Insane Minecraft 1.21 Trial Chambers Gameplay – Can You Survive?

Bojang have just added the brand new 1.21 trial Chambers in the latest snapshots this is a new dungeon style structure for players to test their survival skills on you will have to Traverse through corridors challenge the brand new trial spawners and hope that you get rewarded and not trapped it is

Also home to the brand new Breeze mob which can only currently spawn via a trial spawner these will be found as you go deeper into the dungeon one of the trial spawners introduces skeletons that will be summoned with poison tipped arrows making this challenge a little

Bit more difficult but if you make it through you will be rewarded with things like emeralds or the Brand New Key item oh and you’re probably best off taking leather boots with you because one of these rooms is covered completely in powdered snow and if skeletons spawn in

This room they will be converted into Strays welcome everyone my name is eeko and in today’s Minecraft video we’re going to be taking on a trial spawner we’re going to be doing it in survival as if you were just playing a regular Minecraft world I’m just here with my

Mate the breeze I’m going to teach you everything you need to know about this mob today now this video I’m not here to go over all the technical stuff all the other YouTubers have done that if you haven’t seen what it’s all about I would highly recommend checking out watles or

Zuma void they do a great job of explaining it I’m here to share what it would be like as a survival player but we do have a couple of facts that you need to know one thing I would like to mention that other YouTubers didn’t really cover is

That the trial Chambers is going to be a challenge that you take on during mid game so you’re highly likely going to be full iron and probably on the look for diamonds you might even already have full diamond armor let me share a few details about the breeze mob this boy

Can leap in incredibly high now according to the official change log this thing will try and leap closer if not over its Targets in this video it’s me I had a lot of questions about the wind projectile yes you can hit this back very similar to the way you can hit

A gas projectile back at itself now I was typically using a bow and arrow when I tried to use a trien it didn’t seem to do any damage to it at all but again I was just doing some very basic testing in this video now remember when you do

Fight this you’re going to be fighting it underground so it’s not going to have as much room as this to move I actually think the trial Chambers are a little bit too small for this mob and I hope that it can be spawned in different locations in terms of what it drops well

The first thing is you got to catch this thing it is incredibly fast I would highly recommend some kind of swiftness potion but in Minecraft it currently doesn’t drop anything at all and that’s probably going to be subject to change maybe you guys can comment Down Below on

What you think the breeze should drop is it just me or do the Bree’s eyes look like fireflies everywhere I go I just see her face I’m done wasting your time anyway trial key can be obtained it can be obtained via the trial spawner as of right now the trial key doesn’t do

Anything at all maybe you guys have some idea on what you think this could possibly do or be used for a couple of the common uh ideas people have been saying is that it could be used to unlock the trial spawner because of course after you’ve defeated a trial

Spawner you have a wait time of 30 minutes other people have speculated that this is going to be linked to some kind of chest inside of the deep dark ancient cities only time will tell with this one but the key itself does look like the face on the trial spawner they

Look the exact same throughout the trial Chambers there are a total of 10 different trial spawners that can be found but remember not every single trial chamber is going to be the same there are many different iterations of this so you could go to multiple different ones and never find a specific

Spawner but let’s go through them if you see a trial Spawner in this formation with the newly introduced chiseled tough that is going to be a breeze spawner the husk one it will be covered in chiseled Sandstone this is what it looks like they are all covered in chiseled copper

I don’t know if it’s actually waxed or not I’m just using this because of course it will oxidize the next one we have which is a slime one would be covered in Moss blocks another one is going to be zombies and baby zombies spawner yes these ones will be covered

In in mossy cobblestone there is actually going to be a place that you can find baby zombies constantly spawning the next one which I’m yet to find to be honest with you is if it’s found uh covered in stone bricks it’s a silverfish spawner now things start to

Get interesting the next one we have is the cave spider spawner it will be covered in regular Stone it will have podil and it will have red mushrooms around it in a very similar formation to this a regular spider spawner will be just regular Stone and covered in cobweb

So remember the difference cave spider will be Stone and podil and mushroom so if you’re close to dying and you feel like Poison’s going to be tipping you over the edge then yes keep away from this one another one we have is skeletons with poison tipped arrows and

I can tell you this one is a pain so this one again is covered in bone blocks once again podil and once again a mushroom will be found there regular the skeleton spawner will be bone blocks in this formation and then another one I’m yet to find is a straight spawner which

Will be packed ice but remember I showed you at the start of this video that there is a specific room that’s covered in powdered snow which will convert skeletons into Strays I don’t think there is a right or wrong way to enter a trial chamber you’re going to stumble

