Hey guys mr. crayfish and welcome back to a redstone tutorials in this tutorial today I’m going to be teaching you how to build this simple elevator so in all my redstone tutorials I asked you guys to give me suggestions for what I should build and a lot of them were elevators So I’ve came up with my own design here this is 100% my design didn’t look at any videos didn’t look at anything I just decided to try this kind of concept that I had in my mind I was actually getting the idea walking home from school so I’ll show you how this works So all you have to do is go halfway in between these two blocks here then hold space and then here we go here’s our floor we’ll jump into it and then as you can see we’re up the top and we can see the smiley face over there hello hey Dylan and then to head back down all you have to do is go on the right or the left side like that and fall into the water at the bottom and that is practically it so let’s teach you how to build this now now there aren’t going to Be any specific amounts of materials that you’re going to need today because it depends on how tall you want your elevator so what you are going to need is some tripwire hooks some string some redstone some sticky pistons and some blocks of your choice the first thing That we want to do is create a pillar and make the height of this how high you want the elevator to be so I’m just going to do a random amount I don’t really need to do any specific amount for this tutorial so do that and then That’s going to be our backing to place the sticky piston so what you want to do is get your sticky pistons now and place them all up along this pillar then in front of the sticky pistons pay place some more blocks oops now diagonal left this block you want to Create another pillar and you want to make that the height of your elevator that you’ve got and then you want to do it one more time and I’m just going to be doing a different block just because I want to keep a theme do it to the Right side as well so diagonal right and then again and you should have something that looks like this so far now on these blocks on the ends here what we’re going to do is from the third one and up we’re going to place tripwire hooks do it for the same On the other side so the third one and up then in between all the tripwire hooks place your string now we’re going to do the red stoning so make sure you pay careful attention here so this is the block that the first tripwire hooks are on so we’ll go around the back here And then the block below it you want to place a block in front of it then another block like that we’ll go down one more layer to the right here place a block there and then a block in front of it place redstone on top of that for This next bit what we need to do is we need to go two blocks forward and then we need to go one block down then one block to the right and then one block to the back now you might be wondering why I’m putting this book at the back here And I’ll explain in a second so place a redstone on top of that and the reason I’ve put this extra block here is to make it so the redstone doesn’t directly go into the piston because if this did it would power that one there whereas if this is turning it only powers this Bottom one now this just repeats all again so what we need to do is this bottom one first so one to go down right to there like that redstone on top then do this one again so two forward one down one to the right then one to the back redstone on top and You want to continue that until you get to the top of your elevator and there we go we’re at the top of this slide now the other side what you’ve got to do is start at this second one here so what we need to do is we want to go around place A block below it and a block behind it then go down to the left here and then block in front of it redstone on top like that then above it two to the front one down one to the left and then one to the back right so it on top and then keep Repeating this pattern until you get to the top so there we go guys that is this simple elevator and as we always do let’s test it so let’s go halfway in between these blocks as I showed at the start of this video and all we need to do is hold Space and we’ll go up slowly there we go now we can just jump into our room if we did have one there so that is it for this tutorial I hope you guys enjoyed this today if he did remember to leave a like subscribe if you want to keep Updated with my redstone tutorials because I do post them quite frequently and that is really all room to like and I’ll see you guys next time bye bye Video Information
