How’s it going everyone poptart here welcome back to the aot team channel in today’s expansion tutorial I’m going to be showing you how to use our previous Airbus A320 tutorial to build the Airbus a321 200 in 1.5 to1 scale the a321 is a high-capacity narrow body airliner Derived from the Airbus A320 with a stretched fuselage adding an additional 7 m bringing the total capacity from 186 230 passengers now as I mentioned this is an expansion tutorial meaning that we’ll be referencing our A320 tutorial as a base tutorial for this build you Can find this in a card up on screen now or as a link in the video description now be careful we have two A320 tutorials on the channel one of which is many years old and very outdated and that one is not the tutorial we’re referencing here so make sure you only Use the provided links to find this tutorial when the time comes I’ll direct you to certain sections from it for this aircraft shared common features so just make sure you have it open in the background ready to go as for our configurations for this aircraft like the A320 we have both engine options Available for the a321 the IE 2500 and the CFM 565b now the A320 tutorial includes the older cfm56 5A but this never flew on an a321 and is thus not applicable for this tutorial we also have both wing tip options the classic wing tip es and the newer Shls so that’s it for our configuration options here as we progress through the tutorial we’ll break off to reference separate sections from the base tutorial where those different options will be built so you’ll probably want to figure out ahead of time what you’d like to use for your aircraft if you’re building a Replica of a real aircraft you can select those based on what options the operator used or if you’re just building for fun you can select which you like most based on the preview tups shown so as I mentioned this is in 1.5 to1 scale meaning that every 1 meter in real life Is equivalent to 1.5 blocks exactly if you are building an airport project or something in the scale this will be perfectly to scale with all of our other 1.5 to1 aircraft on the channel now before we get started as always this build does make use of our very own Custom aot team texture pack a download link to the latest version of this pack to be found in the description below if you don’t have it already now if you are stuck using the default pack if you’re following Along on Console or something I will always do My best to show you how to go about building this in default but please do keep in mind that I highly recommend using the team pack instead if you can as it’ll look much better anyways with that all out of the way let’s get going on this Tutorial all right so first things first this aircraft is 67 blocks long 51 blocks across with the wing tip fences or 53 blocks across with the sharklets and 18 blocks tall from the base of the landed gear to the tip of the vertical stabilizer so just keep That all in mind as you’re getting started now as for materials here in the aot team pack we’re using using the wool material coupled with the purple stairs and slabs for the smooth and shiny white coloration for the aircraft if you’re building in default you’ll probably want to use quartz or Smooth quartz as an alternative so just use that instead whenever I’m building for the purposes of this tutorial I’ll be referring to these as the wool stairs and slabs but again that’s the purple stairs and slabs here in the arot team pack so with that let’s get started on the Fuselage all right so despite the fact that this is an expansion tutorial from the B 320 here we’re going to be building the fuselage separately on camera from scratch since it is vastly different from the a320s so for this for layers 1 and two here if you are Building this aircraft landed on the ground as I am here you’ll be wanting to start four blocks off the ground with a three block gap between just like this now if you’re building this aircraft in flight then you can obviously start wherever you’d like but please do keep In mind that three block Gap otherwise so once we have that we’ll be first starting here with two wool top slabs back to back just like this then we have an upside down wall stair facing forwards going back from that right there out to either side of this another Wall top slab there with one more going forwards to make that a row of two next going back from the center right there we’re going to grab a quartz slab and we have two quartz uh half slabs on the bottom half right there going back this will be for the nose Gear doors now for accent details such as this we use quartz to stand out from the wall but if you’re already building the rest of the aircraft out of quartz you’ll probably want to use something like polish diorite to pop these out from the rest of the Aircraft but either way once you have that we’ll next be placing a uh well upside a forward block there an upside down wool stair facing forwards on either side just like this followed by four blocks of wool going back 1 2 3 and four and 1 2 3 and four like So next for a small detail here on the side we’ll be wanting to place a stone button on the side of this upside down stair right here now for this as you may know in vanilla Minecraft that’s not exactly possible to place a uh button on the sides of transparent blocks like Stairs so for this we’re going to be using a mod called world edit that’s available for both Minecraft Forge in single player and spigot in multiplayer if you have access to this what you can do is grab a uh Stone button and place a temporary block out To the side of this upside down stair here with a stone button on its left face just like this then grab a stick or any old item type the command slre Z to switch this over to the replace tool select that button there by left clicking on it switch to a different Item to clear it out then switch back to the stick and right click on it with that replace tool to paste that button over like so now if you don’t have access to world edit another trick you can use is the debug stick in vanilla Minecraft to obtain this it’s slgp debug Stick but unfortunately this is not a utility we have access to on the server so I can’t demonstrate its usage for you here but in essence what you’d be doing is instead placing a temporary block out to the side adjacent to where you’re placing it in and place a button on its Face right there then with the uh debug stick continue left clicking on it until you have the facing property selected then right click around to rotate it into place on that uh upside down stair there and then clear out the temporary block so you have something looking just Like that now if you don’t have access to either of these utilities unless I can provide a work around for any of them you can just leave these tricky little details out if you aren’t able to include them it won’t impact the build too much and you’ll still have an a321 Left by the end of it but I highly recommend adding these little details if you can as it’ll add that much extra life to the aircraft so either way once we have that that button there is for a pedo tube on the side of the nose by the way we’ll be Doing the same thing on the right side here so from