Guess I can say it like this first we’ll go for YouTube versus twitch and then I guess like kick versus twitch and then basically kick versus twitch and YouTube so we’ll start with like kick versus switch so for uh kick versus twitch as you guys may know you know kick looks exactly like

Twitch even though they’re secular claiming like you know the code and all that’s different I don’t know whatever they were saying uh people are saying that twitch is like open source when some people are saying uh twitch is not open source so we’ll see how that goes

Uh I have made me a kik account and I’ve also like uh what you call it I uh I’ve looked into kick I have to be careful opening up kick on stream because the there are some things I can’t like it shows a lot of weird stuff on there on the front page

So that okay not this time though okay that’s good it’s showing more game streamers one versus what I’ve been seeing recently because what I’ve been seeing recently has been like I can’t show it on YouTube streams a while again or something that will happen so I have to be careful so

Uh I’ll just go to my my Kik page so to talk about kick this is what kick looks like if you guys don’t know and uh quite literally you know it looks like twitch essentially I got all my stuff set up there I am planning on doing a

Kickstream just like one to see how it is and I’m probably gonna do it probably somewhere between the morning or the afternoon definitely not the evening or whatnot which are I guess the peak times as the streamer because for one yeah I’m a dad I can’t I I can’t be up well I’m

Not gonna be apartment like that but I will like stream during the day that’s why I like doing morning streams and afternoon streams but you know eventually they’ll have to come to an end I’ll talk about that in a minute but you know uh you know it doesn’t look that bad

Uh but at the same time there are a lot of things wrong with Kik from what I’ve been hearing uh people getting can get like like taken off of their platform whenever they want to Kit can change your username whenever they want to there’s no contract to be Affiliated or

Verified which is I guess the version of partner on there so that’s those are just things you got to keep in mind when it comes to kick um but I mean it looks I do want this platform just to see that way like YouTube and uh twitch could possibly you know make

Improvements to their uh their sites oh YouTube need to make more improvements on Twitch but you know I mean like all actually tools you can do is like you know get better servers for the um what you call it for the you know higher quality streams uh they need to

Definitely work in that 50 50 split and they definitely need to work on their rules I might say that that tools shouldn’t be unmoderated like kick because roles are important it’s so dumb things don’t be happening on live streams like YouTube gots rules but you know the moderation on YouTube isn’t as good

Either but you can still do stuff on YouTube’s moderation stuff on chat just um it’s not on the same level as twitches and kick they have little to no moderation at all so you can’t really ban people out there if they’re going to the deep end to do some very uh

Uh demon time things you know what I’m saying so uh that that’s the thing with kick that I don’t like the moderation’s very bad but the quality looks really good I can’t do 1440p streams like I can do here on YouTube but I can stream a pretty good bit rate

Uh it’s not 10 000 but I can stream at least eight thousand bit rate uh 1080 pieces dfps so that’ll be great for fast-paced games you know like like Call of Duty and whatnot but uh you know miles appearance on Kik is that I I’m I’m I just want to see

Where it goes will I ever swish your kick like everyone else is doing no no it wouldn’t be smart for me personally to go but if you guys want to move the kick I will say definitely give it a try definitely do a stream or two on there

Um to see if you can like it if you don’t like it just you know you don’t gotta stay on kick you don’t gotta you don’t gotta do everyone else is doing uh everyone else is doing what they’re doing because they see an opportunity to capitalize off of um you know getting

Their their name out there which is also a smart idea you know because this this platform isn’t too heavily populated in some areas so you could definitely grow your name out there I’ve seen a lot of people hit affiliate pretty fast on here I have yet to hear affiliate I only got

Three followers on Kik that’s why I’m I’m still debating if I want to stream on there or not I was going to do a stream on here yesterday but I try like putting the chat on there my activity feed all the OBS and disappeared the next day so I’m like hmm

So if I really do a kickstream I really have to do just one kick stream literally because I’m not gonna go on OBS and keep putting in the information over and over again that’s kind of annoying to me and I’m gonna worry about that with twitch or YouTube so I don’t

