Hey everyone blue here back another minecraft tutorial today i’m going to show you how to build a medieval house now this is a very simple design and works great in a starting village or in a lower class housing area so here are the layout and the materials you’re going to need Let’s build this Okay using these strips bruce logs we’re going to build five block high pillars on the blocks marked in red and then we’re going to connect them at the very top around the outside edge using the cobblestone fill in the gaps between the pillars for the foundation of the walls On the right hand side of the build build a three by five block platform using the cobblestone using spruce planks lay down your floor at the same level as the cobblestone now in between the gaps we’re going to use the white concrete to fill in our walls Now that’s all in place let’s create a simple entrance way so on the right hand side down here we’re going to add three cobblestone at the center of another three just behind it then we’re gonna place three cobblestone slabs then to the left hand side we’re gonna Place three of our stone bricks and then three on the right hand side as well put a stone brick slab just in front of them and on the very back two we’re gonna put two slabs up here and two slabs up here right in the middle here we’re gonna Break two blocks here for a doorway we’re gonna break a single block here for a window on the side here we’re gonna put a two high window here and a two high window here around the back we’re gonna leave these two here and we’re gonna come round to this side here We’re gonna place a doorway just here and a single window just there now this part is optional i like to texture my builds up to make them look a little bit more natural so at this point you can either leave the build as it is or you can texture up the cobblestone And the stone bricks with some mossy cobblestone and stone bricks and cobblestone blend it all together to create a little bit more of a natural feel and for the white concrete you can blend in diorite and white concrete powder just to make it look a little bit withered Now like i said guys this part is optional so it’s up to you i’m going to go ahead and include it on this build but it’s up to you guys whether you want to include it or leave it clean as it is now now that detection is all done let’s go Ahead and add some doors and windows now before we do the roof let’s go ahead and add some final details so using our strips bruce logs we’re going to place one just in front of the logs on all sides all the way around Then we’re going to go ahead and place a spruce stair just on top facing in towards the pillar like so okay time to make a start on the roof now we’re going to come over to the right hand side of the build here and we’re going to just temporarily place a Stair just here and then we’re going to place one that overhangs to the right break this one here then we’re going to leave this one as a gap place another stair here and another stair here on the opposite side of the build we’re going to do the same thing place a stair Here overhang by one break this one and then place one on every other block coming across until we get to this point now at this point here we’re going to put upside down stairs in all of the gaps behind this side over here we’re going to place an upside down stair and we’re Going to do the same on this side just here place a full plank on top and then a stair facing inwards with an upside down stair behind now before we move any further let’s repeat this on the opposite side Now we’re just going to repeat the pattern so starting on the right hand side over here we’re gonna place a full plank just on top a stair facing inwards upside down stair behind four block on top stairs facing each other then we’re going to place an upside down stair in the center A normal stair on top and then the upside down stair facing outwards let’s repeat that on the opposite side now on the inside edge of the roof here we’re gonna start from this side we’re gonna place two of our white concrete then we’re gonna place one two three four five And then two just here leaving a one block gap between them then we’re gonna place one two three four of our strips bruce logs and four in this gap just here again we’re gonna repeat this on the opposite side over here now before we finish up the rest of the Roof we’re going to add in two little showers the first one is going to be on the left hand side just by the entrance here so where we have this little sticky out pillar we’re going to place two of our underside walls then on the opposite side on this one Alone we’re gonna place one underside wall on top we’re gonna place three of our spruce fences Then we’re gonna get out our campfires and we’re gonna place one two three four five like this and then another five just in front of those ones then we’re gonna get our spruce uh our spruce trap doors we’re gonna place one against the bottom half of that stair We’re gonna place one just in front here run them across the bottom of the campfires then we’re going to place one here one in front and then one more in front to give us a little bit of a sloping edge then using the shovel we’re going to go Ahead and just put these fires up now moving around to the right hand side of the build here we’re going to go ahead on this platform place three fences coming down this side and then connect them all the way to the end just here on the corner one here we’re gonna place one Two and three of your fences and then the same on this side just here then we’re gonna go ahead with our campfires again place one two three