that same upside down stair there Stone button out to the right side select that and paste over like so next up here from the bottom here we’re going to be dropping a birch trap door going back from that uh quartz slab Right there a block down from it on the top half just like this in The A Team pack here as you can see this is a white wool texture just use an iron trap door in default and going back from this here we’re going to want a set Of nine trap doors so that’s one there already that’s going to be 2 3 4 5 6 7even 8 and nine like so next we’ll drop up a uh layer right here and we want a trap door on the bottom half of the next block up just Like this and underneath this here we’re going to grab a lever and we’re going to place this lever flp facing backwards just like this for an antenna on the underbelly of the aircraft here and then place an additional seven trap doors going back on the bottom Block right here so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 six and seven next out to other side of this here we’re going to Place 16 trap doors going forwards so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 should fall One block short right there and same on the right side 1 2 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 like so next up here we’re going to grab a Target block and place one of these going back from both of the wool full Blocks right there on the uh right and left just like this this will be for the red markings around a static port on the side of the fuselage right here next only on the left side we’re going to place a wool stair facing backwards behind this right there we’re Going to follow this with 11 wool stairs facing towards the center of the aircraft so that’s one 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 and 11 like so now on the right side we’re instead going to start with the quartz stairs we have a single quartz Stair facing backwards just like this then curve this out with one and two more facing towards the left there so you have a total of three quartz blocks exposed from the side like so and this will be starting out the forward cargo door on the right side of the Fus LGE right Here so once we have that it’s just going to even out with nine wall stairs facing towards the center so 1 2 3 4 5 six seven eight and nine like so next out to either side here we’re going to place a set of 16 uh Birch trap Doors on the top half out from these stairs here so from that uh back block right there the re most one that’s one right there 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 like so and same thing on The right side 1 2 3 4 5 six 7even 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 like so so now that we have that going back from this now we’re going to place 10 full blocks going back from these trap Doors that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10 and on the right as well 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10 next Behind These trap doors we’re going to place a set of three wool slabs one two and three across the Center just like that then a row of five across the center one two three four and five next just one B from the center right there with a birch trap door on the top half back from or out to the side of that right there on both sides And then a wool top slab on the outer edges right there this will be for the pack inlets on the underbelly of the aircraft right here then we have a set of five across the center again 1 2 3 four and five then we’re going to grab the Polished Granite we’re going to place a polished Granite full block right there at the center like so this will be for the red Beacon Light here just use a red concrete full Block in default instead but then we have two wool top slabs out to either side right there to flush that Off then three rows of five across you have a 3X five box so that’s one two and three right there next we’re going to grab the quartz slabs and we have five quartz top slabs across the center here 1 2 3 four and five then a single quartz top slab In the center followed by two more wall top slabs out to either side there then another row of five right there these will be for the deer doors on the underbelly right here then we have a row of five W top slabs 1 2 3 four and five then just a Row of three across the center one two and three and one final row of three one two and three like so next going back to the top layer right here we have a single quartz uh half slab on the bottom half going back from both of these wo for blocks there Then four blocks of wo back from this here one two three and four and one two three and four then we’re going to grab the stone buttons and on the third block back from these uh sets of four wool right here so that’s one two and on the third block Here a stone button out to either side like this it’s going to be symmetrical on the right side here too so that’s one two and three stone button right there on the third block next for some detailing in the wheel well right here we’re going to First grab the uh stone Brick walls and Crimson fences uh and where we have this quartz half SL right here the block forwards from it that wall right there we’re going to place a crimson fence going in towards the center right there stone brick wall in the center block and the Crimson fence right There same thing going in from uh this wool block right here so Crimson fence there stone brick wall and Crimson fence there now as you can see the Crimson fence is a stone texture here in The A Team pack just use a birch fence in default probably for a kind of whitish Texture to blend but this is what we’re using here to close this off now on the uh Ford block right here we’re going to place a row of three wool full blocks across the center right there flush with that but on the rear here we’re going to Have to place a wool stair facing backwards right there in the center and then two Corner uh stairs out to the sides right here so Corner stair facing towards the center right there and right there like so this will be starting off uh some of the curvature of the uh aft Cargo bay right here so that’s why we’re using that instead of full blocks then in the uh deer Bay right here we’re going to grab the iron trap door and place three iron trap doors across the Center like so finally if you have access to it we can use World it to Clean these fences up a little bit more for some added detail I’m just going to first recycle that uh stone brick wall there that should have already had that forward connection there for you but we have block updates disabled on the server so it didn’t quite update but What we’re going to do for this here for these Crimson fences is place down a row of two back to back just anywhere like this then one more out to either side of the rear one like this so you have these two side connections and the forward connection right there then with the Place tool we’ll select that Center fence there and then paste it over uh the outer fences just like that so that’ll add a little bit more detail here to the center and flush off that forward side a little bit more nicely again not required but it is nice to Include if you can so we just do the same thing on the rear edge there