INSANE Minecraft Star Wars Tutorial: Build the Elcestrus

Hey everyone welcome back today we’re here with a brand new 1 to 50 scale build uh which we don’t do very often we don’t like it’s a series of only four ships as you can see um obviously that’s kind of the same one but yes I don’t

Make 1 to 50 very often and this is a remake of the Imperial stardestroyer which I originally made in 2019 so you know four years ago um and about a month as well uh since then we’ve seen quite a few updates on the server and so the build needed updating

With some of the new materials which I’ve done so it is a brand new build uh completely different from the last one does look kind of outwardly similar just because of the scale of it um ends up I think it should be about 32 M if it’s 1 to 50 scale

Um but yeah there’s a lot less iron trap doors there’s a lot less uh smoothstone slabs because at the time I only had the smoothstone ones they weren’t the the stone ones or the uh andesite ones or anything like that which is crazy it was just like I said the the smooth Stone

And the stone brick ones I think well yes this is a big upgrade um a lot of proportional differences I think it’s it’s a bit wider and the kind of area here so between the the bottom of the body there and the top of the body which

Is just there is much more in proportion with the the tower section as well so yeah it’s a very respectable little thing and I think it came out nicely we did the 1 to 50 resurging uh a couple of maybe one or two years ago I just can’t

Remember um so this will be a nice companion piece of that and obviously if you’ve done the venor as well this is a slightly updated model from the the tutorial but yeah still pretty much the same um yeah they can go nicely together might do a victory St a sh at some point

Um but we’ll see how it turns out cuz it’s only going to be up to about to about there in terms of length from this point cuz it’s I think 900 M long um you could definitely mod this into a interdictor in in in terms of the Imperial Star Destroyer version of it

Not the um the rebels version I haven’t done that for this but you could definitely give it a go if you wanted to I’m going to crack them with the build onto layer number one and I’ll give you some tips on how to build it and stuff

So yeah let’s go okay for the first layer you’ll only need a few materials there’s just smooth Stam slide polished Anders side slab and iron trapo this thing by default uh slightly floats above the ground so it’s basically half a block above the ground um I’d

Recommend just building it in the air if you do want to build it landed um I don’t know what to suggest maybe bring the the ground layer like half a block up to join up with it um but yeah like I said it is by default just just floating

A little bit but I don’t know I think more people are going to have it flying than they are landed so yeah it’s fine so yeah these three materials smooth stone slab polish and SL an IR trap door and then also a sponge or any other tempor block something that’s kind of

Easy to identify then you can get rid of it once we’re done with it think of it kind of like a Lego set I do a lot of my building techniques kind of like how Lego Works where you’ll have things like really brightly colored blocks that you put on temporarily just to measure

Things out or to to keep things stable and then obviously at the end you remove them that’s what we’re going to do with the sponge but again you can use anything that stands out really so yeah we’re going to start over here obviously I’ve got the building pad um like I said a

Lot of you be building this in the air or you can just do this on the ground layer wherever you are these lines just help us kind of see what we’re building during the tutorial so the green line here is the front of the build and the

Uh solid green line is the center of the build so kind of the the middle fromont from the left and right and then obviously the green uh on each side kind of shows that and then the red is the back of the build and again the the uh

Red line so you just kind of show you where the middle is which is this one I’ve definitely explained that a lot better in my previous videos I don’t know why I did it so complicated this time there’s also the the arrows that face towards the front of the build so

While we’re building if we’re kind of like this and placing blocks you know you’ll see the arrows you know that’s I’m going to start with the tempor blocks I’m going to do the two of these like that and doesn’t matter if that’s there or there right now but yeah

On the back side of it towards the rear of the build iron trap doors all top half 1 two 3 and then two polished undersight slabs both top half iron trap door there Iron trap door there then on this side two smooth stone slabs with a iron trap door just there

There and there so this is is the very back of the triangle sort of section of the star destroy um and the very bottom of it this is the I I don’t know what it is I can’t remember on the Battlefront 2 games the classic ones it’s the life support um

But I can’t remember what it is on the actual ship I’m sure someone will correct me but yeah that’s it for layer one let’s move up to layer number two okay l number two is a little bit trickier we’ve introduced a few more materials here stone block polished Underside

Stone stairs polished undersight stairs stone slab polished undersight slab smooth stone slab and then I TR those before for these three so um on this one we’re going to obviously introduce the full blocks now one thing I will say uh normally on gra BS like this I’ll use a

