INSANE Minecraft Bee Farm AUTO-PRODUCTION

Foreign Only Draven here again and today we’re doing another tutorial in Minecraft all the mods eight today I’m going to show you how to automate processing Honeycombs the productive bees mod is a very important part of the all the mods eight pack it is one of the primary ways

To get resources especially some of the harder to get ones and being able to automate processing the Honeycombs that are produced by those bees will definitely help your playthrough faster and Gathering those resources now if you find this video helpful and you like it please be sure to click like but most

Importantly please remember to hit that subscribe button so that way you can see all my videos and tutorials as they come out all right so a few things we’re going to use today we’re going to need an advanced beehive and to make that you’re going to take a regular beehive

You’re going to have three and one more four total wood planks any wood planks pretty much will work two honeycomb a set of shears any type and a campfire next you’re going to need an expansion box and that’s going to be one honeycomb surrounded by wooden blocks planks

Next we’re going to use a feeding slab which is a chest and a smooth stone slab next you’re going to need a centrifuge that’s going to be a grindstone and seven iron ingots in place of the centrifuge you can also use a powered centrifuge we’re going to

Look at both and for that one you’re going to need the original centrifuge we just looked at as well as two iron ingots four pieces of redstone and two basic control circuits next we’re going to use a trash can which is just a chest with three stone blocks and five Cobblestone blocks

And then from the pipes mod we’re going to use an advanced pipe upgrade which is going to be four pieces of diamond four redstone blocks and an improved pipe upgrade so that’s the tier two one so let’s just take a real quick stop there when you are looking at the

Different pipe upgrades if you do at pipes in your jei the basic pipe is four iron ingots a redstone and four iron nuggets you need that to make this second tier which is the improved just four pieces of gold four Redstone and the basic pipe

And the one we’re going to use which is the advanced pipe upgrade the recipe we just looked at there’s an ultimate pipe upgrade you can go step up with netherright it doesn’t require that but it will work just as fine we’re also going to use a couple different pipes the pipe wrench if

You’re not one of those we’re going to be showing you how to use those as well so right off the bat we’re gonna need to build a little area for our beads okay I’m just going to use the same type of block we have here actually that’s not

Going to blend in real well let’s grab something a little different I’m just going to use some Stone you can build it out of any material you like okay now when I build mine I build this a specific size it’s just easier for me that way okay so you’re going to have

Right here inside of your little B room you’re going to have a two by two block you want to have that at least at least but you don’t have to have it more than too hot so really you’re just making a little two by two by two square in here

All right and then you’re going to put something usually I like to use glass just so I can keep an eye on it uh what’s going on with the bees so on and so forth and then so you put glass on one side and then the other side you put

Something that’s going to allow you to enter into the room so any type of door will work perfectly fine uh and this is going to let you be able to get inside where your bees are kept so as you can see here now I have a two by two square

Okay that’s the basic shape you can build more on top you can build more beside each other but that’s all the space you need to automate one type of B so let’s grab out some of those things we looked at so we’re going to grab an advanced beehive oak oak

Expansion block a feeding slab and then we’re going to grab some pipes and a pipe wrench okay we’re gonna start with this so inside we’re going to put our Advanced beehive on the bottom and then our expansion box on top then this block right here that goes in

Front this is where we’re going to put our feeding slab the feeding slab is where you can put a flower or material that the bee needs in order to pollinate a lot of the basic bees use flowers but the more advanced bees are going to use different items that’s what that’s going

To be okay so now I can see this exactly what’s going on inside without having to be inside Okay so after that we’re going to go around to the back side and break out the block that’s where our Advanced beehive was and we’re going to connect a pipe to

That we’re going to use the wrench by holding shift right click it makes it so the pipe is now pulling items from that beehive so our bees are going to produce honeycomb inside of there and then that pipe is going to pull that out okay so let’s get some bees in there so

We can see what we’re talking about now I’m just going to go ahead and grab some iron bees and I’m using a specialty bee so that way we can um have a little bit more knowledge about how this feeding slot works so with the advanced beehive and an expansion box

