Hello minecrafters time to brew ourselves a potion of dun-dun-dun swiftness so to brew a potion of swiftness you need a couple of ingredients I’m going to show you all the ingredients here let’s get rid of that first off you need blaze powder you’ll need some netherwart sugar you’re Gonna want glowstone dust and redstone whenever you are creating a potion and gunpowder and fermented spider eye for a little bit of fun at the end you also will need glass bottles and I’ll show you how we’re going to use that in just a second first off I’m going to grab the The water or the empty glass bottles if you have a cauldron you can fill up water into the bottles using the cauldron or if you have water nearby you can just fill them up that way as well I’m going to use my brewing stand put my bottles down there I’ll put my blaze Powder up here you can put all of it up there it’s nice to kind of have some left over and the first step for making this is to put nether wart up here this will create something called an awkward potion and an awkward potion is the first step in actually making our potion Of swiftness so let’s go ahead and take a look after ah I thought I had awkward potion there I don’t alright once you have awkward potion created then you put sugar in there to create your potion of swiftness now I know I have some of that right here potion of swiftness now you Have a couple of things there when you hold over top of it it says you have a speed of 3 and when applied plus 20% speed that’s your that’s an important piece of information and that can be increased by using both the glowstone and the redstone the glowstone will Increase the level and you’ll see that in just a second and the Redstone increase the duration alright so we can take a look at that now what I’m going to do with this one is actually throw some gunpowder in there and that will give us the third thing that you can do With this and that’s to make it into a splash potion the advantage of a splash potion is you can throw it on the ground and you’ll instantly get the effects instead of taking the time to actually drink the potion and wait for the effects to happen that way all right so Let’s take a look so this one here notice we put the redstone in again the Redstone increases the duration we still have a plus 20% speed but it lasts for eight minutes instead of lasting for three minutes I’ll put that into my inventory bring the redstone back down Here go over here when I put the glowstone in it increased the percentage so now it’s 40% percent speed so it’s a speed two but it’s not good for nearly as long alright now just a quick question what if you wanted to try both If I take this one now and try to apply the glowstone afterwards it doesn’t work you can only do one or two one or them one of them or the other one all right you can’t do can’t double dip and the splash potion with the gunpowder gives Us our speed potion and you can have a splash potion of swiftness with speed two or that kind of a splash potion as well and just like most potions I’m gonna put a potion and a potion you can also use a fermented spider eye to corrupt the potion and make it the Opposite of swiftness and you’ll see in a second what that does so no it’s not that one this one alright so I made a splash potion with three different types there’s my splash potion of swiftness level one splash potion of swiftness speed two and the splash potion of swiftness with a longer Duration so you can see that all of those worked and now for our final part and that was potion of slowness look at that there’s a potion of slowness worked on this one notice that one didn’t potion of swiftness stayed there as a potion of swiftness propulsion of Slowness affected this one so that will make you slower for a total of four minutes you’ll have 15% slower speed you can use that throw it at someone if you made it into a splash potion you could have a splash potion of slowness to throw it in enemy all right so that is Everything that you can do with the potion of slowness quick review on what you need for that first you need a blaze powder mixed with another wort to give the awkward potion the awkward potion is then mixed with sugar and that will give you the potion of swiftness then you can Mix that with glowstone dust to make it a swiftness – you can mix it with redstone dust to increase the duration you can mix with gunpowder as we did here to make a make it into a splash potion and our last thing that we did was to mix it with a fermented spider Eye to give us that negative or potion of slowness that is everything there is to know about the potion of swiftness when you throw it you’ll see your swift icon up there and you should be able to run a little bit quicker I hope that lesson was helpful for you have a Wonderful day Video Information