clear out that forward fence and replace it with a uh one going back from it right there then we’ll select that one in the center there and paste it over both of Those like so now as you’ll notice here we have a little half slab Gap showing through the sides right there and that is as it’s supposed to be so the center of the gear well is actually visible through the uh underside of the wing when the landing gear is extended so That’s what that is representing there so now that we have that we’re going to next grab the wool stairs we’re going to place an upside down wool stair facing backwards for both of these wo gos right there then a wo top slide back from that right there actually we can clear out These fences there I forgot to uh do that there whoops but once we have that we’ll let drop in towards the center right here with a wool stair facing in towards the center so only on the left side here we have 12 wool stairs going back facing towards the center again so That’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and 12 like so on the right side here starting from the same position we’re going to have five wool stairs going back so that’s 1 2 3 four and five next with the quart stairs that’s going to be three Quartz stairs going back 1 2 and three for the after cargo door right there then we have three wool stairs going back back one two and three oops three there we go and then a single quartz stair right there and that’ll start off the smaller bolt cargo door right behind The larger a cargo door right there so next up here we’re going to grab the Birch trap doors again and from the center top slab right here on the lower layer we’re going to have four Birch trap doors going back so that’s one two three and four on the top half Of the block again that is then step up a block right there and in the top layer we have a singal trap door on the bottom half right there underneath this we’re going to place another lever flp facing backwards for another radio antenna finin on the underside there then we Have five uh Birch strip doors going back so that’s one two three four and five five there we go next out to the sides here it’s going to be nine Birch trap doors going back 1 2 3 4 5 6 Seven 8 and nine should fall one short again Right there 1 2 3 4 5 six seven eight and nine like so then uh stepping up a block right there we have two Birch trap doors in the center right there to close it up from the underside now that we have that back from these trap uh not trap doors top Slabs on the outer layers right here we’re going to have eight wool trap doors going back so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 six seven and eight same thing on the right side 1 2 3 4 5 six seven and eight like so next up here behind the center wool Trap door right there we’re going to place a single full block of wool right there in the center followed by two wool top slabs going back one and two and then out to the sides here two more wool top slabs there so that’s one and two And one and two and with that that is everything for layers one and two all right so for layer three here we’ll be starting from this forward most wool top slab right there we’re going to drop a wool full block diagonal forwards from it just like This next out to the sides here we’re going to place another wool full block diagonal just like this followed by a stone button out to either side right there then going back from this here we’re going to place another Target block on either side just like this with Another Stone button out to either side there and that’ll be for another static port on either side of the nose right there then going back from this here we’re going to grab the light blue glaze terra cotta now in The A Team pack here the Terra cotas are a half black wo Utility and each of these has four rotations so we want to find the orientation where the black wo is on the top half and the white wo is on the bottom half so for me that’s facing down the aircraft like this so whichever direction it is for you just Place one Of those going back from both of those Target blocks there now we’re using this here because the bottom half of the block here will be showing through the outside of the aircraft while the top block is covered off but that top block there will also be visible from the Inside of the cockpit interior there so that just helps to flush off the floor a little bit more now if you don’t have access to the A Team pack you can probably get away with just using a full block of wool in its place there but This is why we’re using it here so next upep here out to either side we have a single wool top slide just like like this followed by a row of six wall blocks going back so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 and six and 1 2 3 4 5 and six like So next on out to either side of the formost block right there we’re going to place another Stone button just like this and on the right side as well and that’ll be for another set of pedo tubes on the side of the nose right there next only on the left side right Here we’re going to place a single Stone button out to the side of the rear most block of those right there and this will be for the first of three angle of attack veins on the side of the feast slush right here next we again have some Asymmetry to worry about here so only on the right side to start with we’ll be placing three blocks of quartz going back from those wols there so that’s one two and three that’ll finish off the Ford cargo door right there next we have 29 blocks of wool going back so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 and 29 like so next we have three blocks of quartz going back one two and three that’ll finish off the after cargo door There then three blocks of wool going back one two and three and a full block of Quartz right there to finish off the bolt cargo door and then finally one single block of wool right there then on the left side that’s just going to be 40 blocks of wol to bring it Flush so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 Seven 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 and 40 like so now going back From this here we have two wool top slabs going back from both of these rows one and two and one and two then starting on the inside of the fourmost block right there to close that Gap up we have four blocks of wo going back 1 2 3 and four and 1 2 3 and four now going back from both of these here we we have two wool top slabs so that’s one and two and one and two then starting in towards the center of that formost block there to close this up only on the right side We have three blocks of wool going back one two and three and then a wool stair facing backwards just like this on the left block here it’s going to be four blocks going back instead 1 2 3 and four so this will be starting off a small Vent on the side of the tailone there that’s only present on the right side but going back from both of these here we have two wool top slabs now one and two and one and two next from that wool St on the right side there we’re going To place a single block of wool in towards the center right there to close that up followed by one more going back from it now you’ll notice we have a small gap