Mixture of stone um polished undersight stone bricks smooth Stone normal undersight um and maybe even some other blocks as well if I’m feeling uh really risky on this one in particular particular and I’m going to start doing this a little bit more often I’m going

To use kind of stone as as the base here I think I did this on the 1 to 10 star destroyer and maybe even the Millennium Falcon from 2019 where um I suggest that you mix in and theight with this with the stone blocks but don’t actually do this in the

Tutorial so it’s kind of like a suggestion just to add a little bit more detail um and it’s completely up to you I mean you might not even like the undersight so again it’s up to you but it will add a little bit more texture variation from the stone so that is just

A suggestion for you and like I said I’m going to use stone for the build well there you go I’ve told you you can do it so you don’t need my permission obviously it’s just the way the thing made right Stone stairs just there so it’s kind of between these set

Of three facing towards the front so that’s the green line obviously polished and theight one two 3 4 5 six you can remove these now and then one two three there and one there as well stone block two two two two two and two two two two two two and two I will

Say this build in particular is a little bit easier than most of the builds I do nowadays because this was built I’d say about a year or so ago and and since then that’s when I started to introduce the kind of crazy techniques uh maybe two years ago I can’t remember but yeah

This one’s a little bit easy you don’t have many as many hle lines and stuff like that as as what I would have done you know more recently so yeah it should be a nice simple build today two smooth stone slabs on the back there like that

And then a top half polished Underside slab next to it and again like that stone slabs top half 1 2 3 4 5 six polish slab just there and then stone slab one 2 3 4 5 again 1 2 3 4 5 6 polished 1 2 3 4

5 then just take the iron trap door next to the polished undersight laab and again okay polished and theide stairs one two and three so you just Corner in that uh section there and then with the polished Underside slabs that’s one two three iron

Trapo and then stone slab 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 5 and six and yeah that is it for Lay number two move on to lay number three okay for this one we’re going to start off over at the very front here normally i’ start

At the back cuz this is where we do start the engines normally start with engines today we’re not polished onight full block on the iron trap door one two three four stone like that there we go polished onight stairs one two and three one two and three two stone blocks two polish blocks

Two stone blocks again just like that take the smoothstone slab top half one two three one two three you leave in that middle Gap like that we’re going to leave this one here polish Amite laptop 1 2 3 4 oh I’ve ruined everything now 1 two 3 4 five three stone

Slabs three stone slabs there as well and then we’re going to take the iron trap doors on the underside there are a fair amount more of iron trap doors than on the top side can’t really be he cuz there’s um a lot of blocks that only work on the top side and not

Underneath so you’re going to do is set of 3×3 with the iron trap doors and try not to place like seven extra like I just did three single ones along the front there we go three here uh we’re going to add three more stain slabs there three more there as well

Oops just there so next to the polished and the side ones iron trap door one two 3 4 uh one two 3 1 two 3 extra one there and then just an extra one on this end as well like that okay polish onside stairs three of those upside down again like

That and again three more stained slabs and again take the stone full block come to these stairs going to do one two 3 4 five six three there 1 2 3 4 5 six three there Polish stairs three and three like that come to these stairs here going to

Add one two 3 four five stone blocks five again and then an additional two just there on this side polish stairs one more time three there three here and I’m going to take the polished Underside slabs do two top half ones there two top half ones there uh two bottom half smooth stone

Slabs here and there as well iron trap door now we’re going to add into the mix stone brick stairs that’s just one two separate by one three and four okay we’ll put those away for now we’re going to grab the uh chiseled stain bricks and that’s one and

Two polished under theight in this block fact sorry behind it so there and then the Polish slab and then one more material here stone brick slab just there and then do another top half one um just there so kind of where that smooth stain slab bottom half one is

Just next to it like that but top half and again like that okay right polished goes there and there and then three stone blocks three stone blocks and then we’re just going to grab our stone slabs here that’s two 2 one one 2 one one 2 two one

There do it the other way one two two one one two one one 2 two okay and then take the iron trap door come to here that’s 1 2 3 4 5 six like that come to here that’s one two three four one there one two 3 one there one two

Three again 1 two 3 4 One there 2 three 4 One there 2 three 4 okay right last thing for that layer we’re going to take uh the cyan terra cotta I’m actually going to jump a layer up because uh this is the hanger area here ignore the fact