Unders I guess it’s because it’s not fully supported on OBS or something like that so that could be why but I don’t know like I said I think right now for Kik they need they have a lot to improve from can they stay around long term not 100 sure about that

And I want to give my reasons to why because I don’t want to give no uneducated answers and then you guys go with that possibly and then you know the other thing happens I don’t want to give my full input on how long this platform is going

To stay around for because I don’t know it could be it might it might last longer than Mr halves probably or probably not a 95 5 split is something that’s definitely really good for the Creator and really good for the um viewer because imagine like you’re

You’re putting in 4.99 a month to your favorite content creator and that’s your money right 50 of that money is going to Twitch we’re on Kick only five percent is going at the kick and now if I was going to the career that because you’re putting your money

In for the Creator not really much for the platform and we’ll just like grabbing a huge cut for something because for one twitch has a terrible mobile experience so definitely don’t use it for that because people try to sub and all that through their phones most of the time desktop is

Where it’s at and like I can’t really say much more about like like it’s just the money thing the money aspect for creators I’m not gonna sit here and like say that creatives can’t get their bag gets your bag a lot of people are struggling getting their money doing

This online stuff especially if you’re on the smaller side look at me I’m literally not monetized on YouTube to stream at all but I do it because I love doing this I and fan funding might come sooner or later to where I have members and I can have super thanks Super Chat I

Can get monetized basically off of my own YouTube shorts and then my live streams just not my YouTube videos yet because I’m my YouTube Partner I want a YouTube Partner then my videos can be monetized essentially but having super chat all that would definitely help me build a financial thing with my YouTube

Brand loyalty that people normally do I only do this because I’ve been on YouTube for the longest time I’ve only been on Twitch for four years 2018 is when I started on Twitch and I learned how stream culture went well I already know how stream culture went because of

Like earlier than that when um Twitter’s in its earlier stages I wasn’t around when Justin TV was around but I was around when like 2015 twitch was around or 2016 twitch that’s when I kind of got into twitch and being like a viewer that I went two years later to be a streamer

But I used all in all to have from twitch and I put it over to YouTube because I’ve always been a favor in favor of YouTube more because it’s what I prefer I’m not loyal to YouTube If I got a contract to go somewhere else one

Day if I know I’m small now but I’m saying if I was bigger one day and I got a contract to go somewhere I will take that contract because I’m not loyal to YouTube at the end of the day but if I had a contract from YouTube

That would be cool you know what I’m saying but uh we got a long way to go until that happened so I’m being patient as heck trust I’m impatient as heck for this fan funding thing for the longest time now since September yeah since September now we’re still

Waiting for fan funding so I’ve been really patient for this because I really believe that YouTube should we can go somewhere and there are videos out there and tweets out there where people are saying oh it feels like YouTube has completely given up on Youtube gaming completely does it feel like that sort

Of like I will say it kind it kind of is that but at the same time I don’t want to give intent negativity and just say that so who knows but in favor of like what you call it with uh Kik versus twitch and YouTube I help kick succeeds so you

Two and both twitch does better because I want all three platforms to succeed it’s good to have competition and it’s good to have more streaming platforms out there because it’s better for people who are trying to become creators trying to become streamers and consecrates and whatnot and having more platforms that

Does these type of things helps but we’re not doing Facebook gaming though no no sir no they’re screwing over the creators but that’s all I want to say for this um I mean that’s all really like I want I want kick to do better so that way you know YouTube and

With what they did and I learned a lot from a lot of people talkers to do skits and stuff like that over time I hate Tick Tock at first now I don’t hate to talk as much where some people are still on the whole oh I hate Tick Tock because it gives people

Um you know what you call it like people like uh slowly slower like lower attention span whatever you call it um I could still watch like one hour videos and stuff like that if I wanted to like movies and all that it doesn’t ruined mine but hey if it just I feel

Like what it means is that people just gravitate to that type of contents what they prefer now because not everyone’s going to be comfortable what everyone does forever just saying but yeah that’s what I gotta say and I appreciate everyone for tuning into the stream today uh we’re gonna be alive
