To Asgaard – Delving Into Occultism: ATM Spellbound Minecraft 1.16.5 LP EP #6

Hello again welcome back to asgard and welcome back to atm spellbound uh so since the last episode it hasn’t been a tough time because i’m starting to get ready for thanksgiving and i’m going to be doing a lot of cooking over the next few days so probably have a couple bulk record kind

Of things here uh without so much building uh in between episodes just for a couple episodes that way i kind of have the free time to cook because we’re gonna be doing we’re gonna be very very busy for the next few days uh and i hope everybody has a very good

Thanksgiving or had i don’t know it depends on when this video comes out i hope anybody’s celebrating thanksgiving has a good one but over here i did go ahead and start plotting this out this is actually where kind of the grand banquet hall is going

To be and then we’re going to have a kitchen that attaches on to that also added what’s going to be a door to the library here did a little bit of work down below nothing too major and also i dug this out because we’re going to be using this today

Because i was doing some thinking originally i intended for some of the darker magics like blood magic occultism and uh evil craft and stuff like that to be down in the cavern section but i think i like the idea of just keeping the more natural magics down there and then

Having the darker magics actually kind of sit away still up within our big what’s going to be our big cathedral or castle i don’t know it depends on how big it gets i guess and then kind of keeping the cavern section the undergarden here uh as

More just plants and things like that so uh shielding i’ll kill you for the enchanted book i actually got a protection 7 book i think it was um between episodes there we go what did he give up potato recovery for okay um oh and apotheosis sugar cane just does

Whatever in the world it wants in this pack i must put string on top that’s fine but anyways anyways i’m getting sidetracked but today we are going to start getting into some occultism which this mod kind of takes a darker direction kind of a combination

Sort of as far as concepts of kind of a blending of i think kind of like bewitchment and blood magic sort of uh in some ways uh it’s a lot of related to like demon summoning and kind of controlling demons and there’s actually some really opaque

Stuff in this mod occultism is a mod i think could say a little bit of balancing because it’s a little bit opaque it’s kind of that power creep aspect of modded that’s kind of scary but um but it is a pretty good mod and the the

Concepts and mechanics are a lot of fun uh so anyways we got a thing here talking about the mod uh and then we have a quest here uh and we’re actually gonna go ahead um there’s not really a ton of need for us right now to farm up

A lot of this so i’m actually just going to just plant a few of our demon dream seeds and you get these of course just like any other seed and you can see they actually grow really quick here uh might as well i mean these might get trampled but might as well

Just go ahead and place this out a bug or something may come around at some point and trample some of these and just to make sure we’ve got everything that we need let’s go ahead and just bone mill this a couple times now next up we have a quest for getting

The book which is just going to be a book and some of the demon dream seeds now i think this book is in the stock akashic tone but now we have uh the proper book and of course it does like most books nowadays at least most magical books it does use patchouli so

Always always nice because patchouli is just so clean looking and then we need to get a purifying flame so let’s just go ahead pop back up i did update the pack between episodes though because there was an update well there’s a couple updates that mainly related to bug fixing and it kind of

Worked out because there was actually one yeah i didn’t have space you could say i’ve got three stacks of stuffed pumpkin at the moment but it did a little bit of uh kind of bug fixes and actually one of them was uh related to occult occultism uh so it actually kind

Of worked out so now our purifying flame will probably get moved we’ll actually probably end up having a few of these but uh the way this works is just put down a log of any kind uh then is it it’s been a little while is it to

Set the log on fire and then throw in the let’s try that uh no maybe that’s not it maybe it’s not there we go okay and that’s how we get our purifying flame and then what we’re going to do is just toss in stuff right and you could say the andesite

Turned into other stone we’re going to go ahead and just throw in a bunch of that and you’ll also notice that the quest here if it asks for other stone and it asks for an oak sapling it’s not actually the oak sapling there’s like hidden stuff within

Occultism we’re going to get more into that soon and this is for kind of changing the oak sapling over and you can see we got the unstable otherworld sapling and then we have a quest here for the sacrificial bowl uh sacrificial bowls this is kind of the one of the main ritual mechanics

Within occultism so we’re gonna go ahead actually probably didn’t make enough yeah i didn’t make another stone and the site is strangely hard to come by i actually went mining a little bit between episodes trying to find more and i never could i never could get my hands on anymore

If it has to do with maybe other stones you know added within the mod or what but we’re going to make 11 of these uh the quest only asks for 10 but one of these we’re going to turn into a golden sacrificial bowl and you’ll want 10 of these because some of

