Mind-Blowing: Minecraft Universe MIMICS 1:95 Earth Scale!

Hey guys Truman here and welcome back to another video today I got a very exciting video for you but I want to start off by saying I am still in Texas and whenever I got here I noticed nearly half my family was sick I tried to avoid it but

I ended up getting a cold but no worries I am all better and I did actually have to upgrade my internet while I was here because we had a three megabit download and one megabit upload and that was just awful I couldn’t even upload a video without

It taking hours but everything is all good now so that is where I’ve been the last few days I didn’t want to leave you guys hanging on that but in today’s video I’m gonna be showing you guys earth in Minecraft now this is a mod because if earth was converted to a

World file and then you downloaded that world file it would be terabytes in size so you don’t want to do that you want to play a mod where the earth is generating as you go and the way this works is it’s actually really cool you can put a coordinate off Google Maps into

Minecraft and then just teleport to that coordinate essentially just wherever your house is wherever you want to visit on earth you put that coordinate in and then bam you’re there just in Minecraft so and it is a bigger scale so not everything is exact but today I’m going to take you

Guys on a small adventure so you can get a little preview of some of the places that you may want to visit in your life so here we go if you guys do enjoy the video leave a like sorry for the extra long intro but yeah let’s go ahead and

Get started okay so here I am at the world creation menu if you want to create an earth world once the mod is installed which by the way is like 150 megabytes so it’s already pretty big but once it’s installed I’m just gonna switch to creative and then go into more world

Options and then change your world type – it should be earth yeah just like that then click done name it whatever you want I’m gonna call it earth yeah pretty pretty clever and then create new world now this may take a while and it says converting world Oh actually it okay no

Yeah it’s going to take a little bit so I’ll be back in just a minute okay almost right after I said that it spawned me in so here I am this is what earth looks like right when you spawn in turf and I guess I’m in a jungle biome

But I have no idea where this is exactly on earth but I’m gonna go over to Google Maps and find a coordinate of an interesting place on earth and then I will show you guys how to get to that coordinate okay so here I am on Google

Maps and looks pretty cool I’m gonna go ahead and type in Madagascar in the search bar and we’re there’s a picture right over there you can kind of see what it looks like but let’s go ahead and go with the city of the Thomasina if anybody’s watching from there hi let me

Know in the comments but yes I’m going to go ahead and go up to the URL bar and copy in the coordinates that is up there just delete the commas in between the numbers and then copy those alright here I am in game and I’m going to teleport

Using the command slash teepee lat/long and then I’m going to paste in the coordinate now I didn’t delete the commas beforehand so I’m going to do that real quick boom just like that there should only be two then press ENTER and you should be teleported right

To those coordinates and just give it a second because this is earth and it’s pretty big so and it looks like I’m stuck in a tree so let me fly out of there and here we are okay so this looks like Madagascar I mean we did just leave

A jungle but the beaches here are a little bit different as you saw in the picture there are some big beaches here I mean this is probably as close as you can get to Madagascar with the current blocks and Minecraft obviously this is generated at least a little close to

Madagascar so I’m pretty surprised considering I just put in a random coordinate so that’s really cool and I don’t know how long this goes on so like I said the scale is 1 to 95 which means if I fly here for a little bit maybe

Like for a minute I might go being an entire different country I don’t even know so yeah that’s one place I would definitely want to visit in my life though so let’s go back to Google Maps and see if we can’t find another cool place okay let’s zoom out here away from

Madagascar a little bit and let’s uh let’s go over to Africa let’s go to Egypt of course we’ll have to stop by Cairo and see what that is all about I’m sure it’s really desert II but we’ll see I’m just gonna copy these coordinates and I’ll see you over in the game okay

So I’ve got the command typed in and I’m teleporting to Cairo now everything should be yes very desert II now there aren’t any cities I know what you’re thinking Jason are their cities and houses can I go visit my own house no you can’t because I don’t think there’s any data out there

That makes that possible but yeah it looks like everything is a very desert II here in Cairo so that’s really cool how long this probably goes forever but yeah you got some pretty cool stuff out here like cacti and dead bushes you know all that good stuff but it does have

Some pretty interesting generation here yeah I mean that’s Cairo moving on to the next location on earth all right zooming out from Cairo Egypt here we are going to go over to the Americas and we’re gonna go check out Alaska let’s go to Nome Alaska it’s about to get chilly

And here are the coordinates for Nome Alaska I’m gonna paste those in and in seconds we are now in Alaska we just went from Cairo to Alaska instantly and look everything is so I see here very flat very few trees it doesn’t look like too much else is going on but I think

Animals do spawn in these areas by the way I know it doesn’t really look like it so far and Madagascar we saw some cows but we got some pumpkins out here don’t think those are natural but if I do press f3 says I am in the ice Plains I don’t know

If that’s relevant because the mod does what it wants okay it was a little too cold in Alaska I’m gonna zoom out here and I’m going to check out mmm I’m actually gonna type in New Zealand I really want to go to New Zealand during my lifetime and yeah I guess I’ll see

What it looks like in Minecraft first okay so here are the coordinates for Wellington yeah I wonder if anyone’s actually watching from Wellington that would be cool by the way I love your country New Zealand looks really beautiful and that’s some place I really want to visit someday but looking at it

Here kind of does look similar to Madagascar it’s got some thinner beaches but it is very jungly so you can see it lots of tall trees and stuff melons but this place looks really cool let’s go ahead and fly over this way so you can see the different generation it looks

Like there are some strange little Hills going on here I know there’s some mountains in New Zealand but I don’t see any nearby so we may miss that we have made we may have missed those this time but I might have to come back here and

Explore a little more but yeah moving on to the next earth location all right we’re done with New Zealand it looked very beautiful but I’m going to move on to you guys know we had to visit here we’re gonna go to Sweden and it’s time to visit Stockholm alright I just put in

The coordinates for Stockholm Sweden we have to visit Sweden I just want to take a look at this generation I know the terrain in Sweden is very unique and it looks like it is as well in the mod so you got all these kind of little pockets of water these little rivers running

Through the land here this is really cool and it’s cold over here I see I know there’s some grassy areas though there has to be right it can’t all be icy maybe this I don’t know but yeah you got some water some crazy river generation going on over there and then

Yeah it’s just icy and it looks like that’s pretty much it but yeah I’ve never been to Sweden but I definitely would like to go someday especially considering that minecraft was made in Sweden and you guys all know that so yeah I mean that is pretty much
