INSANE LASER TURRET in Minecraft 1.20 E05 – EPIC Animal Barn Build (Survival)

Hello everybody it’s laser toart once again welcome back to the let’s play series now I know I’ve been very inconsistent with content all right I’ve had a lot of stuff going on in my personal life I’ve decided I’m probably not going to bother talking about anymore I did already make a video

Talking about some various things that were going on things are getting better um but yeah just thought I’d touch on that just so you know what you know what the go is I already introduced everybody in the last video didn’t I I think so we have all of our kitties here

And the one that isn’t named I’ll show you this now I am working on something down here that might be something we do today um but I want to show you something here I don’t know if I showed this in the last video I can’t remember these are the names for

Pets so the first Kitty is named YY then we have isaku zai then uh kir Shima and yeah you get the idea I’m not oh I didn’t mean to press that probably I’m going to have to work on some sort of other storage solution as well I also want to make some Automatic

Farms like a pumpkin melon farm as well as a sugarcan farm but that’s not here or there today what I want to work on today is this Barn cuz have a look at this guys this is just chaos look at this they’re all glitching into each other

Cuz there’s so many in there don’t worry I’m going to get you guys a lovely home so this is where we’re going to put it as usual here where I’ve marked it out just like I did over there with the greenhouse now I’m not sure if I actually showed off the greenhouse good

And proper last time so let’s go in and have a quick look here’s all our crops I replaced these uh doors which I said I was going to do in the video I didn’t replace these though cuz the water would have gone everywhere so I left them as they

Were I realized I could have done this differently but I just didn’t even think about it like I could have water logged a slab or something but I ended up putting slabs like this up here anyway so that works and we’ve got bees we’ve got all the storage and this turned out

Excellent and of course I put the 1.20 stuff in here we are going to get to 1.20 stuff soon as well um because I haven’t done that yet not even normally so anyway guys the plan is to do a bit more building and then next time next episode we can get

On to more Adventure and I plan to be more consistent with the uploads now that I’m feeling better basically I was just feeling lethargic and tied all the time um and I was a bit I was a bit depressed as well but again I already made a video explaining all of that if

You want to go and watch it it’s just called like Channel update or something like that so we have all these mangrove trees which we’re going to oh hi oh don’t you blow up you little bastard see so this is the only problem when you have this kind of stuff Guys

These guys like to hide underneath the canopies of these overgrown trees now I’m going to cut all these down today some dark oak here too we’re probably going to need Spruce I have not come up with a design for this at all by the way I usually never do

That if you guys know me then you know I like to just wing it it’s just how I am I did it with the house I did it with the greenhouse and the greenhouse turned out great despite me winging it I did have to change quite a few things and do

A lot of off camera work and I may have to do that here as well I wish I had the replay mod installed but sadly I don’t so there will not be any replay footage so I apologize for that I do plan to get it installed I have sodium

Installed so I should be a to get it I actually can’t get OptiFine for this version that’s the reason I got on uh I got um sodium installed should be should be pretty good anyway anyway and I should be able to make the replay mod work with

That we’re going to need a lot of strip Spruce for this so I’m going to just work my way up this tree and then from there we should have plenty of wood so let’s get this happening all right so how many is that we have a stack and 28 that should be plenty

Really I’m probably not going to use this like extensively through the build but we we’ll use it a bit anyways I’m actually going to plant another one of these trees I’ve got another one there but I don’t think we need any more of that I think the next one we need is dark

Oak now this is going to be broken down into planks guys so we won’t need as much of this um I’m hoping this might be enough because otherwise we’ll have to go on an adventure and get more but we should be good to go for now and I think it’s time

To start mowing down some of these huge trees now I’ve mentioned in the past if you recall oak trees like the the big are my least favorite type of tree well guess what that has changed now my least favorite tree is is mangrove trees because holy these

Things they’re just on a whole another level when you’re trying to harvest them I think the best way to deal with it is to go from the top down so I’m just going to climb up um I don’t have Smart leaves unfortunately so I can’t actually see through the leaves

