Played on this server for like 2 years now, was a lot of fun and a great community. So sad to see the administrators fuck it up all over and run it into the ground.
All they’ve done recently is add in new sub-servers, features, and events that no one asked for while removing what people joined for originally, and removing what people play for, and PAYED for. All this on top of the fact that they have implemented broken features, that have yet to be fixed after half a year: warden, mob stacking, etc.
Moreover, many people purchased Obsidian from the server website for over $150 USD, with one of the perks being a reserved server spot. They decided to remove this feature that people paid for without any heads up, warning or compensation. What will they change their mind about next? Is it so hard to communicate with the players of the server about what’s going on?
I urge new players to just leave the server. The mods have created a huge imbalance by removing the seasonal events, leaving only the old players with OP event gear, like spooky, emp, etc.
Of course everything goes through phases of change and improvement, but the fact that the mods just keep changing shit, without ever communicating, without making community posts about changes they intend to implement, that is just idiotic. We know absolutely nothing until the changes have already been implemented and by then it’s clearly too late. It’s good that the mods don’t personally play on the server (supposedly), but who thought that a complete lack of communication was a good idea?
I loved the unbanning, giving all the OGs who used to play anther chance, but look at what happened with that. They all just left again cause the server was completely different, the mods killed it.
Again, love the community here, love Era, but the mods are fucking morons and fucked the game up for me. I hope not everyone was an idiot and at least one person locked The Map of Era, and the poke maps.
