BlueNerd’s Insane 100 Days Minecraft Hardcore Challenge! Brace for Chaos!

Today i’m going to be attempting to survive 100  days in hardcore minecraft and this challenge   was originally created by luke the noteball and  has become hugely popular amongst the minecraft   community for this challenge i’ve decided to give  myself three main goals one build my starter house  

With full interior two get to the nether and do  some exploring three find the end pool and take on   the ender dragon so without any further ado let’s  do this on day one we spawned in a flower forest  

Which is great because this is one of my favorite  biomes in the game we quickly headed straight into   game and like all hardcore series we started by  gathering up a bunch of flowers i’m only kidding   of course of course we started by punching some  trees and gathering up some wood i quickly crafted  

A wooden pickaxe and then headed straight over  to some stone where i mined some cobblestone   and then crafted myself a full set of stone tools  these would be much more efficient in the long run  

I then picked up my crafting table and headed  off on my journey i had a lot of plans for this   journey but i didn’t know which way i was  gonna go so we just headed south and headed  

Across a big lake gathered up some food from the  local market there was plenty of steak on offer   as you can see there was plenty in this field so  um i gathered up what i could we then headed off  

And gathered up some walls so we came across  the white fluffy stuff just around the corner   i found three pieces crafted a bed straight  away and that gave me much more peace of mind  

So that we could uh sleep the night away and not  have to deal with any mobs for our first night   after that the day was starting to close in so  i decided to cook myself some food in a furnace  

And then i went ahead and just gathered up a  few materials to finish out the day like oak and   spruce wood after gathering up enough wood i went  ahead place down my bed and slept the night away  

We started day two by having something to eat  and then heading off on our journey where we   came across a ruined pool i decided to gather up  the magma as i thought this would be good for a  

Farm later on in game and then i went ahead and  looted the chest where we found some gold armor   the gold armor would be handy and never so i  went ahead and placed it on just so that we  

Had something to protect us for now and then  went ahead and gathered up some coal as we   needed as a supply of fuel for our furnaces i  spent the rest of day too just browsing around  

The area seeing what biomes were around me and  seeing if we could find a good place to build   a3 we stumbled across this beautiful little  village and it would be the perfect place to   set our base the only problem was the villagers  were very strange here i tried to communicate  

With them but i just didn’t seem to get anywhere  all they’d done was kind of shook their head i then went ahead and found an empty house  where some kid thought it’d be funny to jump  

Up and down on my bed so i kicked him  out go on get out and don’t come back   and then went ahead and settled myself in i attempted to save some villagers from a   little hole in the ground but the  only thing i rescued was the cat

I found a small cave where i mined a little  bit of iron there wasn’t a lot but there was   just enough to get me started i then kicked  the villager out of my bedroom for a second  

Time and then that was the end of day three  day 4 started by getting the monster hunter   achievement and then headed back to arcade but  where i was planning on mining down to level 11.   now it was still very slow progress as we only had  stone tools but we still continued nonetheless i  

Then headed back home and slept the night away  after kicking the villager out my bed yet again day 5 started by crafting myself an iron  pickaxe and then heading back to the cave   this time we could make progress a little  bit faster and get a little bit closer to  

Level 11. on day 6 of 10 i made another attempt  to talking to the villagers some of them didn’t   really want to talk to me a little green guy  in the corner although he looked cute i asked  

The villager and he he instantly told me to stay  clear so at least we got some form of conversation   i didn’t decided to hit a bell i thought  maybe this might cheer the villagers up but   these guys just legged it they went crazy  so i’m not sure what that really means but  

I guess maybe maybe we shouldn’t ring the  bell unless we need to so i headed back to   the mine and continued mining down hoping again  to reach level 11. we really needed some diamonds  

I came across some emeralds but still no diamonds  yet so i decided to go ahead and set up the rest   of my mine shaft this was a pretty cool mine  shaft i gave myself room to build on both sides  

So i started on the left side and just started  digging and see what we could find i found some   redstone and some iron this would be great to  get started plus give me a little bit of xp   after what felt like mining forever i finally  found some diamonds and i actually found quite  

A few but i decided not to use them just yet  i thought that i would wait until we could get   an enchantment set up so that i could get the  tools enchantment and make better use of them i spoiled a random house up in the  hill and decided to investigate  

I didn’t really find much other than a bunch of  food so i basically took it all and then just took   all of the crops left in the field i figured  growing them closer to home would be better  

Things were starting to progress well and on  days 11 to 20 i decided to go ahead and craft   myself some full iron armor this would give me  a little bit more protection and make me feel a  

Little bit better i think i looked pretty good  i headed back to the mine and continued mining   for diamonds but we didn’t really find anything  i then headed back to the village and tilled some  

