Of things that they could have done with the camel that I feel like they just dropped the ball on the moded deep dark is so much better deep dark that’s the name of the thing I was trying to think of it looks cool man I think the Deep

I’ve never explored it for myself but from what I’ve seen of it it looks very cool um and that was like a fascinating little thing that they definitely um maybe not needed to do but it definitely helped the Overworld out but what they need to do now is give the end City some

Love um cuz imagine all this but without any of that without these without that without this without those without them without these like literally just empty islands with just like some chorus plants on it and like Enderman just Enderman there’s no other mobs in the End they they’ve paid a lot of attention to the nether I think a lot of people were asking for a nether update too which H the Nethers don’t give me I think feel like everything could use an update in Minecraft um I guess at some point you’re going to look at vanilla

Minecraft and be like well that’s not vanilla Minecraft anymore it’s clearly modded Minecraft now cuz like they’re adding the automatic uh crafting thing right or like autocrafting terminal or whatever it’s called that is super cool looking dude oh it it took me a second to figure out what this was that’s super cool

But uh I think out of all the different stuff going on in vanilla the end cities could have used the love more than anything what they add do they what was the um the mob vote decided was it armadillo which makes wolf armor WoW why I mean wolf Armor’s neat and all but

Like I don’t know about you guys but when I get a wolf as a pet no matter what world I’m playing in no matter if it’s modded or not regardless of the situation I love wolves I love having a dog as a pet in the game but that’s literally the the

Entirety of it right I tame the wolf I take it home I sit it down and it stays in my base forever and ever and like the armor for the wolf is cool if it looks different right but like they added armor trims right so you can put Trims

And stuff on on yourself but like why not put Trims on the armor for your horse why not put Trims on the armor for your wolf I think that would probably have added a little bit more variety to that type of thing it just it feels a little underwhelming what they’re doing

Um especially since it takes like 6 to 12 months for them to come up come out out with an update like that like how often is the mob vote it’s not very often I don’t know I’m not trying to trash Mojang um I guess uh my my feelings are probably coming from a

Perspective of somebody that’s like recently discovered how incredible modded Minecraft really is and like the potential that the game has and then I look at vanilla Minecraft and I’m just like oh wow you got wolf armor it’s cool it it’s just not as cool as modded I Guess the modded deep dark is so much better bring uh bosses in not a useless mob yeah dude or even if you don’t want to put bosses in the game first of all the warden’s very cool I I’m a big fan of the warden I think that was a great idea

It adds a whole different level of Challenge and variety to the game that it didn’t have before that’s phenomenal bosses make a big difference if you add something sort of like the Wither that you needed to collect parts for and create and you fought it and it gave you

Something crazy modders are a different breed yeah I mean I don’t know I I can’t say I’ve ever met anybody that’s played modern Minecraft and been like nah not for me I’d rather play vanilla like everybody that I’ve ever known that plays modded Minecraft is like well I am

Never going to play vanilla again cuz this is buns um not that it’s buns it’s still a phenomenal game um bosses do add a whole different level of just craziness right the warden made a big difference in the game even if the warden’s drops are useless right like I

Think that the warden drops what are called catalysts and the catalysts when broken drop XP so it’s technically a form of portable XP which essentially is your XP bottles right but it drops way more XP than the XP bottle um they’re farmable in a way that like you

Can make a warden farm and have an infinite amount of catalysts just in chests whereas like when the with the XP bottles you got to trade for villagers you got to get emeralds it’s a bit of a process obviously creating the farm for the wardens is a process but once it’s

Done it’s technically fully automatic right um so that’s one benefit of the warden other than that I don’t really see much like use of the Warden other than the fact that it’s like the adventure itself like discovering the Lost Cities uh going there and collecting the loot which is like what what’s in the loot there it’s like uh I can’t remember the name of the enchantment I think we just found what

Sand what else kind of looks like sand the Limestone almost Blends in a little bit with it Elder prismarine oh my gosh we have a lot of prismarine oh we can make more dark prismarine that’s not a problem we didn’t get very much dude that’s freaking expensive it’s eight prismarine shards

And a piece of black dye for one block of dark Prismarine Elder Prismarine I sort of like just the plain old Limestone we don’t really need much of it Either yay dude you telling me eight blocks of Elder prismarine and one black d makes a single block of dark Elder prismarine have you lost your mind that’s freaking crazy dude that is so Expensive oo that look good though freaking expensive oh my gosh Goodness W Okay I think we do the floor first and then work into like some pillars in an archway opening the entrance into o not that uh I’m just don’t know how I want to take this Some sort of like roundish shape oops what’s like some Limestone scattered here and there just to help blend the sand in just a little bit the Elder prismarine blocks too you know what I just thought is there like a sand block what’s that smooth glow stone oh that’s hot Dude Desert Stone not really what I’m going for here can you craft a no you can’t craft a bounty board that’s unfortunate that’s a cool looking block flip-flop Goo uh there’s Sandy bricks and then there’s like Sandstone bricks which actually look pretty good Just polished Sandstone into a brick Sandstone brick stairs some of the wood would look good like oh you can stain wood too Granite pavement what’s that carved oak wood that looks nice I think I saw a couple of blocks of that inside that little dungeon that we were just in in the end I don’t know about the Sandstone bricks or whatever this is Sandy braks I think that’s a little too dark for what we’re going for Here polished Soul Sand braks man there’s so many good looking blocks dude I want to use them all oops okay so I think the goal is to get a little bit heavier on our blockage out Here right and then just kind of ease it into the sand and then we’ll we’ll put like a couple of sand blocks scattered here and there something like these goodness that actually looks pretty nice I like that dude that’s very uh like beach like so we continue this like pattern out into the rest like I think the whole floor should be probably made out of that we need to actually scatter a couple of like bricks in this area too just like one or two here and there

