Okay, quick disclaimer here. Unlike the rest of the bosses from Blue Skies, this one I have only encountered once, and such the gameplay seen here is my first and only time fighting this boss. So yeah, .. I’m aware I’m playing like absolute crap for the first half here, but trust me. I searched high and low for blinding dungeons and Jesus Christ, I bumped up my world size file by about 200,000kb, and only found one. Considering I also regularly save backups due to my fear of file corruption, i’m genuinely convinced my storage is 5% filled up with this damned minecraft mod content, lmao. So yeah. Deal with it.

Anyway, that aside, this is a pretty fun bossfight. Having an entire fight focused solely on one threat without any annoying minions is definitely something i’m up for after sixteen minutes with those bloody owls. It can get pretty tense in the second half with all the revamped attacks, and learning all the visual ques and sound effects are exactly what a boss should make you do. Great stuff, though the fact that I encountered more poison dungeons than blinding dungeons in the Everdawn is literally beyond me, lmao.

If you’re struggling on this boss, .. well it’s pretty easy honestly, but here’s some tips.

[Tips:] o Since regular overworld ores are considerable weakened here, always remember to use Aquite or Diopside equipment. Or the purple ore variant i never used and can’t be bothered to find the name of because the blue skies wiki doesn’t even list it. o Don’t eat unless the alchemist has just peformed an attack. You’ll need to be on guard at all times so you can shield yourself from his arrows. o Learn the ques. Tinkling means the arrows, crackling means the rocks. o Be careful with the fountains during phase 2, since the alchemist can turn them into lava. Don’t pull a me and do what I did at 2:45.