Very well like I normally can cuz that’s an OptiFine thing there is actually a thing you can get for sodium which is similar to OptiFine hopefully I’ll have that installed um soon um because I do want to have things like the smart leaves and of course the

Zoom I have actually had to make a spy glass cuz I don’t have zoom available so yeah these propagules guys actually came from a Wandering Trader I actually haven’t found a mangrove yet maybe we we will find one when we go out looking for 1.20 stuff but I have not stumbled upon

One yet and that’s why I decided to uh buy these from the wandering Trader now I have more of these back at the Village but we’ll work on the village together in another episode I worked on that on stream quite a bit I haven’t been over there in a while actually because I

Haven’t really been playing Minecraft much as of uh the past few months let me just do this guys cuz I want this attaching to this tree cuz that would be annoying let’s just do that something yeah okay that’ll decay all on its own now I think so I am going to grab a

Couple of cherry trees now I have these two um I kind of want to leave these here maybe I’ll grab this one instead I love this sound not the leaf sound the wood sound it’s very satisfying you see lovely these are very easy to harvest these trees and they give you a

Lot of saplings as well so I did actually find a Cherry Grove I’ll show you guys that in a future video we’re going to go on a big adventure to look for some more 1.20 stuff together I did it on stream but uh I didn’t do any archaeology or anything

Like that on stream so we’re going to do that together in a video now this is a problem this is the only issue with having so many trees huh it’s a good thing I’m prepared all right guys um I think we’re going to start seeing what type of design we can

Gather here um first thing I’m going to do is just make like a little work chest or something here hopefully I’ll be able to continue providing you guys some good content that’s the plan anyway I plan to be consistent try to make it as good quality as I can um so yeah

Just just uh bear with me you know this is all going to take time it’s not going to happen overnight I do believe there is a branch in there but I’m not even going to bother with it right now I can’t be um we’re going to need some Stone

Variants too I think I’m just trying to think we might need some deep slate we got guys we got that much deep SL slate more deep slate than we can poke a stick at oh I actually have a lot of Mangrove in here damn well we’ll bring this with us

Because this might come in handy uh we’ll bring half of it just cuz and now that’s the uh the warp stem we’re not going to use that grab some of that I could grab fences but I’m I’m not really interested in interested in fences right now some of this stuff away um we’ll

Come back for the decorations and stuff in a minute but what I want to do H do I dare use some bamboo for this I think we do now as far as what we’re doing for a base here this is something I got to try

And figure out I don’t want it to look too out of the ordinary from what we already have as well we actually might need some more of this Cherry but I think we’ll just roll with what we have for now um let’s see so wood is probably the most obvious

Choice to start with maybe some pillars we’ll go with Spruce pillars guys cuz as we got plenty so let’s just start that we do stripped as well so and one more something like that we’ll make it like a bigger door maybe maybe we’ll make like a three wide

Door this might look a little silly yeah it will so I’m going to have to do a double door here instead just to make it consistent and then we need to get up here so let’s just do this should have brought some scaffolding but it’s okay we’ll just do this old school style

Guys considering I’m a an old school player myself maybe not as old school as people like Etho or um Hess Junior for example but I have been playing this game for more than 10 years now at this point so so we’ve got what there should be three

Here three here and then two here that’s actually pretty good and then we want to make maybe some I’ll make some Oak stairs I could have tried birch as well but we’ll try Oak and then maybe here as well cuz this is going to be a big barn

Door using um we’ll use two Spruce doors here and then two Spruce trap doors at the top and then we also want to put one right here where we of course my air conditioner is coming on so please excuse that noise if you can hear it I don’t know if you can

But hopefully not but I apologize if so all right we might need one more in between no that’s a two block Center so that’s not really going to work we could do a double pillar we’re we’re going to run out of wood pretty quick though we’re going to

Need some more wood good thing I planted another tree we can always go and get more as well so what do we think about that does that work or does that not work let’s put this one up so I think that is is that okay or do we not want the

Double pillar cuz I don’t know if I want that or not the other option is to do it this way instead this is why I kind of don’t like building on camera guys especially when I don’t know what I’m doing but cuz I’m just kind of always changing

