Are you ready to make millions of resources I don’t know if it actually makes them much don’t quote me on and for anyone that’s seen it before you’ll also notice that there’s a little bit that’s changed we have a windmill on each corner now which is very important

The only problem now is I’ve moved it up a little higher so it’s not as easy to get into but with some other designs noticeably that one we don’t need to anymore also in the description of this video you’ll find the links to both of the downloads that you’ll need using the

Schematics from the creators but also you need the Create Mod if you want to do anything with this so how this works is we have a platform attached to everything here let me lower it

Down for you that has a bunch of drills located on the bottom of it it mines out massive chunks of areas plus any drills that are moving as a part of a contraption automatically just

Mind for you so we don’t have to power this at all either which is I did used to have a bunch of really cool railings on this but as soon as this rotates all the railings disappear

So it’s not really safe anymore so just you know watch out for that you can see up above we’ve got a couple different colors up here there’s orange in the corner there there’s magenta there we’ve got blue here and then yellow is in the back corner on the left the

Colors of the wall indicate what buttons we want to press to move this the easiest way to remember which way things turn is this thing is going to rotate the same direction that the windmills are spinning so we’ve always got a visual thing we’re going to hit the

Orange button and we should see it move please fingers crossed and now the drills have made it back down to the bottom so we’ll bring them up once more you can see up above magenta

Is going to be the next color we want to move if you move this before the drills have returned back it’ll move without the drills and the drills get left behind and it’s a big pain to bring it back all together so now we’ll do magenta fingers crossed there it is oh

It’s beautiful and there it goes now what we would do to get this next part here is we would slap on the yellow button and it would rotate and spin it back around to the front part how we had it before was we had them on opposite corners and it would kind

Of like puzzle piece its way around but now it can move to basically just any square we want which is really awesome remember it spins the same direction that the windmills do we want to use the yellow one so we’re going to hit this button and it should swing itself

Forwards just like this and then it drops down and it starts moving through everything but let’s hop over into a creative world and I’ll show you guys exactly how it works the buttons that I set up off to the side are the exact same buttons that I have on here

If you want you can slap a seat down on top of this and you can write it around the pillars of this aren’t needed but I left them on here I just like being able to climb up and down

As needed to be able to get out of these things it helps me feel a little more immersed into the whole thing all the world can be changed you can do colors and colors if you want I

Just like them there because it helps me differentiate what buttons are going to be used for what I’ve also located the bunch of buttons on here so that we’ve got the signs yellow light blue magenta and orange and then the top right is going to be there for orange the bottom

Right is going to be there for magenta same thing with the top left being yellow and then the bottom left being light blue right back here doesn’t matter what side you can break the two little side parts or anything on the back to be able to sneak inside and you can

See the little buttons that we’ve got set up or at least the the buttons that go to the redstone links these are the exact same redstone lengths that I had on the buttons just out in my little world that I was pushing so that I didn’t have to be up in here if

I didn’t want to be the reason why we have all of these as buttons to redstone lengths is because while this contraption is rotating and moving it can’t send or receive redstone signals it can only do that when it gets to its finish position it can also be a little

Bit funny with how it saves the signals so that’s why it just acts as something that you can send something from or receive something but it doesn’t handle any of the redstone process itself Instead all of those buttons send their signals out over here if you’re

The kind of person that really loves redstone contraptions you’ve got to check out gantries instead of having to do redstone timer or have certain sequences going you can just set it all up with a gantry when a redstone contact passes over another one it sets off

Redstone signal and with the gantries you can choose the speed that they move across you can even do fancy things with the sequence gearshift where every time this receives a redstone signal it’ll move a gantry over a certain amount of feet and it’s oh it’s incredibly

Cool so let’s say we go to activate the magenta one if we hit the magenta button it’s going to send a signal here which is going to reverse the toggle that’s how toggle latches work is when they receive a redstone signal it flips the lever on it but so the signal will

Come in through this it will activate this lever which puts the signal through here and then it’ll go in it’ll output to here and then it’ll reverse the gearshift when a gearshift receives mechanical power it continues to spin but when it receives a redstone signal

It reverses the direction its spinning and how the gantry shafts work is when they’re spinning one direction the gantry moves one way along it and when they’re spinning the other way it moves back so this just allows us to reverse this back and forth this will

Send a redstone signal here where we’ve got our sticker I’ll show you that in a moment and then right here where we’ve got our windmill which I’ll show you that in a second here too so one of the challenges with getting all of this going and you can see here all

Of these are down when you first paste this in you need to come in here and you need to go and turn on every single one of these stickers if you don’t this whole contraption will rotate and move and leave all of your windmills behind and you’ll break everything you have to rebuild

It what the stickers are doing is they’re attaching this upper spot to the lower base when the sticker is not attached this is considered a separate thing the reason why that’s really important is we have the mechanical bearing facing down attached to this windmill so when

Our signals are sent up through here the first one goes up to this which boom unstick this so then the second signal goes to the sequence gearshift which tells the mechanical bearing to move 90 degrees so then this will rotate the entire contraption 90 degrees why don’t

I show you what happens when you don’t have one of these stuck so we’re going to unstick the magenta we’re going to leave the blue stuck so that’s how it should be in order to go turn the blue on and you’ll see what happens okay also turning on all of the windmills