Yikes sort of makes me wish I didn’t make the whole floor outside of their sand we scattered in some of the stuff there too Think we need more Sandstone back this way too or sorry I keep calling it Sandstone I mean Limestone that’s my bad the Limestone feels a little bit sturdier like it’s got more umph to it more like Structure and uh as we come out away from the Sandy area we want this to feel very strong right like it’s a platform kind of it’s kind of sort of overhanging I mean it’s not so much overhanging now as it’s going to maybe look wait a second how are we going to take

That if our wall you know what I think our pillars are going to end up like right here so like a a 2X two pillar right here and then a 2X two pillar like right there but it merges into the wall right and then same with

This one it’s it just merges the whole way up into the wall and then something to do with the wall around the outer edge I might end up leaving this like walking path here we’ll make it look a little bit nicer than the the way it is

Now but that way that there’s this little overhanging lip and that there’s a farther back wall just to add a little bit more Dimension and give like this bottom half even more of a separation between that and the upper platforms I think that might look

Okay we’ll see we kind of you got to play it by ear you know sometimes you make something happen because you think it’s going to look good and then it looks not good so small potatoes for The CH entrance needs something oh don’t worry we’re getting there I totally agree with you dude we’re going to get that feel like maybe this comes out one more Block O we’re going to put like uh this like the prismarine type style and we’re

Going to do like pillars and a bit of an archway and I don’t think we’re going to leave any charge Stone behind maybe maybe but uh I’m kind of leaning against that that platform feels a little bit better gives it some more girth and that

Way we can get like a good pillar in there instead of just like a little dinky pillar that doesn’t really do much for us that’s just temporary so mobs don’t spawn here right now all right let’s just use the regular prising for now we’ll get like a general shape down

And then we’ll come back and tweak it with other shapes and colors staircases and slabs and stuff okay do we carve out let’s carve out this wall and make it look like the pillar itself is like eating the wall yay and then it has to like merge into the

Wall kind of the way it does it it’s not totally symmetrical it’s not totally symmetrical if it was this pillar would would be moved to the left one block but I don’t think it’s I don’t think it would look right if it was symmetrical I mean it

Might look right if it was symmetrical but I think that’s what we’re going for here we’re trying to avoid the Symmetry not for the sake of like going against the grain but more for the sake of like giving ourselves a bit of a challenge and more or less like

Pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone experimenting with different pallets different capabilities of like blocks and what what can we do to make things look good and not go symmetrical cuz Mo like I don’t know about you guys but when I started playing Minecraft everything had to be symmetrical all the

Time 24/7 and as I’ve grown as a builder and just a player in general I’ve tried to lean farther and farther away from it just for the sake of variety for the sake of like more natural feeling builds um now obviously some things are better off symmetrical like this wall around

The edge like I’m very happy with how that turned out and I don’t think that would have looked like decent with if it was not symmetrical right um but I think there’s a fine balance between the two of them right like for one of the examples these pillars if they were all

The same height it might look a little Bland you might just be like all pillar all pillar you just copy and paste right but um even though they’re similar they have the same color palette style they’re they’re all very different from one another and it adds a lot of variety

And height and it kind of brings your eyes all over the place right like if they were all the same height your eyes would be focused on this one height whereas like they’re all different places so it kind of pulls you all over the place right um which is kind of what

We want especially as we continue with this build and we develop these islands we get other things in there like the displays that we’re going to have to represent the different levels of achievements we’ve done throughout rlcraft like pulling your eyes all over the place not kind of not so much

Overwhelming but just having like a whole slew of stuff to just like go explore and look at that’s kind of what I’m aiming for here and when it comes to these pillars I think having them offset kind of gives it a little something something but yeah yeah

Variety uh probably some Limestone too um as an accent color right if it’s all blue it’s going to just kind of blend into itself it’s going to get a little dull um the dark prismarine is going to help but we don’t have a whole lot of

That to work with unless we want to go farming squids and I don’t know if I really care for that I guess we if we really wanted to farm squids we could poke a hole in our um our little display up above us and just let our mans kill

All the squids and then just like stick a magnet on ourselves so that it pulls all the the drops from the squids to us but he’s going to beat our cheeks if we’re in there cuz he does kill squids constantly right that’s black Dy which we would probably still need some more prismarine

Crystals but I’m thinking like some sort of Archway here as well as detail on the pillars themselves and I think that might do it depending on how we take the walls itself and how the walls blend with that entrance might be sufficient might look nice might look

A sea serpent there but like with staircases and slabs and in a more two-dimensional aspect right like imagine like a flat pimp name flatback like a a flat wall in the back and it was like patterned and detailed and nice but on the upper front half of the the

Thing we created this like um Mosaic type of like display of a sea serpent that just kind of sits on this flat the pimp name flatback wall I like that I like the idea that I might might be overthinking it but that sounds like it would look really cool h
