow spawn eggs and

We can get a pot or a reward bag now let’s actually look real quick how hard is it to make a pot molten aluminum brass oh wow that’s some honey make a little brass it’s it’s aluminum in what just bronze molten aluminum and copper have we received any copper yet gold platinum

Nickel silver tin oh here we go copper so we could go ahead and do that that doesn’t look too complicated I’m thinking to take the reward bag let’s do it okay so we also had alternative containers completed we I think we complete that last episode I didn’t

Actually claim my reward so we get eight clay that is super super loud so mob hunter let’s go into this one see what we got here so the very first one how big monster is completed this is going to give us Blizz spawn eggs interesting a reward

Bag or half a heart again I’m gonna do the reward bag how’s their inventory doing okay we get plenty of stuff and the zombie attack this is a repeatable quest gives us an emerald for reward and this wants us to kill 20 zombies which I must have done

Okay let’s put some of this stuff away this chest right here I’m going to keep in like our ores and our materials to make Wars and I guess wooden stuff will get a better sorting system going pretty soon lead ores get this stuff Flint that’s good I was kind of worried we

Were running low on that to repair tools and things but now I think we’re gonna be good decent amount of coal all right the cow spawn eggs trying to think what we got here I think I’m gonna put those away for now until we get a mob farm set

Up I’ll go ahead and nom on this heart hardcore mode isn’t enable you to use hqm hardcore to enable it / hqm hardcore you currently have five lives left okay so I guess I should have done this on the start maybe I assume this is supposed to be on but never was turned

On now we got six lives left awesome so we got two more emeralds that we can put in here and we got a couple reward bags let’s check this out this is a basic and I okay we got a basic one then we got a

Good one let’s do the basic all right so that is a little bit of blood magic stuff yeah it’s not too bad not great but not too bad this one gives us a flux capacitor of pedido flux capacitor that’s a little bit of power 16 krf which I guess was

Okay but not that great either I’ll put that down in this one this stuff will put over here I guess okay well we got some stuff done is there like a quest that we can actually complete today maybe we’ll go to learning the Skyblock water from here

That wanted us to make we need resources from that mossy repair uh how do we make Moss stone let’s look at that Moss stone is made by so water wheat oh wow and seven stone okay how we make the ball of moss wow that’s a lot of stone a lot of wheat in

A lot of water to make one ball of moss let’s hold off on that for a little bit until they get a bit more cobblestone and wheat Mead let’s see if we got another quest here that we can do void box so it wants us to make a trash can

Oh that’ll give us a void bag I think the trash can should be relatively easy to make so three stone a chest a three cobblestone okay so let’s melt up eight cobblestone into stone and I’ll grab a piece of coal from where I hid that stuff okay coal eight juleps

Swap eight cobblestone perfect okay so that’s cooking up we needed a chest so I just need eight planks e planks and then it was like some cobblestone down here and then just three stone to cap that off and we will get a trash can I’m not

Entirely sure what a void bag is I assume it’s just like a container we can open up and just dump stuff in which sounds kind of scary actually unless it’s got some kind of like a delete button on there if it’s automatically like you shift-click it in it’s gone

Yeah that’s something I probably don’t want to keep on me let’s try this real quick all right so trash can I could throw things away do I have to detect that actually let’s take a look okay no we got it be words boy bang oh it is something you just

Shift click into do you have anything worth throwing away just to check it out umm I really don’t want to throw anything away let’s throw away a piece of zombie flesh let’s just see what happens okay so it’s just a portable trash can got it well

Put that away I don’t really want that on me this trash can I don’t know if it’s ever gonna get any use it might like when we get an automatic mob farm going and we get too many of one type a mob drop will eventually want those to

Go away trash can is a good way to do that umm automated tedium super crafting frame I’ve no idea what a super crafting frame is actually let’s read the quest the first item for making your crafting life less of a drag is the crafting frame place it on a chest

Barrel or other inventory that contains the resources you want to cramp sneak and left click to open the GUI or GUI whatever you want to say select set the recipe now as long as the inventory has materials you can craft the recipe you input set the recipe now as long as the

Inventory has the materials you can craft the recipe you input ok right click well craft one snake gray click will craft a snap as they will crab the snack I would like to craft a snack craft a stack left-click will break the frame okay so got it so super crafting a frame

And that is made by crafting table with sticks okay so that’s relatively easy to do as well so we will do the thing is that many so crafting table and some sticks like so super crafting frame okay so I’ll give us eight onion wow that’s pretty good and some pumpkin

Pie oh we got to do storing a super item frame will make any connected inventory act like a barrel for the item displayed in it ooh the Super void frame acts like a trash can sneak right click with an item in hand to delete all of them from your

Inventory interesting so super item frame and super void frame super item frame The Dropper so we need a piece of redstone did they collect redstone yet I think at the sift stand for redstone so we can’t do that just yet what about the other one Super void frame ok ender

Pearl we can do that I have collected an ender pearl somewhere it’s over here by all the mobs let’s go grab that real quick I just decided to sieve this four piece of dust that we got earlier on last episode episode before we did get one piece of redstone some sky stone

Dust and some syrtis quartz dust okay so that works for me we’ll go and put those resources up for now except for the one piece of redstone we need that to make the dropper I believe so we’ll go ahead and do that there’s a dropper super crafting what was this the super item

Frame that’s what this is called so yeah we just need a dropper and surround that with sticks and the other one was the ender pearl okay so we just need to make ourselves some sticks we need eight planks I believe I’ll go into you this so there’s a super item frame and a

Pearl there’s a super void frame okay so that wasn’t too bad so looks like we’re all done so with the reward is three pumpkin pies and eat iron awesome so the super item frame will make any connected inventory act like a barrel for the item displayed in it that is

Crazy so what is something with a really small inventory that we can use that on oh maybe I should just make another chest I’m gonna have to farm some more wood I’ve gone through so much wood today but if we can turn a chest into a

Barrel that seems a little cheap to me I just want to try this super item frame shift click okay and then I guess we could put a piece of cobblestone there oh I see so it shows it on the front that goes over there so I wonder how

This is going to work we don’t have anything really that we can put in multiple stacks of I guess well more than a chest full hmm yeah I don’t know how that’s going to work we’ll have to figure that out later but that is really awesome and then we can craft things

Using the super crafting frame so I’d be real easy way to make compressed cobblestone I expect and then the super void frame said that would delete items get a lot of item deletion things today um well I tell you guys what I think we’ve gotten a lot of stuff done we did

A couple rewards we got a mob farm going we got our cobblestone farm going cobblestone generator yeah I think we got a lot of stuff done today I think it’s a good place to call at the end of the episode see it let’s go ahead and