on theide right here to correct this little mistake I made from the previous layer we’re just going to Place one more W top slab going back from both of those right there so we have three three and three on all three blocks just like that my apologies for that I misread my notes but luckily it’s an easy enough fix right there so once we have that going back from the Center Wall block right there we have an upside down quartz stair facing forwards just like this for another antenna on the underside of the tail cone right here followed by one more wo top slab going back just like that and that will be everything for layer three all right so for layer four here We’ll be starting right on top of this formost wool full block from the previous layer we have a single block of wool right there on top of it then out to the sides here two blocks of wool going back then out to the sides again four More blocks of wool going back one 2 3 and four and 1 2 3 and four next back from this here we have an upside down quart stair facing in towards the center on both sides there to start off the Ford entry and service doors the L1 and R1 Doors now only on the left side here we have four blocks of wool going back so that’s 1 2 3 and four now to the side here a single Stone button right there for the second angle of attack vein now on the right side here it’s going to be Three blocks of wol going back instead 1 2 and three and a single Stone button right there for the third and final angle of attack vein now on the left side here we have seven blocks of wool going back 1 2 3 4 5 six and seven and out to the left side Of that right there we have a torch right there now as you can see in The A Team pack here this uh torch is a custom lamp model like this for our lights just use a stone button instead in default but this will be for the wing light here Illuminating the Leading Edge of the wing to check for icing on the right side here it’s going to be eight blocks of wool instead so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7even and eight to bring that flush there and then another torch right there in that same place for the right Wing light and then a single block of wall going back from both of those right there next we have an upside down quart St facing in towards the center right here on both sides just like this and this will be starting off the forward emergency exit doors the L2 and R2 Doors now going back from this here on both sides we have 16 blocks of wool so that’s one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 and on the right too 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 and an upside down tart stair facing in towards the center like so for the AF emergency exit doors then going back here we have 16 blocks of wool again 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 and on the right as well 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 now back from this here we’re going to place a single quartz half slab on the actually on the top half right here Like so followed by one more in towards the center on the bottom half right there and this will be starting off the after doors right here so once we have that only on the right side now we’re going to place a single smooth stone full block forwards From that uh towards half SL right there no technically this is a part of the end here and this is all get built up later but that’ll just flush off the bottom of that uh vent right there so you can’t see through the hole on from the Outside but once we have that going back from these innermost quartz slabs right there we’re going to place three blocks of w going back one two and three and one two and three then one more full Block in towards the center right there to close up the Gap from the underside And a second block going back to make that a row of two then back from both of these well all three of these blocks here we have two wool top slabs on all sets so one and two one and two and one and two and with that that is everything for layer Four all right so for layer five here we’ll be starting right from this first full full block from the previous layer we’ll be dropping a single wo half slab back at an angle from it just like this next going back here we’re going to place a single black wool full Block in The center like so with another wo half slab out to either side next we’re going to grab that light blue blaz terra cotta again and we’re going to place another one of these behind both of these wo half slabs right there again with the black wool on the Top half and the white wo on the bottom half here so this will be starting off the cockpit glass here which in 1.5 to1 scale Falls between block layers like this with a top slab on this layer and a half slab in the next layer up so for These two terracottas here these will still be obscured from the outside we’re just using that white Woolf slab there for detailing on the cockpit interior later on so if you really need to you can just use two more black Woolf full blocks in those places there but from This now we’ll be placing another W half slab out to either side like this and now we do have to place in that terra cotta there on either side like so so for a work around from these ones here since this is exposed from the outside if you can’t include these terracottas What you can do instead is use a Nether Brick half slab on the top half right here in both of these positions with a white wolf full Block in towards the center so that’ll give you the impression of a top slab there it’ll leave a little bit of a gap from the Outside here and it’ll unfortunately encroach onto the interior of the cockpit but it’s the only way to get the outline correct from the outside here but either way once we have that again replacing that terra cotta there for me at least next going back from this we Have uh two white wolf full blocks on both sides here one and two then one and two like so next we’re going to place a regular Tor stair facing backwards on both sides just like this to continue the forward doors here then we’re going to place 11 upside Down wall stairs going back so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 and 11 lights so so this will be starting off the windows in this layer here so the same thing on the right side 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 and 11 And a single W full block back from both of those there now before we continue on we can use world edit here to improve the forward doors a little bit more so the first thing we’re going to do is place a temporary block out to the side Like this then we’ll grab a stone button out to the left side here select that and then paste over that’ll be for the handle on the side of the door here and now we can corner off this stair a little bit more here to give some more Curvature for the door itself so we’ll place a stair facing backwards just anywhere then a stair facing to the right in front of it like this so you have only one connection on the forward left corner right there select that and then paste over now again without world Edit it’s not too crucial but it does add a little bit more curvature to the doors so this is the design we use for our doors here so I’ll just do the same thing