Alright hey guys and welcome back to Minecraft today I have five video game packs for Minecraft and I’m gonna be going through one-by-one and showing you the differences between that pack and the default resource pack each pack is based off of a video game and I picked Out five of my favorite that I could find now there are a ton of video game resource packs out there some complete some not so if I missed any really cool ones just comment them down below if you guys do enjoy this video hit that like Button it lets see if we can get like seven likes on this video and I say here we go let’s just begin alright so the first pack we have is called the super mario mash-up resource pack for minecraft and this pack is based off of Mario from Wii U so everything in this Pack is pretty bright and cartoony looking most of these video game packs will be kind of cartoony looking or more of an 8-bit style so if that’s not your thing I don’t know what you’re doing watching this video right now but like I said this resource pack has a lot of Bright colors I think it looks really cool personally because I’ve played a lot of mario in my past and it’s just a really fun game this resource pack includes all blocks all NPCs and most items it’s about 90% done so definitely keep an eye on this pack if you like Mario alright so here are all the blocks in the game and it looks like the only thing in this resource pack that has changed GUI wise is like this hot bar at the bottom it looks like the chests are still about the same the crafting table is the same that’s cool the crafting Table is actually a lucky block but um the doors also look pretty neat in this pack they got so many different colors here that’s pretty cool and then the water and lava is in the bad I like the ores the ores are very similar to almost like original minecraft but they got Like almost a cartoony feel to them also the portals look really neat as well in this resource pack I like the nether portals got those Bowser faces on it but yeah other than that I think that’s pretty much it for the Super Mario mash up pack let’s move on it to number two Our next resource pack is called piglets mine the pokemon resource pack it has a ton of awesome custom sounds up one of my favorite parts about Pokemon was the sounds and the music and this resource pack brings that to minecraft and it’s got a bunch of cool Pokemon mobs instead Of regular minecraft mobs and you can spawn in most of the mobs with pokeballs instead of spawn eggs which I actually thought was awesome alright so guys listen to this whenever you click around in the menus that makes that cool classic Pokemon button sound that isn’t like every Pokemon game but yeah let’s head over here and check out the chests the chests GUI have changed here looks definitely more like Pokemon so is the crafting table and the furnace as well as your just inventory the inventory looks a little bit different here in my normal inventory but whenever I go into Something like a chest I can put items in there so hold on a second let me just grab a few items if I were to put those in here they would look like that and then if I drag them down they would look like that but for some reason the Inventory is different whenever you just casually just walking around or whatever so this is definitely a resource pack you would have to get used to the ores over here kind of look like they would blend in with the stone which is right here or cobblestone pretty well it’s Kind of even hard to tell which ores these are is this diamond right this is Diamond right here with the red and blue sparkles on it so yeah if this is just something you’d have to be used to the water and the lava looks alright I definitely like the doors over here Those are kind of cool but yeah that is the diglettz mine resource pack moving on to number three alright so our next resource pack is a little different it is called the retro NES pack and it’s based off the NES 8-bit style so this one feels a little bit more harsh of Graphic wise it’s more of like a watered-down version of Minecraft but if you like that NES style then this might be the texture pack for you it is 100% complete and it uses 8-bit colors from the NES this pack is a little weird I don’t know if I Would play it in like my spare time but that’s only because I usually like to go with default textures for Minecraft or if I do change my pack I would change it to like faithful or something all of the inventories here are like extremely blue like here’s the chest crafting table Furnace enchantment table and then like even just your normal inventory check this out I got this like cool little picture behind me there but yeah all the items look very nice and other than that everything is just really 8-bit II and the portal kind of looks nice there but This is definitely an experimental pack you should try it out yourself and see how you like it whenever you’re playing with it but yeah let’s let’s move on to the next pack all right so our next pack will only change the sounds of your game it is called terraria craft if you’ve Ever played terraria it’s kind of like a 2d platformer version of Minecraft like a mining game and all custom sounds from this pack have been ripped from terraria itself the graphics that have changed on the inventory as well as the main menu have been made by the resource pack Creator now there’s not much more to explain here but I kind of like terraria I like the way it feels and this resource pack definitely brings that vibe to Minecraft it is 100% complete for 1.9 it’s not made for 1.10 but I’m not sure there’s too many sounds that were added In content other than the sounds for the new mobs and stuff but yeah moving on to number 5 alright so our next resource pack comes from Zelda The Phantom Hourglass and this pack is for 1.9 it’s about 70% complete this is like my favorite video game resource pack I’ve Encountered it’s just very bright and vibrant the colors are really nice and honestly it’s one of the best Zelda resource packs out there however it does need MC patcher or Optifine to run and if you do install one of those make sure you turn off mini-map and alternate blocks this pack Is for 1.9 plus as are all the resource packs before this and yeah let’s jump in and take a look at the chest tear so here are all of the blocks for Zelda these are all pretty neat like I said they got this very smooth vibrant look to them I really like all The blocks in this resource pack and then the doors are just kind of really neat they all got their own unique little style some of them are unchanged but they’re pretty neat and yeah let’s check out the GU eyes for this pack here is what the chest looks like now I Believe the chest is the only GUI that changes here but I like how clean and crispy it looks and yeah let me check the crafting yeah okay so the crafting table is exactly the same the furnace is the same but yeah other than that the ores are very uniform they all have the Same shape the only thing that changes is like the color I like the lava in the water in this one and then the portals are kind of different the nether portal is like weird it’s not animated it’s just kind of static just sits there and Yeah that is a that is the Zelda pack so if you guys did enjoy this video be sure to hit that like button down below guys it really helps me out a lot let me know if you like these kind of videos you guys really liked the last Five resource packs video I did on realistic packs if you guys haven’t seen
