Weekend in August uh or the last week in August leading up to the the first weekend of September was my father-in-law’s birthday and then my middle son’s birthday and so we celebrated two birthdays within a week and then we also went to a family camp for a couple of days where

We did some canoeing and horseback riding and archery and shot some rifles and did all sorts of fun things like that at Family Camp so we did that for two and a half days and then I got home I needed a day or two to recoup and rest

Up and get some energy back because it was a busy long fun weekend and then uh this past weekend so like just a few days later I went out of town to go visit one of my closest friends in Ohio and some other really close friends that

I got to see which was awesome it was so much fun uh because I used to live there I was there for seven years and I haven’t seen some of those people for a few a few years or at least since last year so I went up for the weekend to

Ohio just to visit some friends and it was really fun really fun got to see my see my my good friend play some music a couple nights in a row uh that’s like his full-time job he plays plays out um at various places around Ohio so yeah

It was it was a good time uh and then I got home on Sunday in time for my son’s baseball game and then uh took Sunday night off and took Monday night off because I was really tired as well and then uh I got I got back to work last

Night spent a bunch of time designing a redstone Contraption which you’ll see in the next video I’m not going to show it tonight because I don’t want to spoil that but we’ll be working on prepping for that to night which is gonna be really fun so I hope you guys are excited let’s

All right guys hey let’s dive into some Minecraft shall we I could not be more excited about this right here look full diamond gear Enchanted and I just broke my wall I broke my house my bad oh look at that’s what’s outside there it’s my roof oh okay

That one actually got me that one that one really got me I thought oh my gosh all right so if you haven’t seen my house house tour I got the kitchen you already saw the bedroom up here with the balcony nice view of the mountains way out there oh I love it

It’s beautiful and then oh we haven’t done a live since uh I built the enchantment Tower but here’s here’s my basement this is where all my storage stuff is that’s my first ever set of diamond armor in the world MTV Cribs Minecraft edition [Laughter] man

All right and then I Farms out here is like my crop farms and my animal farms all that stuff and look at this a beautiful Tower oh I’m so excited about this one this is a tower that I built in Bedrock guide season two and then after I built this

Literally the next video I put out was let’s play Bedrock episode one and I never went back to bedrock guide season two and I was so sad because I never finished this Tower I’m like oh man I love that Tower so much and I’ve been looking for like many places I’ve

Thought about putting this in many worlds and I finally found the perfect spot for it and rather than just doing a one for one rebuild of it I actually revamped it so like we got gradient walls up there now I think I changed the texture of this

Area out the roof on this is completely different before it was like an actual enclosed room with like a another cone roof right there and I didn’t really like it like I did at the time but as I was like tinkering with it and trying to change some things up I’m like that

Roof’s gotta go we gotta change it and I like this so much better I like it so much better so yeah we made some improvements Amanda thank you so much for becoming a diamond member something we should talk about uh here soon let me actually give you a quick preview

All right I’m not I’ve not mentioned this in any videos yet but I’m gonna I’m gonna mention this now let’s go back into the basement here okay so you guys have seen this basement right you saw the video on it and you just saw me tour it right now this is

Not the full basement oh what what there’s more where well there’s more right here look at this it’s all back here ready to go ready to be ready to be built in and I believe yeah like we still have this Tower up here that we’ve done nothing with so

This area I believe is going to be used for potion storage and potion brewing up there but in the meantime maybe sometime soon I could come in here and convert like this wall into a wall of YouTube and uh uh patreon members so that I don’t lose track of Who’s Who and

Who’s gonna eventually get an armor stand in this world at least I can go ahead and start tracking that stuff in world so you guys are in the world I can acknowledge that you guys have been generous with your resources and helping me out with memberships and all of that stuff so

That’s kind of what I’m thinking for that space well there you go so the tower let’s go into the tower we’ll do a quick tour there’s no door yet there’s some chests here which we’ll be using tonight uh first floor second floor we got chisel bookshelves

