Hey everyone how you all doing my name is blue and welcome back to our minecraft medieval castle tutorial series now if you guys are new to the channel please be sure to check out the link in the description for the full tutorial playlist on how to build this castle but

Today we’re going to be heading back inside the castle and starting to take on a bit more of the interior so with that being said let’s get building okay before we head inside the castle we’re gonna just come over to this little landing over here and where we

Got the tower at the side we’re gonna make a little overhang that just comes at the side here just for a little bit of detail so what we’re gonna do where we have the second pillar here we’re gonna place a cobblestone wall on top of that we’re gonna place a

Spruce fence and then on top of that one we’re gonna place a spruce slab place another slab here one underneath one out to the front then behind it we’re gonna place one here we’re gonna come up and then we’re just gonna step it up until we reach the wall just like this

Then on the inside here we’re just going to place a slab on each one of these and then we’re going to extend it until we reach the wall just here for each one okay once you’re done let’s go ahead and just come underneath here and we’re gonna place in a lantern probably about

There just to keep it lit up underneath here and then later on we’re going to come back and do some more mob proofing around the castle because there’s a lot of dark spots in certain areas but we’ll come back and do that a little bit later on

Now we’re going to head inside the castle and we’re going to go down to the armory where we was last episode and we’re just gonna make a very small little change just something that i think looks a little bit nicer you guys don’t have to do this of course but i

Just think it’s something that’s just needed inside the armory itself all right guys now don’t get me wrong i think the armory is looking great but one thing i just think is missing is somewhere for the soldiers to get a drink should they need one so if we just

Come over to this side here i’m gonna get rid of these two um armor stands these two chests and i think we’re going to put a couple of barrels in the middle and then we’re going to crouch place a couple of our trip wire hooks on the

Front and then i think what i do is we’ll grab some flower pots let’s grab some of those quickly and i think we’ll just put some of them on the top and the side here so one here one here maybe even one over here just to look like some cups for the soldiers

To get a drink should they need one and that’s about the only change i want to make guys just a very small change but i just feel that it just looks better and it’s something i just feel it was needed inside here we ain’t got nowhere for the soldiers to get a drink

So there we go now before we get started with any main work today we’re just gonna start going around the castle and just finishing up some little details so for starters i’m gonna go ahead and just put some details on these walls i think what we’re gonna do is something

Like this so for the corner pieces we’re gonna put a flower pot in the middle like this let’s go ahead and do that on all of the corners right in the middle like this okay and only the two corners not the second one across here and here

Okay just on the two corner pieces like this once you’ve done that go ahead choose a flower or a sapling of your choice to place in the corners and while we’re there we’re going to get ourself a chest and we’re also going to get ourself an armor stand and then a choice

Of armor i’m gonna go with the never right purely because i am in creative but you guys can go ahead and use some iron or gold or something like that it really doesn’t matter so what we can do is put our sapling inside the flower pots

Then in the gap along here we’re gonna put chests to each side armor stand in the middle and then of course we’re gonna put our armor on the suit just like this and we’ll do the same in this gap here so armor stand just each side and then armor just like that

So each corner is gonna look exactly the same just like that okay so now i’m gonna go ahead and replicate the same thing on the other three corners all right guys and that just about finishes off this landing area so now we’ve got the armory which is fully

Complete in here we’ve also got this little area here for the storage system which is also complete we’ve got an empty room in the back here which we can do something with in just a moment but before we do that let’s head back to our stairway just here

And we’re going to go ahead and do something very similar here so let’s just put chests like this on these ones we’re putting our armor stands in the gap i’m gonna put some iron armor on these ones just like this just like that just to finish this one off okay now i think

Inside here it’s really awkward to work out what to do with this area but one thing that i think i’m gonna do is i’m gonna put in a pillow just here with the spruce okay so that’s just one block from that corner we’re gonna do the same on this side

Just like that this leaves us four blocks in the middle so i think on the fourth block up on this one we’re going to just break a row here and bring that over like that and i think i’m just going to leave it as that just a bit of decoration

Now i do want to put something in the middle here but i don’t know what to really do so if you guys have any ideas please let me know i was thinking maybe a water fountain maybe a little statue or maybe even just a table for the gods

That are sitting here and keeping a listen out on the um prisoners inside the dungeons which are just in here which one other thing i am that i might do guys is just add some chains in here for the lanterns um but again that’s optional guys it’s not something that

You have to do it’s just options you want to add in a couple of changes to make those lanterns hang a little bit lower now with that being said this room over here is where we’re going to be working today and this room is actually going to be a storage room

Now before we turn this into a storage room let’s just divide the room up and i can explain a bit of what we’re going to be doing so first of all let’s come to this pillar here and we’re going to leave a free block gap okay so go to

There break that one there leave a free block gap from this one here we’re gonna leave a five block gap coming backwards so in line with the door frame basically so we’ve got two three four five on the six block right there which should line up with that corner pillar now we’re gonna

Grab our smooth sandstone let’s get rid of this second pillar at the back here like this and just raise the sandstone up to the top now from here we’re gonna go one two three and then on the fourth one we’ll place another log one two three and on

