UNREAL MAGIC ALCHEMY – Flux Chaos at Asgaard! #40

Hello again welcome back to Asgard and welcome back to enigmatic ax to expert so since last episode I have been doing a bit of clearing like here’s the Betania area or what’s becoming the Pattani area this area this whole magic area it’s big because it’s basically just a big cavern section that’s all

Gonna be dug out and then you know kind of like how the gardens took a really long time to do and it’s pretty much the same thing down here except it’s not gonna be as grassy it’s gonna be more Cabernet I mean I’ve got to get a lot of cave

Crystals and stuff I’ve got to dig this down to about bedrock I’ve got to open it up some down towards the bottom and then the us off in this direction has to be opened up off in that direction has to be opened up and then down here this

Has to all be redone and then all this has to be opened up it’s very much a work in progress so we’re gonna be looking at stone a little bit while this is going on but I did go ahead and I added a little teleport here and this

Takes us to our thumb craft area because we are finally approaching the day when we won’t have to have a temporary thaumcraft area and actually funny story let me grab the us we’re gonna need that I’ve got our research table and our focal manipulator and stuff down here

This front here if we pop down here we’re gonna be using this I have candles and some heads laid out candles are actually of course they’re super easy to craft just requiring some magic tallow and string for three of those and I’ve got I’ve got a bunch light out here I

Have a bunch of them we’re gonna get into this here in just a little bit but if you ever did like thaumcraft 5 you know about infusion and stabilizing it but basically symmetrical items will within a certain range just like a 25 by 25 by I don’t remember the Y level but I

Know that this will it will check this area I want to say hmm 25 by 25 by 13 or so I don’t know it’s something like it’s anyways it checks around it for symmetrical items and if stuff if certain items are not symmetrical like candles and skulls and pedestal

You lose a lot of stability I think it’s ten times or it’s one stability per per item that’s not symmetrical that it checks and then it’s point one stability for every symmetrical item so which will get into stability once we set up the Arcanum fusion but I went ahead and I

Started setting this up off camera because he’s basically just crafting a lot of candles and getting hands and laying it all out so but anyways everything like there’s two skulls over here there’s two skulls over here now if it’s a hand I’m not a percent sure if

It’s like thumb craft five in this but I know in thaumcraft five it didn’t matter like if you had a two skulls over here and then on this side you had two candles it didn’t matter that’s still counted as symmetrical because it just checked for an item that created

Stability on each side it didn’t did you know it didn’t check for a specific item but I have everything symmetrical skull to skull candle to candle just to make sure so and it just checks across the axis for symmetry so like I said we’ll get a little bit more into stabilization

Once we get the arcane infusion set up in place and then over here I’ve got the arcane work table set down you can see we have a hundred and ninety-one feet in this chunk right here which is actually the highest around our base we could make it higher if we planted like silver

Wood trees we could do that and boost that V but it’s not really necessary we will probably eventually Pro maybe probably plant some civil trees around here but in truth it’s not unless you’re V in your area is just super low it’s really not it’s really not needed at all so

We’ve got 191 in Valley and I want to craft I want to start getting I don’t know if we’re getting infusion up and going today or not because I got to thinking and I really haven’t even started and really into alchemy and so we may have to focus a little bit more

On that for an episode or two there is a lot to it and a lot that we need to do but what I want to do first and foremost is the that’s not the Oh what’s it called what’s it called workbench charger this is what I want to make first this he is

Basically it has the same look as the old V relay system for donker v but the workbench charger i want to make this it’s a V resonator a couple great wood planks a couple iron and I’ve got the V resonators okay and the reason I want to

Go ahead and get this is because we are about to move and do some very expensive things like for example if we take a look at because we’re gonna be doing a bit of alchemy today if we take a look at the thoug meum essentia smelter which if you recall that’s the upgraded

Version of the essentia smoke that we have at the moment it’s a little bit more efficient but if you take a look at the recipe this requires 250 feet now like I said I could probably take it over to that magical forest crafted no problem but there’s not really a whole

Lot of need for that we just need to make one thing really really quick and we’ll be fine and so what we’re gonna make is the workbench charger very very cheap but it does require 200 fee so you are going to need a decent amount of V

Before you can craft this either a good chunk I’ll find a magical forest something like that and let me go ahead and throw on our thumb craft armor which gives us of course a 13 percent discount on anything that we crops so now it only takes 174 thing so let’s go ahead and