Which we haven’t moved any books to yet maybe we’ll do that tonight as well uh second floor with a little balcony overlooking the AFK fish farm and the house you can kind of see it outside the sunset beautiful sunset you can see the water oh I love this view it’s so good

Uh then if you go up here to this area this is like I just I love the transition between the two rooms like this is all like warm or not warm like earthy and inviting and it just feels really open and nice and then you go up here and it feels

Like a completely different Tower I I love the transition between these two rooms uh but this is gonna be my lapis storage I’ve got books in here right now which we’ll go put in the bookshelves later on but this right here is not just a balcony it’s like a little

Landing area for whenever we get an elytra we can just fly right into this room and then go up and enchant if we need to and it also has a beautiful view of the mountains in our house right And in this room I like the room it’s not very it’s not very well decorated I just kind of threw it together to get the enchanting done uh I still need to decorate this room if we have time maybe we’ll get to this room tonight but I’m not sure yet but oh

I just love it we can look out the windows I got a big window overlooking the mountains and uh the house and then some smaller Windows over here overlooking the fish farm again I I just love how open this build is you can look around the entire area it’s amazing so good

Down to uh start working on the entrance to the skeleton Farm which is actually going to be the next video it’s a very very cool entrance um or part of that is needing to go to that scary place over there wherever it is you can’t see it where’s it at

Where’s it at right over there you see it there’s the nether portal we gotta go to that scary place I need to get some quartz because I don’t have any and in order to do what I want to do in the next episode even though I haven’t done another episode yet

I need to go get Quartz so what do we want to do first do we want to start working or do we want to go to the nether you just go get your first creeper death of the episode over and with now I got full Enchanted armor now we’re done with creeper deaths

I’m not gonna die again until I fight the Wither I’m calling it right now maybe not even then we’ll see Nether Nether Nether Nether nether go to the fiery place all right look it sounds like everybody wants to go to another so let’s go

Let’s go no look I got a shield look see I got a shield I just I don’t like it man I don’t like it because it comes up too far on the screen I know the sword comes up farther but like this the sword is thin

It’s like giant thing Block in my view can’t even see but we’re gonna go let me let me be smart for once in my life let me be smart uh get the lower shield resource pack here’s where I’m concerned about that some resource packs are making sniffers completely invisible

And I want to be able to see the sniffers when we finally go get one right let me just you know what I just need four pieces because I’m just gonna get some uh maybe I want my boots one two three four five six seven let’s do pants let’s do pants

I need to smelt this which means I need some coal because I’m out of coal up there if you had a few settings um I’m on 70. there toss that back in there and toss that in there smell smell smell let’s go the only resource pack that I have on

This world right now because I was getting so sick and tired of Enderman uh is the anti-interm creeping creepers can still blow things up but Enderman can no longer pick up blocks at least I think it works I haven’t seen an Enderman around here carrying a block

In quite a while but I was getting so tired of them leaving like one hole in the ground I was over it throw them on the enchanting table I don’t have enough points I only have eight points we could potentially go find like a book that’s got one or two things on it

No Lava bucket Farm yet no we’re still honestly we’re still relatively early in the world I just got my first set of Enchanted gear last week grass blocks are like math how are they like math all right we got a pair of golden pants now the piglets won’t bother us while

We’re looking for courts have Enderman always picked up blocks if so who thought they were a good idea I yes they have always picked up blocks I don’t know whose idea it was but it was a bad one it’s like here let’s let’s make a game that’s all about building World building

And let’s have a name like let’s have a mob specifically that just destroys your world one block at a time that’s a great idea um protection three Unbreaking three that could be helpful let’s do it that’s probably about as good as I’m gonna get what’s up blue and chat hello Just enough I know it’s not uh it’s not protection four or anything yeah three we’ll be okay with that that should be fine it’ll be enough to keep the internet off our backs I got my bow to take care of the Ghasts we’re not Enderman piglands did I say Enderman I don’t know

Voiceovers on a lot of clips hopefully you won’t be able to tell hopefully it feels pretty seamless and natural and part of the video but yeah I do a lot of voiceovers what difficulty do you play on I put as my good friend no greed just said

