Hey guys welcome back to another episode of Feed the Beast Genesis I’m your host renovate guys there was an update to the pack so we are now playing at 1.2.2 I believe and it said that there was a a new quest for some beetroots right and I didn’t see it in here it

Shows that we have rewards that we can collect um I don’t want this but I’m not seeing maybe I’m missing it but I’m not seeing anything that has anything to do with with those seeds oh here it is right here Secret the seeds a strange transmission resonates from within the

Fields its source is unknown as if it’s coming from the plants themselves after some investigating you’ve confirmed there are a me there is a message hidden in the very genetic structure of the plants here in the seed Vault after some quick translation you determine the message reads the beetroot was so aply

Chosen as to be the root of all evolutionary genetics for ayra’s future find the three variants and strains and submit them all right so uh if you look at this it’s got beetroot written in yellow beetroot written in Orange and beetroot written in red if you broke all

Of the the chests back here or the um the what are these called barrels back there you’ll notice that you’ll get all those and then you actually get quite a few so we have a ton of them so I got one there that’s the yellow actually that’s the orange so here’s the yellow

The orange and then here’s the red so we do have them all I just don’t know where to submit them to so click to submit submit all right so that’s how you have to do it okay submit and then you get this a new spatial cell right but I

I’m going to explain this real quick before we figure out what the other thing is it says in the book that the only way to get blue wheat is to grow it uh water logged right so here’s what it means by waterlog because I I tried

Doing it all different ways I thought it meant put it down there I thought it meant surrounding it but what it actually how you actually do this if you’re playing along and you can’t figure it out if you dig a hole um uh let’s see do we have our bucket we do

Have our bucket with us let’s goe and do this let’s go a and do this I’ll just show you how it’s done uh let’s go get some dirt over here let’s see where do we not need dirt let’s just dig two blocks of dirt over here and we’ll go

Put them over here so let’s grab this and that all right so let’s fill this in right here okay so this is how you have to do it at least this is the only way I could get it to work because and I’ll explain to you here in a sec if you do

This and let’s just say you do it like this all right so you plant you go like this and you go like this and you plant your sticks in here like this and you go like this and you crossbreed your plants right and you water log this that works

Right what happens is as soon as you plant something on here at least for me like this happened every single time as soon as they get to the mature uh part it breaks this so these break right and so then the water flows that way so what

You want to do is you just pretty much let’s break these you pretty much have to do it like this plant this one plant this one wait till they get fully grown when they’re fully grown then break this put your sticks in there and water log

It and what happens is you end up getting this blue wheat right here so that’s how I got the blue wheat I tried it over here like what I showed here and I tried Crossing it this way and it kept breaking the red wheat now it says that

You can get this blue Wheat by doing the red wheat uh I got it like the first try off of this Nether wart so we don’t even have this analyzed yet you can see it’s not like I put a seed down or anything it would show that it has a seat number

So that’s what I did so I broke that one and we have it over here so we got a bunch of them over here these are all once I got it I used uh when you get the when you get the quest reward if you go

Up here to Blue wheat you get this right here which is the 555s we also got one for I believe 15 yeah it’s this one here so I use the 15 one and if you grow it because it says that it needs a lot of

Humidity in order to grow if you do it like this it grows fine so these are all 15s except for these ones over here on the corner which I haven’t analyzed yet because these crossbreed onto that corner one but now if we just go through

Here I can just get a bunch of you know just get all the lapis that we need so that’s that’s a cool way of getting it that’s that’s the only way that I could figure out how to get it and you can see it already starts to grow it grows

Pretty quick the other cool thing is uh be when I was doing this the water log part when I was using this I actually got this plant instead so let’s put our lapis over here I got this plant which is ink uh ink Bergen ink Bergen I guess

That’s how you pronounce it ink Bine ink in whatever but it’s just ink so it’s just ink ink plants and and you can just do this and then you get all your ink plants out of that so it’s pretty cool so now we got a bunch of ink right we

Get ink saxs and we got lapis and then the other issue that I had I don’t know if I mentioned this in the last episode but I can’t get the light levels in here down you see how in here there is no light in here right now but if I go up

To this plant it shows that it’s got a light level of 12 which makes zero sense there’s nothing in here I thought maybe that the this is the other side of our wall over here actually it’s dirt I put dirt here so we could block it out um so

I thought see over there there’s I don’t I don’t get where the lights coming from I really don’t and nothing is growing in here because it’s too freaking bright so uh I I guess I have to rebuild this or whatever but that’s the only way to get

This glowstone plant so if you go into the glowstone plant right here uh it says that glow shrooms can provide uh um renewable sustainable glow stone they can be bred from Nether wart at a low chance and must have a glowstone block touching the top of their crop sticks in

Order to fully grow now I don’t know if that means crop sticks down so I got this set up so that this was the one that was actually getting planted like this so if I grow crop sticks right there I don’t know if it means glowstone

On these or glowstone in the middle but apparently it it didn’t work so uh I’m going to keep trying right so that’s what we did so we’re doing okay I mean I got the red wheat we’re doing good for red stone um this stuff’s growing ter W’s growing uh that’s the last thing

That we need see this is already growing at the wrong thing so we’ll do that again and I don’t think there’s anything else I’ve been crossbreeding trees because I want to get a better tree and I put the trees over here I believe uh these are the 27s yeah so I’ll probably

Get a really good uh tree crop right there um so yeah that’s that’s that’s that all right so that being said let’s run over here real quick let’s put um actually let’s just go out here let’s put this away so let’s put this in our system all right so we got some lapis

Some of that some of that some of that some of that and then uh let’s put uh the ink sacks in there that should be good and some dirt all right and uh over here we were still getting this I don’t have any more wood I need to get some

More wood out of there but we’ve been doing good on that uh I don’t have anything in here that we need we do have leather here I guess I could put that in our system like this and then what we need to do then is to go and get uh I

Showing that it’s producing energy right now but it must be producing a plenty of of it right so these are flux converters this converts RF to EU that’s freaking cool all right so how many do these are all this is all Farmland this is freaking cool what is this Farmland over

And a bucket there yep that gives us an infinite water source so we’ll go like this and that should water everything right and then I broke these off of you know down there where our signs are up in the air I broke these off of that so

Right so let’s put our dirt back uh let’s make sure so I don’t know if you guys knew this I didn’t know this but apparently this Soul Sand you’re supposed to plant it like this because this is the way that they want want you to um like this the sand or the soul

Sand’s actually got like nutritional values for for the stuff so this is actually how they want you to actually do this so I didn’t realize that at first but I do now so that’s all done so that’s in there that’s getting this this will fill up by itself eventually I

Believe and so what we need to do now is just get a crop right so if we just do this do this we’ll leave that like that I don’t think I have my hope with me I don’t yes we do we have ouro with us so

We can go like this and that should take care of that and then we can water log this I believe I believe we can so let’s go like this uh we didn’t need to put that there let’s put that nope we don’t need that there do we so we just need we

Just need uh one of the bricks here let’s put the brick here and we should be able to water log that hopefully it doesn’t blow up all right so this should work then it should turn it all yeah it does cool all all right so that works