The rituals will require it like if you look here there’s 52 different rituals here and if we tab through you can see like for example he hogan’s enthrallment requires 10 different items so 10 sacrificial bowls for that now out of curiosity for the other stone can we use we can use bulk blasting

Perfect let’s go ahead and take this i will probably have to go mining for andesite uh at some point but if so that’s fine i kind of anticipated that that’s why i went out looking for some but i never never found any so but we’re gonna go ahead and work on

Making our chalk so there is 10 burnt other stone let’s go ahead and get ourselves a butcher knife i should probably pull up occultism here and this will make it just a little bit easier but there is our butcher knife and we’re going to use this to basically slaughter animals

And we want to make for our rituals we’re going to want to make white candles so this is any kind of tallow and some stream and i think i’ve got yeah i’ve got uh seven tallow here but we’re going to need eight for the candles that’s fine uh we’ll pop

Out and kill an animal i need that uh but uh here pretty soon we’re gonna start wanting cows and pigs and things uh it would actually it’s actually even easier if you have that for occultism uh to be honest because we’re gonna be dealing a lot of like animal and

Creature sacrifices but uh that’s okay i think we can we can make do without having it just yet so but anyways there is some tallow let’s go ahead and get a white candle and then we’re gonna turn the rest of these into white candles so that’s going to complete that quest for us

While i’m out here i’m going to go ahead and just take his life too and if i recall you can use like looting on this to get a little bit better output but we’re going to use that again but for right now we’re just going to tuck that away

I’ll tell you what uh in the world there’s things called uh what other world groves and we’ve actually found a few of them i’ve taken kind of a mental note of the location of quite a few of them but if we pop into the oval world

I think we’re just going to pop over to an uh a grove to get our first bits of other world stone or otherworld wood it does get a bit easier later on but i think this will be our best route for it but if we pop right down here

That little area right over there that is another world grove and that’s what we’re going to use our demon dream fruit for so we won’t use this stuff too much because we got an easier way to uh to see all this stuff soon but if we consume this

You can say these are other world leaves and we have otherworld wood as well and so let’s go ahead we’ll just fine mine that up go ahead yeah i got other world saplings perfect uh now you want to keep this applied so if it does run off go ahead and eat

Another one because otherwise you’re not going to be able to Get the wood and stuff because it only is harvestable when you’re under the effects of the the demon dream fruit so and these don’t last very long so just kind of be cautious with your harvesting a little bit so you don’t like over harvest things there we go this grove is actually massive

As you can see so i probably don’t need any more of that right now but one thing we are going to do is pop this and boom there is a bunch of other stone for us so probably easier than uh you can also just grab the andesite because there’s literally

It’s andesite uh when it’s not changed over but um that’s weird how that stacks like that very very strange but you could also just harvest the andesite as far as the stone goes and just take it back and throw it in the fire and that’s honestly just as easy

Maybe even easier because you don’t have to consume the the fruit but you will want to consume the fruit for the wood um i’ll leave the rest of that for now so so we’ll just toss that in boom and there is our other world ash but let’s go ahead

And make our impure white chalk so there’s that honestly let’s go ahead and just make all three of them for now because they will come in handy to have those okay now to turn this into the white chalk all we need to do is just throw it into

The fire but you may have noticed there’s additional chalks just like bewitchment and there we go there’s our white chalk so we got that because we’re going to need that to draw out our rituals and now there is the chalk brush um yeah we might as well go ahead and get

It it’s cheap and we’ll get that quest out of the way and it’s useful to have it on you there we go chalk brush and then they want us to get a foliot binding book and you just craft this with your uh you know your patchouli book but you

Have to get one of these and i think we’ve got everything around here for that we’ve got yes i’m gonna need two of these because i’m gonna need just a little bit of black dye uh and then we’re going to need a book i have to go loot some more of those

Here in a moment and a feather i’ve got the white dye but i actually don’t think i have any feathers in fact okay well let’s go ahead and toss in our black dye and that way we can get the purified ink so there’s that

And then we need to set out to go get ourselves some feathers but if you enjoyed like bewitchment or witchery this mods pretty much right up your alley it’s really a lot of the same concepts and a lot of the same uh kind of material just with less of it

Really uh there is a lot of rituals but it doesn’t kind of delve into the werewolf side of things the vampire side of things the spirits but you’ll feel right at home if you enjoyed the witching mods i guess i guess this what i’m going to collectively call them because

There’s been there’s been a few of them because now we have the return of witchery which is witchery rewitched which doesn’t really have a whole lot um but since bewitchment went fabric only for reasons i guess witchery is getting another remake now so that is which re rewitched