Snag that and so the V in this this workbench has dropped and then what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna take the workbench charger we’re gonna put it on top there and now if we take a look we have 1315 V available inside of this workbench because what the workbench

Charger does is it will take the V from like we’re currently right here in this chunk what its gonna do is it’s gonna take the V from this chunk and all of these chunks a full 3×3 all that V is gonna come together and go into this

Arcane workbench so we pretty much no longer have to worry about V and the nice thing is anytime that we crafting thing that V is taken equally from all nine of those chunks so there’s not going to be one chunk that you know get heavily drained it’s gonna it’s gonna

Balance out and then all nine of those chunks are going to be recharging and then if we want to take a step far that we can plant we will be planting down some feed crystals and some silver wood trees and stuff like that to increase the amount of V and the V regeneration

And and stuff like that but honestly right now I think thirteen hundred and twenty two thirteen probably about 1450 V or something like that I mean if this chunk wasn’t fully depleted they’re almost fully depleted then we would have access to so it’s part of the reason I wanted this thaumaturge stuff last

Episode I’m also really really quick this check this quest right here I did complete this there was a quest here to make candles so I got that so we’ll just grab our loot chests and we got a sacred oak sapling okay not really useful by the way my mining like

I can literally just clear my Basin it’s like the same as mining I’m getting like tons of resources from them okay so now that we’ve got that the next thing I want to do is I want to upgrade our essential smelter and to do this I want

To move into the right now we can only do the thaw Miam essential smeltery there’s also a void metal essential smeltery I’m a little bit later on but we have to get into void mode oh by the way I did craft a sanity check from thaumcraft this is very easy to grab some

Alchemical brass mirrored glass and ZOMBIE BRAINS mirrored glass is Quicksilver which you can get from cinnabar so you can just smell that cinnabar to get it but this if we hold it in our hand you can see up the top left that’s my sanity basically you gain

Warp like whenever we were doing those researches that had the purple aura around them that generated warp and add and basically we’re going to get a little bit more insane I’ve actually started encountering some of the insanity stuff like nothing major I’ve got a natural hunger one time and I’ve

Got something is behind you undone which is basically showing that you’re getting more and more paranoid oh we actually got the research for bottled tank let’s go ahead and grab it that’s a bit more that’s a bit more warp for us oh look at that we are above the Gold Line

Okay so what we’re going to do is first and foremost let’s make ourselves a bunch of arcing pedestals I’m gonna need some more of these later on anyways but they’re also really useful for making saamiya like really really useful because zambian requires both Tara V or

Tara essentia and per cam ta5 of age and look at that it’s pretty close to what you need so one arcane pedestal one thumb IAM basically so let’s get like 16 of those and let’s see let’s pop over let’s go get ourselves a little bit of thaw Miam

There we go there’s sixteen about and then in addition to upgrade this I mean it’s mainly foamy um the essentials military and then two of the brass plates a bunch of V but we also need this our chemical construct which is iron plates a cinch uh vials which we

Basically just need to cinch up tubes and a couple levers great wood planks cinch of tubes or Quicksilver drops alchemical brass Nuggets iron plants alright so we’ll go ahead and just toss some cinnabar in there get ourselves a couple pieces of Quicksilver it’s actually more than what we need and all

Right by the way we are updated to 1.39 a I believe it’s the number for it we did update to that so let’s go ahead and get ourselves some Quicksilver drops let’s pop back down and the let’s say the essentia tubes we’re gonna need these oh yeah I need iron plates whoops

And let me get a few more things that is one thing I’ve noticed using a lot of in thaumcraft in this pack you know is the iron plates like a whole bunch of them okay so we get eight of these at a time Quicksilver drops I’m gonna go ahead and

Do like three three nuggets and then one two three there we go and there is 24 essentia tubes and then I’m gonna need the alchemical constructs which need a couple of the essentials so let’s go ahead and get ourselves say let’s go with four of these so that

Because I want to make two batches of our chemical constructs to start with and great would go um I need some more iron plates I’ve got more crafting up so it’s not a big deal okay so there is four alchemical constructs and then for the thumb iam essential smeltery we’re

Going to need actually just one of those but and then I need somnium plates and alchemical brass plates I’m just gonna make I think I’m just gonna make one of these smell trees for right now we build we might eventually make – it all depends on I mean I’m not gonna do

