What’s up everyone how you’re doing the blue ned here and welcome back everyone to another minecraft japanese build tutorial now today guys we’re gonna be building this japanese style bridge and i gotta say i really love the design of this one with the acacia logs and the dark Prismarine roof the colors just blend so well together and overall guys i think it turned out really cool now we’ve got a nice big area here for walking under it’s a nice kind of a large style bridge and you could probably expand this pretty much as far As you wanted to you can make this as long as you want or as short as you want but overall guys i think i really like this design so with that being said guys let’s take a look at what we’re going to be using to build this okay guys the resources are fairly Simple to gather up for this one other than the dark prism ring so for this one we’re going to be using some stripped acacia wood acacia stairs and slabs some dark prismarine slabs spruce slabs some oak fences fence gates buttons and then some lighting of your choice i’m going To be going with the lanterns and that’s pretty much it guys so with that being said let’s get building okay guys just to give you an idea of the layout for this bridge so we’ve got a 17 block gap between the pillars so the red blocks are gonna be the one Block pillars the blue blocks are gonna be a five block gap which is going to be the width for the bridge and then we’re gonna have the yellow which is gonna be 17 blocks okay so it’s going to be 19 by seven in total so if you need to pause the video to Take a screenshot or anything be sure to do that now guys but with that being said let’s get building okay guys before you get started the first thing you want to do is set up your pillars for your bridge now remember there needs to be a 17 block Gap between the pillars on each side of the bridge so really this bridge is not going to fit over anything wider than 17 blocks for your river so if you’ve got a larger river you want to either find a smaller spot where you can actually put The bridge or you’re going to have to work out a way to expand it across now for this video guys we’re going to start over on this side here and as you can see i’ve already got a couple of pillars in so basically what i’ve done here is i’ve Put in a two block for the striptecation wood like this okay so we’re two blocks above the water then on the bottom half here on this bottom block we’re gonna place five slabs on the top half across here like this and then we’re gonna do another two Block high pillar now again make sure the pillar is two blocks high and make sure that it is two blocks above the water so your first one wants to be above the water if you’re building in your water you won’t count until you start your first block here okay so just Make sure you do that correctly then just for measurement guys you don’t need to place this you want to make sure you’ve got a 17 block gap all the way over to the other side okay so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 and then we’re gonna start our other pillar okay so let’s go ahead and make sure we’ve got our other pillar so we’re gonna bring it up from the water once we get to the water height here We’re gonna go one and two okay then we’re gonna get our spruce slabs on the top half of the bottom block we’re gonna place five here and then do another pillar here then if you put blocks here like this you can get rid of these for the moment Because we’re not gonna need those there right now that we’re all set up let’s start doing a bit of building so on the top block here we’re going to go one two three like this okay with our stripped acacia wood one two three like this Place one on top one on top and then one two three one on top one two three one on top let’s repeat that over on this side Okay you should now be left with a five block gap in the center so let’s join the tops of these so one two three four five and we’re gonna do the same on this one perfect now let’s break the block right in the center there of the five and what we’re Gonna do is drop down into the water and we’re literally just going to build a pillar and raise it all the way up until we are in line like this let’s do exactly the same on the opposite side Okay perfect now starting over on one of the sides of the bridge you want to start from where this block is and you want to raise it by six so one two three four five six okay leave a two block gap go on to this one here and do the same thing raising It by six leave a two block gap raise this one by six two block gap raise this one by six two block gap raise this one by six and basically on all of the gaps across so leave two block gap all the way across and just raise it by six each time Just like that and then we’re going to go ahead and place two joining each pillar together across the tops just like this okay now go ahead and repeat that on the opposite side as well Okay once you’re done let’s go ahead and join the pillars across sideways so across the bridge here we’re gonna fill five blocks across here with the acacia wood and we’re gonna bring them across on every single pillar Okay once you’ve done that guys we’re gonna start working on a little bit of a floor so we’ve got somewhere to to sort of place our feet so first of all right on this edge here we’re gonna place a slab here then one up and then one up again okay Then we’re gonna place another one