The fourth one we’ll place a log now remember that this is the strip spruce log guys now in fact what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna leave that we’ll leave that one leave that one what there’s one block from the end here we’re gonna put one just there okay

Then with the smooth sandstone we’re gonna bring it from behind this block all the way until it diagonally with this one and then bring it all the way over to the wall just here now on this wall at the back here we’re gonna go ahead and we’re gonna bring the

Sandstone all the way across just like this and we’re going to put a pillow just here which is right by the room we just made diagonally in then we’re going to put one here and one over in this corner just here okay so now what we’re going to do is we’re

Going to raise the sandstone here all the way up to the ceiling obviously there are some of the hoppers in the way here so we’re just going to bring them up as far as we can like this oh actually we can do it just behind them there we go

So it doesn’t matter so we can bring those all the way up so we’re gonna bring that wall all the way up we’re gonna bring these sandstone walls all the way up to the ceiling the pillars we’re gonna bring them up to the ceiling and this warm pillar over here

Okay so let’s go ahead and get that all in place All right guys now that that’s all in place we’re gonna go ahead and replicate the design at the top of the wall that we’ve been using throughout the castle so on the fifth block up okay so we should have four blocks below we’re gonna just put pillars connecting across

Like this so across this one across these three here which is by the door this one across the top here and then bring it all the way down on this side then we’re going to go ahead and stop there we’re going to place pillars on every other block in the gaps just like

This make sure that they go all the way to the ceiling do the same on this one do the same on this one now just a little note here guys remember where we had this wall here that we raised make sure you don’t join the gap here okay we

Want to leave this open just like this okay and what we can do is break this block here just behind the pillar then what we’re going to do is right here i think we’ll go ahead and we’re just going to put some sandstone there just for the moment okay

So now we can actually get rid of this top piece of the wall i didn’t actually mean to add that so that’s fine we can get rid of that top piece of the wall for the moment now if we come back on the outside here let’s go ahead and just continue with

Our pillars at the top here then coming around this side we’re going to go ahead and fill the gaps with the smooth sandstone bring that all the way down this side fill the gaps just here leave this one here just for a minute and we’re going to continue these ones

All the way until we get to here okay now what we’re going to just quickly do is place an upside down stair underneath this side here and this one here let’s do the same underneath these ones and then this little gap here as well okay perfect now before we go ahead and start

Decorating this room we’re going to come up into this gap we’re going to get our spruce planks okay and what we can do is we’re going to run them from this corner here let’s make a row of them in here and what i do let’s just go in by say

Two more okay so we’ve got like a sort of free block space Like that okay we’re gonna do some more work in here in just a minute now down here we’re going to go ahead and we’re going to put in a load of spruce planks as a little walkway but what we’re going to do is we’re going to make sure that

We light up the way and we’re going to do that by just putting in torches on maybe just every other block just to make sure it’s very well lit up in here okay so here’s the gap we came in we’re going to bring out our our spruce planks in all of these gaps

This little wall here isn’t really an area that we can do anything with but we’re going to leave it there anyway and then we’re going to just continue these stairs all the way down now this is actually part of what is going to lead to our secret room that we’ve been talking about

So we’re going to come around this edge here let’s put this all in here across the top here now this room this is actually right underneath the throne room and as you can see this is the room to bring us out to the center here that is the armory and that is the

Entrance that takes us upstairs okay where the dungeons are so in this room here we’re gonna do some work again in just a moment now before we do anything else let’s head upstairs and we’re gonna work out a way that we can make an area that comes down to the um to

Uh i forgot the name down to the uh wall from the wall so basically where we decided originally was that we was gonna have a secret room at the back here of the front now some of you guys that play on bedrock are saying that you can’t press

The trapdoor like this and go below here to make a one block gap underneath here okay so if you’re on java you can keep it this way okay because that way we can just do one block and we can come down boom into this little area here

So for the moment i’m gonna break one two and then one and two okay just like that now if you are on um on bedrock you’re gonna have to do this a little bit different so what you’ll have to do is you’re gonna have to put a

Spruce trap door in there okay and then a slab here like this okay so that way you can open this one actually so that way you can rather open that one you can use that one to come down here okay but for bedrock players we can go ahead

And use the back of the chair so we can actually have this one here as a slab okay so it’s only bedrock players that need the trapdoor here unless you guys prefer having a trapdoor just here to go down like that and then closing that if

You prefer that then by all means we can keep that um but i like the fact that we just crawl through a little tight gap like this underneath here i just i don’t know something i just like and then we can close that one there so

For me i’m gonna go ahead and i’m gonna close that one there this one here i’m gonna change to a slab for myself because i’m on java but for bedrock players keep that as it is then we can just do that straight in here close that one

Now from this point here i can actually crouch and go underneath here and i’m pretty sure this should be the same on bedrock as well at this point i’m gonna go one two like this okay so we’ve got the slab and you should see two well two slabs

You should see half of the bone block and then that block there let’s break that one there so now we can crouch and we can come down like this now what we can do is put a stair here and then a stair here so what happened

Is on the wall here we’ll have two stairs to go up and we’ll be able to come up here crouch and then walk into this spot here and this is where we’re going to be dropping down into if you have the trapdoor obviously you’re going to be dropping straight

