Insane New 1.18 Minecraft Terrain!

Hello everybody and welcome to a brand new series uh let’s check out the 1.18 tour engine i had a look at a bunch of maps um and i cannot help myself we have to play a little bit so i’m planning on doing a little um mini series like uh six episodes maybe

Something like that our goal is just to beat the ender dragon but i want to check out the new terrain gen i want to check out the new caves um that sort of stuff so yeah we’ll do that um our seat for the uh generator i’ve checked out the

Minecraft seat before let’s go for minecraft plus plus don’t ask what happened to minecraft plus it’s not important uh create new world so if you want to play on the same map um there you go you can type that in i have not had a look

At this one though so i don’t know what what will await us maybe this will be a really cool map maybe it’ll be really bad we’re in the snow and there’s a hill okay um sure little buddy uh so yeah this is the 1.18 terrain gen and

It looks like we actually got lucky so um the alter engine still exists oh there’s a polar bear let’s think about lucky um yeah so the alter engine still sort of exists but now we also get these really big mountains that over there oh yeah that’s the neuter engine that’s

What that’s where we’ll go um so sometimes you just spawn in a map and everything looks the way it used to be and you fly around for a long long time before you find something cool um looks like we did get lucky and we found new terrain fairly early on um

Yeah let’s head over there so i’ll go for episode number one for today it’s just to find a cool place to live explore a little bit right have a look at things um looks like we’re in a snowy area and these can stretch quite a ways so i will probably settle in wood

Which is fine by me i just want to build a little cabin i guess that that’s fitting um do we live up on the mountain or in front of the mountains i like to be in front of the mountains so i can actually see the mountains but with how many

Mountains we now have we might actually be able to see a mountain while we’re on a mountain and that would be pretty cool so yeah now that that might be what we what we’re doing um do we go up that hill i think we are let’s go up here

Um not the tallest mountains just yet but a start i also don’t see any of the new snow so we’ll see how that’ll be when you encounter it i haven’t actually encountered the new powdered snow in game yet i’m kind of kind of excited to do that to see that oh yes

Look at that that’s cool that is really cool don’t mean i’m getting excited that’s such a cool thing oh man so we could live over there and just be surrounded by all these hills and have little um ice fishing cabin on the river do you go ice fishing on the rivers

I don’t know i’ve never been fishing in real life it sounds really boring um ice fishing probably even more so um so that i’ll probably never go but do you go ice fishing on on a river or do you only do that on lakes you need the bottom to be not frozen

Right so next probably better i don’t know oh that looks cool that looks so cool oh we got a drip stone cave over there as well we might have to check that out there’s more drip stone cave i wonder if that’s the same um ice lake ice river where do we go

Both look cool Is that trees or is it ice spikes i can’t really see it it kind of looks like ice spikes i think we have to check that out oh look at that cavern over there yeah let’s let’s try to get to over there it will probably turn night time by that once were there

Um i don’t have any food still that’ll be a problem so i want to see how hard the first nights are when you’re not digging in immediately i i’ve played this game a lot right and usually you wouldn’t see me doing this usually i open the game and

Cut to me getting another right pickaxe that’s how i do this usually um so yeah i never really experienced first nights anymore the way you used to i want to see how how hot they are nowadays um so far i have no food and that’s a big problem

That’s a very big problem we could have gotten some fish oh no okay yeah we could have gotten some fish which i probably should have done busting through the ice ice fishing i guess well there we go um yeah but i didn’t get any so uh we’re starting to be hungry ooh

That looks cool that looks good from the distance i thought this is just a cave but it’s like an opening that goes through the mountain then we have a little a little spring that goes in and flows through the cavern very cool i wonder if we’ll find

A village in this mountain oh yeah it’s a nice spike biome oh how cool i don’t think uh villages generating these i don’t know if they’re just generating these mountains food please um not going as i have planned not gonna plant much my spikes is cool i don’t know if i want

To live in a nice backspin but having or sister new snow well it’s just snow block i think you cannot have the snow layer on top of the new powdered snow that’s probably how we can spot them there’s a village awesome i said to the village they probably have food

Ah hey guys um i’m cold i’ve got wet feet um i’m hungry uh shelter please none of your crops are grown um hi food food thank you thanks bud it’s a very kind of you i’ll gladly take that got a horse it’s a cool area are you big

Yeah i like your little village i might rate it a little bit more got a bed and a furnace i should probably take the furnace i probably will oh wow that’s a lot of villagers wow that’s nuts can we get up there can’t okay just a normal house like that nice house

That’s cool hi no chest in here i’d like a little bit more food i don’t know if i want to That’s neat i don’t know if i want to live in the village i certainly want to take a few goodies thanks oh some leather boots i’m actually excited about these these actually have a use now so that’s a good find see what we have in here hey guys are you living together

Cool little light cool little hut i’ll leave now cool little village i like it let’s check out the igloo um there might be good st there there it is i lost it i couldn’t find it uh yeah there might be good stuff in here right there might be a um

Oh this is not the eagle i was thinking of this is just oh okay well no golden apple for us then yeah this is a cool place but i don’t think i want to live here um do we head on further it’s about to get nighttime

I think i want to go over there i think settling in front of the mountains with the iceberg spawn on top might be cool but i don’t want to ruin the village so let’s go in that direction and see what we can find i kind of want

To take a bell i will leave him from now just for now ow look there’s another village and there’s a ravine oh yep you can do that that looks cool nice i like that these mountains are cool and all but they’re not as crazy as i’ve seen there’s definitely minecraft’s holding back

So i’m not willing to settle just yet i am willing to loot a little more though so uh don’t mind if i do bye uh potatoes you know actually we could just sleep here right so i guess i found my way through the first night yeah we’ll experience that at another