here then we’re gonna go one up one one across and then one two three four five then we’re gonna go two two and one down one down okay just like that and then all you’re gonna do here is literally just expand These all the way across until they get to the opposite side here okay so just bring them all the way across like this joining up to the pillar on the other side Okay guys once you’re done let’s start working on the underneath of the bridge down here so what we’re gonna do here is literally start from the side here and place an acacia slab here two on this gap here then we’re gonna place one here and then a full block in there A full block and then a slab and basically repeat what we’ve done on that side so two here and one here then we’re gonna place an upside down stair here and an upside down stair here and then place some oak fences all the way down in the water like this just to Look like a little bit more support Something like that now we’re gonna go ahead and on each side we’re gonna place two fences across these little gaps just like this you could use the acacia fence if you want but i’m trying to just break it up a little bit because of all Of the um all of the orange and then around the other side guys let’s go ahead and do exactly the same as we’ve done on that side so starting off with the underneath of the bridge here Okay that’s looking good and then we’re gonna go ahead and get in our fences right now that we’ve done that guys we’re going to put some fences across the top as well And then we’re going to grab out k sharp trapdoors like this and we’re going to go ahead and place them on here so one on the top half there one on the top half there and do that on every gap Okay once you’ve done it on that side guys as always let’s repeat it around this side as well so we’re gonna place in the fences And the trapdoors All right that’s looking cool now one last little bit of detail before we start getting in the roof guys if you want to you can go ahead and put in some buttons i like to put like three across here three across here five through the center three here and then three here So it kind of blends with the shape of the arch and i think i’m gonna leave it at that i’m gonna go and do the same on this side so go three here three here five three and three and then around this side here guys if You wanted to you could go ahead and place one on every other block like this across the top i wouldn’t do more than that i think that’s probably more than enough something like so Okay and i think that looks pretty good right let’s start on the roof then so the roof is a little bit of an awkward shape guys but i’m gonna go ahead and try and explain it the best i can so before we start guys the first thing We do gonna do is get our stripped acacia wood and we’re gonna place one on all four corners of the build okay so one here one here here and over here right now we’ll start with one side and we’ll work our way to the other side So if we start from the center on top of this pillar here let’s place one here then we’re gonna go one two one underneath one in front there’s one at the side one the side of that one and then the same on this side place it one here one here One here and we’re literally just gonna make a stair here so we’re gonna place one here and then one here one at the back one there now we’re gonna place two across here and two across here on the opposite there’s one at the back there and then we’re gonna go one two here Keep one in front of that one as well do the same over here so one here one in front and then two across here Then we’re gonna go down by one again and then put one across here One here one in front one across to here then place one on that top bit of the corner okay now the next step is actually pretty simple guys we’re basically gonna repeat this exactly the same pattern except except we’re gonna be half a block lower so let’s start by placing in a block Here and then here break that one and put one back then we’re gonna press one next to it as you can see we’re half a block down now bring it over break that one there place one here one in front break the one behind and then just put It back at the top there do the same across here like this and then you want to break that one and then finally this one here break that one and just put that one back and let’s repeat that over this side as well so again from this one here Let’s go one down one across two across break that one put one back one underneath here bring it out and then break the one behind then we’re gonna place one here one in front break the one behind put that block back put one there one here one here Break the little one behind one there then one underneath here one in front break that one and put the slab behind okay that’s looking good right let’s place one here then one here and then we’re gonna place one here one up and then break that one underneath Then on this side here we’re gonna bring one down to there let’s place one here and then one on here okay that’s looking good now from here we’re gonna go on to here place one there place one underneath one in front and let’s break that one and Put that back and place another one here place one in here one here and one here i hope that makes sense guys it’s a little bit confusing but hopefully you can see the shape that we’re going with okay right that’s looking pretty good now gonna actually have to get rid of