on the right side with the button first there select and paste over and then corner off the stair like So so now that we have that we’ll let’s be placing a tartz stair facing forwards back from both of these wool rows right there to finish off the well not finish off but continue the forward exit doors right here then back from this we have a total Of six upside down wool stairs facing backwards 1 2 3 4 5 and six and 1 2 3 4 five and six now that we have that we can again continue with the uh doors here so we do have to place these sections in here first just so we don’t give the stairs Any block updates and break everything but now that all the blocks are placed adjacent to these stairs here we can continue without worry so we’ll full block out to the side select the button and paste over same thing on the right as well button and paste over and then The corner stairs uh oops that’ll be for the left one there and then same thing on the right side right there so you have only a connection on the rear right half this time and the rear left half there so now that we have that Behind These sections of six Windows here we’ll Place a single white Woolf full block for a full Gap separation and then an upside down W start facing forwards behind both of these here and then seven upside down wall stairs facing backwards 1 2 3 4 5 six and seven and 1 2 3 4 5 six and seven Like so so that’ll give you these two blocked off window sections right there next behind this we’ll Place another white W full block right there and then a Tor stair facing forwards on both sides and then we’re going to place a single white wolf full block behind both of those There next we can again do our world edit uh additions for the doors here so the buttons and then with the stairs here toward stair facing forwards stair behind it facing to the right select that past it over the left one clear that out stair behind it facing to the Left select the corner stair and paste over now we’re going to be placing 13 upside down B stairs but these will all be facing forwards instead of backwards now for this window spacing here so for this I’m going to use a temporary block To place in 13 uh Gap spaces here so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 and 13 and then two wo full blocks going back from this right there should land just short of the after door right there next we’ll clear out those temporary blocks and we Have 13 upside down W stairs facing forwards 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 and 13 like so same thing on the right here since we’ve already counted that out twice I can just Place those two wool full blocks in right there just in line With those from the left side and then 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 and 13 upside down wall stairs on the right side next we’re going to place a quartz stair facing backwards on both sides right there and then a wool full block going back from That next we can place a button out to the left and right sides again to continue the world eded editions for the doors here then with the corner stairs stair facing backwards stair facing to the left in front of it select that one paste over the right side clear out the side stair Stair facing to the right this time select that corner stair and paste over the left side next from these uh two will full blocks right here dropping in a block we’re going to place three blocks going back one two and three then a quartz stair facing to the Left and then behind this here we’re going to place a stair facing forwards like so this will start to form off the stabilizer trim at the tail conone of the aircraft here and we’ll do the same thing on the right side so stair faing to the right there and a stair facing Forwards the corner off right there next we have one more wool full block going back from both those right there one more in towards the center to close up that Gap from the UND side then we’re going to place a quartz half slab on the bottom half going back from that right There then a lever on the underside flet facing backwards with a wool top slab out to either side and then two wool top slabs not wool top slabs two quartz top slabs going back in the center right there for the Apu door on the tail cone Of the aircraft here and with that that is everything for layer five all right so for layer six here we’ll be starting right on top of the fourmost wool full block from the previous layer the black wool full block that is with a single nether brick half Slab right there behind this we’re going to place a single wool top slab on the top half with a black wall half slab out to either side the nether brick half slab that is then another wool top slab behind both of those right there and then one more Nether brick half slab out to either side like so and that’ll finish up the cockpit glass right there next we have two wool full blocks going back from both of those nether Brit slabs there and then a quartz full block behind those to finish off the forward Doors next we have 12 blocks of wool going back 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and 12 and 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and 12 then another quartz full block back from both of those to finish off this Next set of doors then 16 W full blocks going back 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 and another tartz full block back From both of those there to finish off the next set of doors then another set of 16 wool blocks patch from both sides 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 and 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 and 16 and then one more set of tartz full BLS back from both sides right there then we have a single wool has slab behind both of those tartz full blocks next in towards the center from both of these we’re going to place four wool Blocks going back so that’s 1 2 3 and four and 1 2 3 and and four then two quartz full blocks going back from both sides there to finish off the stabilizer trim two w full blocks going back on both sides then in towards the center here three wall full blocks going back One two and three out to either side of that first uh wo full block right there we’re going to place a stone button on either side right here for a set of vents on the tail cone of the aircraft and then behind this last wo full block Right there we’re going to grab the bubble Coral fan and place that behind right there in the AR team pack this is a stone brick vertical slab model like so and this will be representing the Apu exhaust at the rear of the tail conone here in default you’ll probably just Want to use a stone brick wall instead for kind of that indication of a partial stone brick section but this vertical slab here is the best shape to preserve the layering of the aircraft once we have that if you have access to world edit we can place in one more small Detail in the form of a temporary block blow and a stone button aligned parallel with the aircraft like this on the underside select that with a replace tool and paste over so once we have that that is everything for layer six all right so to cap off the fuselage we’ll now put in Layer seven and eight so we’ll be starting right from this formost wool