Down to this point and you’ll be able to just crouch and then come down the stairs so i hope that is making sense for you guys if it don’t i do apologize please let me know if you have any troubles and we can go over it in my discord

Now we’re gonna come down here so now that we’ve got these two stairs here you can see we can actually see through into the room here so before we move any further we’re going to go through into this room here and we’re just going to kind of hide it a little bit

So to hide it i think the best way to really hide it is to break the trapdoor up there break the trap door up there and then we’ll grab some leafs one leaf there one lift there one here and there we go it’s hidden you know it’s hidden amongst the bushes you can’t

See anything from this side from this side here you can see a little bit of the leaves but that’s fine that’s not an issue now that we got that all in place let’s just just finish up the layout for this room okay so what we’re going to do is

Where we got these pillars here we’ve got two pillars coming across we’re going to add one more and we’re going to bring that all the way up to the ceiling whether the um spruce planks are here we’re going to bring a pillow all the way over to this corner somewhere like this

And then i think what we can do here is we can probably just grab some planks and put two planks in here if you wanted to you can extend them over here we can’t really make use of any of this area here so i’m gonna just light this up and i’m

Just gonna personally just section it off like that with some planks okay you can go ahead and use the s the smooth smooth sandstone if you want okay then we’re just gonna repeat our pattern so basically making a pillar on every other block like so

Once we get to this end one here break that one down there and then bring the pillar all the way up joining it to here and of course we’re going to bring that all the way over to this corner here and then bring a pillar up just on this corner to the ceiling

Now we should oh it’s going to have to do like i know we’re gonna bring this sorry guys i do apologize bring this one one over like this break that one then we’ve got two of our single pillars that can come across here just like this

Now we’re gonna put a couple of torches just up at the back here and then we’re gonna get rid of the torches on the wall this one on this one and then just bring the smooth smooth sandstone all the way up covering this area here there we go Then of course we’re going to do the same at the very top here i’m gonna leave this one open so i can get back in there in a moment so we’re gonna just cover up these holes for the moment just like that now over on this side here we’re gonna

Basically just continue this so let’s bring this one all the way across and i’m pretty sure we should end up directly in line with that one now let’s um let’s just do this we’re gonna put one pillar on every other block so we can end up with one pillar just here

Which will mean that we don’t have no use for this space here but we might be able to make some entrance later on into this area a little secret entrance to another secret room so we’ll save that for a secondary secret room later on but

For now we’re going to bring this up to here make sure they all face upwards the same with these pillars just here let’s put our smooth sandstone across these Then don’t forget underneath here make sure you’ve got some torches at the very top there to keep it all lit up and then we’re gonna bring our smooth sandstone all the way across this wall like this and then get rid of these torches and then just raise it until we

Fill in the gap so it should be four blocks high okay so it was pretty dark in here so i’ve just gone ahead and placed down some torches for the moment now just to finish this one off guys we’re gonna just put our upside down stairs in all of the corners

Just like that there we go and that finishes off this room nicely now we’re gonna head back up into this gap here we’re gonna close this bit off here and again we’re gonna just make sure that the walkways here are all lit up i think every other block just keeps it

Very very bright in here so i’m gonna stick with every other block but you guys could do it every sort of three or five blocks if you wanted it’s entirely up to you there we go so now it’s all up like this here’s our entrance way we come down

So if we wanted a quick escape if we come back up here let me just break this one for the moment so java player for bedrock players you’d have a door there you can just go press that and jump down but for bedrock players we can go over here press this one

Come underneath here close the door crouch walk down the stairs run around this side turn to the right we can run all the way down here and then oops inside that room there we can actually leave that like that then we can come into here and this would be where we

Have a secret room area so what we’re gonna do here is let’s see how can we run this any different so what we’ll do is we’ll put a wall here like this put a pillar just here so we’ve got two in that corner there so we can come to the end come around

Here and then it’s gonna open up to our room so what we’ll do is we’ll put some stairs coming down like this let’s put some upside down stairs underneath like that just to make it look a little bit nicer then we’re gonna go ahead and get the good old trapdoors

And we’re gonna place trapdoors against the stairs all the way up to the top then on the inside here we’re going to place trapdoors on the top of the stairs and then open those and that gives us a nice little walkway going up the stairs then over here we’re gonna go two

Trapdoors just here like so and then here we’re gonna put in some of the smooth sandstone and i think um let’s try and just cover this up a little bit so what we’ll do is we’ll get the um stripped log the shirt spruce log and let’s just follow our patterns

Just like this all the way over then we’ll go ahead we’ll put in our smooth sandstone bearing in mind guys we are one block gap behind the back here then we’re going to just put in some torches to keep it lit up at the top there

Then all we’re going to do is just double up this wall here so we’re going to just bring this wall all the way over here like this and we’re just going to raise it all the way up until we are four blocks high there we go that looks pretty good and

Then i guess we could just bring this pillow all the way down something along these lines yeah something like that i think that will do and then i think we’ll go a upside down stair there and upside down stay there for now and then these ones

Here we can turn those into upside down stairs as well and that one there can just twist on that little corner now for this point guys i’m not certain where it’s going to be but i’m planning on making a little piston door it’s going to be hidden