There’s so many of them right and occultism like i said occultism kind of kind of i think drew a lot of inspiration um for the mod from witchery that’s always the feeling that i got it just takes the demon summoning to a whole deeper level uh in in a great way

A little bit op way but a great way all the same so we’re going to take that we’re going to combine it with that and we’re going to get our book of binding foliate so let’s take that and it says right here we can use that to summon the foliate

Lucrosaid and it looks like the first ritual they’re going to have us perform is the avr circle which is going to be used for kind of a slow or crusher there are better ones later on and this is a very temporary one so if we open up our book and we go to

Rituals and we come to the summoning uh we go to or crusher you can kind of tap through here and you can see avr circle this is what we want to do and we can visualize this in the world so what we’re going to do is just click

That and then we can set up the structure and this you know of course we’re going to be moving this around a bit but we’re going to put it in right there it’s fine okay now we’re going to put our golden bowl in the middle and then we’re going to

Take our chalk and we are going to just draw this out and the round will be kind of random so don’t worry about that but we’re just going to kind of draw out our circle here and then we’re going to take and we’re going to set up our candles

And we will be of course setting up a more permanent place for this soon uh but not just yet not just yet i tend to like to get into the mod and then build up the space as we go a little bit or uh as we finish up as we get things

Laid out and stuff uh then we’re gonna take our sacrificial bowls we’re going to toss those down and then these other ones we can kind of just set up wherever i think we’re going to go there there they are there and i don’t know they are and they are just

Has to be within eight blocks uh so no biggie uh and then we’re going to take our copper ore silver ore gold ore and iron ore and just drop those into there and there’s a couple different ways of course that you can look at all this

Stuff like in here in the ritual section like this is the avr circle it tells you about it um you can also look uh from here but it is important to use your book as well so you can visualize where all the ritual uh the markings and stuff go

Uh but just bear in mind that anything that uses avr circle because it’s used in multiple different uh summonings so there’s avr circle again there’s avr circle avr circle these are all going to be laid out uh the chalk and stuff is all going to be laid out the same

It’s just going you’re going to change the different ingredients that are that are used you know uh so that’s all done and then all we have to do is just click this now make sure that you have a bit of ore on you and a little bit of obsidian because

They’re going to want a little bit of obsidian here and that’s just for making a chalk i think i think that’s actually the only use for right is the impure chalk and apparently the divining rod but you can use any kind of obsidian yeah yeah that’s it there’s just the impure purple chalk

Uh so then what we’re going to do is just right click that and it says started summoning foliage or crusher and you can see there’s some particle effects that means it’s all working um if i recall there’s like a big like pop-up text message uh if it’s not set up correctly but

We’ll give it just a little bit you can say that the ores are steadily being consumed over there and we’re going to go ahead and get our stuff at the ready here Really really slow but this is kind of your introductory ritual uh which allows you to get your dust that you’re going to need for other stuff and this is also what allows you to or double now obsidian is only a one to one but like the iron and the gold and stuff

We’ll get two dust per ore so we can get ore doubling though i don’t know at this stage really that it’s worth it personally um at least not in this pack per say but maybe in other packs but there we go there is lucas red so

We’re going to take and we’re going to throw down our obsidian to him we go go ahead and take that and that as you can see he is painstakingly slow at doing this there we go he just tossed us our very first piece of obsidian dust

Now you can stack items in him but uh only same type items so just kind of bear that in mind but when you think he’s kind of getting close you can go ahead and toss your next ore down and that way he picks it up immediately i’m

Only going to do one of h for now i’m not that interested in the ore doubling effect uh you know personally because i’ve got tons of ore that you know that’s not a big deal but what i am interested in is basically just getting quest through uh so we can

Kind of keep up with our progress i might actually do two of the gold um because we do use that one a little bit more there’s our iron and i think the rest of these are just used for the gin summon which is i’m gonna guess is probably

What they’re gonna have us doing next for the quest uh but the gold you also use it for the gen summon but then you’re gonna use it for the impure golden chalk now realistically one craft getting two of these is enough but i do like to have a

Little bit extra uh if we can so there we go and we got a quest completed uh so next up is the golden chalk the spirit of tuned gems which is just putting diamonds in the fire and then we need this spirit attuned crystals and

He’s about to finish up the gold uh i went ahead and ran all of it because why not i’m probably not gonna do any more awards he’s so painstaking slow he’s all right i guess if you have a vacuum chest but like i said he does

Kind of just despawn after a little bit all right so we got plenty of gold dust iron dust i’m gonna keep one of each of these on me or two of the gold actually and then one of the rest of these and let’s go ahead we need glowstone

