here’s the funniest thing I can’t remember why like I had a Brilliant idea this morning when I woke up I was like oh that means I need to make the lava Creator from create like using the vanilla mechanic to get drip Stone which creates lava and now I literally I cannot remember why I need lava I can’t remember but I figure by The time I get some dripstone and come back I will know possibly why I thought I needed lava I don’t know and the funny part is I need it I even need lava to begin the whole process like I need like at least maybe six to 12 Source blocks so we’re headed For according to our little Nature’s Compass negative 1376 and and negative oh our Trader friend what’s up Bob how are you this morning sir what do you have you have Cactus that’s nice I don’t know if I on camera it’s the whole point of streaming do all the fun sitting in a hole digging a hole stuff with an audience yes I want to do RS Novo I also want to start on the create mod and I thought okay so there are a couple of Things I want to do what are you Limestone such a pretty block um words are hard this morning okay for the create mod so for power we have limited choices so I’m going to use the power mod which requires a bunch of iron oh that’s why I was going to do lava it Also requires lava to craft the basic thing let me write that down you need lava because of power power so the basic um crafting component for this mod is something called dialectric paste and the cheapest way to make it is to use a lava bucket with Coal and clay and I thought oh I can just make infinite lava with the vanilla mechanic but I have to have dripstone to do that and then it’s great to start the create mod because I need another really important piece of create and that is we going the right direction yes that Is um if we have RF tools which we do then one of the easiest ways to share power across Dimensions so I can put Power anywhere I don’t have to run cords or cables is to make dimensional cells and a dimensional cell needs a prismarine Shard and a prismarine chart I can Either go attack an ocean monument and mine it that’s never going to happen but another way to do it is if I take Lappy and run it in front of the fan from create behind a piece of Soul Sand it’s on fire it’s called haunting and it turns Lappy which you Can find anywhere into prismarine you don’t I don’t need a lot of these I need less way less than a stack of them and look see I have like 62 Lappy right here so that’s the other reason I want to get into the create mod you know haven’t been lighting up This uh manual wait how much is the saw there yeah there was a shaft choke in there it’s why I said it shaft you like you do um what was I saying what how much is the saw saw is the easiest way to strip logs I still need to andesite casing to do it oh we need kelp dried kelp it’s a good thing we live in the ocean okay one thing at a time let’s just do some of these manually for anyone who doesn’t know um and a sight casing from the create Mod we’re going to do a half a stack of wood that should be 32 so you take logs you set them down you strip them L of shafts and stripping in today’s episode not that I’m complaining so strip all the wood and then you take your anide alloy and you just right Click the strip log and you get the ight the achievement the end of sight age and if you have torches in your off hand they stick to the logs come back here pick those up nice now we have anite casings beautiful and there’s a whole way in create to automate That I need iron sheets for a fan so we have to automate the stamp bar or the mechanical press my bad uh which means I need thank goodness we have an iron farm that’s all I got to say have all the iron right C oh hello sir what have you and just going to do some of this out here I have a chest I Do cuz I want or iron um words Hoppers and some barrels like you always need barrels will create and somehow I’ve lost two of my scaffolding what El that’s enough Hoppers enough Hoppers Spy only need the Hoppers because I’m going to uh automate our kelp cooking really Quick oh and I think it would be better if this were a smoker the camel seriously makes the craziest noises so smoker Barrel hopper into the barrel where’ my smoker go there it is smoker on top Hopper into the top of the smoker Barrel on top of this popper put all the Kelp I’ll go in there put a little fuel all of my charcoal man making finally coming in handy and that will just cook up our kelp nice while we wait I love it and much faster than a um furnace would have done that’s why the smoker was important put flower back Down and I guess we’ll sleep because reasons welcome to those of you just joining playing some chosen modded adventures and I’m working on a couple of create Contraptions we want to do some bulk washing of Lappy so that I can get prismarine and we want to set up a tree farm But in order to do all that I need an encased fan and an encased fan needs iron sheets and in this pack the create mod is the only way to get those you know we need more Soul Sand but I think once we have can’t I haunt sand and get Soul Sand pretty sure I can yes I can so as soon as we have this set up with one piece of Soul Sand I can make more Soul Sand it’s very exciting uh but to start which means should we use Wind a windmill bearing is very cheap stone and a slab I’m sure I yeah SL here we go let’s use windmill power for our do I need chassis no not really on here chassis we do radial Chassy okay all this will make sense I Promise So dude I need you to not be in my way thank you I want a vertical gear boox which means I need a gear boox turn it into a vertical gear box and so do we care where this is probably not we stick that there and then I’m going to stick Some poles on top of it and the beautiful thing about create is I think I can yeah pill her up look zombie busy here then we put I don’t I don’t know that we need to be up this way let’s see put our woodmill bearing down and then we stick some linear Chassis actually technically only need one but I like having them go up the middle and then if when were smart she would actually