Things and it’s it does get annoying to watch I reckon that’s a lot better actually having that this like this now it’s going to look a little different on that side and that’s totally fine there’s nothing wrong with it looking a little bit different so that could totally work

We’re starting to get the framework done though so this is cool we’re going to need a lot more of these too but we’re starting to get an idea how this is all going to look as well yeah some of these will be on the bottom as well but not all of

Them I will have to go and get some more of this wood but don’t you guys worry I will do that so let’s just get some of this in here and we’ll get this in here as well all right so that is our frame so far oh boy oh you scared the piss

Out of me dude hello uh I can’t click on you cuz I don’t know where the freaking hell you are there you are you don’t have anything that I need but yeah he did have in place of birch he actually had uh mango so I did buy that from him at one stage

And that’s how I got the mangrove without having the mangrove swamp um I could buy glowstone but it’s not really worth it I may as well just go to theing Nether and grab the glowstone I do have to go to the nether as well at some point because we need um some things

From there so we’re going to need to harvest both of these trees I think to have enough wood for what we’re doing so let’s just do that real quick and we’ll speed through it in first person mode so here we go there we go now that might be enough

Trees enough wood I mean but what we’re going to do is we’re going to cut down down the second one just for good measure and this guy is hiding out underneath ow okay let’s do this again all right beautiful let’s just recollect all the saplings and then we’ll

Replant there really aren’t too many saplings okay I guess I can’t make another mega tree then which is probably for the best because this area is starting to become overgrown with podle which is not great podz is kind of an ugly block so meure that what you will

That’s why I’m keeping it confined to this area though okay let’s see is there going to be enough I just need one more oh there we go perfect so now we actually can make a mega tree right here just in case we need it we might not

Need it but you just never know cuz I do plan on doing a few building projects guys so I am going to need that Spruce cuz Spruce is one of my favorite types of wood we have this guy in the way again just like last time but it’s fine we’ll make it work

Um I think we’re good as far as that Wood’s concerned now put this in here some of the bamboo away um we’re going to need more Oak now I don’t want to cut down all these trees but it looks like I don’t have much of a choice I could go up there

Though you know what we’re going to do we’re going to go up to that tree up there wish I could zoom in but I can’t um and we’re going to cut that tree down we’re going to cut this tree down this tree here maybe I think this

Tree is not a uh yeah it’s a it’s an oak tree but yeah I’m going to try some bamboo wood as well in this build because bamboo wood is pretty sexy actually so hopefully with any luck we can get it actually looking decent in our

Build so this is the pain in the ass right here where you don’t know if there’s any more wood in there now I don’t think there is but it’s worth checking just in case I don’t like leaving floating trees as you guys know that annoys me more

Than anything in the world people used to do it all the time on my uh on my multiplayer realm because they were lazy and not only that they probably knew it annoyed me so they did it on purpose I reckon I I can’t confirm or deny that but I reckon they probably

Did and I know what you’re thinking the solution to that is to just shut the up and not tell him that it annoys you but anyway it it was too late for that anyway so I know that now but I didn’t know that before did

About it I’m just going to get on with me life and you’re going to be a problem aren’t you dude can you please get the out I would greatly appreciate it um let’s go ahead and just do regular Cobble deep slate stairs nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing fancy here hopefully I didn’t

Just waste a bunch of deep slate but you know where I know there’s a ton of deep slate down in the mines so we will definitely head down there and actually uh I’m going to go get some string real quick because I have the bamboo here I may as well make um some

Scaffolding we’ll make that many and then we’ll put the rest away or the string anyway we’ll bring the bamboo with us cuz we may use it I don’t know yet it’s tempting to use bamboo on like the roof but we could even use it for the B doors

For something different I don’t know I just don’t know guys I’m still figuring it out anyway let’s start this roof let’s do something like that and then we want to do something like this and then now we actually do want some slabs just a couple as we get to the top

Here so I want to start rounding it here so I’m actually going to need some slabs for that but for now what we’ll do is we’ll start on this side whoops why am I let’s just get that out of there so I’m not using what I don’t want to