They’re invisible there we go and then just another one above that that Gap get the grindstone just going to be one of those there just represents kind of the the thing that catches the the Tanta V4 or holds it I guess in place um so yeah pretty

Cool and that’s going to be it for that layer so let’s move up to layer number I think it’s number four now one two three yeah layer four all right so this is the kind of sandwich layer of the build where all the detail is all the trenches

Along the side of the Star Destroyer uh we need a Vari materials here um so on top of the stone we need the science hotter again the Chisel stone bricks the Anvil keep the polished and aite stairs Blast Furnace stone brick wall Observer and grindstone and

Then all these up here can just keep on reserve I don’t think we need any of these ones for this layer but just in case uh we’ll also need iron bars and a cauldron as well but we’ll do those afterwards because my inventory is currently full Anvil right on the nose

Just there Canan this is where the um cauldron would go three s there and then it’s two three um three three so keep going like that you should end up with uh three sets of three there and it’s a two then it’s a three three and three and again on this side two

Three three three two three three and three take the stone block just bring this all the way across and join the two up like that going to do two can there two here two here one chiseled again and again just quickly take the stone brick slab

Put it on top of that chiseled as well save us doing it next layer St wall there and there there and there there and there and then I should have done a second one as well but here we go on each side like that okay and that’s the sort of

Engines um what next two stem walls there and and a stone block like that and I’m just trying to get some of the main details done before I start on the uh the detail blocks here because it’s going to be a pain um St SL put that away get

The uh we’ll get the cauldron out actually and get rid of that cuz I think there’s only one of them a cauldron right over here at the front just there like so and you can throw that away now okay I’ll do the anvils cuz there’s

A few more of them but not many I’ll get these out the way there’s just one there and one there and that’s all of them from what I can see we might need it later in the build but I’m going to throw it away for now make a mess

Everywhere we will do the polished Underside stairs do all of these now get these out of the way so the first one is going to be just here facing outwards then a second one just here facing outwards okay and then the third one is going to

Be over here so where the single cyan is just going to be one facing that way here there’s going to be one that way in a corner and then just one facing forwards there as well so we do the same one two uh one facing that way and then one here and here

Okay we’ll do the full stone blocks that are on this Edge area here as well there’s just a single one on this uh set of two just there and that’s the only stone block on that area we will do all the blast furnaces so the first one is over here just there like

That one is going to be there facing forwards there’s going to be another one uh just here facing forwards one there uh in fact do that one sideways as going to be one over here next to the stairs facing forwards and then one here facing uh towards the

Front again we’ll just copy all this over there we go uh two more just like that there we go observers now one just there facing upwards so the the stripe should be facing upwards like that one facing outwards one over here facing upwards one over here facing this way so

The arrows facing towards the middle and that’s all of them so again uh that one’s upwards there we go there’s one here facing outwards and then the last one is facing upwards okay St brick walls now two of them there there’s going to be one here and here there and there as

Well 1 two 3 four and five one there one there and then one just here take the iron bars we’re going to also grab the skeleton skull while we’re in there iron bars here skeleton skull there’s only two of these there just one there like that and a second one just there like

That okay uh St walls on the other side as well so there’s the two of them there uh one what’s in this Gap ah grindstone we’ll do the grind stones in a minute um one there one and two one two 3 four five one there one

More and then these ones already done so grindstones last material for this I think one and two just upwards like that and then one just in this Gap at the side like so and again so every iron trapo should be covered with something there which is

What we’ve got and yeah that is uh everything for that layer in fact there’s one more thing it’s optional though is the uh thrust on the back of the engines you can do two light blue stained glasses in fact no sorry just one or cyan or dark well normal blue

Stained glass it’s up to you what you want to do just like that one two three and then with the uh the pain version of it can do one two and one there as well and like that represents kind of like a Thrust on the back of the ship

And yeah that is going to be it for that layer let’s move up to the next one all right next layer up goes back to being nice and simple uh right back to the engines here find this middle one just put a polished undersight slab uh bottom

Half and then a polished undersight full block stone block one two 3 one two 3 um and then a polished undersight goes just there and there plus a top half iron trap door one and two so we’re just mirroring what’s down below there like that stone uh brick stairs now we need

To put one and two like that so again mirroring what’s down below and then just a chiseled stone bricks in the middle like that smooth stain slab one two and one and two and then stone block 2 4 6 8 and 10 just like that we’re then going to diagonal

