Hey everybody so today I want to show you guys how to install our L craft or real-life craft manually and not through the twitch app so if you have the Java version that you like to install mods on manually this is how you can do it alright so first we’re just gonna close Out of Minecraft okay now the first thing we’re gonna do is we’re gonna go to curse forge comm slash microphone pack / RL craft I will have the links to all of this in the description and then we’re gonna go to we’re gonna get the the latest server pack because you can Actually use a server pack as as or for the client manual installation as well so we’re gonna click here okay server pack 1.12 0.2 then we’re just gonna hit download your download will begin in three two one I already have it so I’m just gonna ignore that part now we’re gonna go to Minecraft forge net once again I’ll have this link in the description we want to make sure to go to one point twelve point two because it associates with the version of the mod pack now the bundle that is suggested is fourteen point two three point five point two eight zero Three because that is the version that was bundled with the mod pack so then we’re gonna hit the Installer option here and to get here once you get to this page you’re gonna click show all versions and then just go down to fourteen twenty three five two where did I go to 8:03 okay and then just click the Installer and click keep I already have it so I’m going to skip that part now the next thing that we need is Optifine now I guess we don’t actually need this but it’s their personal personal preference of mine is to have Find because the shaders availability and I just I just love using shaders even if you don’t download a shader pack you can use the internal shaders and Optifine and it just makes the game more visually appealing so then we’ll just click here and we’ll click keep I Already have it so I’m just gonna discard okay now we’ll go back to our desktop and we’re gonna want to extract Once your RL craft server pack is extracted we want to open up our minecraft folder so one easy way to this is usually like the default location your user and then app data roaming minecraft but if you don’t know where you installed minecraft you can open up your launcher go to installations choose Any one of these yours are going to be different you may not have as many eight you may only have one and then you can choose game directory here and click browse it’ll show you where your where your Minecraft is installed mine is in my user app data roaming and then here’s The top minecraft folder and that’s where it’s installed so you can go there in your file explorer and that’s that’s that’s how you can find it there previously now once we are in here we want to make sure that everything in our mods folder is empty and everything in our config Folder is empty deleted so we want to make sure those two folders are empty and then the next thing we’re going to do is go back here to forge and install client and it’s gonna find where your Minecraft is is installed it’s gonna find the path to your Minecraft I’m Assuming because this is the default path that my minecraft installed on so if yours is installed somewhere else you can click here and then change the directory but it should find and automatically locate your path to your minecraft now we’ll just click install client and hit OK I’ve already done this But you know what we’ll do it anyways ok successfully install client profile forge version forge 1.12 point two perfect because that’s the one that we want all right and then we can just open up on minecraft Launcher ok and then we’ll see here that we have one point Twelve point to forge and then the build number that we downloaded so 14 23 528 oh three good if you have that perfect the later versions should work the the mod creators said that later version should work but if they don’t use this one because this is the one that was was Combined or built with the mod pack so that’s just the one that we’re going with now after we do that we can close back out open up our minecraft folder again as well as our server pack great copy everything making there click and drag or right click copy right click Paste or control C control V then we’re gonna move everything over here and then the next step is to install Optifine I already have the stuff installed so I should saying they’re duplicates I will go ahead and replace great next Optifine opt fine to work with Forge needs to be Placed in the mods folder alright simple close or minimize minimize minecraft Launcher ok make sure to select the installation for some reason it’s an unnamed installation but you can tell here it’s one point twelve point to forge installation so we’re just going to choose that one and hit play and we Should see everything build if not that’s just because I’ve already installed it ok yep so you can see all the mods loading up and we’ll just let them finish all right 125 mods loaded 125 mods and active you can go in here to look at them all if you wish Okay then from here we can choose single-player and create a new world I have already created one called RL craft and then I’m gonna join it and we’ll see how it goes okay Fresh fire what no success nice level – got some cool all right I believe I’m gonna start creating a little series of this RL craft because it’s it’s it’s very interesting to me and I want to see how it plays out looks very challenging and I’m just I’m Really excited so actually before I go let me show you guys video settings shaders so if you haven’t downloaded any shaders yet you’re only gonna have this option is internal ok now it done done back to game cool game already looks a little prettier everything takes a Little while to load in that’s just a mod pack though and then let me show you what it looks like with I have silver vibrant shaders and it may not make a difference but 1.18 actually worked just a slight bit better for me than 1.23 it causes a lot more a lot more frame drop having these shaders on so I might go back and get rather than the high maybe the medium shaders so We’ll see but this is what it looks like honestly it’s freaking gorgeous the water the water is beautiful Wow and I’m getting about C so 70 80 90 frames but when I go in to see if I load up and do chunks just be running okay It’s staying above 60 so it’s nice 51 47 yeah well that makes sense look at all oh my god okay I’m just gonna stay away from that but you get it frames actually aren’t that bad so I may stick with these see okay cool and another thing Because I forgot earlier let me just close out of that quick game if we open up our minecraft launcher Okay and we go to our installations and we find this one that we just created at the Forge 1.5.2 go edit and then we can go to more options here and then it defaults to two but you’re going to want to change it to four that way your your minecraft use It’s a little bit more memory and it can run a little more smoother so and then we’ll hit save and then you’re ready to play that’s it I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and once again I hope you’re able to follow along and that it installed successfully for you so that You can play this awesome game if you have any questions please comment below and I’ll do my best to help you out if you Are you as excited to play RL Craft as I am? When installing the modpack, I noticed that there were only a couple YouTube videos that showed how to install the modpack, but they were through the Twitch app. I wanted to make this video tutorial to show others how they can install the mod pack manually into the Java version of Minecraft.