use scaffolding to get up here but she didn’t ouch so we’ll put scaffolding there for now and oh I can already tell like this is The nested nestin of needing to make a whole bunch of farms like I have to have a sheep farm now clearly which means I need observers like we can do that too real quick what we got I got like half an hour we can do all the things windmill Uh that’s what we’re looking for one mill sail this wool sticks and alloy just make 30 30 sounds great and need to stick them onto the sides uh two four six eight that’s good I love Scot thing okay and of course all mine have to go vertical the only reason I do this is to bring that power down to the ground where I can use it so it’s um cising along we should probably make a few key things we need to make the wrench we need to make the Goggles and we need to make um the meters the speedometer and the stress ometer okay wrench first three golden sheets let’s grab some gold and let our Stamper do its thing I would sleep but I think we’re fine here let’s good enough I need you to Work on gold now please yeah we got 13 nope oh and the sun’s coming up how lovely now as soon as we have kelp I’ll put chest in a conveyor belt on both ends of it so that we can automate that in fact we should have kelp now we Do so if I do like this I get mechanical belt and I can go like a so and then put going cheap right now I’m not wasting any of my casings or anything oh we need to do I have any way to make this belt go figure we’ll figure it Out and I need an anite funnel one of those wow I’ve got inventory issues because of the rats and the glue that I don’t need and the bucket that I don’t need and the extra wood and the wool there we go oh and this One can go out and that one could go in and if we had some more gear boxes make we can make all the gear boxes uh we’re just going to use nope we need a vericle one or in case chain drive these are cheaper we’ll do like half of them Vertical just means they can so you use gearboxes to go around corners if your corner is going from if you need to go around a corner down or around the corner up use vertical one and if you need to go around the corner sideways like we’re actually going to do right Here use a regular one so it just turns a corner left to right but it does change the direction of the rotation and we want to go the other way no we’ll just make it go this way it’ll be fine so it’ll come out there I am holding shift makes that Arrow change Directions on the sides of the barrel so if I put a bunch of iron in here we’ll go down the belt the Stamper will stamp it and it’ll keep traveling and go into this Barrel very slowly but over time like do we care about slow not really we’ll make Plenty and we’re going to need a lot so I’m going to Chuck like a stack and a half and it’ll slowly just chunk away at that perfect now wrench yeah now we can use the wrench we want to change uh the orientation of a block or change the direction that those funnels Work and then I think goggles also need Gold let’s see yes one golden sheet so let’s check some gold in here I’m sure we’re going to need this so it’ll do the gold first or next see it’s all polite it’s waiting until that one’s done and if I sped this up this would happen a lot faster but that’s Fine it’s doing its thing free Power just cut a little water you don’t like the look of the water you can either lower it or do what I do sometimes which is cover everything in trap Doors a spinning create enity oh no I didn’t mean to do that don’t want to stop it I want to do there there now we won’t fall in the hole okay do we have our gold yes let’s make some goggles make glass and string it’s crafting with Winnie day um glass We now we make the goggles because oh is there a cosmetic spot for that no just have to put them on our head that way I can see things about the Contraptions that I wouldn’t normally be able to see um like if I look at this block the water wheel it tells me Because I’m wearing the goggles it tells me it’s generating 256 kinetic kinetic energy or stress units and SPID this is what we want need a compass and an andesite casing do I have randomly have a compass from I don’t think so okay seems a shame that I don’t have more Compass lying Around let’s make some they are just iron with red stone in the middle they do stack so if we can make I’m going to make two because if you put one one in a crafting table you get a stress ometer so we get a speedometer and a stress ometer out of It so this tells me it’s slow it’s only going 8 RPM and that one I’ve lost the other one on there it tells me how many stress units are being used by that machine so there’s low stress on it which means I could speed it up and there’s still 128 units that Could be used for another Contraption we needed something else I’m actually going to put all of our plates in there it’s a place to keep them okay bulk haunting means we need a fan which is why we made the plates G to do this before we okay create and Eng cased Fan I’ll add that to our list here so four plates yay and then I have my Soul Sand and I have a flint steel and I’m going to need a bunch of glass cuz I would actually like to make some of the class from create because you can also make a glass Trapdoor which is genius so I need framed glass how do I make fr framed glass from create you just take any glass and you get framed glass in a really that’s magical nice okay we have a bunch of frame glass I remember those trap doors I made If we take the framed glass with the trapo we get glass trap doors how cool is that it’s favorite thing ever okay uh bulk haunting we’re just going to do this um Super you’re really slow so we’re going to speed this up like quite a bit how much power are we getting where’s our little magic things that tell us speedometer and stress ometer this says 2,000 beautiful beautiful beautiful so to speed up a create Contraption you start with big wheels And go to little wheels and the more times you do that the faster it gets so if I put a speedometer down here you can see it’s going up four RPM if I move that speedometer over here it’s going at 16 so