Probably a whole lot of bellows on them so I don’t know how much how much essential we’re gonna be running but if I find that I need more will upgrade it’s not a big deal and our plates we can just make you know in the metal

Former however you want to make them any any method that makes plates works in here so and we’ll go ahead and pop over to the temporary thaumcraft area let’s grab doubts let’s grab oh man that takes harvest level osmium X okay that’s why so there’s our plates and there’s our

Smeltery and there we go the thallium essentia smeltery tuner and seventeen feet across this with a 13 percent discount so a little bit expensive but that’s okay there we go there style and this thing is a ten percent efficiency increase you can see it jumps from 80%

To 90% efficiency that means we’re gonna go from 20% v that’s being turned into flux and shot into the air it’s a 90 percent 10 percent flux that’s gonna go into the air and also 10 percent loss instead of 20 percent loss on the V that

We generate okay so we just completed a quest here the thallium essentia smeltery let’s go ahead and get our loot chests and what did we get we got a benevolent goddess charm I think I’m probably gonna go put that away because I don’t think it’s really all that

Useful but we’re in this pack at the moment or whatever because basically whenever you claim chunks with MTV utilities it keeps explosions from destroying blocks that’s what benevolent goddess Chun does is I don’t remember the radius but around you explosions can’t damage block so things like creepers and stuff they’re not

Gonna damage blocks but um okay so let’s see what was that noise something that’s behind you that’s one of the the farm craft things so by the way with the new update all the facades from Indra io have lost their visual so I’m gonna have to change these over from stone pressure

Plate so it does basically repaint everything but I’m in the process of pulling up all the indoor conduits because they’re just bad on lag actually all of them are pulled up except for our reactor ones at the moment but but all the facades were gone – okay so now that

We’ve got this that’s 90% efficiency but we can boost it even further there is a thing called it’s some kind of events auxilary venting port this right here and this is crafted with a couple V filters alchemical construct iron plates and brass plates overall fairly cheap and we just made three extra alchemical

Constructs for a reason we are gonna need more of them later but that’ll be good for right now and basically what these do it’s one of things that’s the slurry pump that’s we might get into this basically it’s it you connected up to your basically your essential smelters there’s three things

That you can attach to them one is the bellows which I’m not for sure where it lists that in here right here no I’m actually not for sure where it talks about the bellows have we unlocked the bellows yet there are bellows that will speed up your smeltery these right here

They’re very cheap and then there is also the slurry pump which will act as a you can process into more Olympics through that if you want so you have a little bit faster processing and more more processing going on for the essentia that’s in there and then there

Is also these right here I like the venting ports it’s not as fast as going with the bellows it doesn’t give me as many Olympics as going with the the slurry pumps but I’m each of these venting ports it’s gonna cut down on the flux of u-joint by third and if you run

There are diminished four terms it talks about right here there are diminished returns but if you run three of these there’s like next to no flux at all so I’d rather have you know maybe a couple extra Thommy of essential smelters but totally safe I like the venting ports personally so

We’re gonna take a look at those they’re not they’re not expensive at all so I’m gonna need some iron plates some essential filters some brass plates we have a few essential filters too so I’m gonna need what four more if I want to make three of those see silver wooden

Gold and we just got a quest complete the alchemical constructs that was I guess just for okay getting to I chemical constructs not crucible that’s fine we are gonna use that though so I did forget to get two pieces of gold or two more pieces of gold okay so there we

Go we’re getting our feed filters and then for the vents alchemical construct in the center the V filters right there and then we need iron plates there we go 130 vapour craft so this is gonna put down in it but that’s okay so there’s three auxilary venting ports awesome and

Look at that RV is still holding strong look how fast it regenerates whenever it’s regenerating across nine chunks right it’s pretty quick it’s gonna be hard to go below probably about a thousand with this set up so I mean that’s there’s not much point in worrying about it too much right now

Okay so now that that’s done let’s grab our Tommy I’m a cinch a smeltery it’s that visual thug and I’m gonna have to go get my Alembic out in just a moment okay so our essentia stuff I’m actually going to put the US so we’ll have a Thomas inch of snow tree

Right there then we’ll probably do some more attached to it but I want I want at least one right here and then what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna put our venting ports down you can see around the around the smeltery there are three little three little squares there and that is

The three upgrades that you could put on there okay so there is 10 alchemical constructs so we shouldn’t have to make any of those for a bit and then we need the filling essentia transfer that is the one that I want I’ll go ahead and