Across this by mistake the same way you stumble across strongholds or M shafts or dungeons we do have a skeleton rudely interrupting us here but what I will say is a lot of people have been saying that this tree is basically like a starter point so this is where we are going to

Be starting in today’s video now I have catered what I’m wearing and using to my survival needs mid game this is what I would consider mid game people play very differently a lot of Minecraft players they load into a game and they go and get diamonds straight away so of course

It’s obviously subject to uh change matter of opinion of how people play Minecraft some people might not even be this geared mid game anyway let’s get started at the tree of Truth what I’m going to call this and I just want to explore this so again starting location

You have an axe which to be honest with you is pretty useful because of this one reason so obviously like keeping an axe on you is going to be pretty useful there’s a couple more things inside of there as well I think this might well be used to do this maybe

Aha yes so if you wanted to keep it fully lit you could do that now you are going to stumble across a lot of chests and again at a starter point you can see here how much stuff you can get I’m going to carry as much as I can but

Trust me my inventory is going to fill up very very fast in fact I don’t even think I need that many torches I don’t need a shield I will keep a water bucket now the loot that we can get is subject to change and it is going to change and

I noticed a little bit of a secret room down here right so if we just mine these blocks a minute this will take you to this passageway I I I guess there just one way you could enter it if you really wanted to now there was already a

Spawner and they are different every single time so we’re just going to enter this and I do see a spawner here and this one’s going to be skeletons okay they’re not currently spawning everything just yet now we do have the pots now remember the developers introduce the PO amethyst shards are one

Thing that you can find now I’ve seen this room a couple times so if you do see these grates just sticking out they enter another room where you could then sleep if you wanted to if you wanted to take this on and there’s a couple of the

Goodies and we got again the the straight away we’ve got enchanted books in terms of destroying these um they take like 5 minutes to do you will find barrels this is currently on cool down the cool down is 30 minutes so if we wanted to come back with friends 30

Minutes later we could do that let’s see what we can find H couple of to a little bit of torches got some of these it’s got some arrows which would be pretty helpful to be honest with you I do see a chest over there aha we got some tipped

Arrows I really love the factor of not having to bring torches absolutely everywhere now this should have a hat it does there’s another room in here let me tell you this is probably one of the hardest rooms now one thing I will say about this though from my experience is

You’ve just seen it firsthand there they they keep fighting with each other right like all the skeletons end up just constantly killing each other to a point where I don’t need to do anything at all they they just kill each other for you make sure we heal up here though see

What I mean there we go get rid of him some of the best loot can be found in this room and it’s quite early on before you enter the chambers too there you go he’s going to hit him for me at this point i’ let these guys

Kill each other and I’ll just keep healing up a little bit oh oh oh quite a few of these guys here knock him down a little bit your Shields are going to take a hell of a beaten in this he’s dead he’s dead obviously the more players you have in here this

Room’s going to be chaotic for sure uh we got ourselves some SN great in that one this one did produce iron projectile I think I’ve got a little bit better there Iron um that’s I still got a little bit better there but there’s so much loot from this oh ender pearls is

Something that you can get dead one more get rid of him he should be dead and that should be enough here we go we got Loot and it’s another key so while we’re here right you’ll notice that the dispensers well this is just lingering potion of healing some of them are traps

Some of them are not snowball you could consider that a trap that one’s I don’t think that’s a trap in my opinion down here this one has water my opinion quite helpful and some snowballs this is probably one of the biggest corridors that I’ve discovered so far producing

Quite a few things here so barrels we don’t need that we do have a spawner up there that one is a skeleton one going to get rid of him real quick only going to be a select amount there we do have another room here now it goes down that

One goes down so they do take you to there’s a baby zombie somewhere these guys are a menace they are a menace to deal with so be careful with these guys there must be there must be a couple spawners you can see how crazy this can get incredibly fast I’m just going to

Heal up a little bit I think at this point I probably keep myself some golden apples who I didn’t know they could climb he’s coming up with me there we go we got we got like two or three spawners that we have to take on here I’m going to clear out there’s

Another one there’s another baby one going to kill me no he’s not we’re okay for now see what I mean and how challenges this can be I think an Apple’s probably a good point right now all right let’s go back down one two dead so imagine how chaotic this will

Get with like three or four or five friends if it’s this chaotic on my own I did kind of say in my live stream it was quite easy but it’s it’s definitely not not easy at all I’m not focusing on the loot that we get from the spawners

Because I don’t think they’re going to produce anything exciting oh I just broke this one and it produced a couple of emerald blocks I did see another room this way which is a door and this one goes into our first trial chamber proper trial chamber there’s some diamonds