So it’ll probably be around about here somewhere okay uh but what we’re gonna do we’ll end up having some things that will cover part of the door and the pistons at the back so we’ll be able to hide it pretty well so we’re gonna do that another time

Though i’ve still gotta work out exactly the design i want to use for that one so we will be coming back to that so for the moment we’re going to start on some storage this is going to be a storage room just a large storage room

No sort of main use just for anything let’s place an upside down stair on this main wall this big one at the back okay leave a one block gap this side do the same here now i think we can go one two three four place one on the fifth and that should

Leave a four block gap here which it does then we’re gonna go on top of them with a normal stair upside down stair normal stair upside down stair and then a normal stair and finally i think an upside down stair we might have to change that in a minute

I’m not sure we’ll do the same for all of this all the way up so just keep alternating it all the way up to the ceiling now we can get our slabs and on the top half of the bottom stair of the stair at the bottom here we can do that and we’re

Going to bring that all the way across And then that gap there then we’re going to leave one block and on the second block at the top half we’re going to put a slab there again where the upside down stairs we’re just joining the top part of that block bring it all the way across

Again we’re going to leave a block and a half gap bringing it up and just through the same all the way across like so now we’re going to try something very much the same here so we’re going to go with i think this one we could probably just get a

Way of doing it right in the center so let’s just do one there and then we’ll do that then that that that that and that okay and then again just repeat the blocks exactly the same even a block and a half between them now you got to make

Sure that the slab ends up on the top half of the block otherwise you won’t be able to place anything on top of them okay so we’ve got a big rack here for some storage now now i really like this design i think this works really well for the storage area here

If you wanted to you could turn these into beams if you wanted to just have beams going all the way up but i like the little extra shape of detail i just think it looks pretty cool so in here this first we’ll just start with barrels and chests because we’re

Going to be using those for some storage so we can go ahead and put a barrel just there um we put one here one there and again this just just place them randomly don’t place them in line though see how we you know we’re putting them in different places we

Don’t want them to both be seen sort of in a line together or anything no organized pattern just messy as you can then we’re going to get some chests so we’re going to put a chest here here here now guys don’t try and follow the way

I’m doing it you really don’t need to it’s just a matter of making it look a little bit messy and a little bit unorganized so something kind of like this and this already looks pretty good now once we got that in place that is a good bit for some storage so what we’re

Going to use now is just a few beehives not too many here because these are a little bit so bit of a different color so too many of them will really stand out so just add a few of them randomly something like this i think works pretty good then i’m gonna maybe add

Maybe just one loom here one loom there we’ll put in some anvils maybe even with turn one at a different angle Maybe one more just there but again like i said not too many of them let’s put a smoker here smoker up there um we can put a crafting table there maybe maybe one up here yeah that don’t look too bad um and then i kind of think we don’t really

Need to overdo this guys we could put in a cartography table maybe there may be a fletching table there maybe even another one just up there just organize it how you feel looks the best but i think that looks pretty good and i’m i’m pretty happy with that Now all i’m gonna do is i’m gonna just put a couple of flower pots in some of the gaps there just to make it just um i don’t know just look like there’s just something randomly sitting there not in all the gaps just a few of the gaps

Something like that i might get rid of that one there and do that yeah that looks good okay right now let’s just do something with the ceiling here because it’s gonna be really dark in here otherwise so i think we’re going to break this top upside down stair like this and we’re

Going to bring in a beam all the way down from this side here with the strip spruce log and i think we’re gonna go ahead and do the same in this gap here just like that now what we’ll do is we’re gonna bring a beam across from all of these ones here

And then from this one here we’re gonna jump over to this one here and then just bring that all the way across as well and just join them up like this to this side okay so just join them all up on every other block okay now that we’ve got those all in

Place i think we might just go ahead and just put a split for this little log here just because we’re sectioning the room here i just no i just feel that it looks better like that now let’s get ourselves some chains and some lanterns of course and we’re

Going to get in some lighting and while we’re there we’re going to also go ahead i think probably with some slabs maybe some oak slabs here just to make the ceiling a little bit different a little bit lighter let’s have a look what do the sprue the oak slabs look like

Yeah i think they look what they look good so we’re gonna go ahead put the oak slabs inside the gaps okay like this in between each of the pillars and then we’re going to go ahead and add some lanterns to create a little bit of light in here

Okay i think that looks pretty good now in here for the storage room i’m gonna go a little bit random here so let’s skip the first pillar on the second pillar here we’re gonna go one chain then two chains then i think how many beams we’ve got here then we’re

Gonna skip the next beam and we’re gonna go to the next one we’re gonna add just one chain skip this beam come to this one and then we’re going to go one two actually we’ll leave that as one and we’re gonna make this one here down to three okay

So one there two at the back and then three on this side here and then we’re gonna just put a lantern at the very bottom like this and that’s a little bit strange with the the way the light it ends up looking um but i just think it just makes it feel a

Little bit more unique um i think we might actually just add one more right in the middle of the doorway here so let’s put one chain here and then a lantern just up there perfect okay now it’s just a matter of making a bit of storage so let’s get some barrels

And we’re gonna go i think one two three one two and we’re free didn’t we free yep randomize them something like this if you can then we’re gonna do the same again coming out by two one up here one up here and then we can’t really go up any higher just