Use what I want to do is start rounding that off with some slabs and I mistakenly didn’t actually keep any the slabs because I’m an idiot so let’s just go fix that real quick all these so basically I’m just going to move it one block forward that’s essentially what I’m doing here

Just moving it one block forward because um yeah I up and I didn’t mean to fall that was a mistake me this is why feather falling is so important guys especially for someone who is Clumsy like myself anywh who um should be fine and I can actually reach that from down

Here which is pretty cool now I need to get rid of that second layer should be pretty easy to do okay beautiful yeah so you actually want it jetted out one block forward I think I did a similar thing on the house didn’t I I can’t remember yeah I

Did and then I did a similar thing here yeah I did pretty much the same thing here so I wanted to do a similar thing I’m actually very happy with that roof shape I thought I was going to have to change it again but I guess I don’t

Because it’s fine the way it is I’m going to try not to be too distracted now you can’t really see this unless it’s from the side and it might look a bit funky from the side I don’t know I might have to put the rest of

This Trim in to see how this is all going to go we’ll do that in a minute but I want to work out my overall roof design First you’re not going to see that first log really you can a little bit ooh I like that I might put a window here though or a planter box or something what do we think a window there just to break that space up other than that I think that’ll work

Perfect that color actually works very very well for a barn I reckon I don’t know why I haven’t seen many people use this wood for this stuff I had to guess it’s probably just cuz they don’t want to gather it in large quantities which is fair enough I completely understand

That um yeah this I might just get rid of this because this doesn’t really need to be here that was are there on that side so I’m going to do the same thing on this side then so we can actually see it through there there we go

It’s a little weird but at least it can be seen and it’s not wasted see it’s a little funky but it it does work I do like how these line up that looks really good um this needs to like I said it just needs a window so it’s coming along guys it’s coming

Along we’ll see if we can get it all done today I will eventually cut the camera out and do more on me own but uh I want to do a little bit more with you guys first cuz I don’t do enough building with you guys

I want to show a bit more of that process I will be definitely cutting some out but there’ll be a lot here still hopefully anyway that’s the plan I think this is supposed to go like that I think we’re going to find out I hope so

Okay yes I think we got that right guys the only thing I will do is fill this in because it looks a little weird is it here oh no it’s not is that how it is on both sides that’s am I positive I didn’t do anything wrong I don’t know I don’t think

So I don’t think I don’t think I am well we’re gonna just keep rolling with it anyways and I actually should have left that there because this is going to continue but it was the wrong way anyway wasn’t it so let’s just keep it like that and then we just need to do

One more similar thing on the small piece so I think that works now this is going to be a bit more triangle shaped and that’s totally fine we’ll just do that maybe I don’t know nah we won’t do that we’ll leave that open cuz it looks silly otherwise oh no we could

Do not like that ignore me pay no heed there we go so this is going to be a little bit less rounded and a little bit more triangular and it’s odd from the other side and I did that on purpose guys I want to have this look asymmetrical on

Purpose let’s just grab the rest of our bamboo and then we’ll turn all this into planks real quick because this is awesome and then we make as many as we can which isn’t very many so I’m going to need a lot more but at least got

Guys this is going to look really cool I don’t know why no one else has thought of this it literally looks like that like it’s perfect for a barn roof I reckon so that’s one whole side done and this side is going to be a little bit

Different so we’ll still do the full blocks here but this is going to be different all together together because we have to start going that way Too whoops that was an accident so I’m going to have to replant that [Applause] now I still have plenty more of this I can gather but I’m going to do that off camera if I need any more I don’t want to waste too much time doing it with you

Guys because I’d rather be spending this time building instead so let’s go ahead and make all the bamboo blocks we can exactly a stack and then what we need is to make these into planks and then what we’ll do is we’ll make one lot of uh stairs real

Quick and we should have plenty to do what we need to do now this needs a full block sake here we go yeah this should be sitting a half block above which it is so that’s awesome there we go so that’s what it now looks like Let’s Take a Look From Below