You can have up to five bees in here and to automate this process the best way possible I recommend having it five B’s so we’re gonna go ahead and drop five in here there’s one one two three four five okay so we have five bees inside of our little B room

Now let’s go ahead and pull up iron bees real quick now that we have iron B we’re going to click on him right we’re going to click U over top of the B itself and then here where it says be flowering it tells us what he needs to have in

Order for him to be able to pollinate so you’ve got iron ore iron door pretty much anything made out of iron will work right I saw an iron bars iron door iron anvil or regular iron ore so in this situation we’re going to go ahead and we’re just going to grab there’s a

Hopper we’re going to grab ourselves a hopper and that’s the item that we’re going to use grab ourselves a hopper for our iron bees now they are going to try to escape so here we go we’re going to click on our feeding slab and put our Hopper inside

Of that now that they have an item the bees are gonna you can see even notice they’re already over there and kind of Nomine on it and that’s what they’re going to use to pollinate and then they’re going to go back inside and start producing iron honeycomb now iron

Honeycomb can be turned into a product and that’s what we want we want what the honeycomb turns into so let’s go ahead and clean about some of those things we don’t need anymore and let’s go grab the next step so they’re popping inside now we’re going to grab a centrifuge

We’re gonna grab some chests we’re gonna grab that trash can and then the advanced pipe upgrade we were looking at earlier so this pipe is going to pull any honeycomb they make into this centrifuge so you put your centrifuge right outside of that pipe it’s going to pull the honeycomb in here

As they make it and then this is going to convert it into the product that you want it to be now any type of honeycomb you use will turn into wax every time and wax more or less not that useful you’re going to get way more wax than

You’re ever going to need so this setup is going to show you how to dispose of wax I would recommend building up a few because there are a couple recipes that will need it down the road and it’s also very easy to get it again later but for

The overall automation we don’t really need wax so we’re not going to use it okay so here for the centrifuge what we’re going to do at this point is we’re going to put another pipe down pull the items from that and have it go into a chest okay

So as the the bees eventually start making honey and it would be faster if I have different upgrades in here and you’re going to want to do that so we actually have an extra bee they’ve already bred which is fine in here you can put productivity upgrades

Uh let me show you those real quick so productivity upgrades they don’t stack so you’ll you know get one two three here I got an achievement for it putting those in there will cause your bees to produce honeycomb faster so as soon as you’re able to make those 100

Get four of them in there and that way that will help speed up your process now in your centrifuge over here you can put speed upgrades now speed upgrades well also awesome and very helpful uh they’re a little bit harder to make so you can automate this process even

Without them but once you have the ability to get them because you’re going to need envies draconic bees specifically um to be able to make those you have to get to the end for that it’s going to take a little bit more so as you can see

Our iron honeycomb is coming right into here which is perfect and it’s processing it and producing for us wax and raw iron which is great that’s exactly what we want now I’m going to temporarily break this for very important reasons go ahead and grab this in our inverter okay so it produces two

Things now we want those two things to go into two different situations now if you don’t want your honeycomb for your your uh I’m sorry if you don’t want your wax putting a chest here or a trash can connected to your now if you don’t Center this it’s going

To put everything in there that’s what the filter is for so I’ve connected a pipe to my chest to a trash can I’m going to click on that pipe and it’s going to let me take that filter and put it in this corner here now I want to White list wax because

That’s the only thing I want to go through there so we’re going to click on we’ve got white list already you can Blacklist as well but white list add take the item you want to add and put it in there and then hit submit so now this pipe will only transfer wax okay

So we’ll go ahead put our original pipe back put it pulling again and now as you can see the wax as it goes in there it’s going to produce one every time the wax is being put out and immediately put into a trash can and then this chest with the items that

You do want what you’re going to do is you’re going to put another pipe over here again I’m gonna break this just to show you okay put a pipe here coming out on this side we’re going to grab ourselves another filter let’s put in pipe yep it’s not working because I have a