These two buttons for the minute and what we’re gonna do here is go one two and three and then just bring those across like so Right okay that’s looking pretty good now let’s repeat what we’ve done on this corner over on this corner here so first of all place one here one here then we’re gonna bring one up one more so let’s put one there one there and bring it over and we can get rid of that We can actually keep that one there place one there one this we have three going across from the corner now for this one here guys again we’re gonna place one here one below it one down break that one and put that one back then we’re gonna place one here to Make this one two then we’re gonna put a full block there and a slab there okay break these two buttons here and we’re gonna go one two and that’s going to be the center so we go three okay and then we’re gonna actually bring that out by one Break these ones here and then bring this up like that so it steps up by one okay right that is looking pretty good and i think we’ve got the same now as what we’ve got over here except over here we’re just about stepping across that bit there Right okay that is looking pretty good guys so now that we got that in let’s start copying the pattern further back so where we have the blocks here we want to come up a slab higher on the the one behind it so let’s go like one up here one here Two here one here two here this bit has already been done so again just follow over to this side again just bringing it up so it’s half a block higher then we’re going to do the same thing yet again so here i’m just going to fill These blocks in here so let’s go ahead fill this all the way across so where you have this beam at a very at the side here okay just so you can see where we are we’re gonna literally just fill the back in like this okay and then just fill those two back rows In there like that okay Now we’re gonna go ahead and do the same across this one so let’s put three across here and just bring this all the way across to here until we cover that gap and then we’ll leave the rest because we’re gonna be doing the other side in a minute right now so Now we’ve got three across here let’s bring one across there like that and we’re gonna bring one across the top like this and again we’re gonna go from here all the way across to this side and then just cover with the slabs all the way across Just like that now we should be able to repeat the same pattern over on this side as well so let’s go ahead and let’s just bring our slabs across here bring them in front across this beam here and then here we just want to bring them down a little bit lower And then cover this gap here and then just put a row across here and a row across here like so making sure it’s just a single row and then this one actually here should be rang up by one more like that perfect right okay so now we’ve got down let’s Go one more so let’s go from the center here place three blocks here then two one one one then two gap two gap put it on this side here and again as you can see guys we’re only that half a block up okay that’s all we’re doing is you just Basically expanding expanding that sort of up so it looks almost like a stepping pattern okay right i think now we got all this in we need to repeat everything we’ve done over on the opposite side so guys i’m gonna go over this with you one more time because it’s a pretty difficult Pattern so let’s do it again so one here one two in front one underneath one in front of that and we’re right on that middle block at the very front then we’re going to create a stair so create one there and then two there go one back from that very front one We’re gonna go one two and then put a full block in there one two and then a full block in there then we’re gonna go one two here one and two here a slab there one there one there Go one down one here one here one here in fact we just done that wrong guys i do apologize as back up it’s supposed to be two then one two and then two okay so from the center we’ve got the stair stepping bit here for the middle three Then go two one two two okay then on the corner here we go up place one in here to even the rest of that out that looks pretty good let’s repeat that on this side guys so again we’re gonna go two one there one in front Two down here one here one in front one here and fill that one at the back then one here now let’s go ahead and bring it out by one so we’re going to place one here one across break that one and put the slab back place one here one here one here Break the one behind one here one here break that one behind put the slab back in place and then bring that one over one here bring it out break that one bring it over and then again one here one here break that one and then put the slab back Now on this corner here we’re gonna go one and then two and then we’re gonna place one full block here and bring it up like that and then we’re just gonna break that top bit for now place two across here like that angling towards the center Then we’re gonna step the back up so put two here two here one two and then we’re gonna go over to this side and go two one two two one from the corner here actually we’re gonna bring this one out by one more as well so we’re gonna Repeat what we’ve done on that side over this side let’s go like this break that back one and put that one back put one there bring it down by one break that one one here one here break