Place that out let’s grab it and what we can do is this thing wheel it’s all detailed there in the book right here under advanced essential transport but basically if we place this down next to a pipe or anything that gets essentia like an Olympic it’s going to take that

Essentia it’s gonna send it to water jars within 16 blocks it’s gonna go all the way to over here okay so let’s go ahead let’s just place this thing down and there we go look at that all of that tear of a is going directly into this

Worte jar and if I place another water jar up on top of it it would feed that terribie into that as well okay and then if we take we should have purity toe coming into here if we were to come over like say way over here okay and it’s

Gonna feed to this point right here so the Purdy tophi is making its way into this water jar that’s right here it’s that really all the way it’s just it’s just 132 per cobblestone right yeah okay so that’s not actually that crazy then okay so it’s gonna feed all the way to

This point all right and then I’m assuming us see there’s and then it would fade to here so I mean that entire area will be fed within but this Perdita I’m actually gonna take it I’m gonna move it over like right there and so that way we

Could have this win Olympic pumping V into lots of warded jars and then we’re going to take it a step further and we’re going to make ourselves some labels some blank labels for the jars and let’s see we’re gonna need paper we’re gonna need dye the light suddenly becomes overwhelmingly bright and burns

Your skin for four minutes sun-scorched three awesome okay so there’s 64 slime balls 64 ink sacs I’m gonna go ahead and make up a bunch of labels because I do plan on having a lot like a whole lot of jars so this will be like four stacks of labels

Chests and we got an inventory upgrade okay no use of not no use it all okay so then if we pop down to the thaumcraft area and we take our labels and we stick one on there and stick one on later that means that this jar here is always going

To be Tara and nothing but Tara V or essentia this one is always going to be Perdita and then I’ve got let’s go ahead and just place these out for now and you can still do like the Golem emptying you know if you want we may end up doing a

Little bit of golem empty but for now this filling essential transfuser is super nice and we could put another Olympic on top of that and do another filling essential transfuser and it would send you out you know but you don’t really necessarily need one like one Olympic and one filling Doran’s

Fusers pretty alright but you can do more if you want okay so right in here I’ve got some more it’s more of these so these are basically the same thing there’s a cinch of the been stored in vials vials can hold up to ten essentia in them so let’s go

Ahead I kind of want to say this is aqua let’s do aqua right there and drop a label on that this is all Terra so I can just dump this into that water jar there’s Ignace drop a label on that and basically the labels are gonna keep them

From like if I was to empty these out entirely that’s fine you know they’re always only going to accept these aspects so we don’t have to worry too much about that and then I guess we’ll just do I was to come over here and do like victus there’s some humanness

There’s motifs man this light drives me insane there some kognito and there we go we’ve emptied all of those out and then these I’m gonna I’ll see I’m gonna pull these up for now except for like one of them okay I’m gonna grab a half stack of lad and a half stack of

Bit and there is once we get into mirror magic we can make this even better but for right now we’ll just have like all of our jars laid out right here and then once we get into mirror magic we can come spread it out even more

Bellows two venting ports from now I think that’ll be okay I don’t think we’re actually gonna notice much difference in the amount of flux that’s generated flux isn’t really that big of a concern in truth because the tight the generates it’s a little bit more involved in thaumcraft six for tight to

Start than it is in thaumcraft five it’s a little bit easier to generate flux and in turn tight but it’s harder for it to start because generally it’s gonna start from a mob and the mob will like the mobs not going to spawn down here it’s actually gonna spawn at the highest Y

Level if I recall which for us it’s in water but in theory we could just build like a ceiling up at the very very top like it like 255 and the mobs would spawn up there and they wouldn’t really ever bother us down here so I mean we

Could we could deal with them that way and we honestly we probably will end up dealing looking that way because I’d like to farm them a little bit later on we’ll get more into that later on but tents not too big of a concern though in truth and we’re actually before too long

We’re going to be dealing with it but let’s see there’s a quest here for the arcane bellows we’ll go ahead and turn that in and the end the auxilary add-ons we’ve done the venting port we do have to do a slurry pump for that quick so we’ll get into that a little bit

Later on and we got another physic resonator from that chest okay now one thing I went out just a minute ago and I found basically I went out and found a crimson Colt just one of those like riffs that we’ve come across they’re pretty common look for him at night of

Course and anyways some of those guys spawned I scanned one and I got the entry for the crimson Colt and then it leads into the Crimson writes and for this we need a crimson writes book and so let’s go ahead I’ve actually got some