top slab from the previous layer behind this we’re going to drop a wool half slab on the bottom half right there with a wool stair facing forwards behind it like so another wool half slab out to Either side there and then a wool stair facing forwards behind both of those as well like so in the center here we’re going to place a row of 57 W full blots going back so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 51 52 53 54 55 56 and 57 like so that should land Right in line with those last Rose from the previous layer right there so now that we have that on both sides going back from both of these wool stairs now it’s going to be 52 wool full blocks on both sides so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 51 and 52 like so same thing on the right Side as well so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 51 and 52 like so and we’ll finish off the uh rest of the tail conone layering here in just a second but first we’re going to continue on with the detailing on the top of the Fus right here so from the first wo F Block in the Center row right here behind that wool stair on top of this wolo block here we’re going to place a single jungle button aligned parallel with the aircraft now I can’t remember if we’ve already used one of these in this tutorial but in The A Team pack here as You can see this is a white wall texer on the button just use another Stone button in default but we have two of these right here so one more behind that first one and then a lever flp facing backwards right there next behind this skipping the center block out to either side we’re Going to place a stone button on both sides parallel with the aircraft diagonal to that lever right there then from this center block right here counting this block between them we’re going to skip 10 blocks going back so I’m going to use a temporary block For this just to count out so that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10 on the 11th block right here we’re going to place another jungle button aligned parallel with the aircraft here we can clear out that row of temporary blocks now then skip two Blocks going back one and two on the third block here another jungle button aligned parallel with the aircraft then behind this we’ll skip a row of six blocks so 1 2 3 four five and six and on the seventh block here aligned parallel with the aircraft another dark oak button this time which In the r pack here is a red button texture this will be for the red Beacon Light On Top of the Fus here just use a uh brick slab in default instead but now we can clear out those temporary blocks there and we’ll skip two blocks going Back one and two on the third block here we’re going to grab a birch trap door and place one of those right there and this will be for a larger antenna pad on the top of the aircraft right here then we’ll skip two more blocks going back One and two and another Birch trap door right there on the third block next we’ll skip a section of six blocks going back one 2 3 4 5 and six and then we have a lever flp facing backwards right there clear out those temporary blocks then We’ll skip one block going back one and on the second block right here a birch trap door then behind this a set of three snow layers one two and three then a set of another set of three snow layers behind this here one two and Three then a set of two snow layers one and two and out to either the side of those sets of three right there one single snow layer so that’s one two three and four on both sides like this so this will be for the satcom antenna installed at the after the aircraft Right here now an important thing to note is that not all aircraft have these installed so if you’re building a replica of a real aircraft if it doesn’t have the satcom antenna installed you can just clear this out afterwards but do make sure to still preserve the Spacing here as we’re going to continue on afterwards here so behind that set of two snow layers we’re going to skip now four blocks going back 1 2 3 and four and we have one final lever FX facing backwards right there and then we can clear out those temporary blocks so as a Final sanity check we’re going to place six temporary blocks going back from that lever here 1 2 3 4 5 and six and this should fall right in line with the outer two layers right there so with that we can confirm that the spacing all the way throughout is indeed correct and We can clear out those temporary blocks there so the final thing we can do for this layer now is to from these outer layers right here we’ll Place three wo half slabs going back 1 two and three and 1 two and three and then back from The center row right here two wool half slabs 1 and two so with that that will complete the tail tone layering and the fuselage is done so with the fuselage of the a321 complete the next step will be to use the base A320 tutorial to build the vertical stabilizer the horizontal Stabilizer and the wings all three of these will be built exactly as in the A320 tutorial in the same place relative to their locations on this aircraft as well so from the A320 tutorial that I referenced to you in the introduction segment of this video you will now pull Up the vertical stabilizer section using the time stamps in its video description now I would recommend making a note of this on a piece of paper somewhere probably since you are completing multiple sections at once here you’ll want to stop right after the wings are completed and right as the title card Comes up in the top left that the tutorial s is switching over to the wing tip fences upon reaching the wing tip fences you will pause that video and return back here as before we continue with the rest of the aircraft we have some slight discrepancies to fix up with The a321 wing but again as a final recap before we regroup back here you’ll be completing the vertical stabilizer the horizontal stabilizer and the wings stopping short of the wing tip fences so just complete those sections from the a through2 tutorial and I will see you then all right so once you have Your finished vertical stabilizer horizontal stabilizers and wings on the a321 it should look exactly like this so next up here we have two sets of small modifications to make to the wing here to make it a321 Wing so first and foremost on the A320 wing and all other Members of the family the A320 uses a single slotted flap section however since the a321 is much larger and heavier than its predecessor it uses a double slotted flap section to generate the much higher lift required and these additional panels in the flaps also involve the addition of some smaller Flap track fairings between the larger flap canoes here so for these starting from the inboard side right here where we have these three smooth Stone top slabs here we’re going to knock out the center one right there and replace it with a smooth Stone stair facing to the Left like so behind this here we’re going to grab a temporary block and we’re going to place a stone button on the rear face right there select that with the replace tool and paste over and then for our second smaller additional flap track fairing here on the inboard Flap section out to the side of this top slab right there we’re going to place