Time i kind of want to get exploring i thought we’ll find a good place to settle by now oh hi um that’s a little weird now yeah i don’t have any weapons so do your thing do your thing sorry little guy um it wasn’t me it was not me

Looks like terrain is getting interesting over there again uh the village was over there um i i rate it a lot um i even took their soup so um whoops sorry but there are a lot of people there they got farms and all that i’m sure they can recoup that’s fine

Found one of these golden sword golden axe that would go here uh i’m gonna take all the things um so i might as well just do this nice last protection for i think we’re ready for the um for the mountain now let’s see what we can find over there

I’m just hoping we get one of the really cool mountains soon oh hey i think that’s one of the igloos that i was talking about okay turn around real quick give me a second sometimes they go down and then there’s stuff below you know i would have been here i guess

With the trapdoor i guess this one’s doing right that way oh like that and what do we go oh that that could be it hmm that could be it i don’t know the iceland looks cool let’s check that one out find another portal um oh hey that’s good i’ll take all this

Thank you um and i like this area we still haven’t found the really cool mountains but oh this is cool we could settle here somewhere i’m still gonna travel on a little further though uh i really like the terrain so i don’t mind exploring just a little longer

And this looks like it flattens out over there I was hoping for something a little taller maybe that looks cool okay so this might be a stupid idea um since we’re not really geared and all that but there is a village outpost and they do have loot so um i mean just a quick peek won’t hurt right just oh somebody’s here

Oh this one’s asserted i guess free loot i’ll take it sweet crossbow that goes there awesome this is a good place they got here looks neat wow that looks cool i like it so i want to travel on a little further hold on just uh straight across from

Oh yeah that’s more like it straight across from the village pillage outpost that looks like a good mountain i think we finally found home i think we finally found home i mean it did take like half an hour to get here but yeah that looks good i like that house right over there

Little cabin oh i want to have a look at the other side though let’s climb these mountains see what we can see so this might be some of the powdered snow over here where are we oh yeah it is oh oh oh uh lot of boots

Light as a rabbit so as you as you’ve seen um if you don’t have leather boots you uh sink in powdered snow and you will get really cold and eventually you start taking damage i’m guessing you can die from it i’m not sure if you can oh that death message

Must be hilarious though i think we have to try that out later on um but yeah um if you want to go walk around the mountains you need to leather boots no other boots will do that but yeah with leather boots you can actually walk on the powdered snow light as a rabbit

That’s the advancement set kind of cool right actually awesome rabbits no bunnies let’s see what we have on the other side here another peak you see that goats speak to me my friends [Laughter] oh yes goats um we can live here this will be a place yeah right over there

Maybe have some farms over there maybe a little um a little green house something like that oh yeah this is a good spot this is a good spot i like it we have goats speak to me friends oh that’s great hey there’s another portal do we live over there

This is the kind of terrain i was hoping for this is worse to pick someone uh i’m telling you um okay i’m gonna claim will settle over here i’m gonna go exploring though and if i find a better place we’ll settle over there but uh if i don’t

Tell you or settling somewhere else right there there’s a lot of good places around but yeah i think i want to actually settle over here let’s plop down the uh the few belongings that we took from the villagers that we traded with the locals um as i usually uh call it let’s

There we go put that on there i want this to be a double chest thank you just stopped up good so um we want to place down our bed nice there’s definitely mobs below um quickly plop this stuff into here we’ll set our spawn and i found two maps and i quickly want

To have a look at one of them snow okay um they get some paper not enough okay um we could make all right we do this we get three paper right we can actually zoom out once uh so we’ll do that map zero tada and it’s just snow

Okay yeah this will be i guess the map of our little abode of a little house area living quarters if you will um just this snowy crater on top of the mountains really cool i wonder if that has a name like the just snowy indent it’s not really a volcano

A snow cano i don’t think that’s it but yeah i think that’ll look cool without a little house over there maybe so as i said greenhouse trees here and there a few paths some lamps oh yeah that’ll be great [Applause] okay i’ll leave jesus oh the goats are awesome i haven’t actually um done anything with him yet but ah that is so funny i like him awesome yeah that that’s the whole map kind of cool um i had a look around there is some cows over in that

Direction so we can get some leather and some good tools i gotta go and chop down some trees um and stuff so in the next episode i want to go caving right and i found a bunch of cool cave entrances um so we’ll probably have to prepare for that as in i will

Have to prepare for that just have a few chests over here for now um yeah i gotta go now uh get some some basic tools and get some basic gear mainly a bunch of wood so we can uh have stuff for torches and maybe get some coal i’m not quite sure

The basic stuff but before i go and end the episode there’s two things i want to die to but yeah um don’t don’t look at me like that it’s science okay it’s important things we’ll take off all of our armor so we don’t lose anything

Um i want to die to powdered snow i just want to see what the death message is i want to see the effect definitely have some around i think that’s look at all the goats okay let’s uh let’s see what happens guys i’m freezing oh it’s so cold no it’s so cold

Oh no this might take a while um it’s a nice vignette that looks kind of cool you could probably use that to take screenshots of things freaking off oh that goes away there we go that’s a nice one and just froze to death that’s it huh okay well that was

Less funny than i thought it would be probably could have put something better there you don’t just friendly goats ow oh just slain by goat oh mojang come on you could have done something with that all right but now um enough of that it’s time for me to go and

Get a bunch of wood um mainly just would i’ll probably just uh make some chalk calls so we’re ready to go and do the case i saw a bunch of cool cave entrances already uh that we can use let’s actually put that there um so yeah