Inwards just like that so not connecting any blocks here and like that this is going to be 2 3 4 and then 1 2 3 4 5 and six so 2 3 4 3 4 5 6 again diagonal inwards one there this time we’re going to get inwards again like that two

Two one two 3 you can see kind of the pattern we’ve got going on here it’s again 3 32 and then this isn’t this is a four but whatever yeah up to here uh polish on site 1 2 3 4 5 six we’re going to take our polished

Underside stairs we’re going to do one just there and there so we’re skipping a block there and there and then another one just here and here St brick stairs we’re going to do two and three two and three and then Stone stairs one and two one and

Two so in these gaps here this is stone slabs one two smooth stone slab and then do a polished andesite one uh again so that’s polished smooth stone stone and stone um we’ll come to the back here and do these ones this is a polished one

Here one two one 2 3 4 and then two Stone ones again one two one two three four two Stone ones do another Stone one there and there three polished undersight ones and then this is the only time on this reference model I’ve actually used the anders side slab so just going to

Follow what the reference says two of those there two of those there again that doesn’t make a difference what I said earlier about mixing and theight in you’re welcome to mix these stone slabs and stone stairs with Underside stairs as well probably saying this a little

Bit late but yeah the stairs as long as well as the main blocks you can you can mix up um but it just it just does complicate things when it comes to building the tutorial so I’ll try and avoid it a little bit now um so yeah three polished ones there and

There all slabs like that and then obviously the single one in that Gap as well two stone slabs and then this is all slabs going forwards from here as well 1 two 3 one two 3 polished undersight ones one 2 3 4 5 six and then Stone ones one two 3 one two

3 and then finally we’re going to take the iron trap doors get these out of the way now so there’s three of them there one there one there again one and one uh one and one oops one and one so just doing it in like every corner

Basically um there isn’t one here but there is one there and on this one and again and then one last one just there by that and quickly take the science heric Cotter going to put one just there and here so like the third one along um has one of

Those uh hang on one second I think is this I’m not sure I need to check something out so you might see quick jump c one second okay very interesting so I think these polished slabs are actually meant to be top half there then the bottom half one here U cuz then it

Keeps the engines themselves consistent like so it doesn’t have have that extra slab there but yeah just place um that one down there like that and I’ve destroyed this now great there we go right last thing for this layer is going to be carpets so light gray ones

This is the difference between the bottom and the top is that you can use light gray carpets instead of a lot of these uh trap doors there going to be one just there one two three one two 3 one two 3 none there one one two 3

None there there’s one here one two three one two three one in that Gap two three and then three on the front and then we just copy all of that over okay one there and then smooth sail in for the rest of it there we go so you got youve got like

The full width now you can see that dagger shape you can see the two indents one is sort of there and then the other one is here so it’s looking great obviously engines are all done now as well so we’ll be moving on shortly to the the tower section of the model on

This one there isn’t a um a mockup of the bridge inside like what I did on the 1 to 10 there’s just not enough room but you know that’d be pretty funny so yeah let’s move on to the next layer okay for this one starting off at the very back

Here take the stone stairs upside down one just there and then smooth stain slabs one 2 3 4 bottom half polished undersight one and again okay stain slab just there and on this one two stone blocks and a polished onite in the middle one and two get the cyan terra cotta just

Quickly we are going to need a few of them on this layer actually so I’m going to uh what should I get rid of the smooth stone slab now grab that Canan from in there there we go so can 1 two 3 one two 3 one there at a

Diagonal diagonal back inwards like that and then two three 4 5 6 7 so outwards inwards 2 3 4 5 six seven okay come to here do two inwards two inwards there you should be left with a gap of one in the Middle Stone block stone block cyan cyan stone block

Between them s on the front polished on the side stairs one there one sideways put the can away for now grab the St wall one and two one there on that corner and there as well and then stone brick stairs one and two to cover those gaps just like

That polished Underside stairs again one two here one two here and then light gray carpet will’ll do these get these out of the way um you’ll also need the polished and theight slab again and the iron trap door um so the slab there trapo carpet like that two carpets

Here and One Carpet there as well two just here and then you’re going to do one and two one and two like that just copy that over two one there and then two here like that okay iron trap door just in that Gap and then a stone brick

Slab we need the Anvil back just temporarily and there’s one of those just between those stairs and then polished Underside slabs in these two gaps all right last thing for this layer get the grindstone I’m going to basically take temp blocks I’m going to put one let’s