four like this and then we’re gonna bring them all the way across to this side and then just bring them out until you’re Overhanging the front fence and of course go ahead and put the fires up now just to finish this side off we’re gonna go ahead and we’re just gonna put in a slab here and a slab here i’m gonna use a cobblestone slab and a stone brick Slab just to add in a little bit of texture then we’re gonna get our spruce fence gates place two underneath this edge where the fence is here we’re gonna bring three of them across this gap and then again two of them on this side here making sure that they connect at the edge Then just underneath in the middle we’re gonna place the lantern okay now we’re gonna move back to the roof so let’s head to the right hand side to the back of the build and where we’ve got these first two concrete we’re gonna place four upside down stairs coming across like this Then on the next beam here we’re gonna place another 4 coming across like so do the same on this side then we’re going to turn around and do exactly the same thing to the front side of the build now right in the middle here we’re just going to use our spruce planks place Four on one side and four on the other now for now we’re just going to use the gray concrete and we’re going to start from the right hand side place five of your gray concrete here and then five more on top then five on this one five on the top And then five on this row just here and then we’re going to leave the middle let’s do the same on this side starting from this one just like this now we’re going to move around to the back of the build and pretty much do exactly the same thing so place five across here Five on top five on this one five on top and then five in the gap there and of course we’re going to repeat that on this part here now for the middle we’re gonna go ahead and we’re gonna place a full block on each side then two slabs And then we’re just gonna place two of the trapdoors facing sideways like this okay now for the roof here guys i like to texture it with gray wool and gray concrete powder now you don’t have to do this but it does make the roof look much Better so just go ahead and dot them in randomly just to create a little bit of texture Now once you’re done on each side of the roof we’ve got five blocks so right in the center we’re gonna go trap door trap door and then skip this block trap door here and then a trap door just there then we’re gonna go stare there and stay there And we’re going to repeat that right here on the middle block here so again two trap doors one here one at the top and then a stair and a stair then we’re going to repeat that on the opposite side again in exactly the same spot okay that’s looking good now let’s head Round to the back of the build and we’re gonna go ahead and put in a chimney so facing from the back here we’re gonna grab our bricks first of all and we’re gonna start from this point here so let’s just break this block and this block which is on the left hand side But then gonna place two of your bricks just here and we’re gonna bring them all the way up until they reach the edge of the roof break these two just here then we’re gonna go ahead and just place one here like so one two three four on the roof here and Again we’re gonna extend our bricks here we’re gonna extend it up by one two three four five six i think for now okay so bring that up by six from there Now down here we’re gonna put in a stair and then a stair just there at the very bottom here i think we’re gonna put in one block there and then we’re gonna go a stair there and then they stare there just for a little bit of extra shape and If you wanted to you could also throw one just in there just to create a little bit more of a sort of curve at the bottom now now at the very top here we’re going to go ahead just put two on one side for the moment then we’re going to put two Upside down stairs like this break these two blocks and then put two upside down stairs here campfires on top trap doors all the way around the edge and then we’re going to use two of our underside walls and place them on top of the campfires to create a nice looking chimney Now again this is optional but to make the chimney look a little bit more warm we’re going to go ahead and use some polished granite and some normal granite just for a tiny bit of texture and again we don’t need to use very much of this Just a few of them dotted in here and there just so it doesn’t look all the same something like that now all we’re going to do is add a few more details on the outside so let’s go ahead and get our grass block and we’re going to make a couple of planners i’m Going to put one on the back here and then put in some cut doors just in front and then i think i’m gonna put two of the rose bushes and then an azure blur in the in the middle on the large side around here we’re gonna do the same thing so let’s go Ahead glass blocks across here trapdoors just in front then i think here we can put three of our rose bushes some of those in between like so right here on the concrete block at the bottom here we just want to put a row of trapdoors and then we’re going to put a Lantern on each side like this and again it’s optional if you want to do it but you can get yourself some of the diorite blocks and you can go ahead and just dot in a couple for a little bit of texture on these top parts and you can also do the Same with the concrete powder if you wish Just like so now around this side here i’m going to go ahead i’m going to put lantern right in the middle just there and in fact i can actually put that one block back like that and