After simply typing in this address and pressing the done button baby lions would be exposed to a world that I didn’t even realize existed right when you joined the server you were smacked in the face with this ginormous tree and in the surrounding areas were parkour obstacles that I have wasted so much

Time on as I was waiting for my friends to hop on also in your inventory you will find the compass that you can use to choose from the variety of game modes that made this server so special as a kid who grew up watching Team Crafted and the pack I always wanted to

Experience Hunger Games or Block Hunt for myself but I never understood how since I was a stupid dumb child who didn’t know about the existence of multiplayer servers I would spend every day just binge watching these videos on my original iPad yes I was part of the first generation prehistoric era of iPad

Kids and one video that really stood out to me when I was younger was this one from Lachlan where he played Block Hunt on Mineplex with Little Lizard Gaming this video was huge to baby lions for many reasons first of all llan was using a texture pack that made all the blocks

And characters look like Pokemon and the pigs were slowpokes which if you didn’t know is my favorite Pokemon so that immediately got me hooked also he was playing with Little Lizard Gaming which is specifically sentimental to me since my first YouTube channel was called Ian Lizard Gaming so kids at school and in

My comment section would always say that I was trying to copy him but I wasn’t okay so leave me alone it’s also impossible to not mention Captain Sparkles when talking about Mineplex and OG YouTube since he became a part owner of the server very early on and pretty

Much carried the content surrounding it for a duration of its prime years so with the inspiration of all the biggest YouTubers at the time my friend Scorch and I dedicated our lives to Mineplex playing the server every day after school for hours on end and making the most insufferable content ever there are

A handful of mini games that I enjoyed playing when I was younger but the one that was at the top of my list may come as a bit of a surprise since it isn’t Survival Games cak Wars or any other super commonly discussed game you hear about with Mineplex instead it was micro

Battles I don’t know where my obsession over micro battles developed because this was one of the few mini games that I didn’t watch content about literally if there was anything to do with the Mineplex server as a whole I was watching YouTube slop of it just eating

Munching globber it down on my sticky little iPad but with micro battles I never really watched anything about it instead I just straight up played it one night out of the blue and decided it was the greatest creation known to man up until that point Scorch and I would

Spend around 85% of the Year 2015 just playing this miname all day and I know it’s a bit played out to say but oh my I I miss those times so much if you’re a stupid dumb little baby child that never got the chance to play micro battles

Screw you but also I’ll explain the game mode for you because I’m not a mean person in micro battles there were four teams red yellow green and blue and these four teams were on a small circular Island that was divided into four parts to correspond with the team

Colors the goal of the game was to wipe out all the opposing colored teams and while you’re battling it out with them the island that you are on is slowly getting smaller and smaller meaning the final survivors will all be forced to fight against one another in the middle

Or just fall off the island entirely I think the reason I preferred micro battles over all the other game modes on Mineplex was because of the Simplicity of it but also the fact that the game was non-stop action and really quick meaning each time you boot up a mic M

Battles game it wouldn’t take more than around 10 to 15 minutes to beat although micro battles was my preferred miname whenever I logged on to Mineplex it wasn’t the only thing I spent my time on since I was still an easily impressionable child who wanted to be

Like the YouTubers I looked up to so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that I have my fair share of hours on survival games Survival Games was The Hunger Games equivalent available on Mineplex and was one giant PVP battle on a map where you had to find resources

And be the last one standing this is about to be the most cringe brain dead comparison I’m ever going to make on this channel but you can kind of say that Mineplex Survival Games is like fortnite Battle Royale because last last one standing Victory get the last the

Battle Victory battle but I also liked Block Hunt Dragon Escape and Draw My Thing each of these made up a major part of my childhood experience of Mineplex and I will forever be grateful that This Server existed and played a role in my life sadly however as most of you

Probably already know Mineplex shut down on May 11th of 2023 due to a multitude of reasons and although there have been some rumors and discussions of the server coming back soon things were just not the same towards the end of this server’s life and I don’t mean things

Were not the same from a Nostalgia perspective instead the perception around the server from the public was just just not what it used to be since other servers like Hypixel became the go-to place for mini games because they offered the better experience as for the future the official Mineplex website

Says that it is coming soon and as most of you know the server was acquired by somito who plans on Reviving it eventually I’m excited to see what the future may hold for This Server as we wait for its eventual re-release and I guarantee you when it eventually does