a jungle trap door and then one more going back from it right there so working our way out from this now we now reach the larger first flap tart fairing right there then the smaller flap tart fairing At the edge connecting with the engine pylon there and that’s everything for the inboard flap section there so then moving to the outboard flap section where we have these three smooth Stone top slabs right here out from this we’re going to knock out the center one replace it with a smooth Stone stair Facing to the left right there and then another button behind it right here like so then we have the first larger flap track fairing of the outboard flaps here and then we’re going to place two smaller flap tart fairings between this and the final flap tart fairing there so Underneath these two smoothstone top slabs right there we’re going to place a button aligned parallel with the aircraft right there and then one more in the center block right there and then behind those two slabs there we have two Stone buttons on the rear face like so So then next to that there is the final flap F fairing section and that is the end of the outboard flaps there so we’ll just do the same thing on the right side of the wing here so we have this first set of smoothstone top slabs right there Knock out the center one replace it with a Smo Stone stair facing to the right like this Stone button behind it like so then out to the side of this top SL right there jle trap door and one more behind it then we have that larger flap track fairing there and the pylon Fairing then these three uh smooth Stone top slabs right there knock out the center one replace it with one facing to the right right there and paste the stone button behind it then working our way out here we have this next larger fairing right here and then Behind These Two smooth stone slabs there we’ll place place two buttons behind it and then underneath one and two smooth Stone buttons on the underside facing parallel with the aircraft like this and that will be everything for the flaps so with those all in place now for our second And final modification of the wing here we’re going to be clearing out the over wi exits so on the A320 the aircraft featured two smaller over wi edits here with corresponding markings on the wings however to match the increased capacity on the a321 those headsets were spread out and replaced with the larger Emergency exsit doors here forward and behind the wing and as such these emergency edit markings are no longer present on the a321 so for this we’ll first start on the left side here so where we have this forward most Red Top slab right there or half slab rather We’re going to be clearing that out and replacing it with a single stone brick slab right there then out to the side here this whole row of red slabs there is going to get replaced with stone brick as well so one 2 3 and four like so next we can Just clear out that red carpet there as well as those two white carpets and then these three uh quartz stop slabs right there or half slabs rather are going to get replaced with stone brick as well like so so that’ll just complete that gray marking extending into the base of the wing There and we’ll just do the same thing on the right side so clear out those carpets and all of these slabs here will get replaced with stone brick like so so with that that is everything for the wings of the a321 all right so now that the wings Themselves are complete the next step will be installing the wing tip devices so from the b a 320 tutorial you will now be completing either the wing tip fences or the sharklets depending on your preference now on the 8 through2 tutorial it was possible to leave those Out entirely and leave the wings as you see here with no wing tip devices installed to create the a3201 100 however as mentioned in the intro this is not applicable for the a321 by the time the a321 came around the wing tip fences were standard so no a321 has ever Flown without wing tip devices so you’ll be wanting to complete one of those depending on your preference again as before you’ll find the time stance to either of those in the description of the A320 tutorial so just use those time stamps to skip ahead to those and Complete either the wing tip fences or the sharklets and I will see you once that’s done so now that you have your wingtip devices installed the next step will be to install the engines again as mentioned in the introduction the available options are the CFM 565b and the ie v20 500 and as mentioned as well while in the A320 tutorial a conversion for the cfm56 5A engine is available this is not applicable for the a321 and the only CFM variant that flew on an a321 is the CFM 565b so as with all previous sections here time stamps To both of those engines are in the video description of the A320 tutorial so just switch on over to that complete the engines of your choice and I will see you then so with the engines now in place well let’s be starting on the interior Of the a321 one so first up here we’re going to step onto the inside of the aircraft here and finish up the cargo bay so for the forward cargo bay here where we have these three quart stairs for the forward cargo door we’re going to place a wall stair facing backwards Between them just like this next on top of this here we’re going to place a row of three upside down wool stairs on top of this section here to close that up from the front now going back to this here we have this long row of wool Stairs on both sides here we’re going to add two more wool stairs going backwards from this facing towards the center on both sides so one and two and one and two then we have a row of three wall across the center there and another row of three on top to close that up There then between all of this here in the Jabs between these stair layers we’re going to place a set of spruce trap doors all the way down the center and in the AR team pad here this is a stone trap door texture just use an iron Trap door in default but we’ll run this all the way along here to fill in the floor panels of the cardo Bay here stopping short of this wool trap door right there we will not be clearing that one out since there’s a lever on the underside of it here but continuing After it there we’ll continue on with the spruce trap doors like so then between all of this we’re going to grab the wool top slabs and just place a set of wool top slabs across the center here to close that up and give you a kind of wedge shaped interior Looking just like this and we’ll run this all the way down the cargo bay so just Bo this all the way off here and once we have that that’s the forward cargo bay done and we’ll continue with the after cargo bay here so in this little section here where we Have these Corner stairs behind the wheel well we’re just going to run two more wool stairs facing in towards the center to join those sections up then we’ll run a set of three upside down wo stairs facing backwards across the top of that there to close that section off And at the rear right here where we have this similar bolt cargo door here and these three wo full blocks behind it we’ll place down a set of three wool full blocks on top of that there to close that up then we’ll