And we can get rid of this cuz we don’t need to be up here no more maybe when I’m detailing I’ll get back up there but not now I think we should start working on the yard around the barn as well cuz there’s going to be a yard that goes

Right out to here where these trees are and then comes back in all right so here’s what it’s looking like so far guys what do you reckon honestly I think it looks pretty cool like with this color here again it just needs a little bit more interest in

This spot but I love the color transition just here it looks really really good and the roof I’m the most happy with the roof actually looks so good for a barn roof it was a little tricky making it work here but as you can see we definitely did make it

Work and I think that is very good small Interruption my alarm for my medication was going off so please excuse me um I would cut that out but yeah that’s what happen so I I forget what I was saying as far as these trap doors go

That’s what I was going to say something to do with these um you no not like that you silly bastard if we go from the outside and then no how are we going to make this work that’s something I didn’t think about oh like that okay

And then you just do the same from the top what do we think about that I actually like that but anyways you guys get the point I could have done something different here too I may do that we’ll see but I do like the idea of using

These because I think they work quite well and I think once I do all the detailing it’s not going to look so boring that’s that now I’m not sure what we’re going to do in here we could do storage or something this isn’t going to be a

Very big space just here but it’ll work and then it’s just a matter of fences and Gates I may just do a single gate there and we’ll do a double gate here actually we’ll just leave this as is actually we can put a horse or something in there can’t we and I will

Double I will double gate that so we’ll do that then these only need a single gate because um it’s only for normal animals there we go so then we put stuff in here we could just do fences in here honestly what do we think just for now if we want to change

It we can I don’t want to do everything exactly the same like I don’t want to put the trap doors in because then it’s just too too much the same so maybe if we do something like that that could work right I think we should go inside

Cuz this is not safe let’s go inside and then we’ll come back and have another look and we’ll be a to continue on what do we think that looks good I actually really like that and I really like the idea with the trap doors too down the

Bottom but I do think this one should be different let’s try this one being different and then we can put this on this side instead right have to do it from the outside eventually we’ll fill that in but for now we’ll do this on this part

And we’ll do the same over here in between these and then we’ll do trap doors here what do we think I think it works all all right hopefully with any luck that’s enough wood for now I’m just going to make as many as I can really

With these just to see probably going to need more we’ll see whoops especially need more if I keep doing that but anyway now the problem is it does look quite flat from the inside but I’m not really that worried about that I can always do other things to make it

Better so I’m not really worried about that to be honest I’ll work out some other solution in my own time I think well I’m going to make barrels let’s make some barrels how do you make barrels again I forgot oh yeah all right um anyways just do something like this and

Like this and then like this good enough there we have it oh and I need to make this a bit safer too so but I need to be able to get through here so maybe this will work just like oops just like this and then I’ll still be able to get

Through there will I yes what if I put a slab underneath that I bet I bet that’s going to block my progress yep that’s going to stop my progress so you know what that’s totally fine just like that it makes it a bit safer it’s a little weird looking though

And actually that’s because I don’t need really need it there really all we need is that um let’s do this because I think what I might do before I do that though I’m just going to make a quick mine cart chest and we’ll stuff that up there

Somewhere I need to make a piece of rail too which is kind of annoying but we’ll just make a piece of rail so we can place it where are we going to place this I’m not really sure probably here honestly this is something I seen Z

Pixel do and then she did something like this whoops and then just push it into a corner or something that’ll work that’s not really what I wanted to do but that’ll be fine it’ll work just fine that will do for now I’ll make the rest eventually

I do know we’re going to need a lot more than that but it’s totally fine should be enough for me to just at least plant out this yard and have it go where I want it to go so let’s just do this if you haven’t watched Z pixel I think you need

To cuz she is awesome makes some really cool builds very relaxing atmosphere about our videos as well so I definitely recommend giving her a watch if you haven’t already I’d easily say she’s one of my favorite Minecraft youtubers now so yeah anyways yeah this is kind of

Random what I’m doing now it’s not really it’s not really with any plan or anything I’m just kind of doing something like that I think it just looks a lot nicer do you know what I mean this needs to be fixed there we go I almost forgot where my bedroom [Laughter]
