Hello this is Daniel please my name’s Daniel and welcome to yet another minecraft video So with Minecraft 1.15 the buzzy bees update being released just a few days ago I can imagine that you really want to play Minecraft 1.15 but what if it plays like this if you are having these kind of lag spikes just low fps in general or just FPS drops that are Really insane and be sure to watch all the way to the end of this video to get all of the tips and tricks of things that you can do without even having to leave minecraft to make minecraft run a lot better if you’re interested in minecraft interested in minecraft videos About shaders texture packs minecraft maps or even ways to make minecraft run a lot better like I’m going to tell you about in this video be sure to hit that subscribe button and without further ado let’s get straight into the Minecraft video settings so today we are only Going to be touching the minecraft video settings that you can find by hitting escape going into this pause menu that you probably already know then going into options and clicking video settings we are going to be talking about every single setting that’s in here and for each and every single setting I’m going To be telling you what the best setting is if it has a big impact on your FPS or if it has a small impact on your FPS or if it doesn’t affect your FPS now before you go into the comment section and complain about my PC again because I Always get comments like you’re showing us things to do on low-end pcs but actually you have a high end PC well I have a pretty good PC but right now I am recording this video on my school laptop no joke this thing has an i-5 4300 u it has Integrated graphics so all I am using is integrated Intel graphics and they are not so good so as you can see my FPS are T darn low at this point actually once I start building vehicle even lower yes really insane or for example when it Starts to snow I will get like 15fps and it’s completely unplayable so what we’re gonna do is hit escape go into this pause menu that I just told you about go into options go into video settings and these are the settings that are going to be important today so first things first We want to take a look at the full screen resolution but ironically enough I’m gonna be telling you about this setting at the end of this video because actually what it does is change the entire resolution of the game which is something you should try at the end of Actually messing with these settings because sometimes it’s you don’t even have to do it so Byam blends what does the setting do it blends biomes so if you have a swamp biome that is usually pretty green yeah for example swamp water it’s really green and if it is Adjacent to an ocean like a very blue ocean it’s gonna mix the colors to make it seem like they fade into each other if you turn this off you will just see one green block and one very blue block and it’s got a little really stupid but Minecraft actually gives you a hint it says very high if we turn this down to seven it says hi normal fast and turning it off is the fastest option so minecraft actually helps you on this one I don’t think it set that before which setting actually is the fastest Setting so now it does in Minecraft 1.15 that’s really nice just turn this off if you need a yes okay please just turn it off then the graphics this one is pretty obvious there’s a setting called fancy in a setting called fast fancy makes leafs transparent and stuff Like that but if you don’t have the FPS for that of course turn it down to fast then smooth lighting it also affects your FPS quite massively so if you actually have low FPS just turn this all the way off if you’re thinking well I have like 30 FPS If I turn it off but I do want some smooth lighting you can turn it up to minimum which will still give you some smooth lighting and make Minecraft look a lot better but then again you will lose more FPS so turning this off is the fastest setting now fie sync Vsync is a really important and a really tricky one because piecing doesn’t really do much it should always be turned off actually the gy scale all that does is make the GUI bigger or smaller so there we go just setting it to 2 which is like the default scale Just leave it at that because this doesn’t affect your performance at all and the same goes for brightness this is one of those settings that doesn’t do anything but make Minecraft brighter or darker so setting it to bright actually helps when mining because it makes a visibility a little bit better if you Don’t have torches or something fullscreen is a setting that you should always have enable unless you’re having problems with running games fullscreen you should always run fullscreen fullscreen will remove a lot of latency it will remove a lot of input lag which is latency pretty much and it will also Tell for example you’re a laptop because especially on laptops I noticed this difference if you set it to full screen it will stop working on background Windows so if you have a lot of stuff open and you set minecraft to fullscreen you’re pretty much telling your laptop please just focus on Minecraft now Then the MIT map levels now this is a fun one because I always told you guys to leave this setting alone because it didn’t do anything I actually received a ton of comments saying that tournament map levels down actually gives you a few FPS and then we’re coming to probably The most important setting in minecraft render distance render distance is literally what you tell minecraft to render for you if you step so like 12 chunks like this you’re telling minecraft to render 12 chunks