Soil to set up some farms i grew some potatoes and  some wheat because that was all i really had on me   and then i went ahead and gathered up a bunch of  sand so that we could smell it into glass i found  

Some pumpkins and some sugar cane and a few other  bits along the way and then i went ahead and mined   up some dark coke wood seems this was going to be  the main material i would use to build i took out  

A few spiders and i came across a shipwreck where  i didn’t find much just a few basic things but i   did find a buried treasure map and a few emeralds  i stumbled across a little desert village where  

I managed to find a few things mainly a bunch of  cactus which i was gonna use for a farm later on   and some diamonds in this blacksmith which i  wasn’t expecting i then headed back to base where  

I decided it was time to upgrade this little house  this little house was getting tight and cramped   and i had no room to put all my stuff so we went  ahead and completely dismantled it got rid of all  

Of the old terracotta the wood the cobblestone and  then started completely fresh with our new base   days 21 to 35 i spent building up the starter  house and to be honest this was a bit more than  

A starter house it was a pretty large kind of  farmhouse to be honest and i decided to stick   with local materials so things were easy to gather  like dark oaks bruce and oak these would just make  

It quicker for gathering materials seems that we  only had 100 days to play with for this video so i   wanted to make sure that i could get plenty done  in that time now with that being said i decided  

That i still wanted to build something big just  because it’s hardcore you guys know me i’m still   a builder and i love building so i wanted to  build something pretty cool i had this kind of  

Farmhouse design in my mind something that i had  seen in a bit of concept art that i found online   and i thought it would fit perfect for this little  village maybe some kind of farming village later  

On we could progress further down the line but  for now i just wanted to get this first house   in place we had a nice long kind of almost like a  cabin look but more with a farmhouse style to it  

And then we went ahead and put in a nice little  chimney and kind of just give it that little bit   of a rustic look so that it didn’t look too sort  of clean or too new now it took quite a while  

Getting this house in place i’m not gonna lie guys  and it did start making me a little bit nervous   about how much building i could get done within  that 100 days i still continued and pushed through  

And i decided to build a little wall around the  house along with adding some details in there with   some little bushes and flowers to really enhance  the front of the build you know just because  

We’re in hardcore don’t mean we can’t decorate the  place and make it look nice too and that was my   goal i wanted to make this look really nice days  36 to 44 i spent mostly in the mines gathering a  

Bunch of materials including coal and iron and  luckily a bunch of diamonds as well but i still   didn’t have no diamond tools because we still  didn’t have an enchantment cell so i decided   to set up a small cow farm breed some cows in  hopes of getting some leather and some beef  

I also added some sugar cane so that we could  make some paper for when we needed some books   i then gathered up a bunch of wood so that we had  more materials seems that we got through most of  

Our spruce wood and then i went ahead and started  laying out some of the interior inside the base   and then we built a fireplace to  make it look a little bit cozy   i made a little bedroom so we had somewhere to  sleep and then added a few final finishing details  

I also had an unexpected visitor so i got rid  of him i crafted some books and then found a   villager hiding in my cupboard which was a little  bit creepy i crafted my first diamond pickaxe and  

Then went ahead and mined at some obsidian in  hopes of setting up a nether pool a little bit   later on down the line and i then finished  off day 44 by crafting an enchantment table i spent days 45 to 54 mostly planning  out more of the area around our base  

This included building some walls  doing a little bit of terraforming   and just generally organizing the area  to make it look a little bit cleaner   we also cleared a few of their houses  to give us a bit more room for building  

Now although this is a hundred days in minecraft  i do plan on coming back to this so there may be   100 days to 200 days if you guys are interested  so please be sure to let me know in the comments  

Now across the front here i planned out a wall  for what we would eventually sort of be our   full village now this would be a lot of area to  cover so we probably wouldn’t get it all done  

In the first 100 days but it is something we  can come back to later on mostly i just wanted   to concentrate on cleaning up the area doing  a little bit of terraforming and just planning  

Out what i would like to do with the area as i was  still unsure what i wanted to do i then went ahead   and moved a bunch of villages into one house so  that we could come back later on should we want to  

Build a trading hall now i doubt that we would get  that done in the first 100 days because that would   be quite a lengthy project but it’s something we  can always come back to later on for the rest of  

This i just went ahead and just cleared out some  of the area i laid out an area for a farm and just   done a little bit of terraforming into the land to  give me an idea of what i really had to work with

On day 55 i decided it was time to get out  the diamonds and craft ourselves a full set of   diamond armor we had enough to play with and even  had nine left at the end i also went ahead and  

Enchanted it all made sure that we had a bit more  protection for when we finally get to the never   i took out a few skeletons just to test out  and make sure that our armor was working  