we have uh increased the speed two times so 200% speed increase and I think the fan needs a pretty significant um speed increase I’m actually going to put these over here I’m afraid we’re running out of room And oh I just need to be far enough away and I have run out of baby things let me get some more there they are but I am actually going to sleep because I can’t see Phoenix I’m sorry I’m just catching up on chat um it is the cre cre mod yes You can speed it up and this is how so by going by making sure that the source of your rotation has a large Cog wheel and then putting a small Cog wheel on that the small Cog wheel is now spinning at twice the speed of the large One and then you can do the same thing again so the source of my rotation is now this small Cog wheel and if I attach a large Cog wheel to it and then another small one this small one is now going two times faster than The original and if we do that one more time the source of my rotation is this small Cog wheel and I’ve just extended it with a shaft to another large Cog wheel now this small Cog wheel is going four times faster than the original and We can see that if we put a speedometer it’s going 32 RPM revolutions per minute the original one is going four I actually think 32 is too fast so we’re going to just use it at 16 so 16 RPM it’s a great speed for an encased fan the really the the Only there two things in create that are important one is how to change speed using cogs and then the other is how to turn Corners using the vertical and regular gear boxes that’s it all you’re trying to do is move um this rotational just trying to move the Rotation around to the place you need it so if you want to go from up and down you use a vertical you use a vertical gearbox and if you want to go left and right around a corner you use a regular gearbox so I’m just going to bring these all down So yeah those are vertical gear boxes so they because they have a shaft underneath it transposes the power like you can stick something to it and all of these are spinning because the one on top of it can um send that rotation down through the block so I want to use this Rotation where that shaft is rotating and I want to use it to run an encased fan because that encased fan can do a bunch of stuff and I want it to go a different direction cuz right now it’s sucking instead of blowing yes okay you can see so this is The other thing you can use a gearbox to change the direction of the rotation so you can see the particles how they’re moving away from the fan it’s because when you spin a fan counterclockwise it pushes items like me see it’s pushing me woo and if I change that Direction by just letting it rotate in its original form you can see how it’s sucking things in so the direction so it’s pulling me I’m not touching anything it’s pulling me towards the fan because the Fan’s going clockwise and I want it to push because I actually want it to wash um some Lappy and we’re actually going to make a little station for it to do that I’m just going to make a little holder so that if I drop a block there it doesn’t go anywhere it gets stopped and the process I’m trying to do is called haunting there’s a bunch of Different things you can do but the haunting you basically just put a soulfire in front of the fan and now everything in front of it gets haunted like me it gives me slowness which is terrible but if I go get Lappy Lappy Lazuli and I put it in front of that fan that’s blowing across the fire and hopefully don’t pick this up then that Lappy is going to be converted into prismarine hopefully Someday do I have it close enough yeah it should work within two Blocks yeah bulk haunting do I need a space in between oh no there it goes so it’s converted that whole stack got converted to 50 prismarine Shard and seven prising crystals which is awesome you can also this is the other reason I was doing it Is I don’t want to go back in the Nether and get more Soul Sand but I have some sand here wow why don’t I have more sand I must have cooked it all in the glass I could take some regular sand and put it in Here and give it a minute so the process the more items you ask it to process the longer it’s going to take cuz creates a very manually and physical mod there so it converted our sand into Soul Sand which is great cuz I need it for a whole bunch of other stuff right Now and you can automate this you can actually set up a conveyor belt um to move in front of this to automatically like process a bunch of stuff If This Were nether rack with a regular fire you can cook your ores you can also do it with a campfire and cook Your chicken and stuff and you can If This Were spinning faster this process would happen faster So the faster your fan spins the faster it processes items very excited about this prismarine yeah that’s way cheaper than letting the trader trade for it sweet okay and we’re running it off The windmill so I’ll probably improve the windmill off camera what effect do I have oh my food gives me absorption nice very nice very nice so those are little beginning create Contraptions I should probably process more iron since create requires a heck of a lot of these plates let Me put away a couple of Items also that zinc is going to be very important oops there I can just process all the plates excellent yeah so create I think um do JoJo the awesome is a YouTuber who has a really great video on kind of the really the basics of what the create mod Is and what you do with it it’s it does everything other mods do like um mods that let you process ores and get XP and convert one thing to another um I actually have another series uh with the Direwolf 20 the 1.9 mod pack and I’m in the middle of doing Aot a lot of the create automation for that and so that I go through some of those machines step by step too and everything you can make and create can be automated too like the other thing I wanted to make was a saw and set up a tree farm but I think That’s going to have to wait until the next time we’re together because we are out of time I’m actually overtime for today but thank everybody very much for watching uh it