Just something like that then i think what i’m gonna do is get a loom maybe it can be any block of your choice and just maybe just switch a couple of them up like this and then while you’re there we could also go ahead maybe put in one of those

And another crafting table up there and then i just think a couple of random chests placed maybe like that i think that just looks good just a few things piled up in the corner there and just to make sure that nothing spawns in fact i’ll tell you what we put it against

The crafting table there yeah that looks good okay right now for this one we’re gonna go ahead and let’s grab one of our beehives and we’re gonna make a bit of a storage unit coming across here so we’re gonna go too high from this second block in here

And i think we’re just gonna bring it all the way over just like this maybe we’ll put just one on this corner here let’s get ourselves a spruce bun because these actually look really good like little kind of like filing cabinets or something along that sort of lines some kind of wooden cabinet

Yeah that looks pretty good then i guess we’re gonna go ahead and get some trapdoors and we’re gonna make a few shelves so for this one here we’re gonna go from what this side here place two trapdoors here then we’re gonna go up by one making

Sure we’re on the top half of the block very important trapdoor here if you’re playing on java on a bedrock edition you may need to use slabs here um i’m not too sure how the bedrock version works but i know some people have complained they can’t put

Stuff on top of trap doors so you may have to use slabs and then i think i’m going to go up one more like this so each time we’re just going to cross by one block now for here again guys it is just a matter of just decorating these so let’s

Go for a few smaller decorations so first of all we can add in a couple of flower pots um we can put in a lantern if we need one we could also put in an anvil an anvil doesn’t look too bad as a decoration even on a shelf it looks a bit random

But i think it looks okay let’s get some saplings um maybe some sea pickles and let’s just get some some bamboo maybe okay so let’s put in a flower pot here one here um i think i’m gonna go one there and one right there we’re putting a bit of bamboo in that

One maybe bamboo in that one then i think we’re gonna go ahead with a a lantern on that one we’ll put in an anvil just there a couple of those there and a couple of them there Yeah i think that looks okay something like that we don’t need to go too crazy here um that anvil would probably look better about there and maybe if we just place a block there and place it that way yeah that definitely looks better like that maybe we’ll go ahead and place

One chest not chest one a val actually just might even look better yeah because it doesn’t actually connect it looks better that way okay that looks pretty good and i think i’m pretty happy with that let’s quickly just come outside here and get ourselves some dark oak stairs

We’ll put one there one there one there just like that and then repeat the same thing here but we have three in the middle there let’s put a lantern just there then i think maybe a couple of flower pots just here and then what we’ll do is

We’ll do the same thing we’ve got here which totally went wrong there let’s get the armor stand and now so we’ll do that then that put the armor stand there and then we just get ourselves some of our iron armor so let’s just get rid of a couple bits in our

Inventory and we’ll go with a full iron armor set now guys like i always say you can use any armor and it hasn’t got all be matching you can mismatch it with leather or gold diamond never write if you really want to it’s entirely up to you guys

And let’s just go ahead and put some boots on there we go Excellent and then i think we’re just going to go flower on our flower there and then again we just want to make this look like it’s a little bit used so let’s put a um a loom block just there we’ll get some more of our barrels now there’s gonna be a doorway right

Here okay it’s gonna be a piston doorway i’m not going to do it today but there is going to be a piston doorway just there so we want to make sure that we cover some of this so in order to do that we’re going to place a few barrels like this um

And then i think i’m gonna put one there maybe one there one there and we’ll go something like that okay leaving two like this we don’t want to have an extra one here we don’t need that we just need two like that for the moment we might change it later on when

We do the door but for now that will work and we’re just going to leave that closed up for now now i think this is actually starting to look pretty good it’s looking a bit messy like a storage room uh we can go ahead we can keep the barrels oops keep the barrels

There i just think we need to do something let’s actually go for the loom let’s get a loom again we’ll put a loom just there crafting table we’ll put one there yeah i think that looks pretty good yeah that should do the job we should be out of work with that

Okay guys right i think that is the storage room pretty much complete you know that the last thing you can do is if you want to make it look a bit more messy is you can just play some random stacks of stuff so if you want to

Fill some areas out a bit more you could do something along these lines that’s just um again trying to random up randomize some of the blocks so it doesn’t feel all the same something like that you know just add in a few blocks um there’s not really much we can do

With the floor here because uh it’s gonna get seen from below so we don’t really want to change the floor up too much one thing you can do which i often do and i know some people don’t like the messy look um but i do like the messy look for

Carpet in a room i don’t know why it just feels like it’s a worn away bit of carpet in the room it just feels very fitting for the medieval theme so in here i’m gonna grab the green carpet again and we’re just gonna randomly play some like this That will probably break that one there Yeah there we go something like that i just think it just adds a little bit of color to the room all right i think that is looking pretty good for the storage room so we’ve got our storage room all in place now we’re gonna have the um

The secret room which is gonna be hidden in there now we may expand the secret room because we do have the backing of the wall that leads into here so if we wanted to we could create another doorway um and just you know section off another piece of this room

If we wish to but for now i’m going to leave it like that because it’s hidden and it’s out of the way so let’s go ahead and do that now i’m going to go ahead and i don’t think this is going to get used at any