Days 56 to 65 i decided to get the builders  cap out again and do a bit more terraforming   this time i just wanted to clean up the  land around the base seems a lot this  

Area was looking a bit messy i just wanted to  neaten it up and make it look a bit cleaner   so we went ahead we smoothed off some of the hills  here i would come back later on to make a pond  

But for now i just wanted to organize it and  finish off a wall at the front so that we had a   bit more structure across the front of our base we  then went ahead and started an area for where our  

Mind was now we already had our mind set up down  but at the top here it was looking a bit of a mess   so i put in some basic framework gave it a little  roof and just made it look like an actual place  

We then went ahead and decided to  work on an area for our storage   now i was running out of storage pretty quick  but i didn’t want just a storage place i wanted   somewhere to also house our neverpool so i figured  a sort of storage barn would work very well here  

Now this barn took me a lot longer to build  than i had had hoped um but it was worth it   in the end we had a very nice large storage  area and a nice area that matched our base  

The main thing here is i wanted to things  to match and to look like they fit with each   other as we only had probably a few buildings  that were gonna be here so i wanted it all to  

Look very much that it all fitted and blended in  together now as for the roof here we’re going with   this little kind of curved roof very similar to  the roof that we’ve done on our main base but  

We got two of them sticking out at the front  here to give this very much a look of a bond day 66-69 it was time to get ready for the never  i decided to craft some bows and enchanted them in   hopes of getting infinity which luckily  we got infinity and i’m breaking free  

We went ahead and crafted ourselves some flint  and steel so that we could light another portal   and then we start again i’ll never pull in  place now the network was housed in our barn  

And we somehow ended up two blocks short so i  had to mine up a couple more so that we could   finish it complete it and light it ready to go  to the never i decided to jump straight into  

The nether so that i could check out our spawn  location unfortunately we didn’t spawn in the   best of location we were high up in the nether  which means we would have to pillar our way down   but on the plus side we did spawn on top  of a crimson and warped wood forest which  

Means we would have plenty of supplies if  we wanted to get hold of them but for now i   wasn’t quite prepared for the never i didn’t have  enough materials or anything on me so i decided  

To just gather up some glowstone that was near  our portal and then head our way back to base back home i decided to go ahead and  make use of the little fields that   we laid out so i tilled the soil and  laid down some potatoes to grow now  

This is all we had at the moment  but we could make more later on i made some nicer pathways by adding some coolster  just to make it look a little bit more used and  

Then i went ahead and added in a few bushes just  to finish off the area and make it look a little   bit nicer i also went ahead and textured some of  the walls this was just looking a little bit too  

Plain so adding in a few different blocks here  and there just really added so much detail that   was needed for the area on day 70 to 77 i decided  that it was time to get back to building again and  

I was really in the mood to build a greenhouse i  hadn’t built a greenhouse for a very long time and   i’ve only built a very few of them so i decided  that this would be the perfect spot because we had  

Some farms at the back of the house here a  greenhouse would be perfect in this location   i decided to make it a little bit different  and go with a bit of an angled build   and i decided to use the white stained glass  because the white stained glass gives a bit more  

Of a steamed look so from the inside it looks like  it’s filled up with a bit of steam you know where   the plants might be growing and sweating on the  inside don’t get me wrong guys it took me quite  

A while to gather up enough lily of the valleys to  be able to make the glass white but we got there   in the end and it was worth it because i think  the white glass works so well with this build  

Overall i really love the structure and the  shape of this and i’m glad that i decided   to try this one on an angle i’ve never really  built any greenhouses i think i’ve only done   one greenhouse and this was the second attempt  and i wanted to try something different which  

Was why i put it at the angle and i’m really glad  i did because i think it adds such a great feature   and really fits in nice the way it sort of fits  into the path so really adds a great feature to  

The village next i went ahead and put a bit  of an interior inside here i didn’t want to   really go over the top so we just added a few  little farming areas and a few shelves we added  

In some wheat carrots and potatoes i added some  leaves in the roof and that was pretty much it day 78 to 85 we spent doing quite a few  different little chores we started by   adding some composters to our farms just  to make them look a little bit more used  

Um and just to add a little  bit more atmosphere to the area   we then headed over to the desert where we  gathered up a bunch of sand now i needed sand   so that i could find a way to kind of get down  in the nether because we were so high up i was  

Gonna need to pillar my way down so i figured  sound will probably be the easiest way to do so once in a nether i use the sand to pillar down all  the way until we got to the crimson forest where  

I accidentally shot a piglet when i was trying to  really shoot a hoglin i had to get rid of him and   get rid of his buddy sorry guys we then went ahead  found a warped tourist and gathered up a bunch of  