Gonna go to Chipotle this week probably try transcriptions right for Xbox game pass seems much more reasonable than paying for it outright and you can play more games right I don’t know man like it just it seems like way too expensive seventy dollars for a game

Keyboard thing was like so foreign to me so weird because I never really done it before but now that I’m used to it it’s my preferred way of playing Minecraft it’s absolutely the best all right uh you know what before we do anything else let’s put a floor down

I have bought it for my iPhone I bought it from the Nintendo switch I’m just gonna connect all that up uh I bought it for the Xbox when I had an Xbox I bought it for Android twice for like the BlueStacks simulator like Android or not simulator emulator

Uh so that I can have a camera account on my PC I bought it twice on there the first time like I purchased it and then like I tried to download it again it made me buy it again it was weird um what is the vibe I bought it for

I don’t know I’m sure I’ve bought it a few more times but I’ve I’ve paid for Minecraft several times I started on PC as well with the original Java nice so why why did you make the switch to bedrock if you started on Java that is not the

Story of a lot of java players once once somebody starts on Java that’s typically where they stay so I am curious why the switch Huh no longer had access to a computer but had access to PS4 okay that makes sense I know there are some like nuances that are different between the two but if you lose access to a PC and you still love Minecraft then you’re gonna find a way to play it like for me

If if I ever like quit doing YouTube Forever like I did that one time that I said I was never coming back and here I am if I still wanted to play Minecraft and I didn’t have a PC and had no reason to

Buy a PC I 100 would just play it on my phone or I would get a console that I played on but like phone Minecraft I have no problem with phone Minecraft it’s still the same game prefer the Simplicity you don’t like the mods honestly like I’m not a big modded

Minecraft guy either if they ever brought like actual mods to Minecraft Bedrock Edition I’m sure I would give it a try but it it’s not enough to draw my attention over to Java to want to play that The parody was so big between console edition and Java that it drove me nuts I couldn’t make Farms I was used to I know I know and that’s that’s still an issue we’re dealing with like there are some things that work on here that don’t work on Java and something that work there

That don’t work on here it’s still a big issue but that Gap is closing there are a lot of similarities now that we’re not there even a couple years ago so I I honestly think that’s their goal is to merge them they say they’re not doing away with

Java Edition but like they’re making Bedrock Edition to be on par with Java Edition so that they can eventually get rid of job Edition I’m like I I’m a firm believer in that as soon as there’s no reason to have two versions it’s done they will move everything over to

Bedrock and that’ll be it Bedrock is good enough though but get a controller to play on the phone I have one of the like um called game vice it doesn’t actually fit my new phone I I’ve had that thing for years like it’s a little controller

You plug into the lightning port on your phone about getting like the um official like Xbox controller to to play it with like to get Bluetooth on there is then I could use it for my computer I could use it for my phone the Xbox controller that I have is like an old

One that didn’t use Bluetooth it used whatever their frequency was to play Xbox but it’s not Bluetooth so I can’t like do it on my phone or on my PC I have to plug it in with a USB cable but it works for what I use it for on here

But yeah I thought about getting an actual like Xbox controller to plug into my phone and play various games on there because then I could get like the cloud gaming the Xbox cloud gaming description at some point and play like Xbox games on my phone that’d be pretty fun too

Controller play did somebody really redeem that you turds turds all right hang on let me get it I have the backbone for my phone here’s the reason why I I don’t necessarily want to get another controller that plugs directly into my phone case in point the iPhone 15 was just announced this week

And for the first time in 11 years they have uh said that they are putting the lightning port to rest they are now switching over to the standard USBC that everybody else uses so the proprietary ports that they use gone there’s no guarantee that from year to

Year they’re going to change that so if you ever get a new device then your like controller is done for you can’t use it with the binding controller too so um yeah I mean I’ve got a little hesitation with buying another like straight plug-in kind of device but