Point but in case we decide to we’re going to put some planks all the way across the top of the wall here like that get these strips bruce log and we’re going to bring that next to it like this all the way across Just like so now where the doorway is here we’re gonna leave a one block out for the side here and bring a pillow all the way up and again bring that one all the way up to the ceiling okay just like so over this side do the same thing at this

Side of the door just like that and of course we can add two pillars in the center like this now i’m just gonna quickly come up here i’m gonna grab myself some of these torches i’m gonna get rid of them them the way they are and i’m just gonna even them out because

This is just annoying me so we’re gonna go on every other block there we go okay now we’re gonna go ahead and we’re gonna put in another block here leave a one block gap leave another pillar here here and then on the corner here we’re gonna break that one underneath break

That one there and just bring a pillow all the way up to the top again we’re gonna extend it on this side it should be every other block and all the way across to here which is perfect just like so in the corner over here we can bring

This one down and bring it all the way up now this is actually gonna lead to the outside of the castle so if i break that that’s gonna be on the outside of wall so i think what i’m gonna do here is i’m gonna bring a pillow all the way up to

This side here one two three four five six so because that is a six block gap we’re going to break this one actually we’re bringing bring another pillar up here so you could leave this one in the corner here empty and put a torch down a bottom if you want we’ll put in

Something like that then over this side here let’s do the same thing one two three four five and then a pillar all the way up from here and then every other block would do that now again the corner there we’re going to put in a torch

Put a torch down there and you don’t need to put these ones in this corner here then we’re simply just going to go ahead i think can we get away with these ones yes we can so we can get away with those ones so i put these smooth sandstone in there

Then i think we’re just going to go ahead and come from here all the way across just like so and then we’re going to raise that all the way up to the top i think i think if we bring the pillow across here might narrow the room in too much

I’ll tell you what we’ll try it let’s go ahead this bring these up by four okay so for now we’re just going to bring them up by four Then we’re going to go ahead put some planks all the way across the top place some torches on every other block or something like that across the top here just to keep this very well lit up because it’s going to be on the inside of the wall like that

Then we’re going to go ahead and get the strip spruce log bring that all the way across the back just like so and then of course every other block we’re gonna place our pillars coming up okay now we’re done let’s go ahead and we can start filling in the gaps with

Our smooth sandstone now once we get to this one guys we’re gonna have to leave that one as it is for our input chest um but it’s no big deal we can cover that up in just a minute then we’re going to just continue all the way around and fill the sandstone in

The two block gaps all the way around the top here Okay once that’s all in place we’re gonna go ahead and let’s just quickly see we might just be able to do this we can break this one here so we got a three block gap then this one leave another three blocks this one three blocks this one three blocks this one

Three blocks this one also gonna be one out let’s break that one that one and we’ll leave a five block gap there okay so we’re gonna go this one here so we’ve got a three block gap three block gap the one right in the center of the room here will be five

Blocks then we’ve got a free block gap just here Okay perfect then of course guys upside down stairs in the corners like this all the way around the room Okay guys for this room here we’re gonna actually bring the ceiling down a little bit so what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna bring pillars across like this okay on every other block so basically straight in line with the pillow on the wall there okay we’re gonna bring it across like this

Making sure there’s a one block gap at the top and what you want to probably do just to make sure mobs don’t spawn is put a torch in the middle of each pillar that you’d come across um otherwise you’re gonna risk a chance of mobs spawning on top of those Do that all the way across until you get to the opposite side okay now that’s all in place let’s go ahead and get our spruce slabs and i think we’re just gonna fill the gaps with spruce slabs and we’re gonna make sure that we place them

On the upper part of the block so right in here okay so it looks like we’ve got beams in this ceiling let’s do that all the way across Okay now we got that all in place let’s go ahead and just put an upside down stair underneath each one on each side of the room so i put upside down stairs all the way down this side and the same on the opposite side now again guys i don’t know what we’re

Going to be doing with this room just yet at the moment i’m just creating a layout on the inside here but i’m really unsure what we’re going to be doing with this room so if you guys have any ideas what we could do please be sure to let me know

Remember this is in the basement where the storage room is so again we’ve got to try and work out something that feels suitable for down here now i think at this point we’re just going to go ahead and get ourself maybe some chains and some lanterns and just

Put them in the ceiling for a bit of lighting so for this room i’m going to go a little bit neat i would go on every other block replace one chain one lantern and i’m hoping that we can do it on every other one let’s do this first of all

Okay so it’s every other one from this side so miss the first one place one miss one place one let’s do the same over this side so i guess that would be beam one place one there miss one place one there and then that will leave us two of our um

Two pillars in the middle but it evens it out it keeps it nice and even now on the outside here we actually don’t have it let’s come and grab ourself one of those one of our spruce fences we’re gonna go spruce fences here and here let’s get rid of that torch spruce fence

Bruce fence and of course lanterns on top of those then we can get rid of the rest of our torches that we have on the floor All right guys so now we’ve got a nice shape of a room here so we’ve got a room layout here again like i said let me know what you think we should do with this one in the comments now if we come around this side we got

