Iron is one of the most useful things you can have early game in Minecraft whether you’re creating tools crafting armor even late game just making an iron Beacon it will be really nice to have an iron farm to get infinite amount of iron with you doing literally Nothing so in this video I’m going to show you how to make a completely automated iron farm for 1.20 so what you need for this build the following 19 blocks 48 walls two almost three stacks of Spawn prooof blocks for Iron Golems list of Spawn proof blocks in the Des list of Spawn proof blocks in the description below two water buckets a lava bucket three signs of any kind cuz they won’t burn it’s Java cuz Java’s amazing one torch three beds three villagers one zombie and either name tag or an item that prevent the zombie from Despawning now to collect the iron you can either use a hopper and a chest preferably to so you can store more iron but the thing is because we’re using walls some of the iron will get stuck so it’s better to use a mine cart with hopper and a Rail now both of these are pretty much completely iron base like 80% of these are iron so uh you could just do this little setup for like a couple minutes and then switch it to the mine cart with hopper and the rail once you get a little bit Of iron so with all that said let’s jump right into the build start by finding a nice area to build it in dig 4×4 in the ground not 4×4 4×4 by four h this is going to take forever but with the power of editing Done next you will want to lay your beds down right like this then in this corner you’re going to want to place three blocks like this place a water bucket right there and then light this up now you will want to put your villagers in this will be where you put your Zombie but for this Farm to work the villagers do need to sleep at least once and like a full night sleep so you’re going to want to put them in way before you put the zombie in next cover up the hole now that the hole is all filled in We’re going to want to build this three high wall all the way around the farm I forgot to mention this before the blocks here make sure that they are spawnable for Iron Golems because this is where they’re going to spawn so you can’t have an iron golem Farm they’re just you can’t spawn iron Golems this is going to take even longer longer than the hole but we still Have editing next place your signs right here here and here then place your lava right in between them now now because this is Java Edition the signs won’t burn so that’s a plus next you will just place your water in the corner then dig out one right here and one right Here so now if you’re going for the early game setup you can break this block place a double chest chest and then a hopper going into the chest and then just refill it now this will collect most of the iron but not all of it now if you’re going to go with the Hopper and mine cart option just go two blocks down instead of one Place your double chest down a level place your Hopper going into your chest so just shift and place then place your rail on top of and then place your Hopper mine cart on top of the rail ah okay now we just get the wall and fill it back Up and now you see when we go over we will fall into the mine cart but an iron golem is two blocks wide so it won’t fall with the in the little hole but iron will now get absorbed so then this will collect all of the iron And then you can just like throw stairs on they’re not required you can just leave it like this once you get the hopper in then you have to spawn prooof everything around the little farm so go seven blocks out spawn proof blocks in every Direction A Spawn proof oh I’ve got to fix that now it’s spawn prooof so now there’s only one thing left to do get the zombie in I think if I just go yep right here place the zombie the villagers will get scared h they won’t see an iron golem yep we can hear it Now so the villagers see the zombie in the corner get scared panic and they will create an iron golem to protect them from the zombie but it can only spawn up here and the zombie is underground IR go spawns the water will push him in right into corner and if We’re the Iron Golem we’re three blocks tall so our head will be right here in the lava and then our droppings will fall right into the Hop mine cart mineart will send them to the hopper Hopper goes into the chest let’s let this Iron Golem die in peace oh no I’m pushing them Out so with that that’s just it so now you know how to make an iron farm in 1.20 so if you like the the video smash the like button subscribe and ding the little bell notification so you don’t miss a video when it comes out peace Video Information