See if this works actually come to this carpet here and just do a grindstone yeah it does so the grindstone should go like that with the arms facing outwards these are the little uh turbo lasers on the side so one there like that one just here next to those stone brick stairs

Another one’s going to go just here above those polished and side stairs and then the last one again just like that so they should all be separated by one you can see these stairs that stick up uh are kind of under the the grindstones so just like that and then

The final one again goes just there all right and that is going to be it for that layer let’s move up to the next one okay this layer is pretty simple um we’ve got a couple more to go but not not too many um quite close to the

End so on these smooth down slabs just the iron trap doors again and the carpets take a polished anite full block and then a stair this time so obviously under here it was a a slab this time it’s a stair because it’s building up towards the neck of the Star Destroyer

Another polished and theight and then two top half polished slabs next to that take the stone block 1 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 4 One Two 3 4 two cyan two Canan inwards and One S inwards and one San and then inwards and one again stain uh brick full

Block one and two throw that away I don’t think you need it again literally appeared just once and then dipped stain block there and again polished undersight slabs 1 2 3 4 iron trap door iron trap door light gray carpet two carpets there two carpets there that’s not right one two one two

Delete those bring those forward by one like that stone stairs Stone stairs here stone slab 1 2 3 4 one two three four four polish stairs two polish slabs four stain slabs four carpets again four polish stairs two polish slabs four stain slabs for carpets okay so you can see we’re

Building that area up coming along nicely that is going to be it for that layer again let’s move on to the next one okay again quite simple um polished andesite there stone block this time there’s going to be 1 two 3 four five six 7 8 two iron trap doors there and

There polished and sight full block just here so you’re going to skip one and then add 2 three 4 2 34 two polish stairs polish slab in the middle Carpets on the left and right and then iron TR door in the middle also Al taking a stone pressure

Plate that’s one there and one there as well you can probably add a few more Stone pressure plates along the build um just to add a bit more detail on the hole but yeah there those two there a polished undersight slab on each side here two stone slabs two Stone

Stairs and then this is polished Underside stairs one two 3 one two three and then last thing for this layer again 1 2 3 four light gray carpets just like that once again that’s it for that layer let’s move up to the final section which includes the the actual Bridge

Itself okay for this one start with the polished and theight again one there a lever just on the back and flip that down then on top polished oners side slab so we’re going to do a mixture of layers here because we’ve got uh three three more to go and then we’re

Done with the build so we’ll do them all in one stone block polished undersight this is a smooth stone slab on either side here if right now it’s not there it’s uh hang on one second do a polished undersight here first stone block there polished undersight here and here and

Then polish stairs there and there as well and take the iron trap door that’s one and two stem brick wall just here and here and then we’ll just finish off the whole details as well um going to do one and two iron trap doors there and then two light gray

Carpets two iron trap doors just here two again light gray carpet there and there right on the front here is a black last furnace which is in this tab you’re going to have the actual furnace part facing the front cuz this little bit here is meant to represent the actual

Bridge uh cuz it’s it is about there on the ship I think so it works out pretty well we need a dispenser it’s just one and two of those and then polished UND theight there and there in the middle here is a smoothstone slab and then iron trap doors one and

Two iron trap door on top of the dispensers anvil in the middle to represent the um I can’t remember which is which one’s a Communications Tower and one is uh a Target in the Ray I think on the isd1 which is kind of what this one represents with the uh with this stuck

Up that would be the target targeting array I believe fairly certain um but then you could definitely like flatten this down with a different block you could use a slab of some sort maybe a deep slate slab to make the ISD to um and then it would be your Communications Tower

Instead grindstone want to have it facing that way and that way so the the flat side with the with the little alarm on it should be facing towards the front and that is going to do it for the build I’m going to quickly clean up some of these ready for the

Showcase um but yeah like I said you can detail it up with uh pressure plates buttons things like that again I went a little bit simpler on this one um I know on the actual ship there it’s kind of like details down down here on the front which you could maybe approximate with

Little uh pressure plates like that but yeah I think this came out really nice I’m going to put the shaders on now so you can just see what it was like in a kind of more cinematic appearance it might come up quite bright because of

The um the Shader that I use but we’ll see um I know it’s not too bad yeah looks really respectable nice upgrade over the last one um for sure and yeah just a pretty cool build overall I hope you enjoyed I’m going to see you all in the next video have a