Bluetooth I wouldn’t I wouldn’t hesitate on it I’ve thought about it here’s the thing though my least favorite way to play Minecraft is with controller I honestly do prefer touch screen over controller I feel like the movement is much more natural with your thumbs on the touchscreen versus the the joy cons or

Joysticks maybe it’s just a setting I have it at but it just it feels much more smooth to drag your thumb across the screen than it does to drag it across the thumbstick I don’t know all right is the whole room covered maybe do we want to do this right now

Like the lightsaber fights and stuff are uh so much better on controller but like Shooters and being accurate with like the little Crosshair on the the Minecraft screen I don’t know why but it just feels more tactile feels more natural than controller play I just hate controller play

Like most recently when I’ve been playing Minecraft with my my boys I’ll log them in on the Nintendo and they will play split screen together and then I will sit there on the couch with them so I’m still in the room we’re doing like couch Co-op

Minecraft but I will play on my phone in the same world because I just I prefer it all I know is controller can’t do mouse and keyboard it’s funny right isn’t that funny how different people have different experiences some people are like I will never play on touch screen mobile is so terrible

They’re like hey let’s throw a closer in this week so if there’s no closer I will be leaving like before the the preacher starts talking after third service because I’ve already I would have already been there two Services right um so I should be home in more than enough time to

Hit the start of Minecraft live this is on a Sunday this year what a weird day to put it on it’s been on Saturday every year the history of this stinking show and they decided to put it on on Sunday this year come on uh so it’s on Sunday I’ve already got a

Prior engagement at my church I gotta help out with that so I’m gonna be there as long as we don’t have a closer song I should be good the other contingency is uh my son is playing baseball uh this year and his last week is October 5th but they are having

Oh I didn’t put ladders in that was a really bad idea I’ll get him on the way oh I think I’m letting him all despawn down there that was really dumb um uh the last week is like October 5th but that’s like regular season they have a tournament schedule that they’re going

To be releasing probably not until the regular season is over so I don’t know if he’s gonna have a baseball game that day because they’ve been on some days every every game so far this season’s been on a Sunday but they’ve typically been at like 3 30 or 5.

So if the game is at like 3 30 or 5 I should be more than enough that should be more than enough time for me to stream during the Minecraft live event and to be able to leave in time to catch his game right if it’s at like two or one or somewhere

Like in the middle of the stream I’m obviously not gonna stream I’m gonna go to my son’s baseball game I’m not gonna miss like tournament stuff like that so if that happens I will postpone my live reactions until later that night so I will like avoid all news

Possible during that day and then I’ll just watch the replay of Minecraft live because they usually post it on YouTube right the same day um I will I will do a live react to it later that night as long as they post the the stream right so that’s kind of my content contingency

For Minecraft life there’s a few things that I’ve got going on the day of that we’ll just kind of have to wait and see what happens but if all goes according to plan I will be collaborative streaming with prowl and uh we’ll be given our thoughts and hopefully excited reactions for what’s

You with it right if you have magma blocks it will send bubbles down and pull you down towards the magma block so that’s that’s the down elevator if you wanted to do that you could so there you go learn something new every day I hope I hate that you get the damage

Because we’re gonna need those for repeaters and comparators anyway um we just get what do I have like the most wooden honestly it’s pretty even um sticks where are you there you go Boop and Boop go get some more redstone can you push harnesses with pistons I believe so

Uh here’s a parody thing can you push uh can you push chisel bookshelves with pistons in Java Edition you can in Bedrock Edition anybody know surely that’s gonna be enough we’ll see though no you cannot look at that another another way that Bedrock Edition has the as the edge

So if you don’t want to go flying off a ledge or something that might be worth it to you this is actually a really stupid idea because I don’t have elytra but anyway but to get another right gear I will get it whenever we do another ride episode and then I will

Basically only use netherrite gear from then on but right now Diamond gear is good enough like this is considered in-game level gear until we get to another right survives lava touches Cactus dies pretty much but Cactus is sharp and Pokey I’d die too lots and lots of quartz yeah we’re we’re