The armory which which we know is all in place if we come around this side we’ve got this other room here again let me know what you think we should do with this room and with this from here why we’re actually in here we’re gonna go ahead and we’re just gonna make some

Beams in here as well so let’s just go from this side here every other block we’re gonna bring a beam all the way over to this side and then one right in this corner here bring it all the way over to that side and again we’re just going to go ahead

Put our upside down stairs underneath and then i think we’re just gonna put slabs in the gaps again just like this i kind of like this sort of slightly lowered looking spit in the gap And i think in here we’re gonna put a chain there and a chain there so every other pillar given us the two just like that and just be careful guys see how this beam up here see the wood make sure you get it angled the same way

There we go and then we can just go ahead get rid of these torches so again guys now we’ve got that room over there sorted we’ve got that one over there saw it this one over here is sorted but not we have i say sorted we’ve got the room laid out we just

Gotta work out what to do in that room over there and this one over here then if we come around here we’ve got our storage room in here which i gotta say guys i love this storage room i think it looks so cool i love this layout and in fact actually

We didn’t add no beams in here let’s go ahead and put the uh no beams a little supports underneath these ones like this on the opposite side we can’t do it because we’ve got that running straight into that side there so we’ll leave that

As it is on the other side but just adds a little bit of detail on the one side there okay so the bottom floor down here guys this is fully planned out and we just will wait for two rooms that one and that one okay so we’ll come back and do those later

For now we’re gonna come back up here above onto the stairway up here and before we finish up we’re just gonna quickly add in some extra walls here so this was gonna be really simple where we got the back of the wall here so this is the connection to the um

The phone room so we’re gonna come around here straight here now at this point here we’re gonna place a block here of our strip spruce wood and then every other block we’re gonna just keep going down keep going down all the way and then we should get to this one which is one

Block before this corner here okay so this is the block here it’ll be one inwards now i put one here how many does that leave us one two three oh perfect so we could get rid of that one in the middle leave one there one there and then we’ll

Have the two on this side basically we’re gonna have a hallway coming down here and a doorway into here now what i want to do here is i do want to section off some of this area so we’re going to extend the kitchen we’re going to have a little bit of a kitchen

In here with a table which is going to be on the inside here i’m not sure how far over i’m gonna make the room just yet then we’re gonna get rid of this stone here let’s get rid of all this stone that we can see

And we’re gonna take it all the way back to there planks this guy here to just replace the stone in the floor here with some planks and same in his ceiling Just like so now just quickly here we’re going to place a pillar right here at this side of the stairs another pillar at this side of the stairs then what we got we got a free block gap i think for the gap let’s go ahead and put our sandstone so just just go

Sandstone like this fill that wall in there is this scene from the outside it is so we need to hide that a little bit if we can we could put a pillar on this side Maybe another pillar on this bit here and i think what i might do is go one two three four across here and in fact that one can come down just like that um let’s get rid of these actually let’s make a wall with that and then maybe we can use the sandstone again

And we could make a little doorway let’s get a smooth sandstone upside down stair and we’ll also grab ourself a door as well so we can put a door in here something like that and then i think we’ll put a spruce door and then inside here we’ve got ourselves

Just a little storage cupboard kind of thing so i think we’ll get in another pillar just here so we can block off that bit for the stair there and for now let’s just put a torch in there but we’ll probably put some shelves and stuff in there a little bit later on Yeah i think that’s good i think it probably would actually look better without those there yeah like that yeah that’s good let’s just make sure that that one faces downwards okay so now we’ve got a little stairway we’re gonna have this bit come across here i think the kitchen’s probably gonna end

Somewhere about here so the doorway would be right in the middle so we’ll have kitchen coming through here which allow us access through to the feast hall on the other side this side is going to allow us to come through here and head upstairs which is going to be a guest house

Now this part of the guesthouse i actually want to kind of section this off so from this pillar here i think we’ll go every other block like that okay so now what we’re gonna basically do is in the gaps we’re gonna put our smooth sandstone leave this three block gap here because

That’s gonna be a doorway do the same all the way down here in the gaps just like that and then again over here put one in that gap one in that gap so this is going to be sectioned off this is going to be a guest house and

We’re going to have a little stairway in here which i think i’m gonna put somewhere up here yeah i think what we do is we grab those so basically where the door is here you’ve got one wall section here the second wall section right in this

Corner of the full of the third wall section here you want to put a little two by two of your spruce planks okay once you’ve got your spruce planks you want to get your spruce stairs put two in this way then we want to put two guy in that way okay

And then we’re gonna just keep bringing those two all the way up break these two here and bring it up like that and we’ve got a stairway that brings us up to this level which we’ll take a look at in just a moment underneath here we’re gonna just go

Ahead put some upside down stairs underneath all of these and then yeah we can go one more in here so just bring that one all the way across to there now these walls we’ve put in here guys we’re going to go ahead and just raise

Them all the way to the ceiling so it’s going to be three more blocks on top of all of these okay so let’s go ahead and do that with both the strip spruce logs and also for the smooth sandstone All right guys once that’s all done you can see we got a nice walkway now that comes all the way through here this spit is sectioned off we’ve got a stairway over here going up to the next floor we’ve got an area that’s going to come