Might be important so let’s rotate this there goes the blue so that’s going to unstick and then it should rotates there we are and you can see this moved oh crap we had the drills down okay yeah so also make sure your drills are out before you rotate this but you can

See how it left the magenta behind because the magenta wasn’t stuck so it’s really important that everything is stuck and your button for the rope pulley is just located right here so we got this brings it all back up if you ever have this issue where it does leave that

Behind it’s an easy fix where you can just come back right over to the light blue and you just swap the speed here to reversed and you go and activate it again so this will go back to the same thing again where this will unstick and then this will rotate and

It’ll slap it right back around and like I was mentioning before I set it up so that these are always spinning the same direction the windmills are spinning so if you’re ever unsure you don’t know which way it’s going to go you have a visual representation of

What way it’s going so if we were to spin the orange one we know that the orange is going to rotate this way so I’ll show you from above it’ll always go the same way the windmill is going boom same way with the windmill every time now you’ll see that the the whole

Platform went in lower down on us and it does that every time there’s no way to really go and fix that without adding in a manual on off switch but you’d have to go and redo parts

Of the stuff up here which it’s not a bad thing every time it does it just make sure you’re never rotating this overtop of your base the reason why that happens is every time this spins and moves to a different direction the direction that this is going it just reverses

So let’s unstick the blue one and we’re going to rotate if we rotate magenta orange should go into blue so you can see that that’s not stuck so it’s going to get left behind and when the orange goes into it it goes into blue and it completely destroys it an orange

Now completely takes over so you’ll see that we’ve now got all of the orange stuff located over here the nice thing about it is it does drop all the blocks you can just rebuild this over on the other side what you can always do is you can always just take a schematic

Of each one of these corners and then save those for yourselves if you ever have to replace one of them it’s an easier fix that’s basically how it works if you ever do have issues come

Of weeks to get this done enough to be able to show you guys because I wanted to get this whole spot as simple as possible and so thankfully this just looks complicated but all it really is is just an on off toggle thing that slides these back and forth because it glues moves

And glues again it just goes back and forth and it’s beautiful and so you get tons of resources I almost forgot about this there is one last thing that’s show you that’s very very important and it’s the reason why you got to make sure this is always above what

You’re going to be mining so let’s say you’re mining above a forest you’ve got all of these leaf blocks in the way along here because there’s a bunch of trees and like the trees come up higher than it the reason why I decide to go with rotating is because once this rotates

Into blocks it will break all the blocks that it rotates onto but if there’s ever stuff below it right along the drills you’ll see where things get a little bit complicated so we’re going to want to spin with the yellow one and then you’ll see where things get complicated

So because it’s rotating all the drills are going to want to try and break the blocks of these leaves and so it slows down it starts breaking some of them but it’ll snap back and leaves are fast so if you do it enough times it’ll eventually mind its way through

But if there’s cobblestone or stone or part of a mountain in the way which I’ll show you here we’ll just do we’ll just do one line along there like it can break a couple of the blocks but if you’ve got tons of blocks filling the area over here you’re going to

Be there for a long time hitting the button over and over and over again but what’s great is because of how this is set up if you ever need to move it higher all you’ve got to do

Is slap down a sticky piston and you can even move it with a hand-crank let’s say we need to move it that many blocks there you go look at that the whole thing moves up everything stays connected you can even move it back down as long as everything’s glued but now

This is up it’s above where those parts are so we’ll slap the yellow button again beautiful but now it’s time to clean up a mess of a machine and we’re turning it into this which is way nicer way cleaner all of the items that we need are placed out into their own

Individual barrel locations and now the mess is a little bit more optimized but completely hidden behind the whole system had tons of conveyor belts that were just zigzag go around all sorts of different directions but now we don’t need those because they come in nicely

Right over here Pretty much the whole thing that we had before is now condensed into this size here which I think there’s only two or three different things we haven’t put in yet but it’s so much more incredible we just have to repower it and look at the automated trades

Working their beautiful this now is loops in and around it’ll come back in position itself nicely and then it’s going to continue loading up from this oh the automated binding is so cool now the next step that I want to do is I want to go and add in a couple of

Cargo containers attached on this so that we can constantly be moving this around and then bring it back to empty it and then move back out to other locations because right now this has to wait until the trains come back to be able to fill it up and it’d be

Nice if we had a couple of cargo containers of buffer so that if something ever happened to this got clogged up over there we could just keep mining and wait for it to unclog itself and never have any issues now there’s only one thing that I would go back and change

About this entire setup from the very beginning and I wouldn’t have used the tunnels tunnels are great in the sense that they can sort items but if you watch where all of the items are coming out from you’re going to see there’s a bit of a delay when a bunch of items approach

The tunnels there’s a slight delay as they wait for the item to pass fully through before continuing on so backs everything up behind so we do lose a little bit of time for every item as it’s trying to move through all of this once they get through the first tunnel

It’s not an issue but in the grand scheme of things it does slow down the process of everything a fair bit what I would have done instead is something very similar to what I have read over here but we would have just put a barrel and then had the funnels pull

Stuff off of the conveyor belt into the barrels to do this we would have needed a little bit more space because we’d have to have the funnel go into a barrel and then another funnel pull

Out of the barrel but at least this way it would have allowed all the items to move along the conveyor belts at perfect speed we could have spent we even could have sped the conveyor belts up a lot more because if we moved these conveyors a little bit quicker the only thing