run our Spruce trap doors along the floor as before Again ignoring those uh wool trap doors that are already in place since those are visible from the exterior and then we’ll box all of this off with the wool top slabs to fill in the uh roof of the cargo bay right here come on there we go Ah like so so now that we have our two cargo bays in place the next t to the interior will be shared between this and the A320 tutorial now since the seating has changed with the stretch Tage here we will be having to build that separately here so we’re only completing A small section of the Interior until then so I’d recommend making a note of this somewhere so you have reference for it when the time comes but from the A320 tutorial you’ll be completing the interior starting at 1 hour 48 minutes and 46 seconds from here you’ll be completing Through three sections the tabin the flight deck and the first class when the section card in the top left corner switches over to the economy class section at 1 hour 56 minutes and 29 seconds you’ll be pausing the A320 tutorial and returning here to build that separately so just complete those Three sections and I will see you again here once that’s done all right so this is what your interior should look like with everything completed until the economy class section as covered so for our economy seating in the a321 here we’re first going to place a prismarine stair facing forwards immediately behind This jungle trap door right there on top of this we’re going to place a prismarine slab right there now as you can see here in the r pack the prismarine is a blue texture and we use blue seating for our base economy class configurations in default you can just Use a stone brick instead but once we have that this is going to be a set of two rows of seating right here so we have one skip a block there and and two like so same thing on the left side here so stair facing forwards slap on top That’s one and two like so next before we continue we can fill in this last Gap in the floor right here so this whole section between those two cargo Bays will get filled in with the grey wolf F blocks like so so this will just give us A uh pad to work off of here and also cover up the uh wheel well from underneath there so once we have that continuing on with our seating now we’ll let skip set of two blocks going back so one and two now the third block right There we’ll place our uh seed in right there so that’ll create a larger gap between the seats here in line with the exit door as is on the real aircraft and this will be a total of eight seats in this Center section right here so this is One 2 3 4 5 6 7 and eight like so same thing on the left side here so one two blocks on the third block there’s one seat 2 3 4 5 6 7 and eight like so next we’ll again skip a set of two blocks Going back so one and two and the third block right there stair facing forwards and a slab on top and again that’ll create another Gap there in line with the after exit door so this will again be a section of eight seats going back so we have one two 3 Four five six seven and eight like so and then between these three blocks right there we can just fill that in with the gray wall full blocks for now then going back here to the left side again skip two blocks one and two And eight seats going back so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and eight like so next we’ll take the gray carpets and head all the way back up to the front here the class divider bulkhead we’re going to place a single gray carpet between these two uh Trap doors right there and out to the sides here these wool top slabs aren’t able to have gray Carpets on them because that block space is already occupied by the trap door there so for this we’ll have to replace this with the diorite top slab on both sides right There it’ll impact the cargo holds a little bit but the interior here is the more important one to have so running our way back we’ll now take the gr carpet and fill in the whole floor section right here with the gray carpet running all the way to the end of the Economy seating that we’ve created we’ll also cover up the grey wall section in the center here just that we don’t have any weird gaps in the uh floor where the layering changes just to bring everything nice and flush in line so cover this all up with the gray carpets Here and we’ll stop right in line with the last stair that we put in place so again covering up these three gry wo full blocks again right there we’ll stop right there and then to fill in the overhead bins and the rest of the ceiling here we’ll grab the quartz Stairs and run upside down quartz stairs facing in towards the center going back from those ones we already had created from the first class seating and this will again run all the way to uh in line with the last seat that we put in place so just to Here There we go and Same thing on the left side now let’s run this all the way in line with the last seat that we had put in place like so and then we’ll run our Birch trap doors all the way down the center oops and there we go so the final Section of the Interior here the after G will be completed from the base A320 tutorial as well since it’s shared between the two so returning to the A320 tutorial you’ll be completing the after G from the time stamp 1 hour 59 minutes and 41 seconds from there you’ll complete all The way through to the end of the Interior section and that will be everything for the interior of the a321 so just regroup back here once that’s done so with the interior now complete that is everything for the inflate aircraft if you are building this aircraft with the landing gear retracted Then you are done with this tutorial congratulations otherwise for the final section of this Tut we’ll be building the extended landing gear and as before since the landing gear is shared between this and the A320 this will be completed from the base A320 tutorial now as a quick heads up we Do have an option in the A320 tutorial for the double booy landing gear that Indian Airlines used on their a320s but this never flew on the a321 so just use the time stamp in the description of the A320 tutorial to skip ahead to the landing gear section complete that and Return back here when the landing gear is done short of the double bogy section for some last small modifications to make to the landed gear for the a321 so I will see you once you have the landed gear ready to go so this is what your finished landing Gear should look like installed on the a321 so we have just one small clarification to make here so as you may recall from the base tutorial we had to use world edit to make sure that these carpets floated above that space that we carved out in there however those Carpets were left over from the overing exit markings which are only present on the A320 and not the a321 so instead what we’ll be doing here is placing these with jungle trap doors so clear out both of these here and place jungle trap doors in their place Right there and that’ll just seal up the smooth Stone coloring for the top here and we’ll just do the same thing on the right side so make sure that those carpets are instead jungle trap doors like so and once you have that the a321 is done so