Inside of there that one’s got these I’m going to just kill as many of these mobs as I can I think I’m going to eat another Golden Apple here though cuz things are going to get a little bit spicy down here you’re playing on hard difficulty

Too there we go it’s just going to keep spawn probably not a good idea for me to back myself up against one of them regular spiders nope breezes in this one so far though let’s not back myself into a corner boys bad idea bad idea speed spiders get

Rid one more dead there we go something did spawn around here what’s the loot inside of here some diamonds I mean honestly this should be a really good place just to come for diamonds on its own Iron blast protection not bad we’ll take those a couple more spiders down there

There oh we got a key that one’s done this is a I would definitely say this is a much more easier one that I’ve challenged but they get harder the further you go okay back to our spawner room where does this one take me oh this

Is a rest point okay so at the start we found a set of beds you made it through you don’t want to go back to there you could reset your spawn right here I like this and then this is where another challenge is about to take place and I

Think I think there is another one down there as well okay well let’s go with this one let’s give this one a go this one’s just going to be regular skeletons just regular skellies probably going to be some breezes in this one too to be honest go you’re dead stay alive

Echo that’s the breeze one over there probably use I should probably use my bow honestly this is where I would recommend a good bow not the crappy one that I’ve got a regular one there’s a breeze they they can make life so much harder especially if there’s skeletons around

As well where is he there he is I don’t think so get him come on come on yes well that’s what I’m saying like you’ve seen at the start of the video how they had a lot of space to leap and move and they kind of don’t this time

The difference it has this is where I would need some building blocks though oh yeah they activate Redstone related things okay put that there come on oh okay this has got an amethyst as well an amethyst dude got to get rid of him though he’s dead so did it pop something

Out there okay yeah so while just while we kill these guys real quick you’ll notice that when you’re playing solo I notice there typically two breezes and that’s it get rid of you what’s in this one water oh that looks like a a a weakening is it oh it’s weak weakness

Yeah so there’s some negative effects that we’ve just been discovered another key but whenever you’re fighting this guy the breezes I noticed it’s just typically two breezes as a solo play this is where you should probably take lever in my case I’ve got a shovel but I would highly recommend taking lever for

This one I really like what they’ve done with this one cuz you have to Traverse that way I haven’t had too many difficult spawners to deal with and the problem here is they are going to convert into Strays where you at I’d have to go this This Way start breaking

These things yeah leather is going to be a there you go they converted come on there we go let’s go get him he’s dead there’s the Strays those guys can be pain here you go they’re dead I will you will freeze you will freeze the death down here one’s only regular skellies though

Where’s the other guy there they are one more it’s not freeze to death down here that’s another regular skellies I personally don’t think there’s a proper end to these rooms I think there’s no right or like final boss kind of vibe a lot of people would probably argue and

Say that this is the boss one cuz of how many do spawn down here which is where I’m now going to grab myself the the enchanted apples cuz I think they’re going to be a lifesaver down here for me I think there was a breeze in here as

Well but you’ll see the mobs just constantly fight with each other here we go get rid of you get rid of you there is a breeze somewhere come on get rid of him uh no diamonds I’m just running out of space for loot is there a breeze this one is a breeze I’m

Going to I’m going to keep the breeze here because there’s there’s this here if it activates that water goes everywhere right so you are going to then need a block Place back down here it’d be pretty cool if they could have two options where one is lava one is uh

Water I don’t want to kill him just yet though but I they definitely need to they definitely need to be a little bit more challenging in here there’s just not enough room for them they don’t get the I feel like they just don’t have their full potential down here but what

Did he act oh there’s another one another water one okay that one there that was a fireball that time they’re quite easy in these dungeons man there another one up here I don’t know what spawner that is that’s just a regular Skelly we didn’t find too many

Like poison tipped arrow ones which I think is a bonus honestly they don’t jump I wonder if they just don’t think they’ve got enough room to jump so they like the actual design of it is just not going to move but that one was really really easy so

That’s kind of the survival experience that I have honestly you’re going to spend hours here I know for a fact I’m going to spend hours here I’m going to be wait have I been in that room have I been in this room did I get that did I

Get this there’s a lot of blocks here that I think people will come and just mine as well I think there still needs to be some tweaks and changes I think this is definitely driven to more the multiplayer experience and I haven’t yet played this as multiplayer I think solo

Especially on something like normal can be quite easy but I’m sure you guys will find other ways to test yourselves I just wanted to show you guys some gaml from well we made it right back to the start as well from my perspective I’m sure you guys play Minecraft a little