of chunk distance so if we pop out of this menu Which I’m trying to do but of course it has supply the mid map levels there we go you can see that I can see really really far now like really far and I really don’t need that but minecraft does have to think about that so it’s It’s gonna take a lot of FPS so what you want to do is try to set this to something like 6 this is already gonna make it a lot better if you have it set to something super high set it to 6 and see what that does for you if that still Doesn’t work for you you can of course set it to something like 4 and if you really really still cannot play minecraft just set it to 2 I’m gonna show you real quick what that does it boosts your FPS massively as you can see I’m running almost 70 FPS now but this Is pretty much unplayable because you cannot really see anything coming at you like a zombie that can already see you right there you’re not gonna see it you’re not gonna see it because you have two chunks render distance so setting this to something like 4 can still be Very playable and will give you really good FPS but the best setting is to obviously for the max FPS then max frame rate which is typically set to something like 60 or 100 never set this to any specific number just set it to unlimited that’s it view bobbing if you don’t know what Bobbing is it’s pretty much that when you walk your camera shakes that’s really it and if you you know it doesn’t really affect your performance but just for the sake of it turning a setting off can always only be better than having it enabled so be sure to turn that off then The attack indicator this one really really doesn’t do anything for your FPS so you can leave this alone just set this to your well preference but this just really doesn’t do anything then clouds there’s three different options here cloud set to fancy which will make them look like this Which makes them 3d then there’s the option to meet them fast which will make them flat which is a really good compromise because you still get the clouds but they are super easy to run in Minecraft if you still don’t have enough fps just turn them all the way off and The good thing about it is that you will have a very clear sky now there’s only two settings left with well a third one being up here the particles just there’s no way to turn particles off but the thing that you can do is set it to Either decrees or minimal and minimal is obviously the best setting here I don’t want to talk too much about each in one of these settings because they don’t do that much they don’t bring you that much more FPS but you know and they’re so simple because they’re pretty much Self-explanatory in then entity shadows which is the last setting that does not have to do with the full screen resolution obviously entity shadow is something like the shadow underneath things that you throw on the ground so items or your character also has an entity shadow and these are things that Minecraft has to think about so turning it off will give you more FPS all in all this or actually this is the best set up for the Minecraft video settings if you need the best FPS if you’re having huge lag spikes due to well your PC or your Laptop not being able to run Minecraft then these should be the settings that you should be running as you can see I’m now almost getting a consistent 60fps but like when I’m looking at a house for example I get 50 or maybe even 47 so it’s not quite 60 it’s almost 60 but It’s not quite 60 so what I want to do is make sure I actually get over 60 FPS and the way to do that is actually pretty simple but it will force me to reload the recording that I’m making right now because I have to change the entire resolution of Minecraft so what You want to do is set the full screen resolution which for me is 1600 by 900 for you it’s either going to be the same or it’s gonna be 1920 by 1080 but be sure to set it to something lower and I’d recommend 1600 by 900 is still 16 to 9 so it still will look and fit in your screen setting it to something in between here will look really weird and then the next good resolution is 1280 by 720 be sure to pay attention to the 60 here because that’s really important it has to be at 60 Now I’m gonna try to run it at 1280 by 720 which is 720p maybe you know that from YouTube videos for example it’s exactly the same quality 720p and I’m gonna reload the recording now because it’s gonna crash once I do this and then I’m gonna get back and show you the Result so I’m back and um well just look at my fps I am now playing at 720p and my fps are well always over 60 now and actually sometimes they get really high over 70 now let’s go into this view well look at that if I look into the distance It can go over 80 80 78586 that’s pretty insane right that is pretty insane so I hope this tutorial helped you if it did then be sure to hit that thumbs up let me know down below in the comments how many FPS you managed to get using this Guide of course there are other options to get more FPS in Minecraft such as Optifine but Optifine has still to be released for 1.15 because 1.15 was released about three days ago so it’s impossible for the creator of Optifine to make a version that quickly but once We do get a version I will be sure to let you know and of course there’s other things like allocating more RAM to Minecraft which you can also do so just look that up on internet because it’s super simple so like I said to let me know down below In the comments how many FPS you managed to get with these video settings I’m super curious about that and of course I will catch you in the next one Thea Video Information