Down here into the last part of the kitchen we’re going to have a big fireplace inside here which is going to be like an open cooker oh and while i’m on the subject of open cookers guys i know a lot of people were saying to me that they were guided that

In 1.16 they took away the ability to leave food on the um on the fires now and you can actually still do it it’s just people don’t realize that you just gotta do it a little bit different so now was to get some kelp so basically if you want to put food

On a fire all you have to literally do now is place down your fire place it where you want it use your shovel put it out and then place your food on it after it’s simple as that this is no mod or anything like that um you just place the

Food on it after um so it’s easy enough to do so if you guys want to do it you can still do it you’ve just got to do it a different way so we’re going to be doing some of that adding it into the kitchen i’ve got a

Lot of work to do in the kitchen here so the kitchen here we’re gonna be adding a couple of tables coming down which we could just quickly do now i guess so let’s go ahead and put in a upside down stair there then in line with that we’re gonna go to

This corner one here one and then two let’s break that one then i guess we’ll skip across give ourselves a little bit of room let’s break this one here where the beetroot is upside down stair there and then that’s going to be right in this one so place two here break that one

Now all we need here is if we’ve got any dark oak slabs let’s get our dark oak slabs And we’re just gonna stretch those down to make two little work workplaces i feel like there’s not enough workspaces in here i mean the cut this would be feeding a lot of people in the castle that’s why we’re going to make an extension on that side here and a little

Bit of work area here so for here guys i’m not going to do too much for the details we are going to get ourselves a lever we’re also going to get ourselves some of our item frames maybe a flower pot and something that looks a bit like a

Herb like an acacia sapling i don’t know looks like a bit of basil or something like that so we’ll put that there put in one of those just put one over this side one there put in some item frame um put a second item frame there maybe

And then i’m gonna just put in a lever like this because it looks a bit like a meat hammer a little bit of a heavy meat hammer but you know it’s the closest we can get in minecraft i guess then maybe get a couple of steaks

You can make it look like the stakes have been flattened out a little bit there we go little extra area there just for a little bit more work and i think that looks really cool so i’m gonna save the rest of the kitchen until next episode so we’re

Gonna fill this area here with a big fireplace a table some more storage and work areas and stuff to feed the people in the castle over here we’ve got our walkway that comes up here and again we’re going to do something with this area this area is also going

To be sectioned off because you can come up the stairs here and then go back down over here which wouldn’t make sense because uh i want to keep this part here because it actually has an entrance way from the wall downstairs i want to make this just like a little set separate

Kind of other like a guest house maybe so what we’re going to do is i think maybe from this one here go every other block with the strip spruce log it’s going to end right on the window does this pillar line up with this one yeah okay so rather than doing that and

Taking out the section of the window there we’ll do it right here okay so where the stairs are it’s literally the first the end of the first pillar so for now i’m gonna raise these all the way up to the ceiling and then in the gap i’m gonna fill in the sandstone

All right once you’ve got that wall all in place we’re gonna go ahead and where the stair is here we’re gonna go one back and go one two three four five of our spruce trapdoors open them up and then one on this corner here and there we go we’ve got ourself a nice

Little section of walkway now now it looks a bit funny with this single bit here so what we can do is we can break these three here and just extend that one across the top there which gives us a break across the window if we go one lower it’s gonna be seen

From the outside then it’s gonna look strange having one that’s got a bit of wood showing across the top so if we do it this way we don’t get seen okay right so now this top floor here has access to the garden area here all the not necessarily the garden but

The little walkway we are gonna actually decorate that and the back of the castle as well i’ve actually got it all planned out now so i know exactly what we’re going to do for the garden area in here we’re going to put another pillow going up like this

And in fact we can actually take that up one more in front of that as well yeah we’ll keep that like that in fact let’s put one beam across there and maybe we’ll put the smooth sandstone in the gap Yeah i know it looks a little bit out of place but that it should be okay that should be fine we’ll go ahead and we’ll break that one we’ll put in another beam going up here and then we could just go ahead trap doors to cover that little bit of the area there

Now again guys lighting and stuff we’re going to deal with that a little bit later on um but for now let’s head back through here i’m going to just break those two and replace them all right guys before we finish up here we just got one thing i want to quickly

Change well change fix i guess is the right word is this block here we’ve got a smooth sandstone block so let’s go ahead break it you can see it does actually get seen from down below so let’s put in a stone block there stone brick or a smooth stone whichever you

Want then we’re going to come around here to our stairway now what we’re going to do here is we’re going to just slightly change this so let’s get in our spruce planks we’re going to break these blocks here put some spruce planks here then we can get rid of these spruce

Planks like this for the moment we’ll do that with our four blocks okay and then we’re just gonna simply get our spruce stairs we’ll bring those over like so bring it up one more okay so we’re gonna be coming close to that lamp there that lamp can actually be moved over let’s

Just go back one for now i probably will change the location once i work out how i’m gonna do the lighting in this room um and then what we’re gonna do here is break the little uh fences that we have here break this one here we’re gonna go ahead and place a full

Block here a strip spruce lock here get the bone block we’ll fill in that gap there with our funny sounding bone block i cannot get used to that then we’ll go ahead replace this one here with a spruce plank okay so it just kind of sections the wall off