Of these I had quite a few of them I’ve actually given some away and I still have I’ve kept one alright here I’ve already scanned it and everything let’s go ahead and complete this there we go and there is delving into the Eldridge we’re going to need observation eldritch

Observation fundamentals and we need to examine something native to the void and it’s Tabo level warp and so to unlock that what we’re going to do is get ourselves a void seed and they aren’t craftable within this pack there’s there’s a couple ways that we can go

About this we can either push onto progression to get lawns to light but you can at least normally I’m assuming it still works like normal you can get this by by closing the rifts that are going to start spawning if you get a lot

Of tight or a lot of flux an area that’s what this place is for is we just want to tank this like crazy let’s see I need more I need lots more flux we got 46.8 oh that’s what we’re looking for right here oh and there is there’s Fabrice tight

Right there and we got some video MV crystals just really quickly I think it’s about time that we paint something out real good alright so just toss it all under the water and these will be useful later on because we can use these for making additional like the flux

Crystals we can use it for those which will prove to be useful okay we’re 5750 ight yeah what about to start getting some nasty effects here oh and we have our very first painted chicken yeah now we’re at seventy three point nine seventy four okay it says something

That’s actually pretty cheap Vidia man alien s they’re not actually that difficult but instability is very high so we’re gonna have to take that into account next episode when we get into that now flux clean up we’re gonna need a file of video mess Sencha which isn’t

These big fungal forests I do need to set up on my cell iam farm but these big fungal forests inside of the Twilight forest are actually a really great source for video but if we take a look here see all of your sources are right there

Mycelia ms one each once we get that island up and going Oh Carbonite has 26 in is that’s actually really easy method for it because we can get we can set up a spawner system for Carmen for making karma night yeah we could do that we might actually just do that instead of

Even bothering with the island too much because that actually got a bit of karma night but there’s a thing to go over here but there’s a mob that drops it’s like a little bug and I can’t remember what it’s called but it drops the that karma night so what you’d actually set

Up a spawner and I mean that’s really good really good source of video so that might be worth doing actually but for now mycelium should be alright so let’s go ahead and we’re just gonna toss in let’s do like 32 and then there we go and we have the bellows which is

Going to make processing a little bit faster for right now okay we’re getting tear of a that’s fine and the nice thing is once you get this stuff unlocked like once we can start making these causality collapses which they’re not all that expensive the instability we can deal

With I’m gonna keep expanding on will see right now it’s registering is stable I’m gonna have to test it I would think this would at least bump it up to like very stable but I don’t know we’ll see but really at this point I don’t think

Flux is gonna be too much of an issue for us we use the island for as long as we need to do it now we don’t really need it anymore and we’re not too far from upgrading the essential smeltery again not too far okay so there’s the

Video so let’s go ahead give that a second to register and we’ll grab a file of that and flux cleanup there we go I’ve managed to find a way to turn pure flux in the aura into flux essentia okay so the flux condenser we’re gonna need the complex arcane mechanisms

Morphic resonator okay that’s actually not too bad it requires 500 V and then the lattice is pretty cheap overall okay so we’ll start getting into that before too long as well that stuff’s gonna be useful because basically this flux that’s in this chunk this 34.2 we can actually start removing that from the

Chunk so with the cause yeah with the causality collapse err will probably will actually might make that next episode just so that we can get we should be able to get some void seeds using this we might make one of these next episode but we will start probably

Moving into the flux condenser or we might get that up and going next step so depending on where we’re at on flux we can actually start keeping like this chunk clean and if we have any issues in this chunk we can keep that clean right

Now this is at oh this is actually all the same chunk so this one’s this is this is the same what is this chunk behind it 20 it’s not too bad but we can actually start using that stuff to clean it up so next episode we’ll get into

Infusion and flux cleanup and we might we might spend a little bit time working on getting some void seeds and I will see cuz they’re really not they’re not too bad to get so because I mean most everything I mean I need to do this I

Metal with the arc furnace so I mean that’s a poss ability I mean we could knock that out pretty easy I wonder if scanning the US would work though no the void metal might but I know for a fact that the void seeds would so we’ll just find on getting void Said’s next

Episode maybe we could get a recycler and get some void metal that way but we will get an arc furnace but not just yet um anyways I think I’m gonna wrap up this episode of here like I said next episode we’ll continue on with a bit more thaumcraft and start getting into