Chest down okay try that again hmm interesting attempt that again there we go glitched there for a second so on this side I want to White list again but what I want to do is I want to add the items that I’m going to pull through now that’s a great option but if

You have say several of these rooms pulling through one centrifuge you may not want to sit there and go ahead and white list everything you’re making especially if you may occasionally swap those bees out so what I would recommend instead is to go ahead and take some of that wax

And on this side Blacklist wax like we whitelisted it on the other side and so now everything except wax will come into this chest reattach this pipe the reason I’m re I’m breaking this pipe and reattaching it is so things don’t go flying into the trash can or wrong things while I’m setting

That up you can set all this up if you already have some wax before you even start producing but now the centrifuge is going to go ahead and it’s going to get um waxed now bees don’t work at night so let’s grab a bed and get it daytime so

We can show this working again throw that down real quick see time there we go so and now they’re already popping out now that it’s morning they’ve popped out they’re hanging out on their feeding slab basically grabbing the pollen that they need and then they’re going to start producing the Honeycombs here they

Already are so the honeycomb’s repeated in this chest the wax is going over here into the trash can the good items the iron raw iron that we have is coming into here now depending on what your bees are automating there are other steps you can add instead of a chest you could put

Some type of furnace that’s cooking the iron for you that’s only going to work if the bees are producing foods to be smelted and then have them feeding out into whatever or you could have this chest connected directly to your storage system like a refined storage how to solve your importer and exporters

Connect this to your refined storage and the items would immediately go into there how you connect this to your storage is going to base very much on which type of storage you’re using AE versus refined storage and so on but now that we have this set up those

Bees are going to continue to produce wax comb forever it’s just going to keep going on every day the centrifuge is going to produce it the ends over there which then separates it wax into the trash can good stuff into this chest now you can instead of a regular centrifuge

You can use one of the more advanced centrifuges okay so for example a powered Centric centrifuge let’s break that real quick and if we put a powered centrifuge here and you’re gonna have to fix your little little filter there okay now powered centrifuge uses RF power but it produces

A much faster than uh items than the regular centrifugees let’s go ahead and grab us a battery now for this one I’m just using a creative battery any RF power source will work perfectly fine so windmill different generators reactor flux anything you want to connect power

To this will work and then I’m going to hook that up the same way and now as you can see this has power and put our speed upgrades in and it’s going to produce our items even faster so this is a very easy way and majority of this could be done

Pretty early in the game other than the speed upgrades which like I said take take a specific B the draconic B to get a component for those pretty much everything else you can do really early once you get your bees just up and running um and the faster you get this going you

Don’t have to keep running in and emptying out the beehives the beehives filling up you can then have the bees running into a central storage system which is easier for you to control if you want more information on how to connect this to a storage system throw that down in the

Comments I’m sure I can put together a tutorial for that as well but now that we have this set up the bees are going to continue to produce they’re going to continue to throw wax in the trash they’re going to continue to fill this up until it’s full which

Case you can empty it or have it running into a machine or a storage system of your choice so very easy to do okay so highly recommend this easy setup if you have a different design you’ve put together I’d love to see it feel free to

Let me know but you can uh you can put this together pretty quickly and that’s going to hook you up with a pretty steady supply of whatever B materials you need from the bees that you have cool all right so uh a really important one but really not that hard it’s a very

Common uh question that I get and I’m sure there are other ways to do it but this is how I do it and it’s worked very well for me I usually have rows of these rooms all feeding out now I will say that if you’re using productivity upgrades

You’re going to want each little B room to have its own centrifuge if you’re running multiple bees through rooms through a central centrifuge uh productivity upgrades will make them produce faster than a single centrifuge is going to be able to do once you get five or six rooms connected to it so if

You’re going to do a large Hive if you will of these rooms it’s better to give each room its own centrifuge so that way the centrifuge will be able to keep up with the honeycomb as quickly as it’s making and you don’t bottleneck up your system