And we’re going to go ahead and use the other two impure chalks that i’ve made and we’re going to get ourselves our impure golden and we’re going to go ahead and get our uh oh wait what is it there’s something else right oh crushed in stone we’ll have to wait on that so

Uh we will have to wait on that for sure now the next thing they want us to do is get the golden chalk so we’re going to throw that into the fire and we need to get the spirit attuned gems they want 12 of these that’s fine

That’s why we’ve waited to start a that’s one reason we’ve waited to start occultism until we have plenty of this stuff but uh like ores and things like that but we’re gonna toss that in and we’re gonna toss that in there we go there is our spirit of tuned

Gems and then they want two of the spirit attuned crystals for right now now they want us to get the other world goggles and this is what’s going to allow us to just be able to see the other world without having to eat demon fruit all the time not to mention it is

A lot more clear to see because demon throat like it’s this terrible terrible nightmarish vision that you have and it’s actually kind of tough to see as you as you saw so azezius xevious uh spectral which i want to say is binding yes otherworld goggles uh

So we’re going to need this right here of a zevious spectral compulsion uh so let’s go ahead and just visualize that oops clicked and we’re going to set it in right here and you’re going to notice that a few of these are golden this is where our chalk

Brush is going to come into play so we’re just going to scrub that off scrub that off scrub that off and scrub that off and then we’re just going to put in some gold rose right in there and then we’re gonna have to break this candle and this candle

And there we go now we have a complete ritual and so if we take a look here at the just two silver ingots i will need to get that smelted up though uh but okay so our lenses let’s go ahead and get that and then for the layout uh we’re just

Gonna need glass lenses the two silver and gold here so let’s go ahead and do that and then we’ve got our gold and then the item in the middle is another foliate binding book so and then we’re going to get our book of binding fully out and our bound version

So we’re going to be summoning luke crusade and i think i think we’re all good to go so we’re gonna put that in there now we are binding a foliate into the lenses and then once we get this uh it’s just leather and the frame we’re gonna need a little bit

More silver looks like and then we can get the lens frames and this is probably done nope still going see these are super slow at this point there we go there’s our lens frame and there we go there’s our lenses perfect timing though okay there you are

Go ahead and take that and we don’t have anything in our head slot yes we do ah i don’t have like there needs to be like head slot and goggle slot that’s what it needs to be we’re gonna go ahead and put that on i think actually i could just uh

Do it that way yeah let’s do it that way because it’s less that i have to uh switch out and plus it’s not something you’re probably gonna wanna run all the time because it makes us have the pink vision but you’ll notice that it’s not nearly as terrible as when we

Eat the demon’s dream because that stuff is it’s like sickening so we can actually see things uh through uh with this vision so then they want us to get in stone uh in stone skeleton skulls which both are pretty nice and the hadrons lure this gives us a 100

Chance of skeletons by basically summoning a skeleton that we kill takes four bones a book of foley out and then you have to slide a chicken we’re not actually going to do that so we’re going to just take a skull and complete that quest just because it’s kind of

Involved because i don’t have chickens here especially it’s a little bit more involved for me than just going out and killing the skeleton we will do some animal sacrifice but the less animal sacrifice i have to do right now the better honestly and it’s going to help us out quite a bit

Uh now there is the divination rod which is really really useful and it’s going to be extremely useful uh here in a moment uh or here shortly uh we’re going to go ahead and make that for sure and so there’s our divination rod let’s go ahead and take that

And then next up they want us to get in stone for the purple chalk uh and this is kind of one of the reasons that i wanted to get into occultism is you can get very obscure materials very very easily such as in stone and wither skeleton skulls and things like that without

Having to go through the normal grind method and i also want this right here which we’re going to be working towards and i also want to get storage up and going or doubling will be useful we’re going to actually get a proper ore doubling system with occultism before too long

It’s not something i feel like we have to have but it is something that will be useful for us uh to have so um but let’s go ahead it is the hydranzler possession rituals yeah possessed undermine this is what we want uh so this is hadrian’s lure we’re gonna click

Here we’re going to visualize and we’re going to set it up i think it double clicked there we go we’re going to set it up right there you can see this one is a little bit bigger so i’m going to have to expand the room out slightly that’s fine

Um i will have to do just a little bit of chalk erasing there There there and then let’s go ahead this is gonna have to come up at this point luckily we’re skating right around the edge of the fire all right and we are going to need more candles at this point we go completed okay so now we just need the

Stuff for the actual ritual which is another foliate book a couple stone couple dirt and we’re gonna have to use an egg uh we’re also going to place our bowls back out so we’ll do that i think here we’re just going to go like that and realistically since this

