Insane Redstone Melon Farm Tutorial

Hello guys and why has it work hello guys and we’re back with another Minecraft and yes this place looks different and that is because we’re currently on my friend’s survival server well I say survival it’s also got creative in it and yeah we’re here for the second part of the Redstone tutorial

As you can see our melon farm here Perfecto absolutely looks good you know it does what wants it to do so what I’m quickly going to do is take care over the first designs I started looking for uh going through so yeah the first design I went through is so that uh this

One and the way this works is that the Pistons will push down here like here and basically will destroy the pumpkin not pumpkin even melon and water which would have been placed here would push it around and go down and blah blah and it ends up just going all the way down

However we came across uh I came across a few annoying Parts uh fact that I’m not sure if melons actually spawn in water so there would have been water flowing down here constantly uh another annoying thing is that if this pumpkin spawn melon melon spawned first the water will divert and

Just wipe all of these seeds away so you have to come up and I didn’t want that I wanted it to be fully sustainable so all I have to do is press a button so yeah it came across a couple of problems I did at one point put in a

T flip-flop so that you have to push the button twice and and uh yeah so you have to push the button twice and on the second one the water will come and when you press it again so yeah uh and then don’t know why this is leaking I’ll just patch

Up uh so yeah this is this the this this was a second design and it’s still no it’s not water SK and yeah so this was I saw a video where someone had it where it was 4×4 but I wanted it to be a little bit

Bigger and for it to be more reliable because when you’re having it 4×4 as such um the pumpkin uh it was no sorry it was it was even like this there was there was a seed here here here and here and yeah if for example a melon went there and this from this

One and a melon from this one went here it meant you can only get those so you only have three at a time three or four at a time so I wanted to be a little bit more reliable than that so I decided to build one which was flat and yeah and I

Just built it on top I made it stack all to some degree uh and yeah here we go so the way it works is when you press a pressure plate uh this knotted gate here so it’s currently High even though this isn’t activated so so when you step on that

This will go low it will uh it will come up here by the Redstone wire in this repeat it will be directed into oh God I just broken it I’m so sorry guys I just broken it I did not meant to do that let me just quickly fix that as you can see

Yeah there we go there you go so it’s done all of this side if you looked there so yeah what happens is this bot gets powered so this Stone gets powered and if you come over here you can see let me just pick up all the melons there’s just a whole load

Of not Gates going all the way down underneath it and this is what powers the Pistons so when this uh turns off so when this goes low the KN Gates underneath here go high powering the Pistons pushing it up like here we need to just do a block update I think no

It’s not that’s actually not that’s ticked out there and yeah so that thing comes all the way across so Powers all the way across here where it then gets powered here into this block and VI Redstone mechanics it gets powered into this block because of the torch you’re

Then getting an opposite signal to what’s being powered in so the high here is being knotted into a low which the low is then being knotted into the high here so these all like KN Gates where this is then going into another knot gate here which is powering this block

Which in turn PLS all this Redstone here which activates the top piston I think it’s 1 2 3 four ticks after so what then happens is the top pistons will then push all the little part all the entities all the melon slices entities across into the water

And will then Glide AC Glide all the way down into the let’s get in there I can’t get into this little hole down here so it’s stackable in the fact that it’s two floors and it all runs off the same Redstone ideas so what happens here this

Is let’s just go back to this side so after this block gets powered all of this Redstone gets powered where it then goes into this block not not being knotted here into this block which is empowering this block here this line and it’s just basically the exact same so if

You B if you basically want to extend this to an infinite amount all you need to do is do that that place a block on top and then do all your Redstone wiring all your Redstone wires across here do the Redstone wire like so and then put the Torches in so

They’re knotted and then that’s basically a new line done uh it’s stackable but you can’t place them next to each other because the Redstone get stuck and screwed up uh so yeah let’s see it in action o let’s put down here don’t like it need

Then sticky pistons the bottom ones are sticky pistons it’s not supposed to be extending there sort out layer um has to be like that you have to make it more than two blocks or it won’t work so yeah these have to be sticky pistons so that the the the dirt goes up

And then back down but the top ones can either be sticky pistons or normal Pistons so for each floor with the water what you have to do is put a sign here and it has to be on either this block or this block cuz if you place it here it

Interferes with the uh the sticky piston sounds read I’m not entirely sure why but that happens and basically what it does is when you remove this uh the water comes down here and it pushes this way so all the bottom floor uh loot as I