then what we’ll do is we’ll grab our spruce fence gates And we’ll place three of them in this gap here two across here and two across here Over this side by the door we’re gonna place a lantern i think on this corner just here and then around the back i think we’re gonna go ahead and we’ll actually place them let’s place some one block in so they’re against the wall there one on that side one on that side And then i guess this one here we can actually get rid of that one in the corner let’s put it there other than that guys the outside is up to you what you want to do i would go ahead and store probably a few barrels just under here just to make it look Like this area is being used maybe something kind of like that don’t over pack it because it will just look a little bit too much but just a few of them here and there then i think um what we’ll do is we’ll place in a couple of campfires like this And then we’ll go ahead and put them out with a shovel again it looks like some logs for storage then around the side here we’re just going to add a little bit of a fish so let’s just add some bushes something kind of like this i think Just a simple little bush and then we’re just going to throw in some rose pushes just like that you can put a couple of little flowers around if you want to don’t forget to extend your pathway if you’ve got a pathway go ahead and extend It up to the edge of the road here and just make it look natural so add in a few of your coaster if you need to something like that now on the inside there isn’t an awful lot of room to sort of play with for decorating As you can see it is fairly small in here but what i would do is get your bricks first of all and right to the side where you’ve got them here replace this one here with a brick bring it down by one two three and then grab your brick stairs At the bottom here i’m going to just make a little fire so i’m going to put any stair that way let’s stare that way one on top here one on top here campfire in that gap there then get my white concrete we’re gonna put a wall right on this point here Breaking that stair just there and placing that one there and then bring a secondary wall all the way down so there’s sort of sections of this area here then i think we’re gonna do the same on this side so bring two on this side all the way up Again replacing that block there and that one there bring it all the way down until you have a two block in the middle for a doorway now i would go ahead and probably use slabs for the next floor here just to make the ceiling a tiny bit higher so It’s up to you if you guys want to do the same right where we’ve got this block here we’re going to go ahead and bring some slabs in around this height here and i’m going to go ahead and break in a sort of three by three area here for the Moment just so we can access behind there these ones here i’m going to replace and bring some of the slabs across turn them into four blocks fill the rest of this for a floor and again because we can see that block there just go ahead and extend those Over like this if you want to you could add another slab ring all the way around the edge just to make it a little bit more decorative where that door is i’m going to break that block there because this is going to be a little ladder coming up to the next floor Now what we’re gonna do is i think we’ll actually replace that one there with the white concrete and bring that all the way up as well bring this one here all the way up and there we go we’ve got a door that leads through into this area and again in this Area here let’s start with the slabs we’ll bring the slabs at the same height all the way across and then i’m just going to go around the edge of the slab just to finish off the top of the ceiling there we go something like that i think Works pretty good go ahead get yourself a ladder and you can put that here so you can access the second floor up here make sure you add some lights because it’s very dark and then go ahead and decorate this up as you please now guys there is only a Very little bit of space here to play with so it doesn’t leave much for all of the decorating but i will show you what i’ve done with mine for a little bit of inspiration okay so there wasn’t much room to play around on the inside so if we go on the inside As you can see we come straight into a sort of little kitchen area here again nothing too much here just pretty simple some barrels some shelves barrels up there for some storage a smoker and a cauldron pretty simple in here really nothing much at all Then on the inside here i turn this into a little bit of a sort of chill out room so we’ve got a little bit of a a barrel here so a little keg with a tap on it some cups which are the flower pots the fireplace Then we’ve got a little sort of sofa in the corner here with a little light again pretty simple in here guys nothing much really going on and then if we go upstairs here we can come up to the attic here this is where we’ve got a little sort of storage area So you’ve got a couple of barrels where you can store some stuff again a little sort of unit on that side and then a little bedroom in here again very simple guys but like i said we’re very compact with room in here there’s really not much room to really play with Um but you know it does the job anyway guys i think that just about wraps this one up if you guys did enjoy this one don’t forget to smash that like button and if you did enjoy you might be interested in these two on screen right Now so be sure to check those out but for now this is blue now signing out and i’ll catch you guys in the next one Video Information