Materials i then came across a blade spawn which  was the perfect place to gather up some blaze rods   i was gonna need quite a few of these so that we  could craft some iron vendors so that we could  

Find a dungeon for the end portal which i was  hoping to take on before the end of our 100 days   we also found some basalt so i gathered up a  bunch of this because it’s probably one of my  

New favorite additions to 1.16 days 86 to 89  i just wanted to get in a bit more texturing   on our walls and finish up the main wall  around the front of our base just because   it was looking a bit plain and as you can see  after a bunch of texturing it actually looks  

Really cool we’ve got a little gateway at  the front and that just finishes off the   whole front side of the base or at least  what we plan for the future of the base the days were really starting to fly by so on  days 90 to 97 i decided to start preparing for  

The end of dragon flight now there was a bunch  of stuff i needed to get done but first of all   i wanted to repair my tools and then head into  the nether so that we could get some ender pearls  

I think endermen tend to float around the never  a little bit more than they do to overworld   so i went there made a little two block high  pillar above my head so that they couldn’t get me   and i started wandering around looking  them in the face getting their attention  

And it took me ages to get samanda pearls but  we finally got there in the end we gathered   up about 16 in total and this took me a couple of  hours just to gather this up which was ridiculous

B98 and i was feeling pretty nervous it  was time to head out and find the dragon   so we had to find that portal but we had one life  and one life only to take on this dragon could we  

Do it with one life i gotta tell you this was the  most nerve-wracking fight of my life in this game   anyway we continued forward forward and we found  that the dungeon was hidden underneath this little  

Island so we started digging down in hopes that  we wouldn’t have to dig too far now surely enough   we dug down the several blocks and i guess you  know after a little while we found it it wasn’t  

Really too hard now once was inside the dungeon  i took out a skeleton and kind of just started   looking around very quickly i came across this  little room here which had half a floor missing   and because half the floor was missing it made  me curious what was behind it lucky enough we  

Ended up filling in some of the floor taking out  a bunch of silverfish which wrecked half the walls   and there we go we found the  portal which had pretty much   most of the eyes missing other than two i went  ahead and filled it in and let the battle begin

Days were starting to wear down pretty quick it  was already a day 99 which means we didn’t have   long before day 100 was here so we had to quickly  take out all the crystals so that we can stop the  

Dragon from regenerating his health once they was  all taken out it was time to start concentrating   on the dragon himself now he threw his fireballs  and i kept ducking out away tried shooting him  

In the sky which my targeting wasn’t the best but  soon as he came down it was time to really let rip   with the axe we hit him down we took about quarter  of a health maybe just less on the first attempt  

But it got him down nonetheless at this point  in the battle i was seriously bricking it guys   i mean we didn’t have no lives to fall back on and  our ender dragon could take us out with one swipe  

So we had one chance at this and we would close it  in so close to day 100 now at this point i thought   it’s best to say stay safe and i’m gonna only  attack the dragon from behind i’m not gonna even  

Risk hitting him up front because i didn’t want  to risk him hitting me and when he was coming and   flying around i would only shoot him when he was  low enough where i could knew that i could hit him  

So this gave us a little bit more of an advantage  and yeah it was a little bit more of a coward’s   way i guess but it was the only way because  i weren’t risking it we would come this far  

There was no way i was gonna take any chances  so we kept pushing him pushing him he tried   swirling around my arrows but we caught him  and finally we prevailed in the end we took him unfortunately i lost a lot of the xp  in the end portal but we still managed  

To get the dragon egg which was my main goal  anyway so i wasn’t too bothered about the xp   and it was finally time to run home and celebrate  alwyn so we finally reached day 100 in hardcore  

Minecraft and i cannot tell you guys how much fun  this challenge has been i also cannot tell you   how nerve-wracking this challenge has been too  this has been such a nerve-wracking challenge   but i have had so much fun doing it now if  you guys would like to see it i would love  

To continue on this world and do days 100  today’s 200. i think we could accomplish   so many more building things in this world and  i love the look of this base scenario that we’ve  

Built up and it just seems a shame not to continue  on it so guys please let me know in the comments   would you like to see an extension of another 100  days in this world now 100 days is not very long  

We’ve actually managed to build quite a lot of  stuff not only have we completed our start base   and on the interior we’ve also done an enchantment  area we’ve built a mining area with a mining  

Entrance we built a storage barn with a bunch of  storage and set up our never pool we’ve been to   the nether we’ve gathered up a bunch of stuff from  the nether we’ve also built ourselves a few farms   we’ve done a little bit of terraforming we’ve  built ourselves a greenhouse done the inside of  

The greenhouse built a wall around part of our  base and we’ve done so many other little bits   in between which has been great so i’ve really  enjoyed this series so much so if you guys have