that one put it back bring it over and again guys it’s just repeating that Same pattern it’s very simple here nothing too nothing too awkward it’s just following a repeated pattern all the way across just going up or down by half a slab at a time half a block at a time sorry right guys now over on this corner here we’re gonna Place one here one here we’re gonna go one on top there and one there one over and then break that one there and we’re gonna put one there break the one on the bottom there now in here guys we’re gonna place one here then one down Do the same here one here break that one there put one back one there and that will complete that little bit across the center there so you should have one two three four that’s not right oh no break that one there guys sorry we go two okay one one two One one two and then three in the center then place one here to cover up that little orange block then we’re gonna go back round here make sure we’ve done the same around here so let’s go cover that orange block bit at the side there we’re gonna place one here one here Then we’re gonna go one here and one here okay right that’s looking good let’s place two in here to repeat that pattern on the opposite side and then we’re going to bring that up just like a step all the way making sure there’s half a block Higher than the one on the level lower All the way across like that perfect okay right guys that is looking pretty good so now i think all we’re gonna do here is go one two three one two three and we’re actually going to connect that one across like that bring these ones as well basically just joining the roof from Side to side so just filling in the blocks here Just like this and then of course bring these ones over like this make sure you make them all the same height we’ll put in the extra little bit of detail in the center in just a minute let’s just go ahead and just basically level all of this off from one side to The next excellent okay now that we got that in place we’re gonna go ahead and we’re gonna just do a little bit more so first of all we’re gonna go ahead at the very top here and find the center block and place one here and one here okay That just gives us our center then we’re gonna place one more at each side like this to make a three by three square in the center then we’re gonna go one two one two then we’re gonna go place one here one here one here one here Now place one here and basically stretch it all the way down one across all of these and then on the very tip here let’s put one sticking out like so All the way back over to the other side again let’s do the same thing bringing it one block all the way down and then one sticking out there and then that is the roof guys pretty much all in place now you know now if you wanted to add any Little extra details you can i mean you could always make this a little bit more rounded coming out like this to give you a little bit more shape on there and i think it probably looks a little bit nicer like that so i’m gonna go ahead and do the same Here so let’s just go like that and then like that Okay that’s looking perfect right go ahead and get your lanterns and we’re going to place one first of all on all four corners Just like this and they should be at the perfect height where that you can actually place it on the slab because it should be a bottom half slab once you’ve done that we’re gonna go ahead and place one in the very center underneath here and then one on the next pillar here So where this pillar is we’re gonna go one over this pillar one over do the same on the opposite side so we’re gonna go one here one in the middle one here looking good and then we’re going to go ahead and place one in the middle underneath here on every pillar that we Have or every beam there we go all the way across then go ahead and get your occasion stairs place one here one here and just basically upside down against all of your beams okay and do it on both sides Just like that where you got your dark chris marine just cover it with some acacia slabs okay do that all the way across Okay there we go guys that is that all done and that is pretty much the design done guys now we did remove a couple of the buttons on the side here but if you want to now that we’ve got all of the roof in you could go ahead and put those back You can also expand the roof if you wanted to guys you could bring you could leave those buttons like that and you could go ahead and put in your crisp marine all the way in like that if you want just for it to look like it blends into The into the side a little bit more go ahead and do it as well we’ve already done it on this side so it doesn’t matter and yeah guys that’s about it i think it looks really cool i really like this design and i really feel that it fits with the oriental theme Now i know that a bunch of you have been asking me to do some tutorials on some japanese builds we’ve got a japanese torii gate over here i’ll be doing one for that soon and this beast over here is gonna be done at some point soon as well i’m gonna have To work the tutorials out for this one but this will probably be done over maybe two to three episodes it’s not going to be done in one because it’s a very big build and this would take so long to do a tutorial for in one go so I’m probably gonna do it in a two to three parts so that we can build it all up but i think this is a really cool build and hopefully you guys
