Puredominace – Secret trick to getting custom maps on Minecraft, PS3!

What is up everybody today we are currently on my computer and today’s video is going to be completely about this elephant no no it’s not no it’s not I’m sorry as you clicked on this video and we were looking for an elephant I apologize you’re in the wrong place

Today I’m actually going to be showing you guys how to download custom apps on your ps3 and my goal with this video is to make it as simple and easy for you guys to understand as possible as well as fast so I’m not going to waste a

Whole lot of time talking I’m just going to be showing you guys exactly what you need to do download custom apps on your ps3 so to get started what you obviously need to do is get on your computer and you don’t need this cool elephant in the

Background like I have but what you do need is an internet connection so you can go onto the internet and find your maps to download right so if you want to download custom apps on your ps3 the first thing you’re going to need is some custom maps and if you guys don’t know

Where to find custom maps I have a couple of links in the description to different websites where you can download custom maps for your ps3 and just go on one of those websites find the map you want and then click it download it and you should end up with

Something like this so obviously here is a file I downloaded I think this is some kind of mini game so you can see that if I go ahead and I just right-click and I go extract all and I click extract yes now you can see inside of this folder so

Now if I come back over here and I open this you can see on the inside we have the correct folder which I want and I was going to go ahead and copy this out here and I no longer need this zip file because this zip file will not work for

Me if I try and put this onto my ps3 because it has to be extracted out and if for some reason when you right-click your your file here and you don’t see extract all you need to download a program either called WinRAR or 7-zip and then with one of those programs you

Should be able to extract your your files so after you’ve gone ahead and done that I will have a link to both of those in the description as well winrar and 7-zip if you want to find those just go ahead and download those and then you

Should be able to get a folder like this and inside of it if you go ahead and double-click this icon you’re going to be able to see the thumbnail of the world you just downloaded so obviously you can see here I think it’s some kind of chicken minigame is when I downloaded

Obviously as you can probably tell here and here’s just a little thumbnail in this file right here is actually the map that we want so you can see here obviously I have the map and now we need to do is we need to plug in a u.s.

To our computer so you can see if I come in here and I go to my folder and I come down here to Ollie Ollie is actually my my flash drive and inside of my flash drive you can see I have a ps3 folder I

Have a save data folder and then I have two different Maps here which I don’t actually need these are just Maps I’d downloaded before so I’m just gonna go ahead and check those out really quick and if you’ve never used your USB flash drive on your ps3 before it’s likely

That you’re not going to see anything in here when you click on it’s just going to be empty so to go ahead and recreate that what you guys are seeing right now I’m going to go ahead and make mine the exact same so I’m going to go ahead get

Rid of that folder and in order to do this we need to first go ahead come in here create a folder and we’re just going to recreate the two folders we just saw so the first one is entitled ps3 and then inside of that folder I’m

Going to come in here and I’m going to go new folder and I’m going to call it save data now I like to make everything uppercase just like you saw it I don’t know if it makes a difference but I’m not really trying to find out if it does

Or not so I just do it all uppercase anyway so on your flash drive go ahead and make these two folders that I just did make one ps3 and then inside of that put a save data folder and then now go ahead and go into that save data folder take

Your custom map that you just downloaded and then throw it into that file now it’s going to copy inside and that’s pretty much it you’ve pretty much done all of the the transfer work that you needed to do on your computer now what you need to do is just come down here go

Ahead and eject your flash drive and then we’re going to go over to the ps3 where we are going to put the custom map on our console so I’m just gonna go ahead and eject that pull out my USB flash drive and I will see you guys on

The ps3 boom isn’t editing just incredible here we are obviously on the main screen of the ps3 I want from my computer pretty fast I’d like to say but regardless here we are like I said on the main screen of the ps3 and what we want to do now is

Plug in your USB device if you have not already and then navigate over here to game and then down to save data utility so in here you’re going to be able to see your USB flash drive as well as all of the maps that you currently have on

Your profile so you can see here obviously I have one map on my ps3 currently and it is called TNT and you can see that obviously right over there on the right hand side and if I scroll up here are just kind of some miscellaneous data files for the Minecraft Playstation

Edition obviously save cash and options is against the two things that are saved there however there are no other maps on here so the only other map that we are going to be adding is our little chicken minigame as you can see here so if I go

Ahead and I just click on this USB device we can see boom here is our minecraft ps3 edition chicken magnate oh that’s what it’s called chicken magnate is my mini game and then we want to go ahead and do is hit triangle and then we

Want to hit copy and it’s going to copy this over to my main hard drive on my ps3 so now you can see if I come over here into my actual savegames we can see now I have another one over here and it’s called chicken magnet and if I go

Ahead and I boot up my minecraft world on ps3 we’re going to be able to see that I now have this custom map on my console so like I had said at the beginning I didn’t want to waste your guys’s time watching you guys boot that up so here obviously we’re on minecraft

Ps3 if I click play game we should be able to see here in just a moment that my new map has been added into my playlist here if we just wait a second for this to work there we are you can see chicken magnate is now in my games

And if I go ahead and I click load I’m going to get a little warning that says trophies will be disabled because this a belongs to another player obviously cuz you didn’t make the world but that’s not a big deal because if we go ahead and we

Load it up it is going to work just fine so after this loading screen I will go ahead and show you guys that it works just fine and voila here we are so obviously the map loaded up just fine you can see I can move no problem lag isn’t much of an

Issue I might actually play this mini game now that I went ahead and downloaded it but either way you can see obviously here is the original place where the screenshot was taken in that little thumbnail and now we can play this mini game if we really wanted to so