Ritual doesn’t require i probably will wait because this only requires four so i’m not going to bother putting the rest out because they’ll probably end up getting moved before them and we’ll go ahead and just place that out position doesn’t matter it’s a thumb craft habit to put things

Opposite corners but it doesn’t actually matter to you so these uh theoretically like these items around here are intended to be like stabilizers but i don’t there’s no real stabilization mechanic it’s just they’re kind of required you know and then i just need to get a folio book

You’ll be tired of making foliage books you can bake them in bulk because realistically you do use quite a few of these but i’m trying to get by with the minimum possible uh folio books which were almost out of the kind of the foliage stage because you have

Kind of different stages of different demons that you’re going to be summoning foliage is just garbo so i kind of want to move on past those as quickly as possible but of course we do require them for some of this really basic starter stuff so so our foliage book

There we go and find it go and of course if you’ve been to the end i think you could bypass this quest as well but i haven’t been so and i’m not ready to go just yet though realistically i don’t think it would be that bad

So we’re going to go ahead and start this you’re going to see some gray particles kind of dropping there and so what we’re going to do take the egg chuck it and then you can see the purple particles kind of kick on at that point and now we’re going to wait for the

Ritual to run and then basically an endomite is going to spawn and we need to kill that endermite and we might potentially kill uh lucra said in the process because of our cleave effect but that’s fine i’m not that worried about him because he’s not the ore doubler that i

Would like to uh that i would like to actually take seriously because he’s just super slow there we go and you can see he does have our foliage name i think if i recall it it’s like he’s possessed by our foliage but there we go there is our end stone

And that’s what i was talking about using for getting our eldritch spirits i was originally planning on starting occultism if i couldn’t find enterman to get the elder spirits for malam because that’s an easy way once you get to this point easy way to get the

Eldritch spirits and you can see that we did get four in stone now i think for the dust we need the crushed version perfect we still got our guy so actually kind of works out that he’s stuck around this long let me go ahead and switch that that vision drives me insane

Um but realistically we will get a trader up and going uh you know they talk about it in here and we’re going to do that soon just so that we can get stable ingot so we can start getting the other world wood from that but there are some things that we’ll

Need the vision for as well but we will get some staple some stable saplings before long that way we can actually grow them so and then let’s go ahead and throw our impure chalk in and we’re going to get our purple chalk all right so now at this point we’re

Kind of entering the back end of things this is when stuff actually gets interesting that is all kind of just preemptive like let’s get through this and now we’re going to enter the really useful things to us like the soul gems the wither skeleton skulls the storage system uh the ore miner

Kind of but i don’t plan on probably using the ore mining stuff here too soon so okay and we’re in a pretty good spot right now so we can actually start into kind of the meat of everything uh in the next episode so i may i may dig this out like i said

I don’t have a lot of time i’m trying to get a few recordings for you guys for the back end of the week uh because i know i’m going to be busy pretty much all of wednesday thursday friday and then probably normal weekend stuff saturday and sunday plus i know i’ve got

A little bit of hunting to do left before the end of the season so i’ll have that as well so i’m gonna have a really busy like rest of the week so i’m trying to make sure that i’ve got a few videos of spellbound done and then try to get

Some other stuff edited up kind of a backlog of things so but i know it’s about wrapping up point for this episode so the next episode we can get into kind of the bulk of this stuff since all the preemptive kind of me stuff is done kind of the mod setup and

Everything that stuff’s out of the way and then we can turn our attention towards this uh we probably won’t do all of this and i don’t actually even want all of this just yet but there is certain things that i do want and the out of curiosity the mayor times stuff

For the very fast crusher is doable once we get the ism and this is going to require the red the red chalk so once we have the last chalk then we can really go crazy with some stuff so that’s going to be exciting but okay so anyways i know it’s about

Wrapping up point for this episode i will say that next episode we are going to kill the wither because i want to get our upgraded turfing i don’t know that we’ll finish occultism next or this part of occultism next episode maybe we don’t have that much left as

Far in terms of like what i actually want from the mod right this second because like i said i don’t really think i care to get vein miners and stuff like that going uh or not flying miners void miners because it kind of ruins a lot of the fun to go

Straight for that but i would like to get storage up and going more than anything and then we can use a little bit of the item transport uh stuff and kind of automation stuff for the or doubling uh maybe come next episode so we might we might end up

Doing like two more episodes of occultism like one more as far as progression goes and then at least do one in terms of some setup stuff that i’d like to do for some automation type things but we’ll get into that to come next episode so anyways i hope you guys enjoyed the
