Uncovering the “ALL BIOMES” Minecraft secret!

The Minecraft Java achievement system a pretty straightforward system where you need to collect achievements in the right order in order to progress on to the next achievements once you’ve gotten them all well nothing really happens but it’s cool to show off nonetheless but one of the achievements on this list

Easily Trump’s all of them in terms of difficulty you might spend as much time getting this one achievement as you do every other one combined which is the adventuring time achievement it’s easy to get confused since the description says discover all biomes when you don’t actually have to so what gives what goes

Into getting this achievement well today I’m going to show you just that so let’s dive right in while every achievement and minecraft must be completed in order the adventuring time achievement actually tracks all of the biomes you enter regardless of whether or not you’re actually ready for the achievement yet

That’s because every five seconds or so minecraft checks to see what biome you’re in and compares it to a list of biomes you’ve ever been to on that world if the biome you’re in isn’t on your visited list it stores it and when you’re ready to get the adventuring time

Achievement minecraft checks to see if 36 specific biomes have been visited yet if they have you instantly get the achievement this is also why you are unable to take the achievement away from yourself in-game with a command without immediately getting it back so what are the 36 biomes that you need to visit

Well here they are but before I get into what each of these biomes looks like I want to talk about the various variants of biomes that usually get people confused and many biomes in M or mountainous variant and an F or forest variant will spawn for the sake of these

Achievements though you only need to concern yourself with two of the total variants which is extreme Hills plus and Mesa plateau F that’s it aside from that none of the other M or F variants are counted at all don’t even bother looking for them the only exact biomes that I list are the

Ones that you need not even the nether or the end are required just these ones so feel free to write them down and go nuts so what does each biome look like well honestly it would take me a while to show all of them off in this video so

I’m simply going to point you to two websites one is the page on the Minecraft Wiki that gives you a picture and a description of each and every biome I’d highly recommend checking that out if you’re going for this achievement the other is a website called mine atlas

What you can do with the site is load up the level.dat file for your minecraft world and it will tell you where all of the biomes are near you by showing a detailed map and it will also follow exactly where you are in the world live so that you don’t get lost

This is personally how I got the achievement and I’d recommend it for you too and that’s it while I know I didn’t actually explore every single biome in this video this video was aimed to clear up any confusion about what you actually need to do to complete this achievement
